DESIGNING my REAL LIFE APARTMENT in Bloxburg! | part 1 | ROBLOX

hey guys long time no see I hope you are all doing well now I'm clearly in a different place than I probably was the last time that you saw me that is because I have moved so a lot has happened since the last time I made a video I did take a short break as you guys might have noticed um unfortunately my dog Tippy which you guys might know her she's been in a couple videos before in the past she passed away actually the day after I left my house to start my move here to South Florida so honestly I just needed a little bit of a break and obviously with moving it was all stressful anyway so yeah you also might notice that there is a dog over here she is actually my roommate's dog she's just she's chilling right now we're home alone I'm like 50 moved into here not even sitting on a desk chair right now um you can see everything is just white and sterile I'm working on it we are working on obviously decorating this apartment and Furnishing it and figuring out what exactly we want to do with everything a couple weeks ago when we were looking for our couch I actually started building our living room in bloxburg so that I could see how a couch configuration would work I kind of wanted to try and make our full floor plan in bloxburg and we kind of have an idea of what kind of furniture we want to get so I want to put it all in bloxburg and see if our vision will look right I don't know this is kind of weird but I felt like maybe you guys can be part of the process and you can let me know how you guys like it and if you have any ideas of things that you think we should put in our apartment you can let me know we are just going to see what we can do so I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys what our apartment looked like and from there we will get to building in bloxburg and at the end of this video we can decide how we feel about it if we think that there's things we want to go back and change let's see what we got going on she's really tired but this is Harlow anyways this is what my room is looking like right now that's me I'm not gonna show you this corner over here because there's a lot going on down here it's a lot of mess I don't even have a headboard I'm putting nightstands on either side here this chair that I have right now is my office chair is actually going to go in this corner back here she wanted to say hi over here is my closet and this is my bathroom and that is the door leading to my room my dresser is obviously going in this area right here I have a corner desk there's a lot going on this is the view that is the water over there and then that's the city we also have a nice view of the pool when you walk into the apartment this is what you see this is our little kitchen area and then this is our living room this is the main room we have to figure out what to do with at the moment this is our little end table it was my roommate's nightstand a whole lot of issues doesn't matter this here is our couch and then this is the lamp that is going in my room I've been waiting until I get my bedroom furniture to see if it's going in my room or if I like it or what I don't know so we need to figure out what kinds of coffee table and rug we want we need our TV stand obviously and over here is our mirror from our old apartment yeah we just don't have anything on the walls either okay I'm just gonna go right in and start building I only have 34 000 I don't think I've been on bloxburg in like two weeks so don't judge me I might be a little bit Rusty I'm gonna go in and paint both sides of this wall white so that I can just copy it and it's easy these walls are very very very white right in here we have this little not utility closet but like where are like water heater and stuff is you know like all that and then in here we have a guest bathroom um that looks close enough okay right here we have another little closet which is really nice we have so much storage we have a office space right in here we have a little like stacked Walker and walk washer and dryer yeah so that is basically the front of our apartment our cabinets don't have handles so I think that means that I have to use the modern style our stovetop is electric but let's just pretend like this is it thinking I'm actually gonna extend it by one yeah that looks better so then on the other side we have just an island we're just gonna use that as our kitchen sink it's not perfect but it's fine okay so that's basically like what our kitchen looks like it's at least close enough I just want to get like the color scheme down is that too big right here is the door to my bedroom and then hers is just on the other side see I want to get this right two doors it's about four I don't know that's gonna be my room for now and then on the other side is her room but we don't have to worry about that this is gonna be like our fake door that looks about right I don't know now I do want to go in and add the floor our floor is fully just like tiles and I think bloxburg has the perfect one our tiles are definitely a little bit wider than this but that's fine let's go in and add my closet right here it's probably like that long and then my bathroom is there pretty much looking like my apartment that's for sure let me just add these doors super quick and then we'll get to doing the decorations that we have now got to add a fridge let me do that first so obviously the biggest part is my couch does this look the most like it if I make all of it white actually it's a little bit of an off-white color we have two corner pieces on either side and then one more of those and then an ottoman I also think I need to put a roof on this place it's dark there is a fan what does it look like it's three blades so I guess this is our fan we have some pendant lightings in here another three or four let me go look here here and there there's also a little bit of track lighting I think that's what it's called yeah he's biting my microphone the bloxburg obviously doesn't exactly have the bar stools that we have let me see if I can kind of make it custom I'm gonna use this pillow right here and let's see if we can make it kind of blend into the chair a little bit it's not the worst it's really not that bad so I really just have a super simple bed frame I'm gonna use this beveled Cube here it's kind of just like a fabric but these are obviously way too dark let's make this desk okay we're gonna put a bunch of little cubes okay so there's four posts on either side I shouldn't be using the small grid for this it is kind of a more greenish blue tint it's good enough I also forgot that we have a little end table over here I don't know if this is exactly perfect I think let's just use these little sticky what are they called the sticky pictures I know exactly what I'm thinking of but I can't find it this the photograph I think the only other piece of furniture that we have is that mirror this is what we're working with I do think that this living room is a little bit more stretched than what ours looks like in real life so we want a carpet that at least goes from one end of the couch to the other and then extends a little bit to go under what our coffee table is going to be and we also have a little bit of an idea for the coffee table and then we also ordered a TV stand so I'm going to build the exact TV stand that we got and see how it fits into here so we obviously need to have a custom rug let me add this plain huge painting we're gonna make it as big as possible and see what that looks like under our couch I think this is a little bit big that's going to be a very expensive rug low-key I might add a little Cube back here and resize it to make this room slightly smaller I just feel like it's a little bit too big for scale my real apartment doesn't have this like Edge right here but we're gonna just pretend we're kind of back and forth between doing a rug that's a neutral color or if we want to do something that has a slight color to it nothing too crazy so I don't know I feel like the rug is gonna be super hard this rug that I placed down has a very faint texture it is very neutral as you can see the furniture that we have has black accents to it so something that we might try to do is have these kind of expensive looking like stubs we're just gonna do two vertical cylinders so I don't totally know how we would configure them maybe a taller one would have to be on the outside I don't know we have been through multiple phases of figuring out what kind of table we want for the center I actually already bought one and it's on the way but second guessing if it's what we want but we did order a TV console table so let me make that so this isn't exactly perfect like there shouldn't be this little spot right here but it's okay that's what we had to do so we are only getting a 55 inch TV so that might be a little bit massive and that looks a little too small realistically this is what we have planned at the moment it is looking pretty bare so if we were to put a lamp in the corner I'm not sure what kind of lamp that we want this is what we have right now I don't really like that I think I'm gonna do this one for now there's not a lot of floor lamp options you can decorate houses so crazy all you want in bloxburg but like when it comes to actually buying a house on your own and having to furnish it and starting from scratch you don't realize like how much stuff you actually need let's maybe just throw a plant on here I don't know I think that's what this place is missing right now is just like little decorations that will accumulate at some point we probably want art on the wall there's a couple DIY videos I've seen where people use like spackle and make their own modern simple art I don't know if that's something that we're gonna do or for the time being we definitely need something on the wall up here I just put these as placeholders in case we did try to do more neutral art canvases I'm not sure this is honestly really really really difficult I'm not gonna lie like obviously this is bloxburgs so it's kind of hard to Envision what it actually would look like in real life but obviously I can get a little bit of an idea about how shapes will look is that really all the rugs that they're gonna show me like colored rugs are way more homey and inviting to me but also like just a nice white rug it's always nice you guys are gonna have to let me know see I think I'm gonna go into my room and see how the layout that I was planning on it's gonna work I'm gonna go add a simple little office chair it's good enough for now it gets the job job done obviously the chair that I have for my accent chair that I'm sitting on right now it's not going to be in bloxburg but I can just kind of like put one then my little floor lamp over here and then my side tables what did I order they actually just delivered as we're doing this this is similar to what I ordered hi it's time okay so this isn't totally perfect obviously to the side tables that I got but instead of having to just make it all by scratch I just did this at the moment I don't have a headboard and I won't be getting a headboard for a really really long time but it will be literally just the same thing as everything else and then I need my dresser so I have not ordered a dresser nor do I know what dresser to order um this has been the hardest part of the entire thing I'm just gonna use this one at the moment I think I'm leaning towards having a like a wood dresser now I think I also want to rug in my room no I don't I think that'll be way too much so scratch that I'm not doing that I do have a TV though it's currently in the living room right now so this is the base of my room now I do obviously have my whole setup over here that you guys saw so I'll do it a little bit just because it'll it'll fill up the room a little bit so I do have a little stand on the side where my laptop but I'm not gonna add that I think we can just lick the microphone so my walls I obviously need something above my bed should I just add these exact same things I think that's the vibe that I want for my room okay I think that's her telling me I need to get off of here but that's okay there is one more thing I have been wanting to have a little entry table over here just going around and looking on it like this that was kind of the last Furniture piece that we were looking for it is really really empty like when you see it all furnished in here so we would have something like this in the entryway for like our our bar cart thing like what if we put a nice little entryway mirror in here I also think this wall has a bunch of little like light switch things so we might not be able to even hang anything up on top of it but just for like the overall look like I just want to see Vibe like honestly I feel like that made a big difference so obviously the main point of this video was to try and furnish my apartment this is something that I was just gonna do in Roblox on my own anyway so I think like it's just kind of fun if you guys come along with me and like see my journey well me and my roommate obviously but like our journey of trying to furnish this apart government it's so hard to find things that you actually like that aren't a thousand dollars per item like it's insane so I'm kind of just showing you guys what our plan is that's like realistic first of all and like budget friendly and just like I don't know this is our first apartment outside of being in college so it's like it's just fun so this is what we have kind of going on right now for the living room we are looking into these coffee tables let me know if you guys like them or if there's a different shape that you would suggest and what do you think about the rug do you think it should be white and neutral since we do have so much white and black or if there's some kind of color and then the other main room that was the point of this let me go ahead and add pillows and blankets on here because it's looking a little it's looking a little weird though I know this is very very neutral and kind of like sterile looking again I don't have any of my decorations I don't even I don't own a single candle like I have this thing but I don't know where to put it yet I really want to make sure that I have the right Furniture same with here like we are going to get a rug we're going to get coffee tables and we're gonna compare what it looks like to what our vision was to see what it actually looks like and how it translates in real life so that's kind of the point of this I don't want to fully decorate the entire place yet because I'm not sure what pieces I'm going to have to decorate you know what I mean yeah so that is the overall look of what our apartment is at the moment so the next time I record a video about this maybe I'll have some of these Furniture pieces or maybe I will have found something else and then we can decorate just come back to it like just come along just Journey with us I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did
