GO Hi Guys. This is what i got from the scrap market this time. It's a 24V Permanent Magnet DC Motor. The brand is Tokushu Denso and it's made in Japan. But the bad news is that it's completely jammed, the shaft and gear is rusted. So i will have to open it up, rectify the problem and then assemble it back again. Let's see if it works. Now guys, it doesn't matter how hard i try to turn it. It's not going to turn because it's completely jammed. And my experience tells me that it was hammered. Now guys there are 2 more nuts left this one and this one. But there's one problem This piece is not going into the slot that they have provided. Like it's a little bigger. So i think i'll have to chip out the outer section with my lathe machine. So guys this is the armature & as you can see that the copper wire used for the armature is very thick. So it's going to produce high amperes if used as a generator & it seems perfectly fine. There's no problem neither with the commutator nor with this bearing. & the armature also looks really new. Except for one problem that as i said, it's completely jammed. It's very tight. I think i'll have to hammer it up a little. A little better. I don't want to go too hard on it because i don't want to damage this bearing. It's working really nice. Let's try pushing the armature. So guys after performing the shaft pushing step with my drill press, you can see that it's working really nice now. The bearings are quite smooth. Although there's another problem. You see this shaft. This has also been hammered. So it's going to be difficult for me to take out this piece. I think i'll have to cut it off with my hacksaw. DC Voltage Okay 26 Volts DC Once again 31 Volts DC Max Now guys we are done with the voltage measurement. Let's move on with the current testing. As you can see on the display the pointer is at 600A current measurement mode. And here we have zero Ampere DC Also i have used this extra wire to short circuit these 2 wires and place the wire through the clamp. So that it can read the generated current. You see! So let's do some rope testing Okay 7.5 Amperes easily! One last time. So 15A was the max that i could do. But actual current generation capability is going to be much higher. Now guys here i have this 12 Volts car headlamp bulb.
