this is my body to be broken for you let us open the eyes of our heart the eyes of our faith and see the face of jesus in the holy eucharist the lord whispering in the heart of every one of us this is those who believe in him may not perish but dear friends we now we are perishing every one of us we are concerned we are bothered we are frightened of the situations around us the problems we are the mother of the son of god on this earth you and i we will enter into the mystery of salvation when we give our life in the hands of god as humble servants and handmaids of the lord we want to ask for god's mercy that we may have the grace always at every moment to surrender our lives in the hands of god always doing god's will perhaps in the past every time we rejected god's grace god's offer of salvation we became opaque to the mystery of salvation god could not use us god could not fill us with the holy spirit but mother mary offered her life in the hands of god that's when the holy spirit came upon her god could not give us the holy spirit because we closed our hearts against god's grace like adam and eve we rejected god we want to ask god's pardon for every such moment and we want to ask god's mercy that we may be able always to open our lives for god to come in for the holy spirit to come in the holy spirit comes in to fill us with the joy and peace and love of god if there's no joy in our hearts if there's no peace in our lives if there's no peace in our families it's not because of the circumstances now it's only because we have not offered our life to god opened
