[Music] hey guys welcome back to my channel today if you are new welcome my name is kim and if you're not welcome back i just want to say hi to all of my new subscribers hi guys thank you guys so much for joining me thank you for subscribing thank you for watching my videos i'm sure you guys already know my channel is all about living a low carb and keto lifestyle i've lost 75 pounds in one year from just eating keto eating low carb fasting and exercising so for me personally i like easy quick and convenient so my channel is all about just making low carb and keto meals that are easy for me and my family that are easy to make and they're just simple and convenient so i'm so glad you're here and i hope that i can help you guys with your weight loss journey and continue your weight loss if you haven't started yet hopefully my videos can kind of inspire you guys to start if you've been looking to start i have a video on my youtube channel on how to start keto um so if you're looking to kind of get some ideas or get some tips and advice on how to actually start keto i'll link the video right here for you guys go ahead and watch that video and that can kind of just give you a couple ideas and tips on how to start and where to start so i usually start off every morning with a cup of coffee a cold brew coffee to be exact but today i am gonna have a cup of hot green tea i actually just warmed some hot water up in my keurig green tea by bigelow i like to add a little bit of lemon i'll show you guys um when we get there but i'm going to show you guys the box so this is the green tea box that i have it's a huge one there's 176 wrapped green teas in here but you don't have to buy this huge box i just bought it because when i initially started in my weight loss journey i drink two cups of these a day and that really really helped me lose weight but now i just drink like maybe two to three cups a week um but they do sell them in smaller boxes at your local grocery store target walmart publix giant eagle and this will be my cup of green tea for the day okay guys quick trip to the grocery store i went to giant eagle i wasn't gonna share this but i got some really um keto must-haves that i just needed to share with you guys these are just all my produce i'm not gonna take them off the bag for you but i'm gonna just quickly let you know what they are i have limes in here i have a head of iceberg lettuce i have yellow onions cilantro and i already have chopped up red onion i got some cherry tomatoes these are really good for keto for one whole cup um there's only four grams of net carbs so obviously you're not going to eat one whole cup at a time so if you just eat maybe two or three that's gonna probably be less than one gram of net carb um so and then i got some petite carrots guests got some bay leaves i got some ripe avocados i always get questions about these wraps guys these are keto friendly they're the mission carb balance tortilla wraps just make sure you get whole wheat because there's like flour there's corn um but i got the two sizes that they had this is sort of like a medium and this these are street tacos just to show you guys the macros one of these tortillas only has three grams of net carbs guys this is a keto must-have if you have this in your store or your grocery store please pick this up and then i also got street tacos so for two tortillas there are three grams of net carbs so if you just have one that's only one and a half gram of nut carbs i did get some feta cheese just to kind of throw on my salads or my sandwiches so lunch meat and cheese really great to have on hand when you're doing keto cheese and lunch meat have very very very little net carbs to them i got some bacon i am not a huge fan of milk but i've been seeing people get this specific milk this is the silk almond unsweetened um milk and macros are incredible on here one cup only has 30 grams or 30 calories and uh one gram of net carb so that is actually really really good so these are just beef and chicken stock they were on sale which is why i got four now these are some new finds that i am excited to share with you guys and excited to try for myself one is in caramel macchiato which i love like the regular caramel macchiato and one is just in the plain french vanilla so just to check macros one tablespoon has 20 calories and less than one gram of carbs so basically there's no carbs so that is awesome i can't wait to try that and then i also pair this with my favorite coffee this is the stoke cold brew coffee i always get the unsweetened one um and it's in like this greenish um bottle and i got two so these two i will let you guys know how these taste together i'm sure that they're going to be delicious and the last couple of things i got when you're on keto the goal is for your foods to be tasty because you are cutting back on a lot of carbs and carbs are tasty so i would definitely recommend getting some beef bouillon and some chicken bouillon um just because this will give anything so much flavor your rice your chicken your soups just about everything so definitely have this on hand i have always used the cube but this one is loose powder so i can measure this with a teaspoon or tablespoon so i think this is just a little bit more convenient but yeah this will make everything so tasty and then i did get just this can of chipotle peppers and adobo sauce because i need this for dinner tonight and then this is my favorite guys this is queso sauce i put this usually on my breakfast burritos when i have one of these tortillas with like eggs and bacon but yeah guys i just quickly wanted to show this to you guys because some of these are just really like important keto must-haves like the lunch meat the tortillas the creamer the coffee the flavoring so hopefully you guys are able to get some ideas from this so now i am gonna actually start dinner yes it's really early right now it's only 10 o'clock in the morning but i am making barbacoa in the crock pot which is why i had to run to the grocery store real quick and i'm going to show you how i make okay so i'm going to go through all the ingredients that you'll need for the barbacoa again i'm throwing this all in the crock pot you will need chuck roast now i have two chuck roasts and i'm going to use both of them just because they were buy one get one free and i don't want them to go bad so i have two huge chuck roasts for this um you're gonna need some limes you're gonna need onions you're gonna need some bay leaves cilantro worcestershire sauce i don't know if i said that right tomato paste beef bouillon this is really important you're going to need the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and i also have two things of beef broth these are low sodium i would definitely recommend low sodium and then for my seasonings i have garlic powder black pepper salt cayenne pepper paprika and cumin so i'm gonna go ahead and mix all of the seasonings together season the beef and then i'm also going to sear it i already have my cast iron ready for it so i'm gonna go ahead and sear it after i season it and then i'll show you guys what to do next so what i'm gonna do first is mix all of my dry ingredients together sear my chuck roast and then create the sauce using the chipotle peppers then i'm gonna add the chuck roast into the crock pot use the remainder of the seasonings and top it off with worcestershire sauce and add some onion in there i did add a whole onion after that we're gonna top it off with the sauce that we just made and i did use a cup of beef broth and a tablespoon of tomato paste i then added two bay leaves squeezed some fresh lime and i added two generous tablespoons of minced garlic so once this is mixed all together i am just going to let this sit on low and now we wait okay guys so now that dinner's in the crock pot i'm going to go ahead and make breakfast um i'm going to be honest i'm not really really hungry so i'm just going to make something really small i'm going to be making egg bites in the airfryer i'm just going to try to make it like the ones from starbucks there's like this bacon one so i'm going to do that and just kind of show you guys how i make it this is really good for meal prepping if you're going to work or in the office or just school it's really nice to just grab in the morning throw in the microwave and just eat and it's keto friendly so i'm gonna start off by cracking two eggs together adding salt garlic powder and black pepper then i'm gonna add american cheese and spinach to these i got these little cute silicone cupcake things from target i will link them down below and then the key to this is adding crumbled bacon you guys can add whatever you want to yours but i think bacon really takes it up 10 notches super easy okay so this is what it looks like so i'm just gonna go ahead and mix everything okay so now i'm just gonna throw this in the airfryer also guys if you don't have an air fryer please get one especially if you're going to be doing keto and low carb this is really really going to help you cook your foods without the extra greasiness of everything and i don't know air fryers are just life-changing they're amazing i will link this one um down below in the description box you can buy it on amazon so i am gonna just put this on 360. for about six minutes whoops and then we'll check on it in six minutes all right guys these are my little egg bites with spinach bacon and american cheese i already took a small bite it's really good i'm actually gonna add sriracha to one of them and i'm gonna add cheese to one of them just to kind of see which one i like better so this is the queso cheese and then this is just simple sriracha then i'll just leave one plain so try this one first and i don't know if you guys can see the spinach the bacon in there i think they're all really good but my favorite if i had to pick one is the queso cheese sauce one just because there's a lot of cheese and it's just like really savory all right so for lunch i'm gonna be making a um sort of like a turkey club wrap so i'm gonna be using iceberg lettuce as my wrap i have avocado american cheese um turkey lunch meat bacon and cherry tomatoes and also some mayo so i'm just gonna use two i'm just kind of flatten it but try not to really break it put some mayo all over i am just going to layer it with some honey turkey okay i'm just gonna use one slice of cheese you can add your bacon add some cherry tomatoes i've really been into tomatoes lately you guys don't have to add tomatoes but i just really love how it tastes i'm just gonna add some avocado i am gonna just do just and then i'm just gonna just roll it up [Applause] i'm gonna cut this right down the middle and all right guys so this is my lunch again i would call this a turkey club wrap avocado cherry tomatoes mayo bacon american cheese turkey lunch meat wrapped in iceberg lettuce and then i have a side of red hot pork rinds so i'm gonna go ahead and have this for lunch and then i can't wait for dinner so while the cauliflower is cooking i'm gonna try to go ahead and just slowly start shredding all the big chunks okay i think the rice is done [Music] yep all the broth has been soaked into the cauliflower rice so i'm gonna go ahead and turn this heat off and just let this sit until it's dinner time guys i lied i just had this great idea on adding fresh cilantro it's kind of reminding me of my dirty cauliflower rice because i add cilantro to that but this is just gonna kind of give it that um fresh kick to it okay guys dinner is done the barbacoa is nice and shredded and done i'm so excited this was my first time making this and it came out so good so so this is everything lined up my toppings i have my street tacos which are low carb this is the one that i'm using i have that i have some cut up lime i have shredded lettuce i have some red onion some shredded cheese and cilantro and then i do have a fourth of an avocado that i'm going to add to mine and again this is on a small dinner plate helps with portion control okay toppings i am gonna add some lettuce some red onion some more cilantro i'm just gonna add cheese to one guys dinner is done i have a full plate again this is on a small dinner plate so it's not as much as it looks but i have my cauliflower mexican rice here and i have three barbacoa tacos topped with red onion lettuce cilantro green pepper chili and some cheese so i cannot wait to take a bite i've been making this all day so i'm so excited but yes so freaking good and i cannot wait i like don't even know where to start i don't know all right i'm just gonna go ahead and eat the one with the cheese first a little bit of lime guys this is so freaking good this is probably i don't know anyways guys let's try the rice wow you cannot even tell a difference between this in regular rice the key to having delicious cauliflower rice is to add seasonings and to just try to make it as tasty as possible using seasonings and chicken broth beef broth chicken bouillons and just anything that gives flavor that is the key i like plain cauliflower rice but i know a lot of you guys don't you guys need flavor so just be creative add whatever you would add into your regular rice um fried rice jambalaya beans well you can't add beans in tequila but you know you get the point just add flavor all right guys i'm gonna end my video here i hope you guys enjoyed today's what i eat in a day i will list recipes
