in this video i'll be showing you how to delete the infidelia cache on your windows computer so i'll be showing you how to do this in windows 10 but it's the same methods in windows 11. by removing the amphibious cache on your computer this will hopefully resolve those stuttering issues you've been having in your games and it can also help improve the performance within your games so let's get straight into this the first thing that you need to do is open up file explorer you now need to go ahead and click in the address bar and do the percentage sign and type local app data and then do the percentage symbol again and then press enter you now need to scroll down until you come across nvidia and you then need to open up the nvidia folder you will now see two folders dx cache and gl cache you need to go into dx cache first and this is the directx cache for infinia you now need to go ctrl a to select all and you then need to right click and go delete you then need to go ahead and press try again and if pressing try again doesn't delete the file then that's just simply because the file is currently in use and as you can see here it says it's currently in use by obs studio and that's correct because i'm using that to record this video so i'm going to have to press skip for now for that file and then skip again because that's obs studio in fact the rest of the files probably will be so i'm going to go ahead and tick do this for all current items and then skip so once you removed all the files within the directx cache folder for infinia we can then click onto the nvidia folder again and now open up the gl folder which is the opengl cache for nvidia go ahead and select everything in this folder again and then right click and go delete so now that we have deleted infinius directx cache and opengl cache we can now move on to infinia shader cache so to access this folder all you need to do is simply go back to the local folder so click on local at the top here or you can simply type in again the percentage symbol loco app data the percentage symbol and then find the infidelia corporation folder and open up this folder next you need to open up the folder that says n fee underline cache you now need to select all the files that are within this folder right click and then go delete and we've now deleted nvidia's shader cache so now that you have deleted the files within those three folders go ahead and launch the game that you are having stuttering issues in or performance issues and see if it has made a difference i hope this video helped you out and you enjoyed it if you did like the video click the like button below and if you want to see more computer sluggish videos click that subscribe button if you do subscribe then i will see you in the next video
