Dollar tree travel coffee Tumbler

[Music] welcome back this uni crew it's sugar you know you're coming on baby a little bitty different as usual um i watched this dude channel he did some coffee cups he suffered he used the technique that i used uh with the laminated paper and the vinyl and he sublimated on coffee cups from dollar tree so um i think i'm going to try that technique but i want to see if i can sublimate on glitter paper i know i can supplement on glitter paper and get that twisted but i want to see can i do it with the laminating sheets now i have been playing around with a lot of it y'all know that yourself to where i noticed that the laminating paper came off my other cups because i didn't seal it now my lighters are still holding up but i don't understand why still haven't figured it out and then the 651 and the um 631 is totally different and it did seem like the lighters held longer and i even tried to pull the lemonade paper up it didn't come up off those at all so i don't know y'all i'm still learning but you know it's mostly made for paper anyway i noticed that when i do it with the shipping labels with the laminating paper it holds perfect the lemonade paper don't come up or not it's really onto the paper so i'm like okay we're going to try a glitter paper this is a sticker paper by silhouette that you can buy from hobby lobby um probably michael's i think i got this one from michael's not saying it's gonna work i'm just trying so don't quote me on this and be holland you know asking all these police questions and i'm just trying i'm also going to be using the asa paper an image of my choice now i don't know the template size as you can see right now i'm just printing and i'm going to try this is regular copper paper and print now i ain't wasting my good stuff and i'm still wasting ink by doing this part i don't know the typical side uh just yet i'm just printing out stuff and i'm gonna just keep trying um if you push on the shovel i just had to buy a template from that man that posted it but i'd rather figure it out sometime on my own you know me it's printing out now i feel like it need to be a little longer i cannot seem to get that template to fit long as i needed to on the cup it seemed just a tad shorter than what i needed to be but it is what it is we're just gonna we're gonna run with it because i'm y'all i'm tired and i just want to see where to work and if it does work i will come up with better solutions for the template you know and i've got uh if this size work i will try to link their size up in the description so i'm gonna go ahead and put my easiest paper in there and um i'm printing on sublimation paper now y'all so that's what i'm about to do i'm gonna go ahead and print this into that you just see me pull out on a regular copper paper this is regular copper paper i just wanted to see would it fit but so far it don't look like a wheel but y'all like i said i'm tired so we just gonna run with it long story short um this is what the glitter paper looked like for the silhouette and we got a ace of paper there's submission paper in the printer already so we're gonna print our image on the sublimation paper and then i'm going to press this uh laminating sheet on top of the glitter that they cool by tying this come out the printer i'm going to press that on top so of course you know to pull it apart and i will link that dude channel down below so y'all can see what he did um it seemed like he won't be pretty good channel to watch he'd be explaining stuff good which i had already done the technique but he did it on a coffee cup like a whole coffee cup i kind of did something like that before but i thought it was cool so i thought i shot him out long story short let's go over here so a couple sheets of paper i'm not saying it's gonna work but hey we shall see there's only one way to find out wanna know let's try so i'm gonna put this down here and remind you this is thicker paper the shipping label is also sticker paper um and then it does get back sticky after the fact but i haven't tried it with this one with the laminating pepper now that i can recall i think i did though i think i did i think i did i think i think i did it on uh what you want to call it dominoes make sure you put the shiny side upwards and then uh lay it on there and just press and just put a couple sheets between it my heat press is uh set i think i don't know what to say on y'all i ain't never said this thing before day in my life when i got out the box it was already set the time we'll see all that good stuff i don't touch nothing i promise you though uh my baby showed me how to push that button to stop the time that's all i know but you see what the heat is on there so and you see it getting bubbles in there but i always just rub it i always rub it to make it stay down onto the um paper underneath that's what i do that's all i do and then i let it come up and i let it cool that is it and then when the um image get through i'll come back and press but i always usually press it longer than that but tonight i'm just really tired yeah okay i guess i pressed it like six seven seconds and my heat press is pretty hot so i'm gonna let this pull and uh other things should be coming out of there and the reason why i use the laminating pepper is because i want to see if it'll be waterproof yeah you can use glitter uh for sublimation but it's paper at the end of the day so if you wet it it's not gonna um stay and i just wanna see if it'll stay well it'll come out like you know i mean i'm just gonna press it and i'm press that for like supposed to do a 60 seconds but like i said it's a sticker paper i'ma just press until i feel like it's over there but just gorgeous bring it back over here let it cool as you can see it's gorgeous you'll see that good let me turn the flash off see what they do okay so right now [Applause] it's cooling down [Applause] i'm just gonna get my scissors and i'm gonna cut it a little bit make sure it's on yeah and i'm just gonna cut yes you can use a cricut i just didn't want so i just want to see what it look like i'm just working okay okay there you can see i don't know what's up with the template yeah i'm gonna figure it out y'all know you're gonna figure it out so i feel like if you're gonna do a solid pattern like this you can always go back and watch my other video i did i had um covered a cup and a vinyl and then i did it hung and i used the exacto knife to go over here and i use this as the line the bottom up but but hey it is what it is okay let's see gorgeous if i figured it out it's pretty it's gonna be gorgeous of course i feel like i still had to seal it with something just to hold these edges because it's still the paper um on top of laminating paper look at that i just wanted to see it would it work and now it looks amazing he brought that glitter out a whole lot more fast stuff is i don't know the size of the template need more to go here more down here but overall what do you think i think it's pretty darn cute okay [Music] is coming up because of how i have it but if you get some double-sided tape and put it down down the seam and put it down that those side tape should really hold it real good to me it should but i haven't done it but clean it up to get the cut with nothing on it so that's what [Applause] wow [Music]
