looks for the next Target oh it's gorgeous me [Music] real the most important aiming skills in tactical Shooters has to be micro Corrections and with I guess an honorary Shadow can go to click timing as well mro Corrections let's just Define what that is first is really just these small flicks just having a command of of like small flicks like just being able to kind of accurately adjust your mouse in these small spaces that's really all it is it's a command of that skill now when we say Corrections it's usually because we also add in this this element that okay I'm going to flick to the Target and I'm off so to correct flick them on flick them off so I got to correct after those initial flicks potentially so that we can be accurate and so you always get two chances to actually kill your opponent with those two movements um and if the micro is really like very skilled you'll you pretty much always kill the opponent off of the second movement at least that's the idea but it's also important because so many situations in tactical FPS games you you you already have the Crosshair like basically very close to where the opponent is going to be so with all of that said um let's go into some ideas as to like how you can train your flicking technique and your your micro technique getting high quality flicking skill means that we should really start to understand all of the parts of the movement we should understand how like the is working for us or is not working for us and and all of these different Dynamics so we know what focuses we should have when we're training and what we're trying to get out of the training right behind me is currently bardos doing The Bard pill method that he created essentially and it's nothing too complicated it is a flick followed by a micro correction there is one more element though we also have to use on brain and we must focus on the hit confirm so that we know we're on target before we actually shoot and there are a couple reasons why this particular part is really really important and that is because it is one a part of the whole technique because the idea is that we're not just fast and accurate but we're able to really make sure we don't miss at all and if you're playing a tack shooter you need to make sure you never miss and when it is habituated in that flicking technique that you're always kind of using your brain to kind of confirm if you're on target or not when you transfer that into game you're going to improve that fundamental and when you get tired that's normally when the fundamentals will drop and for a lot of people the energy to focus on hit confirming their targets definitely starts to go down pretty quickly and that really can hinder aiming performance so as you can see when I slow this clip down to 50% you can just about make out the micro Corrections because bardos is so good at that initial flick that you don't even see really if he's micro correcting or not when it's going at full speed but that is because he has spent so much time grinding the technique [Music] tension management is so important in flicking technique in aiming technique in general but in flicking technique is what we're going to be talking about in this video so when you're going to be doing a fast Snappy flick you're going to need a lot of energy to do that and so that energy becomes a lot of tension like high tension in your arm so you snap and flick and boom you hit the target hopefully maybe if you miss you need to make sure that you remove the tension towards the end of the movement so that you have just enough tension to control the stop because depending on how much friction you have on your surface it may be easier or harder to actually stop the mouse where you need it to stop I use an ice mat so it's very low friction so I actually need a bit more tension to make sure I can actually get that stop where I needed to go and then you want to have an as little tension as possible when you're on the Target because you want to be able to micro adjust and just micro correct with as much fluidity and control as possible and you can't really do that properly when you have too much tension in your arm so having this awareness of how much tension is in your arm in each movement in each part of the flick is really important and when you find those sweet spots for you you can start really habituating those and you then it's going to start to feel really really good once you get that habit going Dynamic clicking is super effective in my opinion at training click timing you're going to be training a couple other things as well and in these types of tasks you can actually train loads of different skills if you want to but I would advise for our purposes for this video for TAC FPS players to try to focus on three things Focus one on click timing two the predictive flick and three the micro correction so you'll be seeing Mato W just like killing it in the background here showing us how to do this at a high level but you can see he's following that formula more or less he's trying to read the movement of all of the targets on the scenario he flicks predictively so he gets his Crosser ahead of the movement of the target the movement path of the Target and then when the target moves into his Crosset he then clicks and this is the very important aspect that can transfer super well to Tac FPS because there's so many scenarios where an opponent will move in front of your Crosshair and all you have to do is just click because maybe they don't even know you're there and they're just running in a straight line but there's loads of other scenarios where you're holding angles and and otherwise where all you just need to be able to do is Click when they go behind your Crosshair and it's sounds simple but honestly it's quite hard and I I really want you guys to not spam you're going to want to spam click but don't do it this is why we're playing this task it is to try to make sure that our shots are intentional which has also been a theme of this video so enjoy Matty just destroying this task in the background the P you task and uh I hope you guys enjoy the dynamic clicking task as well [Music] now if you're hungry to start aim training after watching this video and and you've got your focuses kind of dialed in you want to get to work I would always recommend beginners just give a go to the voltaic benchmarks because they've got quite a lot here for you especially if you're a tack FPS player and so to begin with just go to app. voltaic Dogg and then you can enter in your aim lab's nickname and then you will be confronted with the benchmarks and so at the top here on the far left you've got the voltaic aim lab benchmarks which is what I've been primarily trying to work on and I haven't really gone through the valerant ones which I probably should because my scores on this intermediate one are all over the place but I definitely recommend this and you know as we've talked a lot about tack Shooters in this video this is a great playlist for that because you will have as you can see almost everything relating to all of the stuff we've been talking about the flick Tech all of the flicking skills that we've covered you have only four tracking tasks so it really goes to show that it is also the volic community that agrees that in valerant in Counter Strike the most important aiming skills are all flick related so I feel validated by seeing that so give it a go you know you can track your scores they update immediately after you play the task and that's one of the things that I kind of like about this it's just so straightforward for beginners so give it a try thank you for watching and I hope you guys were able to take away some cool stuff that's going to help you in your training and also obviously in your in-game performance as that's what really is all about now if you want to support me please subscribe like share comment all of that good stuff and you can also check out my patreon as well that's also a great way to support me and finally I as always would love to hear any comments or feedback that you guys have obviously I went pretty hard going uh into the editing Journey for this one and I definitely look to I think continue to do that to try to step up my content game and all the support is always appreciated it so thank you very much and I'll see you guys on the next one cheers
