what's up guys so the sorcerer video is finally done uh it's taking us some time to put this together uh we had a lot of testing a lot of things to figure out I knew that I didn't want to do any of the meta builds or any of the mainstream things that everybody's done 100 times you know I charge blizzard art class you know everyone's seen all of these builds um so when I set out to do this uh in in my thought process with any of these things that I do for you guys and for myself is um I don't want to play what everyone else is playing right that's how it's always been with everything that I've done right I never want to just kind of copy pasta what everyone else was doing I want to try to figure out what's good for me what I want to do right so with that being said I don't also want to sacrifice power for being different right so if there was no other option right and the meta is obviously the strongest and the only way to go then of course I'm gonna go The Meta right but I'm gonna see if there's other things out there right so we tested a bunch of things we try to conjure a build that didn't really work work we we knew that we wanted to play at range primarily at range we didn't want to be melee like arcwash so I started playing around with some things and what we came up with is insane the damage output is absolutely mental uh you're able to just decimate packs uh you're we're able to use uh all of the elements fire ice lightning and even Shadow damage all of our defensive skills which normally most most of the sorcers complain oh I have to have all of these defensives in my bar I can't have any real skills well we found a way to turn all those defensive skills into AOE nukes and on top of that using those is going to give us mana and it's going to give us more damage as well so um it's pretty crazy um so we'll explain how everything works together so we'll jump right into it let's go foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] so for those of you guys that want a tldr cliff notes version of the build and don't want to sit through a full in-depth explanation of how it works we're going to give you what you need rapid fire the only thing that I ask is that you please like And subscribe the video If you do find this helpful okay so from top to bottom on our character sheet we're going to go with the aspect of shared misery on our Helm for our chest we're going to be using Raymond of the infinite if you don't have Raymond yet then you can use any defensive aspect might Works uh protector works really any defensive aspect that you want here okay uh gloves we're going to be using frostburn if you don't have frostburn this is a flex spot so you can really use whatever you want to use here you can use Edge Masters you can use elementalists really up to you um just make sure you're not doubling up on any of your other aspects you know because you only get one okay for our pants we want Frost splits uh for our boots we want the exploiters for our wand we want the conceited for amulet you want disobedience nothing's really different there for our ring if you get a good rolled mother's embrace you want to use that because it's absolutely insane on this build if you don't have a mother's Embrace that's fine you can use any of the Mana aspects um rolls fine prodigies aspect is fine and then on our second ring whichever if you are not using the mother's embrace you want to use one of the other Mana aspects okay if you are using mother's Embrace I've tested a few different ones the one that I feel like fits best here is going to be Prodigy's aspect okay and then last but not least is our offhand is going to be that's going to be control okay as far as our enchantment slots go we're going to be using Firebolt and we're going to be using Frozen orb for the hearts that you need you want a cage tart of the barber for your raffle if you can't find a barber you haven't found one yet um the other gray one what is it called the um the malignant pack that one is okay you can also use use I haven't used the uh the heart of the of the omnipower yet it might be good I'm not sure you can try that one let me know how how it is in the comments um really just use whatever heart works until you find a barber Barber really takes this build up to the next level but if you don't have one that's fine I only recently found one um so and I've been playing this build since level one so nothing to worry about there so that's the tldr version for those of you guys that want to stick around for the full in-depth guide stick around we're gonna go through it [Music] okay guys the first thing that we're going to cover is going to be the skill tree uh if any of you tldr guys are still here I forgot to mention earlier there will be a build guide in the comments section it'll be a mobileytics link so check that out you can follow that along it'll have all of the skill points as well as the Paragon board to get everything set up okay for those of you guys that want the full explanation um as far as leveling goes on this build you can levelize this build I leveled as this build um one thing I will say is it is kind of clunky until you get the Mana problems fixed uh if you want to level as more of a traditional like art Clash or a traditional chain lightning build by all means do that and you can transition into this once you have the Mana issues fixed okay so as far as our basic skills we're gonna go two points into Fireball just to unlock our core skills we're gonna go one point in Frozen or one point and enhanced Frozen orb and then we're gonna go greater Frozen order now if you've noticed I don't have frozen or anywhere on my bar this is going to be in our enchantment swap okay and what this does is whenever you cast a non-basic spell you have a 30 chance to launch a frozen orbit a nearby enemy this happens way more than you think it would and it can trigger off of every single one of your abilities including your defensives so you can hit ice armor or fire Shield or flame Shield excuse me and you can launch a frozen orbit enemy pretty cool okay um and then the reason why we want the greater the greater Frozen orb is this is going to give us another way to apply vulnerability at range so we don't have to just teleport in in Frost Nova we can still do that if we want to but this just gives us another option in case it's an enemy that we don't want to get close to right like maybe they're poison or maybe they're maybe they're magma and we just don't want to deal with the uh the damage right we can just kind of fire away at them far away okay uh we're gonna put one point in Devastation just to get a little bit more Mana we're gonna put five points in chain lightning this is going to be a chain lightning build this is going to be our main source of damage uh enhanced chain lightning and then destructive chain lightning uh the crackling energy is really helpful this is gonna once we get further down in the skill tree you'll see the reason for this but this is going to give us Mana back it's also going to give us more damage when we get into the Paragon board word uh and then it's also we're gonna have a really high crit chance so this is gonna happen pretty pretty often okay we're gonna go one point charge bolts one point enhanced charge bolts and another point in destructive charge bolts uh once again this is not on our bar either this is going to be cast off of unstable currents uh I've tested this this is really really helpful especially with high nightmare dungeons if you look at the end of the video I do have some gameplay footage and I clear tier 48 uh Solo in about 10 minutes and this is super helpful I try to do a 51 earlier and I took this off and I got absolutely destroyed I wanted to see if it worked you don't want to you want to use this uh this this Dr is really really helpful okay for our defensive skills the answer to this question is yes we are going to take every single defensive skill that there uh that is available um this is pretty much the sorcerer Norm if you've played Sorcerers before you kind of know the drill um so one point in flame Shield one point enhanced flame shield and then we're gonna do shimmering flame Shield what this is going to do is it's going to give us Health back when we're low on Mana it's also going to give us another form of Unstoppable to get out of that those CC chains uh one ranked teleport another ranking enhanced sell port and then we're gonna go shimmering teleport this is also going to give us some damage reduction as well when we teleport in in case we want to go in and and uh and frost Nova and freeze the enemies okay uh three points in glass Cannon uh I have some extras for my gear so don't pay attention to those four extra uh but one uh we're gonna Max this one out one point nice armor we don't really need the enhancements here we just just the basic is fine we just want the active here and for the shield uh for the extra shield it provides for the barrier and for the Mana from prodigies aspect so that's what we want to do there for frost Nova one point here one point enhanced Frost Nova and then another point in mystical Frost Nova this is going to apply that vulnerabilities now we have two ways both the Frozen orb and with frost Nova as a way to apply vulnerability okay for our conjuration skills we're gonna take three points in Precision magic I've got three points here and lightning spear from my items it's marginal you don't need it on your items it does help a little bit when you cast unstable currents but not necessary um one point align the elements this is going to give us some Dr against uh Elites pretty helpful and then three points in protection so what this is gonna do this is going to um allow us to get a pretty decent sized barrier anytime we use any of our defensive skills and that's going to trigger our teleport off flame shield and off ice armor and off Frost silver all of these spells all count as defensives so we're pretty much going to have a constant barrier up so pretty pretty useful there for our Mastery skills we're going to take one point inner Flames just to unlock devouring Blaze now if any of you guys are non-sorcerer players this might seem a little weird to you um this the reason why we do this is because we have Firebolt on our enchantment slot so what devouring Blaze does it was we deal 21 increased Critical Strike damage against burning enemies and if they are also immobilized this bonus is increased by 30 they're 230 percent Okay so this is going to give us a huge damage boost to enemies that are burning and because of fire bolt we're going to always there everything's gonna be burning everything's on fire okay uh we're gonna put three points in static discharge uh this is going to give us a chance to form crackling energy and then three points in an invigorating conduit this this uh these this this and then uh this up here the destructive chain lightning this is going to give us Mana back so if we start to run low on Mana we can just pick up some some Cecil synergies or some crackling energy excuse me and that's going to give us some math okay um for our ultimate skills we're going to take on stable currents we're going to take Prime unstable currents and then we're going to take Supreme unstable occurrence okay so um we're gonna pop this basically anytime we need to there's a big fight or a big enemy or a big group of enemies we want to burst down uh because of our key passive because of overflowing energy uh our this is going to be up basically anytime we want it because we're getting that cooldown reduction um anytime a crackling energy um hits an enemy your shock cooldowns are reduced by 0.1 seconds increase to 0.25 seconds against the leads so it's going to reduce this cooldown pretty significantly because we're caught we're going to be constantly hitting with crackling energy okay um we're gonna do coarsing currents one point course and currents three points in electrocution this is going to give us further damage reduction against enemies that are that are critically struck by shock spells we're gonna have a ton of quick strike chance so this is going to give us just just some plot Dr and then three points and convulsions shock skills have a nine percent chance of some enemies for three seconds so it just gives us another or another way to uh to provide some CC right so that is the skill tree so next we'll jump into the aspects all right guys so now we're gonna go through the aspects so we did Cover the aspects briefly in the tldr section of the video uh we're gonna go more in depth on why we choose these aspects and how they all work together in the build okay so for our Helm we're gonna go with shared misery uh this gives us a 50 chance to have a crowd control effects spread to a non-affected enemy uh this is really good because we are constantly stunning and freezing enemies so this gives us a chance to just spread that effect now this combined with frostburn um this gives you the ability to now frostburn has a lucky hit chance we have a ton of Lucky hit frostburn has the chance to freeze enemies for two seconds if you hit them right so this combined with this together this is going to give us a chance to literally freeze one enemy and have a chance to freeze a whole pack of enemies so really useful um it provides massive CC chains so these two work really well together um for our chess piece we want Raymond in the infinite the reason we want Raymond for those of you non-sorcerer players what this does this basically turns our teleport into a vacuum so essentially sucks all the enemies in and stuns them the reason why this is so good now that is in itself is really good but the reason why we want this in this specific build is because in the Paragon board our first board that we're going to take is going to be static surge so static surge says stunning close enemies restores 10 Mana so every time you teleport you're going to get 10 Mana back for each enemy that you stun with with Rayman so this is really useful this is basically going to give us unfended infinite Mana as long as there are multiple enemies around okay so that's what we do there uh for our gloves frostburn like I said uh if you don't have frostburn yet this is kind of a flex spot you can really use whatever you want here there's tons of options um if you need more defensives put a defensive aspect here if you want more damage put a damage aspect here and then once you get prosper and switch over to frostburns okay um for our pants we want Frost Blitz the reason why we want Frost Blitz is because we don't really care about the increased uh cooldown on Frost splits or should be on Frost Nova because we if you remember in our skill tree we have this ability here we have the elemental Attunement so this gives us a chance to just reset one of our one of our defensive skills so this happens a lot so you don't really need to worry about that you'll pretty much almost always have a frost novel up when you need it despite it having a 40 or 30 or whatever it is increased cooldown okay that's why we want that there um for our boots we want exploiters uh aspect the reason why we want this is because uh this is going to give us just longer CC chains and then if there are any enemies that are unstoppable it's going to give us increased damage against them so that's what we want there um for R1 we want the conceited aspect the reason why we want this is because we're going to have a constant barrier if you remember in our skill tree the uh the point sear in protection this is going to give us a pretty much Perma barrier so having this uh flat 25 or 15 to 25 increase damage is really good for our amulet we want uh the aspect of Disobedience uh we are still a sorcerer we are still very squishy so having this extra armor is very very helpful definitely want to have this on your amulet slot um one of the things you can try if you um if you feel in uh feeling uh ballsy you can swap this into maybe your offhand or another spot and you can put aspect of control here to get more damage I don't think it's worth it I would rather just have the extra defensives but if you want more damage you can uh you can swap these two around if you want to um for our ring we want Mother's Embrace if we can get it the reason why we want Mother's Embrace is because of the active the rest of the skills on it are okay the lucky hits really good the all stats is okay Critical Strike damage is really good overpower damage is kind of whatever but the main reason why is the ability so if a core skill hits five or more enemies 40 20 to 40 percent of the resource cost is refunded this is huge in this build because our main ability is chain lightning and it's going to be constantly hitting multiple answers this is going to basically make our chain lightning spree not really free but pretty damn close Okay um if you don't have a mother's Embrace that's fine just get any aspect any Mana aspect a prodigy aspect um roll umbrella's really good in this build because we're constantly seeing things um but uh you want a mother's Embrace if you can find it so if you haven't completed the campaign yet hold on to that Mother's Embrace that you get at the end because it's actually really good in this build okay uh for other ring we want the prodigies uh aspect this is going to just give us more Mana we're going to be constantly using cooldowns so this is going to fuel the engine and keep us to keep us topped off on Mana um and then for our aspect excuse me for our offhand we're going to be using the aspect of control um we're going to be constantly stunning immobilizing and freezing enemies so this is going to basically be just a flat percentage of damage increase okay so that's the that's the aspects now you're probably wondering why are we trying to apply all of these different damage types right so there is a reason for it I'm not just insane uh I mean maybe I am but that's that's beside the point um the the reason why we want this is because of the Caged heart of tarasha right so what the cage part of tarasha says is for each unique element you deal damage with you deal 11.5 so it's 7 to 12 so this is almost a Max roll increased damage for 6 to 12 seconds my minus 10 seconds right so our fire bolts going to increase our damage by 11.5 our Frost Nova and our Frozen orbers are going to increase it by another 11.5 our lightning is going to increase it by another 11.5 and then our Barber is going to increase it by another 11.5 so that is I'm bad at math what is that that's uh 22.42 that's like almost 50 percent increase damage um it's insane it it once in and what happens is this is instantaneous when this happens as soon as you hit an enemy they're they're automatically going to get at least two stacks from your Firebolt and from your lightning right and if and then if you teleport in in Frost Nova and and if you get a correct chance which is very likely because we have a very high crit chance you're gonna get four Stacks instantly so you're gonna get an instant damage uh damage steroid right off the bat and it sticks around for a pretty decent amount of time right even though even on the lower rolls you're still having it for for six seconds still plenty of time to get to the next pack and still have that damage rolling okay so that's that's the reason why we're doing that um and then for our um I mentioned turning our defensives into nukes the way that we do that is with the with this brutal heart it's the Caged heart of Revenge so what this says is is it 10 to 20 of incoming damage is instead suppressed so this is basically going to give us a 20 Dr damage reduction which is amazing on a sorcerer because we're super squishy right so 20 of damage is going to be suppressed and then anytime we use a defensive skill if you look our whole bar is defensive skills so now every time we put us one of these abilities we're gonna nuke an AOE for 20 for mine is 26 543 damage every single time you press the defensive and and this and this can be uh you can literally get hit once presses and it'll still do the nuke it's it's in saying how good this heart is right and then the barber if you guys have not had a chance to test this heart this heart is mental it does so much damage uh basically it stores the damage and then it increases the amount of damage the enemy takes for uh for a few seconds increasing each second it goes by and then they explode and do a big AOE right so this counts as Shadow damage so that's why this procs this right so that's why that's how the whole thing fits together all right and last but not least is our Paragon board so for our Paragon boards as you can see I path up to the right here uh our first glyph we grabbed control control is insane on this build uh we are constantly slowing or chilling or stunning or freezing enemies so we're almost always going to get the secondary effect so it's going to increase our damage by 20 and then uh 54 uh increased damage to crowd controlled enemies so this is pretty this is pretty amazing right so that's that's going to be our glyph here we're going to follow up to the left here uh we're gonna make our way uh you so you want to make this a priority our next board is going to be static surge you want this orientation on the board so right in the middle we're gonna path up to the left we want to grab these notes here because uh we are going to be constantly stunning enemies especially once you get Raymond of the infinite this is just going to give us increased damage but that that's what allows us you'll see in the game play clip of me just teleporting in and thing just evaporates right because we're doing increased damage to stunned enemies so um this here so we're gonna grab that and increase damage to Elites uh really good as well we're gonna make our way right to here right off the bat this is going to give us uh this is going to fix whatever remaining Mana problems that we have and now our Mana is going to be set we're not going to really ever run out of Mana again okay um we're gonna path up to here we're gonna grab this rare note here just gonna give us some more damage to stunned enemies more damage to stun enemies really good um and then uh here we're gonna put charge if you notice I haven't turned this on yet um there's a few different glyphs I've tested here there's not really any that are you can turn on without upgrading them to level 15. so I haven't upgraded this to 15 yet I think mine right now is 12. yes 12 I haven't upgraded it yet once you do get this upgraded to 15 then I will grab the other intelligent slots I'll grab this one here and then I'll probably grab one or two up here to make sure I turn this on so right now this isn't turned on this is giving us a little bit extra damage on crackling energy um it's it'll be better later once you once you do level up the glyph right then we're going to pass to the right we're going to get some more Mana up here um so now we really won't have any Mana problems um some more damage to stun enemies some more damage to stun enemies go off to the right here and then we're gonna grab our third board is going to be the burning and stink board now for this board and the uh We're not gonna need to grab the legendary node the legendary node is not really relevant for us because um our only source of burning damage is the uh is the fire bolt it doesn't really provide that much damage this is kind of it applies other things and the reason why we want this board is because this gives us a bunch of increased damage to burning enemies and damage reduction against burning enemies right so that's the reason why we want this and then for our glyph here that we we want Elementalist uh this says dealing fire cold or lightning damage to an enemy increases all damage you deal to them by five percent for 10 seconds and it Stacks once per element I don't know if this works with the barber I don't think it does I think it only counts fire cold and lightning but either way it's a 15 increase to damage so pretty pretty good flat increase and we're doing all damage types uh pretty much constantly okay uh path to the right up here just going to grab some more of these burning nodes uh you're gonna just get increased damage to burning increase damage set to Elites um and then well I'm gonna path up here we don't really care about these magic nodes we do want the the damage reduction here and we want the keeper Flames for more damage reduction um as far as my next board I'm not really sure what I'm gonna go yet I might go ice fall I might go frigid fate uh probably ice fall because our damage is already insane uh we might just want a little bit more survivability so we might actually grab this legendary no because this does give us just another barrier so um maybe we'll do that but uh but yeah guys
