Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I'm so glad they included the clips of the speach! And I agree with him, while her comment didn't personally rub me the right way there's no reason to bring negativity into a conversation about peace and acceptance.
I actually see the sides of this, Lily just made an off-hand statement probably without thinking much and ARMYs are already tired from media and producers alike saying BTS only have 12 years old fan girls.
But I also feel Phil shouldnโt have really focused on that on his show considering there wasnโt even that much backlash about it to LIly, not a lot of ARMYs even cared about it. But thatโs just my opinion.
The thing is why bring it up when it adds nothing of value to what she was going to say further on. I understand that it was kind of a way to transition from rmโs speech to herโs but like damn she should have gotten a ghostwriter or something.
I honestly thought Lily meant girls were at home crying because Namjoon's speech was so powerful (also because bts is at the UN, but mostly because of the speech). I thought that because someone wrote they were crying because of the speech on the youtube live chat LOL.
But idk what to think about what she said now. Just decided not to really care, its only a big deal if you turn it into a big deal in this case.
I love Lilly, I do.. I watch all her videos.. But I'm an Army as well.. and sometimes I feel like she kinda looks down on BTS's fans.. she's offhandedly mentioned it a couple of times in her videos as well.. things like don't talk bad things about BTS or their fans will come at them..
It's not her fault tho - the armies are super protective.. but.. who isnt to their idol? I'll still love Lilly.
