EDC (Every Day Carry) Knife with Leather Stacked Handle

This knife is going to be an every day carry knife and because of that it needs a short handle to keep the whole thing compact I've just mocked up the design with cardboard just to see how it feels in the hand and even though my little finger doesn't quite grip the whole handle it does feel pretty good and it should work out fine the knife isn't for me it's for a fellow YouTuber so stick around til the end and I'll tell you who it's for I'm using 1075 high carbon steel and for the handle I'm going to use stacked leather with wooden bolsters The threaded rod needs forcing into the tang but I'll heat treat it and finish the blade first hardening tempering 210C 2hours lots of hand sanding going for a satin finish a fresh section of sandpaper for each stroke making the bolster the rear bolster oops dry fit grinding down a cheap socket filling pores with CA glue sanding glue off to leave the pores filled about ten coats of beeswax polish at the beginning of the video I said the life wasn't for me I made it for Joey from Kingpost Timberworks if you haven't checked out his channel already then you really should because he makes awesome stuff I'll put a link to his channel in the description I'm very happy with how it turned out it's a shame I have to hand it over but I really enjoyed making it, so I should probably make myself one now hopefully you enjoyed the video please like and subscribe, thanks for watching and I'll see you on the next one
