EA FC 24 - How To FIX DELAY & LAG, Reduce Gameplay Delay, Best m/s Internet Gameplay Settings

okay guys we're going to show you how to remove stutters delay how to improve your gameplay speed how to reduce the lag reduce servers server locations everything like that ethernet cables we're going to go through everything and it should change probably this will probably if you follow this video properly you watch for everything it will give you the best performance ever first of all inside the game you want to go over to um settings and you want to go over so settings by the way if anyone doesn't know how to you get to them is bottom top left that gear icon go to online settings matchmaking options nowo location matchmaking should be on on for some reason people have this on off on default um I understand this is more for head-to-head but um this will use your IP um your internet address which is basically your location address uh to try to locate you someone that's near you to reduce the lay crossplay enabled now this is more for hackers okay now I know your PC players going to come at me oh don't turn this off we got no one else to play the truth is everyone on PC is hacking have you played draft on PC it's a shambles every other game you go into someone's leaving and you get instant loss okay if you're on if you're on Console turn crossplay off okay the truth is yes it would reduce the P if you're playing in Australia maybe you might have to turn it on cuz no one to play but if you're in Europe us the main countries where there's a lot of people playing the game realistically turn us on off the truth is there's just too many hackers inside the game um I'm not going to lie on PC everyone is just basically hacking and is there maybe a delay between playing on PC maybe I can't say for sure the one thing that you get is stutter delay now this is mainly for PC as well if you go over here to visual now the player um play style plus overhead indicators turn this on off um I think they fixed this now on consoles I'm not 100% sure and that don't quote me but turn this off if you're getting stutters inside the game it's because of this play style overhead indicators I believe it's fixed now but people on PC especially if you haven't updated your game are still getting those issues and the second thing you can turn off is going over to here here and it's turning off um H promotion Insight overlays this mainly for PC some people's graphics cards are not as good U if you're playing on Old gen it might have a bit of an impact as well um that is all the game things if you're playing on Playstation um I want to go over PC graphics game modes and stuff like that later on if you're playing on Playstation what you want to do is you want to basically turn um the game um the game play stuff so what you want to do is you want to change it to Performance mode uh performance mod is really really important it depends what console you're using um but generally speaking you want to put performance mode on um by default it it can when you choose the game um it should actually I just wrote it down in my notes but I just completely forgot um how to do it one second performance mode on PS5 you want to go here it is so what you want to do I'm going to show you now on a second screen so you want to go to home screen you want to go to settings you want to go to um save game and data here it is app and then you can see game presets um performance mode does really really help resolution mode is more for um better quality but for performance mode for FP especially on um if you are struggling with all the the other if you got the varable refresh rate or higher refresh rate you can you go to Performance mode you get it better is the frames locked different situation anyway but just put performance mode on help reduce delay and stuff like that and if second uh but we have a complete list on internet monitor settings how to increase that as well now internet itself the main one okay the truth is for the internet the most important thing is this okay this is called a cat R3 I don't know R32 I forgot the name of it but this is an ethernet cable okay if you're not using ethernet cable this will change the way you play if you're using Wi-Fi this is why you're struggling okay because Wi-Fi is dread for other games you can get away with this game you can't okay um you need to have an ethernet cable okay the best way to do this is to run Ethernet cable so imagine this is your router run ethernet C from your router and then just plug it straight into your PlayStation that is the best way to do it okay that is honestly the best way to do it if you can't try to get a long Ethernet cable like 10 m plug it from your router and if you got it all upstairs in your room like I have have it like that don't spend thousands trying to dig a wall just for fc24 okay if you upset like my mates are live with their misses they're upset cuz it looks it looks pretty appalling to have an an Ethernet c r through the house just do this whenever you want a plane you got no guess over just plug it in take it all the way upstairs and then plug into your console and then just put it away that way you can have it nice and tidy the second solution which is the most prominent solution I would say is using this a power ethernet canable now to give you a bit Insight I've been using bad internets good internets uni internet had my own internet like 5 megabytes download speed will go over what I have now in a second um this is the best solution if you use a power line internet cable it's very very simple what it is you have an ethernet cable know I think it's a better image over here hang on I think this is a better image over here so um the plug-in play one here um you can see for example here so what is one is it's like you have two plugs okay it goes through your power line so it depends what um plugs you have like obviously I'm in the UK so I got these ones but it's very very simple the way that it works one goes into imagine this is the router goes into your wall the other one uh goes into your bad your PlayStation and then that goes into the wall as well so basically you're using ethernet over um your power line um it's really really beneficial I'd highly recommend using it it's a very cheap solution you can get these honestly for like 20 quid the it's the cheapest solution to get if you don't want wiring but I know for some of you guys that live in Old flats or you have old circuit in your house this may not work but one of those two solutions should work either use a long Ethernet cable which is not ideal but this one keeps things seamless keeps things looking clean and you can run your ethernet through your power line adapt is probably the best way to go um I have a three I have had a 1 gabit business lease line up and down 1 gbit connection I can't do anything about delay okay I've done everything I could I've have a net Duma router um I've gone through I've checked what servers I've connected to I've done everything in my power I live quite close to the servers I live in London I've done everything and I can't fix delay now don't give me this excuse that oh I have bad delay we all have delay what do you think unless you're living in Germany which just a different situation alog together but we'll talk about it another day but the truth is um delay is very very important this is another account I'm not actually I keep saying this is ridiculous I'm not in division s I've got an account in every single division um to test the game play out that is how I make tutorials and that's how I understand what someon division 10 division 7 division 5 division 3 is doing um I they always say this cuz someone's like oh my God Neil are you in division five CU they see one account there but um I'm going to show you when you're searching for a game you're going to see I actually have a 3 gabit Connection up and down okay 3 gigabit connection up and down okay now you're going to see my ping is going to range 4 Ms oh my God you going to be like have I got clean connection no sometimes a 4ms is worse than a 20 Ms you won't know until you have it okay but you can see for example if I go into another game my ping is going to be 12 and this can go all the way up to 24 some at 30 as well if you want to when you go into a game try to avoid playing at 6 p.m. and try to go into a game where the bars connect very very quickly and it's a 4ms connection or whatever you get now you can now you go write down in the comment section oh my God NE that's why your tutorials work cuz you're on 4ms absolute nonsense I used to play on Wi-Fi on a 40in TV with low input delay on Wi-Fi connection with like 40 Ms on Wi-Fi and I was still a top day player so realistically speaking don't don't use the excuse oh it's cuz you got some amazing connection I'm sick and tired of hearing that excuse but you can try to find a low Ms to be honest I don't find I don't think it makes a difference truthfully speaking ethernet cable I still get speed up lag with a 3 GB internet connection the next thing is the lag that you see with your eyes Okay um this is ripped from my um FIFA School series is ripped from my FIFA School series um but um you can see here if you want to see more on this I got the whole FIFA School series but this explains you know TV monitor stuff like that if you're part patreon series you can see that as well um the truth is um TV monitor you want to get a monitor with low response time okay so low response time is what you want to get um you want to put on game mode um and stuff like that the truth is response time for your TV is the most important now there is a lot of expensive stuff out there you don't need anything if you're playing on a massive TV okay massive TV I've got a TV here you can now get this is a 4K TV 120 HZ um and it's got a 10 ms response time now 10ms is not the best but for a TV that's really good I used to play on a crappy 45 in uh 720p like 50ms response time that is where you can feel the real difference that is if you press the right analog stick on your controller by the time you see on your TV it's going to be delayed it's going to be delayed that's why you want to get a low Ms response time you want to get 1 ms now this TV cost me about £700 it's really expensive don't buy it you don't need to spend that money on a game I had before a 1080p 1ms response time you can buy a secondhand 1080p 1ms response time or 0.5 Ms response time for like 70 quid so if you have like let's say for example you have you don't you don't have space okay you can get a very very thin monitor that doesn't have speakers that you connect your headphones to you can get it for £50 £60 second hand on eBay eBay Market or Amazon Market the clear thing is 1 ms response time now because I play on PC I have in front of me I've got this monitor which is 4K and of course my job I have to I need this right but um I have 4K and I have um I believe it's 120 HZ if I'm not mistaken um so I play on sorry 2K 100 so I got 2K 140 so that's 216 so it's a 1440p should I say as you can see on the screen or 2K what's called and 120 HZ now does this make a grand difference in gameplay no maybe in resolution it looks a bit sharper it looks a bit better it doesn't really help me 120 HZ maybe on on PC is where you notice main the main Improvement but it just makes the game smoother but that is what I'd recommend doing um the second thing I wanted to mention as well is going over to here saved game it depends what console you're using and perform use performance mode that will help with um your performance inside the game loading Time stuff like that as well um I said for the monitors it does depend on how far you sit from your TV now I have here a 27 in um 24 Ben Q are the kind of the the real game mod the pros use I got 27 in I think 27 is better than 24 because I like a bigger real estate I use it for gaming as well for editing so if you want an Allin one I'd recommend 27 if you set arms length I think 4 is a bit too small um but bear that in mind the further you sit away um the bigger TV that you want I will be honest um I have a TV in front of me 4 is way too big if you're sitting right next to the TV I got one over here is way too big um so if you're sitting further away you may want to invest in like a cheap 50 6 monitor but again don't spend £800 for a gaming TV you're not going to notice a massive difference you don't believe me go buy this cheap monitor for £50 One MS respon time even 1080P and you would see that it's not it's going to improve your gamepl but it's not going to it's not going to be exponentially changing like you know people saying my taking my touch away maybe with this game play if you take a Touch Away you can see it quicker which can help you make a gameplay now unbelievable you know I cannot believe that I'm actually going over this but I actually have to okay now honestly some nonsense that I've seen in the comment section is unbelievable I'm sure it's just kids okay I'm sure there's no adult that thinks that okay but camera angles okay this depends on how far you sit from your TV long story short Co-op okay the further you sit away from your TV use better Zoom because obviously if you're using I'm sitting right next to my TV my monitor here so I can use zero Zoom that way I can see everything I don't have to move my head around look around if you are playing on the TV that's far away you might have to use 10 Zoom or if it's really far away you might have to use 20 this Co camera Ang angle gives you the most information as it lets you see everything I made a video on this already but it lets you see everything on a pitch now I've honestly some seen some absolute ludicrous nonsense claims here that Court makes your game play slower what a load of nonsense I mean honestly I just cannot really people believe this obviously when the camera is zoomed out the camera is only going to move like this it doesn't need to move that much if you use the dynamic camera angle the camera angle is going to move all the time you have to sway left and right because that is what cuz the camera angle gives you a perception that the game is slower so no of course do you think a camera angle can make one person's game slow and the other person's end is going to be quicker I mean I don't I can't believe I have to say this but I know most of you guys don't know know that's not the case but unfortunately there's a lot of people that actually think that but that's the thing if you want to make the game play appear faster to your to the naked human eye you can increase board tracking speed put it on 20 the game will feel quicker so if you're like to me on C hey n you know cop it just feels too slow for me even though I can see the most information just put the game uh track in speed on now the rest of stuff PC now I have a built-in PC do I honest I don't really play PC anymore uh FC put the graphics mode on um for your power settings on your on your computer you want to go over to your P go if you type you if you go here to power settings here um I'm going to show you here you're going to see a bit of a stream setion in a second uh one second I'm going to move this over here go to additional power settings over here and you want to create a high performance mode that is very very important if you are playing on PC um the second thing that you want to do as well when you're playing on PC is memory allocation you want to go to task manager as well and of course this will depend on the specs of your PC as well but let's say you have a game so let's say I have calculator um you can go go to details and let's say this is FIFA go to calculator wherever it is I'm just going to choose a random thing here I'm just going to use a photo thing here go set priority and then go to real time or high put on high that's the next thing that you can do and then the final things is um speed now I have a ryzen processor ryzen CPUs rely also on the ram speed okay so you need to make sure your RAM speed is 1010 so for example I'll show this I got issues with my PC I got to build a new one it's a long story when you the problem is when you're editing you need the best PC possible and this PC is just too slow so I got 64 you can see here I'm running at 266 uh 266 MHz um I know on ryzen 3.2 megahertz is probably the best 3.2 MHz probably the best for CPU uh speed as well and memory so not only does the clock very very important so is the memory speed um you can see here me idling I'm already got 80 I mean I need to get like 120 but um even though I've got 380 and I got a 5900 12 core processor um you can it's not really ideal and you can see here um I've actually got 2.5 gbit um built into the motherboard internet speed connection and I can pretty much download I'm just going to show you something quickly if I go here to Battlenet um I'm going to show you my internet speed I'm quick going log in one second bear with me here you can see B on it on the background bam I want to go here to games last played you can see Call of Duty you can see I'm updating you can see my bandwidth and you can see H I'm getting 100 Megs a second um but even even with like some God to internet connection what what the point I'm trying to say to you is even with a God to internet connection there's only so much you can do I've done everything in my power I've got a netdom my router I've selected custom servers I've done everything in my power I can't do anything extra um to basically get better internet um as best I can so that is the best you can do as I said look here the truth is guys the most important thing here is you need to use this a power line ethernet adapter um so all this is psychological so like cop camera angle being zoomed out it's actually better for your decision- making because you can see when the ball comes to you can see where players are in proximity to your player made a video on this as well you see in-depth video on my patreon series as well but the truth is this is the most important thing okay that's the best that you can do on your end you can spend like I have I don't talk about my how much my internet costs a month but I need it for business right you can get the best TV you can get the best monitor 1 ms response time you can get the best internet best cat eight cables you can get everything you possible and I'm telling you I spent thousands if not tens of thousands if I get delay you are going to get delay I've done everything in my power I can't stop delay but this would be the best solution to stop it all the way but for most of you this should be the Cure if you're on PC you may have to do some ad additional change as well um but that is how to fix your Internet connection and delay especially if you're struggling um thanks for watching take it easy and I'll catch you next
