[Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] live from npr news [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hi guys welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new here my name is ella i'm a freshman at princeton studying neuroscience i came here as a physics major actually but recently switched to neuroscience i'm on the pre-health track and i'm currently on campus living in the res college called madi it's currently monday february 15th i'm gonna be taking you guys along with me throughout my day um i've got classes and seeing some friends and i'm gonna go to the library and things like that um so if you're interested keep watching [Music] is [Music] so oh yeah cjl food is the best so we're gonna we're gonna try and escape out through the hallway but as you get back to the hallway the previous undead victims of the vampire gang keeper are blocking your way so we have to take them down um so first is the elf barton wizard who are gonna help us take down a zombie oh gosh we have to answer the question first okay so um are sniffing and smelling controlled by the same or different regions of cortex different exactly so that smelling study showed that secondary factory cortex on the lateral um frontal lobe orbital frontal lobe is involved in their sense of smell identifying what your smelling is hi guys i just made it back to my room i was at the library for like three hours and it was kind of brutal it's rewriting my neuroscience notes um because i try to do that right after lecture um i like go to lecture write on the slides and then after lecture i write on my own sheet and like make it pretty and it's fun um so i did that and i studied for a physics quiz and i'm about to take right now um and then i'm going to dinner with a friend from last semester actually we met in a class and now we're gonna go get ramen so i'm excited for that um so i'll take my physics quiz and then get ready for dinner i hate physics tests so much but now it's done for the next few minutes i think i'm gonna facetime my mom and my brother that is it maybe read my book for a bit or like go on instagram or be lazy i haven't just like had much time to like lay down and rest today so i might do that for a bit it's been a good day i got a lot done i gotta head on a bunch of homework for the rest of the week for like my spanish class and my writing stem um princeton has this like required writing course for all freshmen that's kind of really hard and um really easy to get behind so i got ahead on that and i got ahead of my spanish class too for the week because last week i procrastinated a little bit and it really sucked so maybe this week will be a little easier fingers crossed okay let's facetime family amelia 107. this way i think this one i think ooh oh wow so uneventful it's my toothbrush i got my toothbrush i got some chocolate since i finished my physics test earlier and it is only 8 40. i think i'm going to watch a movie maybe read my book or something without having more homework which is a miracle never before i have out of those words at this school oh my god um so i'll be um watching a movie taking advantage of this rare opportunity but yeah tonight i'm going to stay up and definitely until 10 because um wow i literally sound so lame i have to stay up till 10 um because i do my kova test at 10. um i can do it in the morning as well but i kind of like to just get out of the way at night um and then tomorrow morning i have my neuro precept so today i have lecture tomorrow at precept which means that that article i read this morning um i can uh we're gonna talk about that tomorrow on precept so that's already done and then after that i have my writing seminar um so tomorrow we're gonna be talking about people's drafts and i've already done the feedback for that so i'm good it's time for like some freaking rest it is 11 30 and i'm tired so i'm gonna go to sleep um thank you so much for watching my day in the life video at princeton and let me know in the comments what other kinds of videos you guys would like to see um from princeton this year thanks for watching
