i saw some of the rarest 34 gtrs and it looks like some things have you know exchanged and moved around and maybe been shipped overseas or whatever but uh dawson please tell me a little bit about yourself the shop and and what you guys do all right ladies and gents this is the stun i'm a director of the shop here and take care of all the international stuff and been shipping out a lot of not just these two that's right yeah so midnight ii usa import legal apparently say that again usa import legal so you can import a midnight purple 34 gtr to the usa right now respective issues yeah this is legal it has to be the v spec edition now there are some you know kind of things that limit you from driving it lots on the street um because it has to be show spec like a show version of a car right so funny thing is us has got this 25 year old rule which they don't allow used cars right yeah there's an exception for that yeah there's a show and displaying for regulations which lets you import a car if it's under 300 main and super rare right yeah but the funny thing is midnight purple 2 v-spec edition is made 282 and this one is respect it's been a purple 3 is like twice more rare yeah this one and this one is on in hdsa let's see polio this one is not it's not yeah so this one makes the cut this one's on the list so you can get one of these actually you know we have a friend i'm not going to drop his name but you guys know one of my close friends in the usa has a midnight purple 2 v spec 34 gtr and that's how he has it legally is because they are legally allowed to be little bit of a special story with this one so why don't you tell me about it yeah most of the cars have its own special story right including this one in particular this one is my great friend alex alex has got some of the coolest cars in the united states he's got lamborghini since he built he has been building his own bat mobile and everything oh wow that's kind of crazy if you really want it now i'm in the purple two but midnight purple three and yeah as you can see there's a good palette difference oh very different yeah this is like a donkey kind of it's hard to tell on camera but you can obviously see there's a massive difference between these two exactly and he's like the stan i know this is not usa port legal yet but i'm waiting i'm willing to wait for the next five years until tv comes in for legal find me one yeah since the scars we speculation only i think i mean less than 100 or so i think so rare it was really difficult to find one finally we find one and alex was like go get it man we found it from tokyo owner was a special person and he led us to basically purchase this car and the car looks absolutely stunning very beautiful car and congratulations to alex yeah and we will be starting here sam that's pretty cool wow until this thing becomes 25 years old unless we get this one included in nhda listen show in display import legal gtr yeah if they update it then you'll be able to do you want to pop the hood let's take a look at this engine bay this thing is it is beautiful probably the nicest example i have ever seen of a midnight purple 334 gtr right so this is midnight purple as you can see that but it comes with a special nismo uh aero parts as you can see that the z-tune fenders bumper of course the the bonnet and everything and of course the most special one comes with a garage defense which comes with our tag here yeah so that's a nice little plug garage defend actually make some really nice carbon uh cooling panels exactly right thank you very much no worries and of course the car looks beautiful absolutely no rest issues or whatsoever strat towers are perfectly clean underbody is perfect condition and i'm sure um so clean ones like this is extremely hard to find so hard to find anything like this shall we shall we jump start right away yeah sure let's let's start her up i'll get at the back so we can ah now you do it i want to hear the exhaust man i want to hear this note this titanium muffler looks so nice one day boys one day before we start yeah always disconnect the battery oh yeah yeah yeah that's a good idea so that the 34 compared to midnight purple 3 and when you see them side by side like this it's like insanely different insanely different and both of the cards are insane dti insane gtrs yeah you know like just like this almost looks black on camera and then you look at this and it's just oh so nice although i'd hate to scratch this and try to get it fixed one of the the most difficult paints to work with right you'll find the right guy for that perfect condition never repainted just so that you understand never repaint it of course when we bought the zten oh you guys put these on of course yes oh nice this one also comes with a detail finish as you can see that yeah which makes the car look really awesome you know it does as you can see that look at the color yeah yeah yeah dark green kind of matches a little bit with uh like the dark green blue pearl in the past these are the mines uh the rear mirrors look pretty awesome as you can see that they got this don't mind us guys we're just geeking out here yeah cool stuff both of our v-spec yeah therefore they come with respect diffusers and you know yeah those diffusers that are worth like fifteen thousand dollars if you break one very expensive everything is expensive here you know yeah and again sam we have a couple of indoor storage classes you understand yeah even this this yard has been very dynamic actually all the stars that you can see here were not here when he was this new year six months ago no no all of these cars have changed like i said probably the only one that still is is the tommy cairo right is that still here yeah yeah yeah but that'll always be here that's going nowhere they're working on a project sam and it's unbelievable look of course there are two cars usa import legal number one midnight purple 2 yep early 99 gtr 34 v spec and the other one is over there a couple of when we have mm-spec newer mel mj dtr34s next project car we are working on and it's going to be usa important pretty soon is again pearl white only one of the set i mean this is only one of the 75 ever manufactured m-spec mirrors yeah yeah also 2002 model all yours for manufacturing 2002 and this bad boy is going to pop up in the highways united states in 2023 once they are accepted from epa regulations oh wow they're getting close then this is going to be using polio pretty soon as well yeah so this is the thing that a lot of people need to understand is a lot of these top tier 34 gtrs we're not talking base models anything that had like under 300 made can make it onto that import legal list as show show cars right there is a list of cars in english they say yeah but if it's if for example this one is 75 made only right yeah you can apply foreign this card could be included in that yeah and it can be good if you do that it's under 300 yeah so as long as someone has the funds to go through and do all the tests and stuff like that to get all the paperwork done it can make it on the list and they will be able to import this before the 25-year law and sam if the time allows us to do that i will take you to nismo okay oh we are working on special project called clapping speak racing gtr 34c rs okay they are rarer than z tune and they are some of the most iconic jdm sports cars or gtrs that you never have and there's two cars right here yeah both of them are silver as you see that and they are super clean and high-conditioned cars they are base models for us okay they are both going to nismo and we will be getting them rebuilt as a crs it's going to be a two-year project and once they are done they are going to be absolutely legend there is no shop in the world right now has one series for sale yeah that's insane already lined up so this is the millennium jade one right exactly this they are is special cars bro super special this is a new club yeah nissan manufactured only 1 000 euros just like this yeah and although that 250 of them were m-spec years 750 was basically the seems like a lot more rare and out of that 250 sam only 144 were million jaden specular and they are usa in portland that's why they're legal yeah right far out man they're such an insane looking color this one is gold color gtr34 of course probably the cleanest lm in japan yeah this is another inspector right here dude it's so insane to see all this stuff cool cool stuff hey there's a tommy cairo one we saw 87. there's my fine spec engine final edition final edition it's the final nah after final edition he came up for that thing i know it was our special i know they do it all the time in japan you know usually sam just so that you understand if you don't let anyone pick out one of those cars for a drive but you being the special sam okay all right test drive test drive i'm so excited about driving this this is like how rare are these how rare are these you know how many all of them total m specs were manufactured how many only 366. 360. 66 66 and right now you're looking at one of the only 366 manufactured m specs wow and black though how many in black how many kilometers is this one done very rare very rare okay and this one has got 40 something thousand kilometers which translates to be about 20 something thousand miles wow pretty cool right so low mileage m spec 34 gtr in black i mean you have to give a you know pop that hood everything is pretty much stock as you can see there oh my gosh so you only sell cleanest stuff as you understand sam and of course this m spec being one of the cleanest this is beautiful all right we might need to talk about pricing and everything yeah but that cleans up that's fine yeah all right well i'm gonna set up the gopro we're gonna take this for a drive but how much is this for sale for this is for sale 460 or 160 000 okay 170 000 usd but because i'm the special sam maybe like 50 grand or something i wish i could have it for free he said it here he said it here you're having it right now that lady was like right i was like oh well yeah we kind of were like standing in the middle of the road my bad anyways i'm going to set up the camera we're going to take this out for a rip now i'm not going to jump on this don't worry last time you let me test drove a car yeah remember remember remember the bathurst yellow yeah yeah and we got the rear wheels spinning don't worry i'm not going to do that on this car that was actually accidental i was like all right let's just you know run it through the rpms and then it slipped out because it had some old kind of dry tires on it dude this feels incredibly smooth for like what a 22 year old car now yeah this thing is going up in hawaii like crazy yesterday it was sold for homework sam uh hundred and 160 grand roughly wasn't it less than percentages yeah plus 10 sales tax [Music] it's crazy how quiet it is like does this have a stock exhaust yeah mostly stock all right bring it up a bit more so smooth on acceleration i love it brakes feel really good yeah the shifter feels amazing i'm not surprised to get dragged those things feel so good the little like reverse lever is a nice touch sam as you understand cars like that are going up in value and that's going to be a trend for any time you're going to use in portland but right now cars like that is 160 under 70 000 usd you think it's worth it i mean that's a that's an interesting question like is it worth spending that kind of like i have supercar money on something like this right if you think about it from uh purely a car to get from a to b perspective you know it's an old car it's 22 years old parts are you know getting harder to find or more expensive and finding someone to work on this kind of stuff um i would think like if you look at it like that point of view no but if i look at this car as a you know a collector's car something that is just like that inspired inspired my childhood and made me you know do what i'm doing today hell yeah it's worth it it's got it comes with the history and the history yeah the heritage dominant yeah sports car yeah one of the best engines that nissan ever made in my opinion the best sounding engine in existence i think a lot of people can agree with that you know it makes up for it it makes up for it yeah as long as you understand all of that and you're into cars i think this car is worth it you know it's definitely a very niche customer base right yeah if you think about it these days of course at our channel your channel as we mostly focus on japan side of everything and jdm sports cars a lot of people think that these days like you know jdm's going up they are going up in hawaii of course but if you consider european sports cars for that matter as well let's say force and everything else they are going up on value so badly so much right now they used car market i think since uh the pandemic started there was an article i read it's gone up on average like 13 15 now you have to understand something like i mean most people have to i'm economist by degree six years i did my master's clone supply and demand and everything one thing we have to understand you know when the governments are printing unlimited amount of money because of the pandemics yeah japan u.s europe everyone is doing that that some money has to go somewhere you know what i mean yeah yeah and there is inflation 100 if you look at commodities like everything everything or like iron ore everything is going up in valley you know and that being our sports cars that's what's causing classic cars that you can invest they are going up in value as well and this thing has to do definitely the inflation is really the same yeah nice let's go this way actually go this way okay yeah like even on the side roads like the bumps and stuff like that i'm quite surprised it still has factory suspension yeah yeah mostly stuck still mostly stunned it's crazy that like a 22 year old car feels good like it's definitely a driver this is this is just unbelievably good bro right yeah right this is unbelievable for the age exactly this car is a legend bro oh for sure it's godzilla man well i mean the 32 is technically godzilla i know there will be some purists that will say that but this for me is godzilla all right we're gonna i'm gonna open her up a tiny bit just like first through second like this isn't it's pure stock form and it feels so good and all the data that like you get on the multi-function display the steering input everything it feels good it's a driver's car you could definitely jump in this stock and enjoy it but you know compared to some of the newer like sports cars now like this is pretty slow in comparison nowadays right but being stuck right yeah being stuck it's great it's so easy to monitor back to my show once my crs ready all right can you tell me that all right for a drive sounds good yeah yeah don't get me wrong like these things are easy to modify make good power and make them fast but yeah yeah and it's stock form it's just like it's still a fun car it's just definitely not as fast as like like a porsche 911 turbo or something like that you know but once you do your you know upgrades a little bit yeah spend a bit of money on it but i beat those porsches so badly bro oh so bad launch this thing shoot flames and everything it's probably going to be very hard on the gopro for you guys to tell but like you know just putting it into a lower gear stepping on it it's very good there's hardly any transient lag the twin turbos do the job really well one day i'm gonna own one of these yeah one day definitely bro you should one it feels like um it's so salty for me because like i had a 34 gtt in australia really nice white one yeah and it was kind of like my you know back then my thought was this is my stepping stone to getting a gtr and back then you know a no was sixty thousand dollars yeah that's what i mean um but obviously now that's like add another 100 another 200 grand to that you know so like for me it was just so bittersweet to have a gtt be kind of halfway there and then moving to japan selling that and everything like that and now like the pricing it's so bittersweet but obviously i'm in such a unique position now where i think the goal is achievable especially with you guys watching supporting me and watching my content sharing my videos what you're telling me sam reminds me of danny danny here yeah danny howarton i think and he's such a cool man he's a great friend of mine he had a dream of owning a gtr 34 bayside blue and we got him in newark he actually bought a v-spec junior and that's one of the best and cleanest respect in yours right now in north america he's storing it in canada right now and he will be actually bringing the car back to the united states in 2027. he's such a great man he had the own the dream of owning a gtr 34 he had this specific budget but at the end he was able to buy uh you know respecting you all together but that kind of thing that was so cool that's the goal man yeah right after he bought the car newer started going freaking crazy you know what i mean he got in at the right time yeah just perfect time perfect time perfect
