Derek Carr & Drew Brees similarities are scary..

this whole situation looks all too familiar Drew Brees and Derek Carr their careers have somewhat of a similar path now you say with Drew Brees you're talking about a guy that played for San Diego for about Five Seasons um you know kind of started slow and made himself into you know a prominent quarterback in the league you know at least top 10 at the at this point in time you'd take a look at Derek Carr he pretty much did the same exact thing you know their car started a little slow year two he started to kick up um and become that franchise quarterback a guy that you could look at as a staple within an organization where things get similar with these two individuals it's not only just the team but the circumstance of you know weird things ended with their previous teams Drew Brees has some shoulder issues and ended up um you know the the Chargers ended up moving on from him uh you know they didn't believe in him same kind of deal here with New Orleans you know I think he had a decent season um you know what he's done for the organization uh of Las Vegas you know he's been the glue at that organization when all they're known for is pretty much chaos and they didn't believe in him what can we expect from Derek Carr in New Orleans let's take a look at Drew Brees's stats here for a second his last year in San Diego he had about 64 completion percentage 3 500 yards 24 touchdowns and 15 interceptions that's his last year in San Diego okay Derek Carr 2022. he had a 60 completion percentage 3 500 yards 24 touchdowns 14 interceptions now I'm not saying history repeats itself but what can we expect from Derek Carr in the Saints Drew Brees went to the Saints turned that team around and they won a Super Bowl three years later I'm not saying Derek Carr is going to do the same thing but you're gonna get a dare car that's pretty motivated you're gonna get a Derek car that wants to prove everyone wrong kind of kind of what Drew did with you know the shoulder thing people thought he was done he couldn't throw anymore you look at the teams on paper I don't know the roster in depth who was on that team for for the Saints but you know Marcus Colston Reggie Bush um I think he had Shockey there for a little bit you look at this New Orleans team of 2022 or 2023 Alvin Kumar League leading touchdown rushing leader Jamal Williams heart and soul of the locker room Mike Michael Thomas is coming back people forget how good of a All-Pro that guy was a pro bowler until the injuries Chris solave is another guy that that comes to thought [Music] Juwan Johnson pretty underrated tight end their defense has always been Stellar you know they have Latimore Tyrone Demario Davis Cameron Jordan not worried about the defensive side but bringing Derek Carr to this organization a fired up dare car at that he's fired up he wants to prove everybody wrong they counted him out he was up there crying on a church stage Leaving Las Vegas he has a lot to prove this season and I just think the story is aligned too well with him and Drew but I believe Derek Carr is going to lead the New Orleans Saints to the playoffs this year I don't think that a of NFC South is very strong I think the Bucks take a step back I think the Panthers take a little step forward but they're not going to be nowhere near competitive I think the Falcons are a long way away from being very good as well and I'm not saying this team is going to be a 12 and 6 you know 13 and 4 type of football team but I could see them going nine and eight I could see them going ten and seven and I believe yo Kamar coming back from his injuries Michael Thomas Chris olave you know you have talent there and I think Derek Carr has an opportunity to show people what he's made of this is what I'm gonna be doing with the channel moving forward is creating you know Sports content um you know anything kind of podcast related is going to be on this channel here so if you like you know what you heard if you have any comments you know leave them down below like the video subscribed if you've found this thing interesting and uh until next time see
