led by the spirit build up literally the the the anti-resistance anointing that comes you get an anointing to kill giants because you took on some giants armor of god it's time to get discipled it's of discernment i want to share a little bit going all the way back to january 1 what god has been revealing to me about this year and what i believe we're seeing play out even in the world behind us you can follow us online but we've been let know this weekend that we're probably about to be shut down online because we're being censored how many of you know you get shut down online when you think donald trump could still win the presidency i'm really not kidding but you can always go to our website and get on our email list you're seeing people flock to parlor you're going to see probably a lot of liberal media outlets totally come after anyone that's conservative it's not conspiracy theory it's literally happening before our eyes so if you want to stay updated uh moving forward jeremiah is probably the best way if you have in your bibles i want to just mention a few scriptures as we jump into the gift of discernment i believe the gift of discernment could be the greatest need in the body of christ today and on january 1 of 2020 this year i released a prophetic word for 2020 called the mystery of the wheat and the tares and i had a dream on december 28th of last year 2019 that i'm going to read to you but i want us to understand that discernment understanding is very important you might know some of these passages in first chronicles chapter 11 if you go there just real quickly first chronicles um chapter 12 verse 32. i'm going to lay just a little bit of foundation first chronicles 12 32. it says the sons of issachar were men who understood the times with knowledge of what israel should do so if someone were to ask you what time is it they're not saying 701 pm they're asking you to discern what is god doing and what is he saying in the earth and i mentioned this morning at service we get our discernment from the word of god not social media we get discernment we get understanding in the counsel of the lord jeremiah in his day he said who has stood in the council of fox news oh he didn't say that he said who has stood in the counsel of the lord to hear and receive his word god is looking for sons and daughters of issachar in america who are going to stand in his counsel to hear and receive his word this tribe called issachar one of the 12 tribes they not only understood the signs of the times but they knew what israel must do and so when the gift of discernment begins to operate in your life it just doesn't have to do with hearing it has to do with obeying many people only focus on hearing god at the expense of obeying god a lot of people you can't hear his voice because you have no intention of obeying what he's going to say the hebrew understanding of listen samuel said here i am speak lord for your servant is listening the hebrew understanding is to listen with the intent of obeying has god ever spoken to you and you said well how about another door has god ever spoken to you and he said how about another option if we're going to position ourselves to hear from the lord and really hear his voice we have to enter into his counsel with a heart that says lord whatever you're about to speak to me i'm going to act on it regardless if it if it differentiates if if it's different than what's going on around me so this tribe issachar was very important then in the book of daniel daniel 11 32 sometimes i get them confused first chronicles 12 32 and then daniel 11 32 it says this but the people who know their god will display strength and take action and those who have insight among the people will give understanding to many those who have insight among the people will give understanding to many so in the book of chronicles in the book of daniel it's very important that we recognize that the gift of discernment the gift of understanding if harnessed correctly can be a great blessing to not only your life but to the lives of others how many of you know the blessing of discernment when somebody knew that that person you were about to marry was the wrong guy i don't know how often we've been around the gift of discernment that doesn't go with mainstream that doesn't go with the status quo because many times when the gift of discernment is operating and you're seeing things that are not seen in the natural but the supernatural it's going to upset people i believe that when the gift of issachar this anointing is functioning in a group of people they're going to have to be ready to take action because god is going to call on them in critical hours in history i believe that this anointing this gift of discernment is perhaps the greatest need that we have in the earth today so this dream that i had last year december 28 2019 i was praying about 2020. this is pre-coveted this is pre-anything and i have this dream that i published online i want to read it to you i had a dream where i found myself in a parking lot following a uniformed officer who was handing out parking tickets i could not believe how many tickets this gentleman was handing out for illegal parking when i inquired about what was happening he turned to me and said most of these cars do not have authorization to park here although they look like they do confused because of the amount of cars he ticketed i said well do any of these cars have authorization to park here he replied only those who have passed an internal certified inspection my job depends on the ability to distinguish between the cars who look the part on the outside from those who have actually passed the state standard from the inside in other words what the holy spirit was revealing to me that not everything that looks great on the outside is actually great has that ever been your experience have you ever bought a lemon talking about a car that looked great on the outside but something was broken on the have you ever dated a lemon trying to loosen you guys up have you ever just assumed have you thought no big deal and then all of a sudden you find yourself getting into a situation or a circumstance where things are not as they seem i thank god for discerning people unfortunately it's rare to find it in men and all the women said amen honey i told you don't do that don't buy that honey and men we just go ahead and do that and get slapped upside the head every time so at the end of 2019 i wake up from this dream and i deeply sense that i was supposed to research fake news i wrote here at the end of 2019 if you don't believe me it's online jeremiahjohnson.tv i wrote i believe we are about to witness the emergence of a false company of voices in the earth especially in the media who will appear qualified to speak at first glance but upon further study and of that investigation will show themselves not approved so i began to research fake news at the end of last year and i want to read you two things that i found from the atlantic.com i quote the rise of fake news in the american popular conscience is one of the remarkable growth stories in recent years just a few years ago that phrase fake news was absolutely meaningless but today according to a new pew research study americans rate fake news as a larger problem than racism climate change or terrorism americans rate fake news this is last year folks americans rate fake news a larger problem than racism climate change or terrorism from science magazine i quote there is a worldwide concern over false news and the possibility that it can influence political economic spiritual and social well-being to understand how false news spreads i'm still quoting we used a data a data a data set of cascades on social media from 2010 to 2017. about a hundred and twenty six thousand rumors were spread by three million people without exception false news reached and was shared by more people than the truth after the study i'm still quoting we are convinced that in today's social media world lies spread much faster than the truth 2019 so on january 1 of this year god speaks to me as soon as i wake up and i wrote it down and i'm going to read what god spoke to me january 1 of this year it's a little bit long but i'm just going to put it out in the atmosphere this is what god said to me the body is entering into an era where the ability to discern the difference between the true and the false will become increasingly difficult the next decade will be marked by harvest yet my people must understand that with harvesting comes an exposing of deception the tares and a love for truth like never before the wheat at times that which is manufactured and counterfeit will be passed off as genuine and trustworthy just as that which is anointed and appointed by god will be seek to be passed off as false there is a satanic assault being loosed in the body to confuse and bring great disillusionment to the saints concerning those leaders in whom they can trust a bearing of false witness against the brethren shall rise remember i hate a false witness that speaks lies and the one who sows discord among the brethren proverbs 6. you must take great pains in these days to become lovers of the truth buy it and do not sell it proverbs 23 23 those who love the truth in the last days will be the most hated be very careful in your discerning that you do not become hasty in your judgments even now there are individuals that you should be in relationship with that you are not because you have been given a false witness report about them just as there are many people you are connected to that you must cut off if you are to love the truth more than your personal preference because of this intense season of harvesting over the next decade i'm calling my people up higher i'm calling them into my counsel i must root and ground them in my word without spending time in my presence you will never be able to discern the true and the false the wheat and the tares how we doing does this sound familiar does this sound like 2020 i was sitting in my hotel room this afternoon being reminded of the lord of what he spoke earlier this year and how stunning and how shocking this has truly played out if you follow us online i refer to the lying media as the false prophets of baal because i believe in america the lying media has become the false prophets of baal and they have made it their job to extinguish anyone that does not go along with their narrative and there is a great oppression that's in the land that i believe will only increase in the days ahead how many of you are familiar with matthew 13 where jesus tells the parable of the wheat and the tares just raise your hand if you're familiar okay maybe half of you okay i won't read it but but let me just go over it quickly jesus tells the parable about the wheat and the tares and he tells a story about these two things growing up together and in the time of harvest the farmer wants to uproot the tares before the wheat but the wisdom of god says let them stay together until the time of harvest and then in the time of harvest you'll be able to discern the wheat from the tares the reason why you can discern the wheat from the tares is when they're harvested i'm going to give you a picture but i actually believe that it's very foundational to our lives right now in america in the time of harvest if it's a tear it will stand straight up but if it's a wheat it will bow down if you look at harvesting as a type of correction as a type of rebuke as a type of truth if a person is a terror they will not bow down in humility but they will operate in arrogance and pride but if a person or a situation is a wheat when there is an exposing that comes they will bow themselves below and seek forgiveness we need to be on the lookout for a tremendous harvest in 2020 and over the next decade but we also need to be aware of those who will respond to correction in humility versus those who will grow arrogant and prideful over being exposed one of the things that i've learned over the last 12 years of full-time ministry is that immature and rebellious people look exactly the same on the outside but it's how they respond to correction that determines what's inside immature and rebellious people look the same on the outside but it's how we choose to respond to correction that will determine what's on the inside what if one of the greatest things that's going to expose where you and i are at in the days ahead is not when people applaud but when we see receive correction how many men in here your favorite corrector is your wife now we're bringing it home how many of you recognize that we need correction how many of you recognize we need truth we need a people that operate in the gift of discernment that are able to help us see through a narrative that's false and speak truth even if we don't like it what does the bible have to say about correction very seeker friendly will make you feel very good are you ready proverbs 12 1 whoever loves correction loves knowledge but he who hates correction is stupid what does the bible have to say about people who don't like correction they're stupid proverbs 15 13. whoever ignores correction hates himself it's quiet in here i suck the air out of the room whoever ignores correction hates himself but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence proverbs 29 15 the rod and correction give wisdom but a child left to itself brings shame to its mother i believe in 2020 that we're in this special season of the we and the tares where god is coming to check the motivation and intentions of our hearts and we're going to have to grow in discernment to understand what in our lives needs to be corrected and what does not but there is a man named dutch sheets does anybody know dutch dutch has a lot to say about correction he has a lot to say about discernment and what dutch says in the body of christ is that we don't even try to discern we have no interest he says in trying to discern the false and the true let me read you something from him he says we the leaders of the charismatic community have operated in extremely low levels of discernment frankly we don't even try to discern we assume we assume a person's credibility based on gifts charisma the size of their ministry or whether they can work miracles we leaders in the charismatic church have become no different in the world around us concerning our standards for measuring success and greatness through our lack of discernment we have built stages and given many platforms we have been gullible beyond words gullible leaders produce gullible sheep could you just close your eyes for for one minute just feel feel prompted to do this god i'm asking right now holy spirit that you would remove any blinders any veils any hindrances any obstacles out of our lives that are causing us not to discern correctly lord we need to know what you're doing in america right now we really need to know what you're doing in our world we need you we need you to reveal what's happening on our marriage in our family we need you to alert us to what's fake and what's true lord there are business people in here marketplace people that are desperate to know should they buy it or not there are relationships in here we need to know should i marry her or not should we date or not lord i'm just asking that you would release the gift of issachar in this room that you would raise up a discerning people let me ask you by a show of hands how many of you have recognized in your life the price you've paid because you didn't discern probably most of us that are older would would you feel like you need to rally some young people right now and say hey listen listen listen let me tell you some stories some mistakes that i made i just there is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to his destruction if we as believers are just operating in a realm of a flesh and we're making decisions and we're watching the news and we're just absorbing a world around us that's disconnected from the holy spirit and the word of god we're in serious trouble in fact i'm going to tell you it's impossible to rightly discern if we're not walking in the holy spirit and we're not rooted and grounded in the word of god it's impossible to have discernment concerning what's going on in america if you're spending more time on social media than in the word of god it's really easy to find that out if you have an iphone it's called screen time got people uh brother i've got discernment you've been on your phone 12 hours today how are you discerning how do you know who to vote for biden or trump how how can you tell me that you know for certain that there's voter fraud or not if you're not hooked up to the holy spirit well fox said well cnn well and most of what we're consuming in america has so little to do with the word of god so little to do with the holy spirit that if god were to come and confront us with the truth would we be so grounded to personal preference and allegiance that we would just straight up ignore his warnings what if god has been trying to sound an alarm and wave his hands in america and say wait wait wait what if prophets have been trying to sound the alarm for years in this nation but we're blinded by deception so if you're taking notes let me give you three points about how do we grow in discernment the word discernment comes from the greek word anacrino a-n-a-k-r-i-n-o this is what it means to discern to separate or distinguish to examine to scrutinize to question to judge wait a minute so if someone just comes out and makes a statement online if we're going to discern we're going to have to question we're going to have to examine we're gonna have to research we're gonna have to in other words i free you from swallowing hook line and sinker everything the media is telling you you do not have to be a victim of the all-out confusion and insanity that you are being bombarded with in america i give you permission as sons and daughters of god operating in real discernment that there is nothing wrong with you if you don't want to take something at face value how we doing like you mean i don't have to like and share like as soon as something pops up and makes me feel good but you know satan is smart don't you what if our discernment is polluted what if you're on social media and they're going to fact check you based off of an agenda see what if social media has an agenda and they're only concerned with truth that fits their narrative so all of a sudden social media is going to investigate facts based on a personal preference or agenda and whether something is true or not no longer matters to them because they have an agenda versus what if we investigate what if we search what if we question with the motivation and intention of lord even if i'm wrong i'll bend down and repent see this is what i'm talking about about the wheat and the tares i'm talking about discerning and investigating and questioning where when we really find out the truth we've got to be humble enough to admit if we're wrong see you're listening to someone tonight who prophesied with many others that donald trump would win reelection do you realize you're talking to someone that might have to get up in front of a nation and publicly repent false prophet liar deceiver fleecing the sheep i've got three thousand emails in my inbox right now if they move forward and joe biden is elected 46th president i've got a decision am i going to act like it didn't happen or am i going to own up to it and repent see it's easy or let's throw this out there if donald trump voter fraud is exposed if he wins reelection is that my opportunity to say booyah told you so what if it's not about being right or wrong what if it's about walking in humility regardless what if what if god is looking for a people that partner with his spirit that live life on his word and if somewhere along the way we got off lord i want you to show me one of the most dangerous prayers you can pray if you're not married is lord give me a discerning spouse your life will be miserable and glorious me and my wife were married just a couple of years we had two kids under three and i had made it up in my mind that i was gonna buy a truck and i really didn't care what she thought and i went ahead and did it i got no problem throwing myself under the bus she's driving a broken down car and jj's got the nice truck two days later i'm watching brother john melendy over in africa anybody ever heard of john melendy he'll make sure you're saved he's preaching a message on the fear of the lord and all of a sudden the fear of the lord enters my room and the lord says you've made a mistake and i'm trembling i'm literally trembling saying oh my god what have i done and the lord says you're going to give the truck back and he said and you're going to tell them why i was like no lord no it's like yeah you're going to turn the truck back in and you're going to tell them that you did not listen to my voice you're going to tell them that you prefer your desires over your families i wish i had some great story about salvation breaking out at the car lot i just literally looked like an idiot lost a bunch of money you know what there's nothing like that joy that repentance brings there's there's nothing that truth the freedom that it brings can deliver to your life i believe that god as we enter into a new era in the body of christ is looking for discerning people that are willing to investigate that are willing to examine that are willing to search lord if there's something that i'm not seeing will you help me lord i don't want to be one of those people that just believes the best about people do you know that jesus never believed the best about anyone he just believed the truth see when you believe the best about people you build illusions in your mind based off who they're not and so you're having a relationship with someone based off an illusion but how many of you know god has no illusions about you see god sees the mess he sees the lies and he still chooses love i believe most people 75 of our relationships would go down the toilet if we actually believe the truth about people i believe that we serve a god who wants us to believe the truth about the people and the world around us and wrestle to walk in wholeness and relationship with them let me give you these three points how do we grow in discernment number one do not quench the holy spirit you cannot operate in discernment if you quench the holy spirit how do we quench the holy spirit ephesians 4 i'm going to read verse 29 do not let unwholesome words proceed from your mouth but only such as good do not grieve the holy spirit by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption let all bitterness wrath anger clamor and slander be put away from you if there is anger and there is unforgiveness in your heart toward your brother or sister it's impossible for you to discern the will of god for their life if there is anger if there is unforgiveness if there is bitterness if there is resentment there is no way that you can discern what god is saying and what he wants to do do you know how much anger and rage and bitterness and unforgiveness is on social media have you logged in today do you just see the absolute assault of that nasty vile spirit coming from christians but we want to claim that we have discerned what god wants to do in our nation what god wants to do in our nation and in our lives can only come as we get rid of these works of the flesh somebody say amen number two how do we grow in discernment we wash ourselves with the word of god how many of you know the word of god says that it's alive it's active it's sharper than any two double-edged sword have you ever caught yourself thinking the reason why i'm not acting like christ today is because i haven't read my bible it says it separates it it it has the ability to cut through the flesh in our lives and bring conviction if we're going to grow in discernment we're going to have to get that ability to examine to investigate from the truth what does the bible say about this issue if i'm going to discern a specific issue in my life i'm going to have to get my intel from the word of god are you with me and then the book of hebrews chapter 5 very interesting here it says in verse 14 but solid food is for the mature who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil number three how do we grow in our discernment we train our spiritual senses just like you would lift weights or exercise to train your body the spiritual senses the touch the taste the smell the hearing the eyesight these are actually all things that god has called us to train so if someone were to ask you how in shape is your hearing what would you say what a bizarre question how in shape is your ability to hear the voice of god how in shape are your eyes to look beyond the natural realm to discern what god is saying in the spirit how many of you recognize this is a great and needed gift in the body let me take you to one last scripture and we'll have some time of ministry first corinthians 2 ashton would you come i believe that god brought you here tonight because he wants to release this gift some of you are saying brother what in the world does this have to do with revival what does discernment have to do with revival well first of all do you want to be a part of false fire or real fire how do you know the difference between the two do you want to be a part of the flesh and emotional frenzy or do you want to be a part of something that's spirit birth something that's of god the only way you know the difference is your ability to discern do we want revival in america do we want to see a third great awakening in this nation the only way we're going to learn to partner with god is whether we can discern what he's doing and what he's not first corinthians 2 14 it says but a natural man does not accept the things of the spirit of god for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned how many of you are believers in jesus christ raise your hand which means that you've been born again and that you have the spirit of god living on the inside of you the holy spirit has made you his dwelling place and how we discern is we wash ourselves in the word we develop a relationship with him but here's what you have to understand the world around you that does not have the holy spirit in no way can discern what god is showing you one more time if you are a born-again believer who has the spirit of god the world around you who has the spirit of the world in no way can discern what god wants to show you question why are we always asking the world what god is doing why are you consulting with media outlets concerning what god is doing in america when they do not have the holy ghost [Music] okay i'm gonna step on your toes as a business owner why are you always consulting with the wisdom of the world and not seeking the wisdom of god brother what should i do where should i go we ask these questions every day who what when where how why i want to ask someone that's been born again i want to ask someone that has the holy spirit i want to ask someone that's not anger that's not bitter that's not resentful that's not unforgiving i want to ask someone who lives their life in the word of god i want to ask someone that can tell me the truth can you lift up your hands to the lord now let's just welcome the holy spirit here [Music] i sense all over this room tonight that he's been touching us and ministering to us god i ask in jesus name that scales would be removed from our eyes if we're under deception right now i ask that you would expose it in the name of jesus if people are lying to us and we believe the best about them so we can't even hear the truth lord i'm asking right now let darkness be uncovered god i'm asking that you would uncover darkness in our nation lord i'm asking that you would expose everything and bring it to light [Music] if you have a prayer language would you begin to pray in the holy spirit just for a minute if you don't just pray in english but i sense that there are decisions there are things that you need answers on relationships [Music] opportunities lead us and guide us into all truth lord lead us and guide us into all truth lord lord grant us humility i break stubbornness in this room god come and expose our pride [Music] lord on behalf of the men in this room god i ask that you would forgive us lord god if you're trying to speak through our wives and we're not listening god i ask right now that you would bring conviction to our hearts as husbands and fathers lord if there are decisions that we're making and we really don't even care what she says oh god i'm asking that you would help us make it right even before we go to sleep tonight lord and i even feel led to pray god if you're speaking through our children and we're not listening because we're saying they're too young god i'm asking lord open up our ears lord train our spiritual senses god to hear and obey your word no matter where it comes from lord we just want the truth god i pray that you would give us friends that would tell us the truth like those love hate relationships god give us relationships that love us too much to leave us blindsided [Music] sir you've got like a lot more hair than me in the black would you come one two three four yeah would you come right here let's stretch our hands out toward this brother god says that i have called you as a disciple maker i have given you a gift i have given you influence to get my word down inside the next generation and the lord says in this coming season i want you to pour it on in this coming season i don't want you to hold back i want you to speak the truth and i want you to be bold and i want you to be courageous about it there's a religious spirit that i see around you that's trying to polish you that's trying to get you to kind of calm it down a little bit and the spirit of god would say i've called you as a sharp tool and a sharp sword and i even just speak to this region i speak to this region of hickory and newton and say you will no longer neuter the truth there there's been a neutering in this region there's been a religious spirit that's tried to water down the gospel and strip it of its power but the lord says i'm gonna release a word and a spirit of truth i'm going to raise up disciples in this region it's the 2nd timothy 2 2 reality where paul told timothy be faithful to find faithful men sir i just release a 2-2-2 mandate to you to make disciples and to find disciples that would disciple others just hear something in your heart that's like i don't know about all that prophetic stuff but for you sir making disciples and loving the word is what's most important god we bless this man of god in jesus name [Music] amen i want you just to get your eyes on jesus tonight just his servant believe even in this atmosphere he's helping us to see like he sees he's helping us to hear how he hears lord i want to hear you and see you no matter what it costs me [Music] holy are you lord holy are you lord you're a couple on the back row sir you're wearing a coat jacket [Music] would you stretch your hands out toward the finest stressed couple in the building [Music] i have given you a love for the truth and a distaste for hypocrisy for you have seen many talk the talk but not walk the walk there's something deep in your heart that yearns for purity that yearns for holiness you're seeking substance you're seeking something that's real and i believe the lord would say to you tonight that in many ways you haven't found what you're looking for because you're it you've been looking for some voices you've been looking for some confirmation someone that you can follow and the lord says i've anointed you as pioneers i've anointed you to birth in this season to give birth to that which your heart so desires love truth and to hate hypocrisy now god i just pray for a fresh dose of the holy ghost tonight god from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet lord i'm asking that you would fill them up lord i just there's something being birthed here tonight there's a ministry there's a mandate and there's even the provision for it there's been a lot of questions there's been a a lot of reservations concerning what god has really called you to do from the people around you and the lord says i'm here to settle it tonight don't listen to the naysayers don't listen to the opinionated around you the religious that have told you you can't step out in faith you're gonna be a testimony to many people around you of the goodness of god [Music] just stretch out your hands one more minute god i'm asking that you would fill them lord where are you guys from [Music] charlotte what are you guys going to do what's what's what's being birthed a ministry you feel called are you in a mystery [Music] yeah saying they're from florida they've come to charlotte they feel called to birth a ministry here just confirming what i've been saying i feel like the lord is putting on my heart to give you five thousand dollars i'm going to give you five thousand dollars as a seed as a confirmation as a witness as a testimony [Music] i've got faith for five more though can we raise five thousand dollars i've got one i've got two we've got 2 000 who else wants to help
