next to the skellington this will be important for later anyway what does wartops do that special when creatures die near him he gains a soul he can eat for hunger but he loses sanity or he can drop them to heal himself and his teammates but like all the other speed runs this is a solo speed run meaning it will only heal me the alchemy engine rush is done i killed a piggy and oh no i carry too many souls warthogs can only hold 20 souls at a time if he gathers more than 20 souls and he drops half his souls and loses a bunch of sani oh wow living tree he's only got this luck in the wx run i'm sorry father terrarium's location has been discovered i just need to very slowly sneak in there and get out without being seen how can i teleport hello second plan utilize my teleports to duke them to the wendy strategy right as the bishop attacks he tries to teleport where you are so right as he does that you teleport away and therefore he misses all of his attacks although the window in which half a fight wow amazing anyway this fight is like just as painful as doing it as wilson except it's more painful because instead of using pierogi i had to catch two stacks of bees so that i could get souls halfway through the fight now since you get souls from killing things that also includes things in your inventory so when i started this fight i had 20 souls and 2 stacks of bees then when i ran out of souls i murder an entire stack of bees and therefore get 20 more souls this effectively gets around 20 soul limit because you can hold 60 but you know the souls are just inside of them otherwise the fight is literally just abusing pan fruits as usual [Music] yeah it's gone no the skeleton's still there the morning star isn't we will remember that i left the morning star there and exactly where i left it next to the skellington i'm sad i have not really thought this out i kind of parked my boat ranks to a pig villages that pig pig villagers don't like me get duped take this pro it back up to max and we're back to normal could you please leave my boat up the hill gaming time i mistakenly start the now cross fight without putting my anchor down so mel trust initiates the fight by heckin pushing me away great boss fight anyway with the anchor down it's pretty hard to kite malbec shots because it has a pretty big aoe attack now whenever malpatrol hits she slightly pushes your boat in one direction so that's why you see sometimes i'm standing behind malbotros also the reason you can hear me spam clicking is because this is when there was a combat bug where if you held f you didn't attack very fast so you have to spam click but it's all fixed now don't worry about it anyway after a lot of tanking and attacking at really slow attack speed the map just finally falls i guess we can go to toadstool it means we need more dark swords though oh i can hear beard hal oh i missed here have some meaty stew just kidding oh my hero thank you for supporting those tree gods beard very cool wow look at all this stuff how did this happen [Music] all right good no more better it's time for crap game now the reason why this one took so long to do is because of that stupid combat bug that happened for days now three real life days later i'm fighting crab king now this fight is like whatever it's fine it just takes longer because you don't have any damage multipliers need more weather planes more ice staffs but otherwise pretty simple and usually i use a beefalo hat but tamo chatter works perfectly well and is especially good for warthogs because since he gains half nutrition from food that means i need more sanity because i have to eat twice as much character so the tamo shout out to sanity regeneration is pretty good [Music] [Applause] [Music] now it's time for something very special in this game the targeting isn't ideal it's not perfect it's quite inconsistent pair that with a little bit of lag and a really finicky boss fight which is fuevo we have to do very precise actions over and over again flawlessly otherwise you get set back quite a bit what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna cut between every time i got mad because i think it's funny otherwise everyone thinks that in this boss fight war talks is really good because like you can use his souls to teleport which means you don't need to use that lazy explorer but that's literally it warthogs is really painful to use in this boss fight because all of the healing minions drop souls when they die so you're constantly overloading on swords which lowers your sanity and once your sanity is low for your weaver like stuns you for like five or six seconds and if you want to restore sanity with food good luck because foot warthogs only takes in half the nutrition so basically sani is a big oof in this fight anyway let it begin oh i'm so bad okay dude if you even music is so good time for infinite souls baby i'm not insane can this shadow creature go away no i meant to practice the weather pain why is he still attacking me why are you still attacking me huh go away what are you doing oh my goodness it's cold oh no oh he still has one up it's got this fight's going really badly if you can't tell targeting targeting cool but i have like no armor to get out but it's fine this game sucks and so does the targeting system clean fight that's the most horrific fight that's ever been recorded ever also i'm just bad at the game so i'll i'll blame that on the targeting but you know you guys know it's actually because i'm just bad at the game all right i'm desperate i'm gonna use the weather pain in the caves which means since it's winter the ambient temperature is below zero and since everything is wet nothing can dry off because it's not warm enough and that's why i put the star cooler staff off to the side so that toaster wouldn't dry out from the start rule of staff heat and we're using a temperature so that i can stay warm for longer and unlocks you in case i get hit and the reason we're only just doing turtles because we didn't have enough volkl horns to make enough weather pains to actually kill him but now we have so it's all good and bag boom he did all right let's get out of here oh i totally yo i could have messed up really badly i didn't bring the eyebrow if it started raining like during the fight i would have actually been done for oh oh you're back again you're where wartox belongs in the ground hello i have learned many things after completing this all boss run with warthogs so overall wartocks in a solo game i don't think is very good i'd much rather play wilson because uh food heals you but for the full amount in a team wartox is amazing but uh yes that's my overall review of warthogs the teleporting is nice for exploration if you don't really know how the biomes generate but if you do that it's not much of an advantage now warthogs old rankings in my old all character review was 9 out of 10 for survivability 7 out of 10 for utility and 6 out of 10 for combat so has this changed i'd say his survivability is still nine out of ten because healing is so easily accessible that it's gonna be pretty hard to die as wartox now his utility depends on whether you're playing solo or in a team if you're playing in the team of like three or four or more people his utilities is crazy because no one needs any healing food you can just use water to heal everyone so in a big team wartox's utility is probably nine or ten out of ten but solo his utility i'd say is below average so four because his healing is nice the food downside is really big when you need sanity such as like against weaver and his combat is fine i'm gonna leave out six out of ten because he can use the souls to teleport and he can heal himself really easily during combat so six
