Dentist's Abandoned $7.8 Million Dollar 1980's Mansion

yo what is up you guys ethan back at it again another epic adventure for you guys here uh today what we've got is a big big multi-million dollar 1980s mansion um judging by um kind of the shape of this place it's probably going to be knocked down and they'll build something new here is my guess unless it would be completely gutted and renovated but um we're going to check this place out looks pretty cool what i'm looking at looks pretty good i'm gonna save this until later though we're not gonna start off here we are gonna start the front door like you guys like but i'm not gonna show you what's in front of me right now quite yet so all that being said let's go check this place out okay guys so this is where we're gonna start front door here like you guys like me too now we are in the main foyer of a large house which you probably know what that means what's behind me but we're not going to get to that yet we're going to save that and you know until we get into the video for a bit i can't just show you the one of the coolest parts right away so looks like we have some water damage right down there a lot of cobwebs i'm not sure how long this place has been sitting but judging by how kind of moldy not moldy well that is mold down there you know and i haven't seen the basement yet there's cobwebs i see dead bugs all over the floor um probably has sat for some time but i don't know so that's probably like just like the front family like sitting room maybe um let's come on into here so here is um like the without the main front door but a front door look at all the dead bugs i'm stepping on you might be hearing me crunch them all up can't get in the garage it is locked second entrance to the basement we're going to take the main one later i think and then you just have a frontal closet here whoa i need my light for this you guys are going to want to see this i did remember the flashlight guys whoa wow look at here what is up you guys look at the flowers in here that screams 1984 that's when this house was built i didn't say that this house was um originally built in uh 84. so that makes it 37. this is the first explorer of 2021 for me so hopefully this goes well and we get off to a good start oh there's a little storage closet area get the paint peel on the walls so it's been sitting for a bit you have the old maytag washer and dryer it's definitely been sitting for a little while baseboard heating not a cheap place to heat all right so without showing you the front foyer yeah oh my buddy's in that room so we're not gonna go in there yet okay so that's a friggin epic fireplace if i've ever seen one holy it's massive it's all mirrors look at the mantle bro oh i don't think that's original that does not feel like 80s quality seems newer and cheaper this is like the front office it looks like i just picture like you get your desk set up you got you know sitting in here got a cigar lit you know glass of uh crown royal maybe that's your intercom i love the wood paneling these 80s houses are just so damn cool [Music] so classy you know i'm sure this won't be here for much longer unfortunately all right what do we got here oh wow nice oh wow okay we'll get to that in a second here's a bathroom hey what is up you guys here's the old big corner shower that's dirty doesn't smell very nice in here some more paint peel up there yeah screams in uh mid 80s holy but for you know um a house in it this house in its day would have been quite nice oh there's a sauna what's a mansion without a sauna wow there's the rocks the hose there there's the light nice bench with a little baggie on it who knows what was in that oh we got a double-sided fireplace that's neat i like these french doors everywhere would have been nicer if they were like brown oak would have been more like classy 80s but got a big skylight up there with some water damage there some water damage up there oh it all in here oh man oh look at that right down the fireplace that's gross yeah this place has seen better days i don't see them fixing this i just i honestly they'll probably just tear this down i can't see them wanting to renovate this what's in here sun room so we got a sun room there not going to bother going in there you guys can see it get your intercom the new tone and then you got is this the main basement if this isn't the main basement i'm not even gonna bother no i don't think it is the main basement underneath the housing this was added on yeah it was it's just storage there's nothing in here that might go to the main house but i don't want to go through here i want to go through the main staircase when i show you guys which you guys are going to want to love to see because i know you guys think the staircases in these places are just gorgeous so i'm excited to show you that um okay let's go back in here okay so covered that all right let's go check out the kitchen 80s floor that's for sure and you got again you got you're just water damaged um down there by the windows those are like cocked shot kind of weird look at this get the old new tone scoville music intercom 300 oh my gosh 3003 series don't worry guys i'll learn how to read got the old general electric here that's pretty sweet that one's definitely newer the top one there you gotta fly swatter center island here with the uh sink a bunch of drawers this was probably a dishwasher at one time they took out salvaged it maybe the original floor in here wasn't this i'm thinking it might have been that wood which i like the tile better in the kitchen myself hey what is up you guys got a little mirror action going on back there yeah these definitely aren't the original counters i don't think these don't look 80s to me these look more maybe late 90s early 2000s but these look like the original ones i love how it's open to the fireplace out there that's sweet okay well i'm gonna reveal the stairs to you guys now let's just walk over here let's walk over here let's walk over here all right you guys ready and there she is look at that spiral staircase you've got this beautiful oak spiral staircase you've got um nice glass chandelier up there and you've got a little like lookout area up there which we'll check out that's nice man all right guys let's go check out the upstairs we'll check out the basement last but let's go up here and check her out okay so let's go let's go straight to the back so you got a bedroom probably a kid's room don't you buy those stickers hi hello hello that's cool it's like a mirror that they covered i don't blame them for covering it i wouldn't want a big mirror like that on my wall it's creepy but it's perfect to say what is up you guys just want to claw a cedar closet in the bedroom that's that's usually in the hallway intercom there on the wall i'm not going to stop and pause on the intercom you guys see so many of them i'm not going to bother and stop look at everyone there's no point oh this is an 80s bathroom holy jumping white that this screams mid 80s that's uh holy geez at the cool tile pattern there all the mirrors you can think of like everywhere they stuck up it could strike a mirror in some weird spot they did what is up you guys and what is up you guys double sink that's nice that's nice i like those cabinets the drawers are nice all right bedroom number two um you have is that wallpaper supposed to look like clouds because that's what it looks like and it goes all the way to the ceiling kind of trippy if i'm being honest intercom the big like 80s ball light these floors though these look newer like these laminate floors assuming this is a balcony that yeah it's a balcony okay i didn't know if it was a balcony or just a window look at this view guys is that not just gorgeous i don't know like how could you just leave this vacant man i if i owned this i'd be living here that's gorgeous wow and then like this how it's like the seedlings cut out to go with this half moon shaped window that's really nice and then okay bathroom oh master bathroom because where's the master bed oh it's back okay okay we'll get there we'll get there so you got the jacuzzi tub in the corner with the uh mirror to say what is up you guys you have yeah these flower curtains that those have been here forever along with this light that also looks like a flower you've got a mirror that whole walls mirror what is up you guys and uh heat lamps a lot of people a lot of explorers call those red lights no they're heat lamps so when you go to the shower or the tub and you're not cold you put the heat lamp on and you warm yourself up i didn't even grow up back then and i know that so knowledge my friends usually the dates on the toilet oh it does say 1984. that's crazy that's the original toilet that's a big shower actually never my size because i thought i turned the light on it's pretty regular size actually i like the gold that's nice that's a nice 80s effect um we have a giant closet number one probably his and hers there's his and her a lot of hair down there you hate finding stuff like that it grosses me out yo what is up you guys there's a sink wait why is there a sink here when you have that's a crappy layout why wouldn't you just put and it is what it is i went and designed it that way i would have done the double sink side by side but closet yeah these floors are definitely not original oh where's the master bedroom for sure you've got an old chair with the same flower curtains we've seen in the bathroom that's sweet appear for the most part i mean like aside from these floors and like a couple things here and there like a lot of this house seems original to me like you can see it's got its wear and tear too like look at the wall like where the bed sat for literally years like you can see the place has definitely had its use that is really weird why is there stickers that look like vents taped over what is probably an actual vent i don't know why you'd want to close off a vent where's your heat source if that's shut off that's odd [Music] yeah nice place it's not the biggest house i've explored but it's still very large it is large and um this is the type of stuff i just can't explain it enough i love it absolutely freaking love it so you guys have seen the main floor you've seen the top floor oh no you have not seen the top floor we missed this room what do we got here oh it's huge and we got another bathroom yo we almost missed this old light a little bathroom was a three-piece yeah got a sink got a toilet you got a shower this is the cleanest bathroom in the house and you've got a what is up you guys what is up what is up okay all right calm down let's go check out the basement and uh yeah i like this house a lot very nice all right guys let's go take a trip down to the basement you know what let's do it in one continuous clip i'm not even going to end it go down this epic staircase if you will [Music] okay and we're gonna go around here all right guys my bat just had to check on something make sure everything was all right um let's go check out the basement shall we we got a key for something ooh bathroom 80s bathroom to say what is up you guys oh my god we'll get there what is in that room you guys are going to go crazy this screams 1984 holy sh shoot youtube doesn't like bad words i gotta keep remembering that oh my god this is awesome okay we're not gonna go to the back room yet i want to say that to last what's this a wine cellar with wine still in it what that's wicked oh look at the old kmart bag we even had kmart in canada in freaking 30 years like a water filtration system i think some blinds holy crap got a bedroom i assume with a closet pink closet whoa holy shoot what's up you guys oh my god that's so cool i hope i'm doing all right on the camera work part all right what's back here actually we're not going to go in that room yet there's more down here holy crap there's a whole hallway that's locked we can't go in there that goes somewhere closet cedar closet that's the other basement stairs we've seen okay that door's latched shut we're not going in there oh my god guys there's a freaking pool table holy [ __ ] oh my gosh holy crap look at the sticks are still on the wall sorry the queues the original parquet floor oh my gosh what's this what there's a model of the house what in the world what is that a model of the house what the hell i've never seen anything like that is it like a little dollhouse version of the house what the frig that's so cool and then i mean aside from this gigantic mirrored bar the whole thing's mirrors yeah this one guys is good holy like so the upstairs is cool you get the stairs i thought all right that's cool this basement is just it knocks it out of the freaking park wow what's this oh it's just the uh the heck was in here this basement doesn't end it's absolutely massive i just don't know what to say this is so much bigger than it looks so then i started than i thought it was originally like holy sh wow i hope you guys are enjoying this one as much as i am this is like like look at that view yeah this is freaking cool man okay guys that's gonna do it for that one this place was freaking sweet uh i hope you enjoyed it as much as myself did um we're gonna finish here in this grand foyer here now um this was we didn't even mean to actually this was not a plan to come here today we found this going to another location um went and checked it out and sure enough we were able to uh to do this one so hope
