East KY Anglers Episode 3 WOLF CREEK PAYLAKE landing a big FLATHEAD catfish

hey what's up everybody welcome back to another episode right here on east kentucky angler my name is mike my name is james and we are here at a new pay lake that i've heard of it's been built for three or four years but it's just now coming around to be fishable and it's called wolf creek pay lake outside of grayson kentucky here let's take a look at it real quick that's the damn area up there they're telling me it's about 21 22 feet deep up there about 30 feet off the dam and they've got some white gravel all the way around it it runs down into the water very nice facility so far and it's not a huge lake it's probably an acre acre and a half big here then way back there in the back they have a smaller lake i believe that's the channel cats uh back there so we we've got we've been in the water for about 30 minutes here we ain't had a run yet we've had a little bit of action but i've got some new gear here that i'll introduce to you all here later and hopefully we'll get on to some so stay tuned and let's see if we can get on some um [Music] yep [Music] [Applause] [Music] no no no no [Music] fish it's a real good fish a little star then fight uh all right folks as you see we just got this big flat head we'll take it over to get it weighed never know we might hit a little bit mommy i doubt it where our luck is but we're gonna see it's this nice flat first fish here at wolf creek it took us a little bit to figure them out but i think we got it figured out here get her dialed in [Applause] 29.5 hanging we'll look at him okay man get a picture of him like he's pushing slot you haven't found on me [Applause] that's a nice fish there's a lot bigger ones in there so the 60 over 60 in here sunday there we are folks wolf creek here in grayson kentucky charlie didn't pull him because he's got that other fence you are getting soaked there it is taking that one with you though yep i'm gonna take it let me tell you well folks you probably can't see me but uh it is coming a trencherous downpour right now we are camped out in the van we have caught three fish so far i think we got two of them on video for you the other one was actually somebody broke off and uh i caught their line and brought that little flathead in but it is absolutely pouring the rain right now hopefully it quits that way we can get back at it because i think i found out where they're schooled up at and get [Music]
