brian come on up we're ready for you let's all stand let's just welcome brian amen he's become a good friend you're you're one of the few guys that makes me feel small i love it uh stretch your hands this way we just want to bless our friend this uh this minister the lord has lent us and we want to do right by the lord we want to do right by him but we want to receive all that the lord has for us in him amen so as you're praying for him our part is to open our hearts and bless father in jesus name we bless this man we bless him we thank you for him lord you said to abraham i'm going to bless you and make you a blesser and lord that's our rule today you've so blessed us but lord we're so hungry for more of you and what this man is carrying as a peace that you have given him for us and lord we bless that we say thank you for it we don't hold our hearts away we present our hearts forward and say dr brian use the skills the lord has given to you and speak into our lives our hearts are open to the spirit of the lord in jesus name amen praise the lord good morning everybody dr brian okay that's the first no pressure no pressure on that i like it though praise the lord i tell you i've been given many titles you know as you travel and ministers i've heard it all and we'll take whatever it is that the lord be glorified my favorite one recently is uh we just acquired a facility down in atlanta and there's this pastor locally he's a black pastor he's awesome his name is pastor stanley they've become real close and they do a lot of work with us and so you know black people just got a certain swag about them i don't know do you guys know what swag is up here it's just kind of a way they walk and talk and carry themselves and so i'm i'm up there at the facility not uh not too long ago recently he peeks around the corner and his term formula was like pastor g he called me pastor g i was like yes sir and uh just terms that you so that was the recent one it was funny to work with pastor stanley but anyway i'm excited to be back with you all uh this morning yep thank you christine i'll always forget usually i'm horrible about that but we have books in the back hopefully we'll bless you guys if you want me to sign them later be honored too some people like the signatures some don't you know i'm just it's really neither here nor there but i'm here if you need that so the first one bridal company is really probably the crux of who we are honestly you know we teach and preach train make disciples go into you know third world countries do it all do the gospel but at the end of the day for me the highest prize in life is to intimately know jesus christ and know him deeply and i believe he's really raising up a bridal company you see them they just got a different slant to them different presence about them that the gaze they carries on another level and they're so possessed by jesus christ first and foremost through intimacy that the fruit happens out of that place you know it's really awesome we um we have an academy i do want to talk about that in case any of you guys feel at a two-year academy school of ministry that we're just completing our first fiscal school year and i think we're at like 220 students 18 countries around the world just getting rocked and a lot of dear friends teach in this academy daniel kalenda he'll be tomorrow night actually do you guys know of daniel kalinda he's a really powerful evangelist he's really everything you need him to be a pastor or whatever um michael colanos eric gilmore who will be with you guys corey russell the one and only he listened corey he's another breed he's in his own caliber he gets like zero to sixty in point two seconds you know super humble meek and then you give a microphone it's like put on your seat belt but love him dearly dear friend patricia king also another incredible mother apostolic prophetic voice in the nations and so anyway that being said it's very full you know i know my heart is to express the fullness of god through his body teach and train and all that it is but we recently had dr james gall on last week really powerful taught on discerning the fear of the lord and he began to talk about how there's been certain kind of emphasis you know emphasized realms of god throughout the ages remember pastor linda you even said the teaching movement came in and you can see it a lot of rain movement william branham and all these guys the healing jack cohen a.a allen and it's all been god and good and amazing i was in the brownsville revival fear of the lord repentance while toronto's being poured out it's like the father's love and yay and sniffling and crying and joy you know and it's both god do you guys know the toronto outpouring yeah brownsville revival where they're both it was kind of like the kindness and severity of god being poured out in both you know and so typically the longer i've been in this thing i've learned that god's not either or he's both and he's very full and i believe this last hour company this is what dr james was even talking about will be a people of his presence and listen presence is only manifest in and through those that are intimately by proximity you've got to intimately know him you can tap into gifts by faith and principles of the word his word won't return void you can do many things and we love it all and do it all but there's a company in this last hour that's driven by intimacy first and foremost and they just want to know him they don't care about the lights the you know the fame their name whatever it is they just want to know him deeply and i want to expound on some of that this morning but from that place is where the fruit is happening and they're walking out of this deep gaze lost in him so that's that one then the next one same thing to know him intimately just different title no i'm teasing yeah and supernatural realities love this and this is one of our very first ones i didn't know what all was here a divine encounter how we know we serve a god of encounter and really love to um you know express god through both the word teaching but also spirit you know we've got to have encounter and experience this is the god we serve so that's what that's about the favorite not one you take up offerings on but contemplations on character and this is probably one of my favorites honestly because i've learned and still learning you never really arrive but i don't know character is really important man i've seen it i've seen really gifted folks that then you see behind doors and it's like hold on a second that's not the spirit you know so you always want the fruit of the spirit running tightly alongside the gifts of the spirit how do you know you can tap into the gifts but you can flow outside of the nature and character of god you know what i'm telling you i've seen it people read your mail miracles you see in matthew 7 22 the jesus christ read letters he says out of his own mouth many will come to me in that day many not just a small camp many and they'll say to me lord lord meaning by their perception he's lord he's ruler over their life did we not cast out devils in your name prophesy in your name not try to not attempt to these guys were prophesying full out and if you really closely do many mighty exploits in your name meaning like if we would have looked at their resume for the day we would have been like oh yeah top ten the michael jordans of the kingdom or something you know and the lord steps back my version i can see him just stepping back getting a good full scan and he goes i'm sorry i don't even know you boys don't even know you depart from me workers of iniquity again thank goodness he took up the offering but you know it's like hold on how how is prophesying you know casting out devils doing many mighty exploits all in the name of the lord these weren't you know modern day bankers or lawyers these were kingdom gunners preachers and how did that equate to workers of iniquity and when he says i don't know you that's the same word knowing to know him um that mary used when she said i never knew joseph to become pregnant with jesus it's a very intimate bridal realm and he never knew them never there was never at any point he deeply knew them all that being said you can tap into gifts principles of the spirit the word and not know him intimately you know and i want to encourage you guys in that in character it's so key because it shows a life yielded to the spirit and reflecting him anymore i'm just being honest with you guys and dear friends i run with even michael we were talking recently kulianas and people i look at nowadays i guarantee you pastor john and linda would say the same is people with character gifts amazing praise god but i know that will come in time if they love jesus i'm just looking for humility you know authenticity people that keep their word faithful loyal people that love the lord people that are truthful not giving over to gossip slander negativism you know complainers listen complaining you can if you want a guaranteed ticket to stay in the wilderness your entire life complain really you can't get out of the wilderness if you complain i just have no time for that i'm complaining about complainers and i'm teaching i'm teasing but anyway you want to you know the bible says meditate on that which is good noble and true and you just steer things and you steer life and and stay in the presence of god anyway does anybody have a birthday or anything fun i want to give some books away or near no way how old are you 23. oh someone bless you with those man yeah of course happy birthday wow so it's your birthday today okay anything special playing he said shh that was a great answer yeah so okay praise the lord let's pray and then we'll just jump and see where we end up won't keep you guys too long jesus we love you be glorified thank you for your presence your voice we say have your way come holy spirit and glorify jesus uh above all in your precious name amen first off you have to repent oh my goodness last night i brought a coffee in the house i had it hidden under my chair and i meant to repent last night but i forgot so here i am preaching no mixture get this get to get it out of the cab and i'm like a snake of coffee and i didn't know i get into worship and uh i think it's pastor john somebody goes the only no christine only water in the house i was like oh sweet jesus i've got a coffee under my chair and i'm like aching with sin in the camp you know hiding coffees in my tent and all this and uh okay so appreciate that yeah so i meant to repent when i got up here but i forgot and uh so used the wisdom of the lord this morning i pounded it before i came in the door thank you lord be glorified how do you know you need to honor authority that's really big i love authority i don't care what its stance is it's beautiful to me submission yielding and complementing authority i just want to encourage you guys in that you don't want some mavericks coming in doing their own thing and uh submission's a beautiful thing you see it all throughout scripture and they know what they're doing god puts leadership up in place for a reason and uh so anyway that was funny wanted to tell you guys that and so let's jump in okay i want to read out of revelation 3 and maybe just talk for my heart back and forth from this in matthew 25 the virgins that you guys have been hearing me preach on a bunch over the last couple of years the virgins i really see they kind of overlap in this last hour revelation 3 starting in verse 14 the church of laodicea and then um i'll just read it over you first and kind of expound from my heart if it's okay then just want to talk to you about intimacy loving the lord really well um because honestly just to simplify in this hour if we like last night and even uh pastor john was talking about it at dinner last night as well just purity that yielded life we were talking about by the grace of god not in your own strength but if there's a yielded life in this hour unto the set apart realm of god that he's looking for coupled together with deep intimacy listen you can't you can't not fulfill destiny because if you love me jesus says i'm talking about true intimacy true love not some devotion you high-five god or check off your list or whatever it may be if you love me you'll obey me and i'm telling you these two things when they're set in place especially in this i really see it as a last hour narrative this bridal theme that's um really being emphasized i believe in the word and kind of a fresh oil on it i'm seeing it in this hour of amid so much more but this company the lord's raising up as a bride so um anyway watch this write this letter to the angel of the church in laodicea this is the message from the one who is the amen the faithful and true witness the beginning of god's new creation i know all the things you do i got the new living sorry my english standard i gave out last week let me tell you about this testimony is that okay i'm all over the place so we were it was father's day weekend we had another conference there in atlanta and um i heard uh in prayer praying through the event i could see what i knew to be a young man and i heard in the spirit he must be born again and at glory we call these events glory nights okay so how do you know that not a lot of lost folks flocked to a meeting called glory nights you know so we don't get a whole lot of lost people there but i heard crystal glad he must be born again so thank the lord i remember dinner i said there's a young man here you've got to be born again you don't know the lord not really connecting the whole father's day thing yet it's father's day weekend we get lost laying hands on people spirits moving all this well one of our academy students found the young man 13 year old he felt led by the spirit he was him he asked him and sure enough they found me in the balcony and the young man comes up in the of indian descent you know um precious young man 13 years old how many of you were there so i know some people were there yeah some of our students are here too how many of you are in our academy raise your hand amazing there's some powerhouses around here and so anyway they come bring him up there i say hey how are you um good real shy at first and i said do you know jesus do you have an intimate walk with jesus christ he goes i don't i don't i don't know i was like that's not the best answer then i'm thinking do you have a bible he goes no and so we found out this is the young man that wasn't born again begin to pray for him we find out three years ago his dad died so he's a father how many know um god's a father to the fatherless we're on father's day weekend this precious young man he gets born again is weeping up in the balcony anyway so i gave him a bible he didn't have a bible and he got the english standard version he has the more accurate versions so anyway not read letters though so i'm reading out of a new living but anyway it's just a precious moment on father's day weekend so watch this i know all the things you do that you are neither hot nor cold i wish that you were one or the other but since you are like lukewarm water neither hot nor cold i'll spit you out of my mouth i don't even know this side there's a side of jesus that little can be direct at times you know and i say we fall in love with all sides to who he is because it's perfect to love but you say i am rich i have everything i want i don't need a thing and you don't realize that you're wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked it's funny you'll see he'll come in with the encouragement i used to build custom homes for years and my dad would call it this the sandwich effect like he's like look we got to correct the situation hit him with the bread first tell him something really good and then rebuke the fool out of him and then correct it and then land it with some more bread he would call it the sandwich effect and if you really look at the letters to the churches jesus really does this he'll hit him with a correction because he loves them but then he'll land it with a remedy and he kind of is doing this here but watch this so this is what i want to emphasize and kind of merge it with matthew 25 so i advise you to buy gold from me gold that has been purified by fire then you will be rich how many of you want to be rich in the lord's eyes in this hour i really again the word is for all times we know this but i feel in a fresh emphasized way by the spirit the lord's highlighting this to the church right now listen i do you think you got it going on but i'm telling you by my assessment it's not you're not where you need to be and this is his advice to us buy from me gold refined by fire which version is this up here oh wow we're on the same okay then you will be rich also buy white garments for me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see listen to me this is really big in this last hour obviously the church of laodicea can be implied as a prophetic last hour even window that you're looking at into the church doesn't have to be but it can be the seventh and last church but he says i correct and discipline everyone i love so be diligent and turn from your indifference and here it is right here this is the remedy so correction and then he lands it with this remedy right here basically jesus is saying this is what's wrong this is what i advise and this is how you fix what i just advise you to do are you guys tracking with me and this is it this is beautiful thank god he made it so simple he says look i stand at the door and knock if you hear my voice and open the door i will come in i like the other versions it says i will dine with you basically become one with you through intimately uh knowing you those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne just as i was victorious and sat with my father on his throne anyone has the ears to hear let him hear what the spirit would say so i really want to emphasize this buying of gold and hit it from the point of intimately knowing him i know you can prophetically teach so many different revelatory truths from this angle but to me gold in scripture would speak of the most valuable thing right we're not talking about bronze or silver here and to me gold there's a purchasing a price paid to intimately know him and i want to encourage you guys in this hour put all the eggs in the basket of this right here to know him intimately i don't care you say well i'm a stay-at-home mom or a marketplace or whatever it is this applies to everybody and the quickest way to fully align with your destiny is to intimately know him in a deep way you see this in john chapter 15 he says abide in me and you'll bear much fruit you know and i think far too often if we're not careful i've been guilty of this plenty of times but we we start out right abiding in him and the fruit starts to happen but then we start looking off one of the branches at the fruit and we start thinking how can i better make that fruit impact what i'm doing and the people you know how it relate to them or you guys know what i'm talking about and then we kind of kind of hop out on the branch and i liken it to being grapes because in the context of john 15 jesus says i am the vine i'm the true vine which also tells you there's many false vines out there there's depictions of jesus there's even false gospels and things that just don't line up to the true vine in jesus christ but we'll start looking off on the branch thinking how can i make these grapes just a little bit better how can i turn them in this angled light polish them up let me inject a little more natural juice into them make them look a little more bountiful whatever it is and we start to do so many things in ourselves to let destiny happen when he says look just buy from me go just abide in me deeply this most valuable thing gold is found in knowing me intimately and it will cost you not your spirit your spirit longs to be with the lord but your flesh jesus says spirits willing flesh is weak so the cost really just comes to you know our flesh and our desires and things like this but you see it matthew 25 i love to kind of you i can see these overlapped where they have to buy oil you guys have heard me probably preach this plenty if you followed us for any length of time but you see these virgins all in pursuit of the bridegroom and i love the reward of this one right here the church of laodicea i did a study some time ago on the seven churches and all of their rewards and for me hands down the church related to see the reward is like oh my gosh let me be a pillar in the temple of my god let me sit on the throne with the lord jesus christ like he like he was with his father it's so intimate the remedy is so intimate and the reward is so intimate and again i see it kind of encompassing this last bridal theme leading unto the lord's return and the marriage of the bridegroom um you know eat of the tree in paradise says all these rewards are incredible given a new name and a white stone i'm like amazing i want them all and i say go for all of them but this last one to sit with him on his throne just as he sat with his father on his throne i'm going oh my gosh lord i've got to have this so how how do i what i do let me not think that i'm listen if we're honest i think far too often welcome ma'am how are you love the beautiful yellow uh outfit but far too often you know for honest i think we kind of think we got it going on you know again god so loving big cheesy smile on his face looking down at him so proud of you he sees his son in you so nothing condemning at all but also we've got to read the word and here's red letters jesus saying look thank you got it going on not so much not quite much i just my advice to you right now is buy gold and listen to me the purest gold you can ever find refined by fire psalm 78 says his promises are purified seven times over and i i love to again you can prophetically pull so much out of this and teach from different ways but this gold to me the most valuable thing you can find in life is to intimately know him it may be purified in his presence in this hour like never before and from that i told you guys last night from that the white garments that just happen by default you're so lost in love with him uh your face starts to shine and then you're just like moses then your clothes begin to illuminate from purity it's the white garments which is the righteous deeds of the saints but these three things right here intimacy purified such a pure pure intimacy purity and from that in this last hour our eyes being anointed to see so clearly i touched on it uh last night some but why do you think one of the emphasises of the last hour is like needing to see clearly it's because the times are going to be so dark that's what's so beautiful about matthew 25 it says it was at midnight the bridegroom came you guys remember that it says and at midnight which is the darkest hour you know don't be fooled into thinking everything's just going to go on the up and up and be happy clapping no it's going to get dark persecution is going to increase i'm kind of like who cares bring it i just love jesus christ i love him you know let the let the times collide let the gray area remove black and white get crystal clear that's why we can't have a mixture in this hour just detach from the world fall so madly in love with him to where you're so potent dripping with the oil these bridesmaids that are so caught up with jesus christ it's like stephen he's so like he sees the lord you know just don't forgive him lord they only know what they're doing and so um as this dark hour increases we're going to need eyes to see really clearly and the anointing will anoint our eyes from this deep intimate place of buying the cost of gold refined by fire that intimate place and so you see it with the bridesmaids as well the wise ones had already purchased it how many of you are pretty familiar with the matthew 25 if somebody is not you've got 10 bridesmaids all in pursuit of the bridegroom and it's right after matthew 24 which is the last hour of just paramount mascot chapter famine's plagues you know the last hour that jesus is referring to and right after he says matthew 25 there'll be ten virgins meaning in that last hour and you see it again here laodicea theme will be the brides these virgins looking for the bridegroom and the five wise have tons of oil that again if you read closely it says it has to be purchased or bought the secret place will cost you again in your spirit those that are deep in the lord they're like costly it's the highest prize in life it's all i want to do but if we're honest to the flesh and decision making it can cost you and again you see it out of the lord's mouth right here also in matthew 25 there's a buying and a purchasing of this gold that's so valuable and want to emphasize it this morning that listen let us put all the eggs in the basket of getting this gold refined by fire this intimate secret place cherish that above all this abiding in the vine protect it with everything you know my own children will tell you um zoey's 19 judah's 18 since they were young many of you know but i think those that don't i was divorced yeah i just got out of bible college and uh divorced i was perfect in the matter and now he said but it was biblical it was just you know not not a fun season but i'm thinking i'm going to get out of bible college and just shake the nations i mean trailblaze you know fire everything went the other way went across and they said the other divorce that was all biblical but not fun and so here i am my daughter's three zoe my son's one judah he's in diapers my daughter's got pigtails i'm like what am i doing i just love jesus i just want to impact the world you know just fasting prayer just hungry for the lord so i said oh well i don't really know a whole lot else into love jesus let me just crank that up i got more time on my hands you know the devil made a big mistake so while i was taking care of the kids as well and sweet jesus i don't think they had youtube then i'm having to learn how to do pigtails and stuff it was rough man my daughter was like can we do the you know brushing hairs and it's all crooked i'm like you look amazing babe off to school packing lunches you know like mr mom and uh so that was what it was but you know since they were young i was like look let me just tell you we are absolutely helpless without jesus his voice and presence is everything he is the bread that came down every day and i just want to encourage you guys that again whatever your status is the goal you feel your call everybody's call's different but let it be through this lens of this gold right here i've got to have it it's everything the oil of the wise virgins you see their lamp was burning so bright because it was so full of oil that when the darkest hour came which we're heading into how many you can feel darkness increasing and from what i hear just you can sense it and you know which i'm kind of like bible tells about it anyway but the bride will be shining so bright blinding light in the earth and so um but their lamps were burning so bright because they had so much oil excess oil it was fun i was preaching in houston recently or a little time ago in cory we were at the same conference and i was talking about matthew 25 having excess oil and i said yeah we gotta have extra gallons just supply of oil intimacy you know corey comes up at the end russell he's like that's the word of the lord yeah we got barrels of oil and i was like barrels i was like dude i don't even thinking like that i'm thinking gallons are plenty you know it's just his mind's on another deal i'm like yeah barrels you're right [Music] but there would be a people listen all the eggs in this basket of of what jesus says right here his advice i mean if you want advice from anybody i think we're gonna be wise taking it from the lord jesus christ go to the council if you need to but counsel directly from jesus christ in this hours listen do all things well stay with the spirit of excellence you know you know what i've called you to but above all gold is the most valuable thing you can access right now and buy it from me just like when the foolish virgins needed oil because the bridegroom had come at the darkest hour meaning they had had enough to get them up to that point and i think if we're not careful as believers we can have oil sufficient for the day there can be seasons in the past where we had plenty of oil but we start to neglect that buying of that gold refined by fire producing the secret place that oil that can be produced in the secret place and when the time comes we've got to go buy more and it's it's too late and if you look at jesus's assessment on them when they came knocking at the door same thing as the preachers from matthew 7 they say lord lord let us in basically the door had already shut and he says i do not know you there matthew 7 never knew you never intimately but with the virgins who were pure that's all we need purity but a deep intimacy dripping with oil i mean bars i got to set the thing high of corey here's big major gold bars i don't know something huge because he's going to say something more but uh but gold refined by fire you know what i mean bought from jesus christ in the secret place that produces the white garments righteous deeds of course because if you love me you'll obey me but also clothe your neckiness we'll walk in purity and deepen his word but it would be dripping with oil in this hour in the secret place and knowing him deeply and listen you can't not fulfill destiny like i was telling you guys earlier let's imagine the pulpits jesus christ the true vine if you just abide in him thank god he made it simple that's it just get stay lost in him never come off of this right here this gold this oil matthew 25 however you want to look at it but we invest our entire lives there and from that you just constantly keep having fruit you don't know how it happens because he produces it and again i think far too often zechariah 4 we get into our own power and strength and start to think how we can do things a little more creatively produce the fruit polish it up just right not knowing all the time the fruits diminishing because the only true fruit that will ever match up in heaven is that which was done through obedience from deeply loving him does that make sense to you guys i'm telling you a lot of things done you saw matthew 7 that where kingdom works that are going to be burned up in that day because they weren't birthed through intimacy you know so um i want to encourage you guys in that and just really talk for my heart for a couple of minutes and we'll land it and pray but i would suggest look just going for it um another one i don't hear preached about a whole lot but i encourage you guys is praying in the holy spirit listen we've got to pray in tongues you know i know a lot of us it's hard to logically wrap your mind around sometimes but you just trust the mystery i just want to encourage you guys trust the mystery you know do you ever feel like what am i saying this sounds like a two-year-old you know i would encourage you guys just trust the mystery because it's biblical and true and and the bible says it edifies your spirit and i wouldn't i can't tell you how many times revelation will just flow when i'm beginning to pray in the holy spirit he's the spirit who knows all things he points he's a reminder one of his resumes if you will or things that the holy spirit will also do what y'all got there some candies no i'm about to snag one those look good no you're good good that's awesome um but you know one of the things he does is he's a reminder of all things god save some for me that doesn't look good oh cough drops okay um all things that basically god the holy spirit will remind you things that god told you promised you revelation witty ideas creativity so i'll just encourage you guys what i'll do is i'll pray in tongues i learn it in bible college i think probably because it just i don't know what it is but i'll pace four steps just because my closet was as far as i could go at the time it was it was a closet i remember i walked a trench in the carpet walking miles a day just praying in the holy spirit praying to justin's stuff and john thurlow and ross tambambre bay day and just just pray and listen if you're like haha tata then use that trust the mystery you know and turn on some minority music if some new elaborate crazy awesome tongues come out praise god too but i want to encourage you guys in this hour blow out everything the lord's given you and don't come off the holy spirit it's like you know trying to work build a house without a hammer i mean this is one of the major tools the lord's given you and you want to maximize that so praying in the holy spirit if you don't have the holy spirit pray for him to fill you afresh how do you know too there's continual baptisms in the holy spirit you keep on being filled it's not just a one-time deal and so um pray in the spirit stay strong these are ways you can produce oil that's all i just want to give you uh stay deep in the word of god listen deep deep in the word and how do you know the more you read and dive into this thing the more hungry you will become because if we're honest i think sometimes people get a bit just stagnant and dull with the word and they're trying to look for new ways but this book is the book of life it is the living word of god it's jesus on written paper and i want to encourage you guys just even ask say lord let me fall in love with your word again you know i was so awesome justin was talking about last night how they would sing the word and uh in very calculated strategic ways as a team you know for years and and uh there's just something on it pick a book jesus is in all of it i'll stop and be like jesus uh just make this thing come alive you know every day like i i need to be transformed he is the bread of life man doesn't live on bread alone but everywhere that comes out of here so if you want to really live this is what you just glutton on this you can be a glutton on the word of god yeah yeah not not the pizza buffet lines but all those are awesome go for that too when you can but but a glutton in the word and um [Laughter] [Music] old testament new just full of life and so i asked the holy spirit every day like a child let this thing come alive and it's new every time purified seven times over old testament new covenant psalms proverbs leviticus i don't care wherever and the holy spirit who wrote the thing will just you just ask him please make it come alive he'll breathe upon it's like oh my gosh i didn't know that and i'll stop and go real slow i want to encourage you guys slow slow down how do you know when you're on the interstate and you're going pretty fast through certain areas you miss a lot but all of a sudden traffic stops or you get at a red light and you're stuck for a while you're like i never saw that store there i never knew you know and um it's funny i don't know how this came to me i'm so all over the place but me and my son so we like i told you guys we live a lot of land behind us so we found on google earth a pond back there a lake actually and i was like oh yeah we got to find that that looks untouched there's got to be some hogs back there some big fish and uh so we're off this isn't going to connect spiritually at all it just came to me anyway so i'm just thinking like how's this gonna but we're trucking through the woods it was a good two miles back there in like uncut territory woods you know so it's you don't move quick through that spooked some deer we ran into some old indian uh best they can tell stacked stones it's pretty wild we were way out there which made sense when i first moved to the land i went to the dream i don't know anything about that stuff by the way i'm not your history buff i wish i was but even geography i don't know a lot and going to this dream right when we had moved there an indian chief came to me in a dream crystal clear he's got the whole deal like an indian chief and i'm like what's going on man he's real uh bitter i knew because the people that hurt him and i began to tell him if you forgive our people the blessing of god will come upon your land was the strangest dream i came out of it i was like that was weird so i look up sure enough in that region down in atlanta the creek indians were there and uh apparently our people had an agreement with them first and it was a barter thing where they would kill deer and give us skins but the deer got scarce one year and we ran them out of their land and in this whole deal and so it was weird so me and my son ran into some of that stuff which was pretty wild i was thinking whoa and we get back and out in the middle of nowhere it's just an open field with one cow out there i don't know what he's doing out there but he walked up to us he's like walking real slow wanting us to feed him and uh we found the lake and have yet to fish it but anyway if you slow down i don't know how i got there you'll see stuff better and i want to encourage you guys in the word you know slow down and ask the holy spirit you don't want to treat it as like a cheap devotional book and you'll be transformed listen we just did a school on the word the word of god is alive and powerful sharper than any two-edged sword cuts even between the soul and the spirit there's a verse in there that basically says the word of god will reset your soul if you look up the origin and do a word study on it it converts the soul so every time you read the word your soul which is your mind will and emotions this is where the enemy works in he'll he'll sling arrows into your soul and hook them hurts rejections insecurities will you go deep into the word and it can reset your soul all of a sudden you'll start to realize like man that bitterness is gone that unforgiveness of course we pray and release things as well but the word has inherent life and power it'll reset your soul it heals your body the bible says he sent forth his word and healed them it's jesus christ so anyway fall in love with the word go deep in it take your time slow down and i think far too often if we're honest we can look at what we prioritize in life by how we spend our time and so if you're just again not on a condemning way but just out of it like yeah help me lord help me just better align to getting this gold getting this oil and we'll start to look at our schedule and realize a lot of our time is spent with countless hours of things that can be spent towards loving jesus well and so to encourage you guys with that worship of course adoration waiting and stillness all the prayer asking in prayer is big you have not because you asked not but just being with jesus you guys get the point and um i want to encourage you in this hour that we'd be a company that are just taking the advice of jesus to the church of laodicea you know and going after that gold that's so valuable refined by fire the purity will happen and be easier to sustain because we're so intimately caught up with him and watch destiny happen then when you're abiding in him your main focal point is him let me love you well let me know you well the first and greatest commandment is to love the lord our god that's what we're created for as soon as we make our priorities something else you just start to get out of destiny you don't mean to and god still loves us you're still saved but it just happens you know we used to build homes for years and i liken this this topic right here to the foundation of the home it is the uh like the foundation it's everything we'd put more time into the study of the foundation over anything else extra engineering and rebars and you've got to really calculate because if the foundation gets off you may not see it immediately some sometime down the road everything's going to start getting off and that's what happens when we get out of abiding in the vine deeply maybe the whole reason we live is to be abide in him and then from that place love your neighbor from that place fruit happens you guys you guys understand but when a foundation gets off all the sudden may not be immediate it may put the nice granite in and the master bath the women always cared about the kitchen and the closets it was awesome like you had to really bang those up their closet in the kitchen and those can look nice initially but if the and how do you know the foundation is never seen just like the secret place you can't even see this one you see carpet and it's it's hidden go into your closet shut the door behind you you know this is not a place where you get a pat on the back somebody gives you a yeah you did good it's just out of a true place of god i really i was born for this i love you i want to know you more intimately and uh but through time when that gets off you'll start to see like where'd that crack come from in that corner and hold on this door doesn't shut just like it used to you know that window won't stuff gets out of plum and it starts to get off and i think far too often as christians we just patch it up and keep going and god still loves us we're still born again but may we get back to the place of having strong foundations and intimately knowing him having that gold bar barrels of oil and uh invest everything into this place really want to encourage you guys and sometimes it looks as simple as recalibrating like oh yeah lord i didn't know i kind of got off you know i've done this planning you have seasons that you just get busy or you forget and that's okay he's still there going yep love you i'm the true vine come in here come deep get lost in the true vine of him and then sure enough you look back out you're like man i was trying so hard to do all this stuff to make this fruit happen when all i did was start to love you really really well and the fruit happened you guys know what i mean he gets more glory anyway because you realize i don't have anything to do with it anyway and and we can get away from the smoke machines and you know what i'm saying which those are awesome too certainly well that came to me but i'm just meaning the the stuff we do to sufficient to kind of make sufficient fruit that's not really authentic from him and so anyway don't want to belabor the point we want to encourage you guys may we love him so well in this hour however that looks like to you and a lot of times it takes rearranging our schedule i love to encourage people to make just a beautiful secret place at home make it the most valuable closet if you will it's funny our dog bullseye so we have this english bulldog he's he's like i think 50 pounds he's just a big tree stump that kind of runs around and sleeps 16 hours a day snores i knew right away i was like nah he's going in the laundry room he snores too loud and he's a sweetie but but it's funny lately he he i don't know if he watches us or i don't know what he does but he uh he he learned the whole go into your closet and shut the door kid you know he does this you're like where'd bullseye go he goes into his room and they get his you know bulldogs have a flat smushed in face and he'll take it and he'll turn shut his door in there he shuts himself in and i'm like secret place yeah i don't know what he's doing but maybe he's getting away from the noise he can sleep better but but anyway that hidden place of knowing him well yes go corporate yes do the body and the community we love it all but may it be all undergirded by a strong foundation of loving him really really well you know in this hour may we never come off of that may the lord look at us in the spirit go yeah they've got gold all around them pure gold purified by fire because he's a he's an all-consuming god he's all consuming fire jealous god and you get in him and he purges that place and produces pure gold and knowing him so anyway if you want to stand and we'll pray take a listerine oh yeah did you want to share anything i wouldn't think it okay is anybody here you say you you're not full of the holy spirit or you want to be filled it's okay if you if you uh are or aren't you want to be prayed for okay love to pray for you anybody else that may want to freshen this touch of the holy spirit i want to invite you to come up front we'll pray for you guys and and go from there do you want to just back here oh yeah awesome thank you jesus yeah you can just come up front and pray and focus on the lord and i want to pray corporately if that's okay if you guys want to focus on the lord thank you jesus we love you be glorified this morning i pray you do a mighty work this morning holy spirit just rush through this room touch each and every one and i pray for a fresh grace to come upon all of us this morning to love you well to lean into you in a fresh new way to abide in the vine to buy from you that gold refined by fire producing white garments anoint our eyes that we may see as you continue to focus on the lord see that's what else happens when we love him well the ability to see becomes so so much clearer easier and you can see destiny it's so much things become less obscure often when things are obscure in life it's it's the lack of intimacy and so anoint our eyes this morning to see in jesus name
