Dining At The World Famous Claridges London | 5 Star Lunch

oh yeah my shoes are really squeaky ha   oh my gosh that was absolutely amazing oh look at  this with all the champagne and the wines [Music] hello guys happy Friday Monday Tuesday whatever  day of the week it is I hope you're doing well   I'm about to go and pop into Liberty because  they're mid-season sale has started you guys   and I got loads of messages but then I'm  going to go to claridges with my sister   who I think is in h m home at the moment and  we're gonna have a lovely lunch and I keep   getting asked the new Ikea is still not  open the old Top Shop you can see the old   sign up there yeah and next door is still yeah an  opportunity oh where's the sun maybe by the time   I've uploaded this it will be nice Spring weather  but it's just started raining honestly are we ever   gonna get a spring I usually cycle here but yes  the weather today is not meant to be too nice it's   spitting so let's quickly pop in here and they  always have the most beautiful flowers outside   look at these absolutely stunning I think that's  the only spring thing that's going to happen today   go up to the home Department very very quickly and  just see what they've got I literally dressed for   cold weather but it's highs of 11 degrees today  got my woolly coat on goodness you know what I'm   signed up to all of these retailers emails and  stuff and I never got an email to say that yeah   there's a mid-season sale I'm not going to have  a vlog all of it just as an example maybe when   you're watching this it'll still be on so yeah  something that's oh you see that 45 pound it's   now 25 so they definitely go in with a with a  decent discount up to 50 off and this is why I   came in so thank you to you guys I've shown  this candle before rain rain Rock Creek kind   of reminds me of where the crawdads are saying  I've just finished reading that it's an okay book   but these are very expensive candles which even  at 70 pounds is a little bit over my budget but   I'm definitely going to treat myself and get  one I'd love the big one how much is the big   one that's going to be oh gosh I'm not sure I'm  Roberta carrier that big one is 175 in the sale   but yes I really love this brand I don't  own anything from them ginori 1735 but yeah   all their candles are on sale I will link below  actually a link to Liberty so you can have a look   cute stuff I could spend thousands and thousands  in here but they've also got some stationary bits   so I'm just gonna have a quick look oh  look at Snoopy I absolutely love Snoopy   yeah we've actually just put my 100 000  subscriber pack on my wall so I don't   need any any more art in my flat again thank you  if you are subscribed if you're not subscribed   hit that button oh it's such a gorgeous store  isn't it but it's about 10 30 on a weekday but   let's go and find my sister I am not going to  want to burn that but yes I was just having a   look around they don't really have much on  the clothing oh Elisa says gah what a cool   brand name and but yeah they haven't got much on  sale for clothing but yeah have a look online I   will link this candle below we'll have a quick  look at the shoes I feel like I'm bag lady today   I've been pre-shopping also have to quickly  acknowledge I do have a slight list because   I just got invisalign but for six months  so there's a slight shine to my smile it's always weird seeing carnaby street so quiet  and with not many decorations there's so many like   nice little alleys and shops everywhere around  here hold on I'm still on a hunt for Clear framed   glasses let's have a quick look I want them so  that they're like fully clear I don't really want   or care to have designer ones not my shape but I  definitely want clear or taught a shell I'm not   sure I do like this brand though blue Bloom I'm  struggling to say it they're quite cool aren't   they I'm going to come back in when I've got a  little bit more time but they were saying all   the glasses are 95 pounds and then depending on  what lenses you need they might be included or you   need to pay a little bit more I don't really want  to pay like hundreds and hundreds of pounds for   glasses um a lot of people that I know and I work  with they all have like Tom Ford glasses which are   so cool but I don't know they're like three four  hundred plus pounds and then you've got to get   the lenses and I just don't think it's worth it  so yeah blue blue bloom I'm sure I can say that   especially with Invisalign I'm going to come back  and have another look oh the sun's come out but   it's very windy I have never seen a recycling  thing like that before it's kind of gross but   good idea I love this Archway it's so pretty  oh I'm so glad the sun's come out though yes   let's chop it down in a minute I think she might  be in here this is such a good store H is a h m   home on Regent Street it's always so tidy  and their VM is amazing here I spot a Natalie   and Nat's here as highly requested anyway we  just did some shopping yeah oh there was stuff   that she didn't look at you sure we've got  time now no so I can't carry a lamp home a   lamp home no well we only got them got too far  but they always have these dry flowers outside   but what I find is I always forget until  after you paid that they have all of these   very pretty oh look at these ones  but cheaper than Liberty [Music]   and we've made it it has stopped raining  for a moment but yes we're gonna head into   claridge's it's so windy look at this I don't  know why I'm wearing a hairband I give up   so yes we are heading in for food at claridges  for the foyer restaurant and this is the same   area I'll get my hair out of my face that is  the afternoon tea now I don't know what I've   written in the title of this video I hope they  haven't click baited you but the afternoon tea   doesn't start till 2 30 and that is too late  for us unfortunately yeah because now it has   to dash out of London to pick up the kids so  yeah we're gonna go for a nice lunch together   yeah [Music] they did I love all  the art deco details it's so pretty try and show you some of the details  the mirrors and the little up lighters   look at the light up there the chandelier yes  I have shown this probably a couple of times   before they have all the pictures of famous people  and royalty leaving or coming and going from the   hotel and then they have this beautiful staircase  yes this is usually where the Christmas tree is   oh it's so nice and the room is like a gorgeous  yellow the floor is also what they are very famous   for and we're going to be heading into that  room there over all these shows we go in but   it's a beautiful Lobby The Gorgeous Flowers I'm  just going to pop along here also you have the   claridge's bar which is a good place to yeah get  yourself a nice little cocktail but the arches   I love the art Deco love it and they do have  some obviously some fancy Brands where you can   go shopping as well oh very nice and this  is probably I really like this entrance there is a cloakroom so we've dumped  all our stuff because it's hot in   here I'm wearing my new massamo Dutti jacket  I'm kind of in between sizes because it's a   little big but it's more like a city fit and  then my trousers I got from Reiss of the Haley   cropped and then oh yeah my sparkly shoes  I was saying they're a little bit squeaky   but they're quite cute aren't they anyway I  haven't really looked at the menu have you no let's see what we've got yeah  my shoes are really squeaky oh it's so cute look at the little  trolley nat with the sweets [Music] where are we gonna sit oh going  all the way around oh we're here   cute table set up right let's have a quick  look at the menu I like the claridge's green   I know you guys like to see a menu so I'm gonna  whiz through so we've got some nice salads there   some sandwiches obviously guys we are in one of  the most luxury hotels in London so considerations   on the prices there caviar some nice first  courses I think we might just do Mains but let   me know now if you want get whatever you fancy  oh Lobster or risotto that sounds quite nice   um yeah and some vegetarian options as well I'm  not sure what they've got for vegan that are to   share most kind of nicer restaurants especially in  hotels they often have things where you can have   it for two people um pasta and pizza oh lots of  Margarita Pizza 25 pounds and some sides there we   go standard that's that's a very premium french  fries for 10 pounds and then everyone always   asks so service charge tip is always 12.5 in the  UK and you can pay more if you wish [Music] um so I think we're gonna go for  this beef apart from 800 grams   there's quite a lot to eat right there was a wine  menu but we're not gonna have a drink are we we're   good we're good with sparkling water I'm sure you  can get some other soft drinks but I really like   the little table set up this is really pretty  and the little real flower very nice but yeah   this is where you would have afternoon tea and  we are yeah right in the middle it's so pretty   and very very comfy seats and I like that it's  nice and bright in here it feels really fresh   guys we haven't got enough time to have that meal  so the lovely server was like it takes about an   hour for them to make that beef so maybe next  time there's loads of other stuff on the menu   you're going to get the lobster risotto I'm gonna  get the the spring lamb um yeah so we'll see that   sounds quite a nice thing there's lots of nice  things on the menu and within seconds we have   bread with a little butter look at the knife  very nice oh I can get it back on again and we   were just saying the water glasses they've got  a little crust on them I'm assuming the hotel   I really like all the flowers I don't realize  look it's like a little Garden in a garden in all   corners of the restaurant I do have to highlight  because something I loved last time I came here   were all the little lamps quickly show you some  of the decor look at this with all the champagne   and the wines yes we are trying to get another  couple of weeks without drinking but look at   this and it goes through to one of the champagne  bars that little door The Pianist does play with   afternoon tea but I just wanted to quickly show  you the setup so if there's four of you that's   a really nice seat to have in the corner but the  tables I'd say this is a very comfy and I really   like that it's got carpet look at this room in the  back I'm trying to get it all in the frame with   the art deco lady they're just setting up a few  more tables this is what I mean it's really cozy   obviously going to tidy that up in a sec  the archway is oh it's so pretty in here   it's honestly probably my favorite style of hotel  in London [Music] I did ask for it to be medium   I know I'm going to get comments people saying  no but yes the lamb and I can't even remember   what that was and that Lobster risotto and  he said really looks really good yum [Music] oh my gosh that was absolutely amazing I know  I'm going to get comments at the the sauce the   gravy was was a little widdly but it was perfect  consistency the lamb I will do a review at the   end and that is almost struggling it's  a rich one to have absolutely amazing   and dessert yeah we're not going full  on this time we were just saying it's   quite nice to have a nice lunch instead  of afternoon tea what have we got oh   melted chocolate dome in the middle there  that sounds quite nice isn't it and some   ice cream sorbet and some cheeses there  and oh it's got a nod to the pastry chef instead we've gone for a fresh mint tea and  look at these Petit fours so a little Madeline   Madeline am I saying that right little  jelly and obviously a chocolate truffle   and then you've got your sugars and whatever  and this nice little thing but look at the   um teapot very cute so yeah guys  I just broke my lent and I forgot   because it's not quite Easter yet when I'm filming  this what I've just eating I'm gonna eat the other   half don't worry but I'm not chocolate in ages  so Everyone likes to see the bill so yeah Nat   had the risotto I had the lamb the mint tea  for two was 850 which we're saying was quite   reasonable it did come with the pettyfoise which  I haven't eaten my orange one but never mind   yeah and some sparkling water because we just  wanted a bit of water in our lives [Music] so as we just wait to pay the bill I'm going to  quickly rate what I think this experience is so   obviously we came from lunch I would happily rate  this nine out of ten I think the service has been   exceptional they're so nicer super super kind I  know it's a TMI I ran to the bathroom before a   meal came and the meal came out and apparently  they said to nat or do you want us to put the   plates back inside I was really quick but yeah  it's that level of service it's super chill some   people are wearing jeans you can wear what you  want it's like smart casual yeah and I think   for the quality of the food I know the portions  aren't massive I feel really full and yeah you're   paying for the whole experience and this room  is stunning nine out of ten now what would you   rate at nine out of ten oh really yeah same yeah  I don't know where it loses the point to be honest   but it was lovely the food was just amazing yeah  really enjoyed it a lovely cup of tea at the end   typical brits aren't we it doesn't quite eat all  of it no it's just the whole thing was just lovely   yeah it just said the staff just been Fab they've  been really great even a little drinks trolley and   I just wanted to show you the side room because  it's really cozy and look at this little cozy sofa   set up are you joking oh honestly this is such  a nice place to come and have food or if there's   a big group of you as well yeah this is the  afternoon tea area love all the paintings and they   have this little sweet bar that you can grab some  little sweeties from oh it looks like it might not   be raining which is nice I think we've missed  the bad weather oh but look at that staircase [Music] all right time to go guys  we've got a train to catch well there we go guys we would highly  recommend I'm trying to do it without   you know the DHL van in the background  but I hope you enjoyed this nice lunch   with me and Nat if for anyone asking that  does not have
