glowforge it's been running for like an hour or so and so finally it's done so it's nice and quiet again now and it's time for me to start making some of the earrings so i already made and assembled the ones that i ordered from sticker mule they're little charms that i use and i plan on then assembling all the other earrings after i take a little break for lunch so i'm gonna go make some lunch real quick [Music] update again i just finished up making all the earrings and now i'm going to dive into packaging them so this little bit is going to be kind of long i'm not going to speed it up just so you guys can kind of experience my real-time packaging because i know a lot of people like that i know i like watching people do that in their studio blog so without further ado i'm going to jump in and package up all these orders sitting behind me [Music] do [Music] do [Music] do [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hey guys so it is currently two o'clock-ish i have been working all day i finally got all the packages packaged up they're ready to go i still have a lot left to do though i have to take all the photography for all the new products i got in today and made today as well as i have a shift at my other job later tonight that i'm gonna take you guys to as well alrighty another little update i think today i'm also going to try and pre-film and pre-plan a bunch of tick tocks i've been really trying to get back into my tic toc posting game because i was posting like three times a day for months and then that's of course my business then went viral then i kind of stopped because i got lazy and i got tired and i got burnt out so i'm gonna try and make a lot of tic tac posts today as well so i can post over the next few weeks i've been really trying to do batch posting and batch content creation on instagram and especially here on youtube actually today is i think today's march 18th and i have videos planned and ready to post already edited already done up until the first week of april so i think until like april 8th i already have videos ready to go and that is making me feel so much better about being behind on on my other socials so youtube is check taken care of for the next few weeks i even already have some videos filmed that need to go up but that's kind of part of my job as an entrepreneur as i put it in the title but as a small business owner and my age main part of it is social media so i already have a bunch of youtube videos ready to go i have a handful of instagram posts but the great thing about reels now is i can post on tiktok and immediately upload it to instagram so that's really handy for me to do i've heard that instagram isn't really favoring videos that have been reposted from tick tock in their reels algorithm but i'll take that loss it just kind of helps me because i want to post on instagram twice a day starting soon so i'm going to do one actual post and then one reel and posting every day or multiple times a day on tick tock will really help with that the lighting all day today has been a mess i don't know if you guys can hear it in the background but it is still very much raining very dreary day soon i'm gonna be going to the post office i actually have mine big thing of orders this little yellow one's my sisters that i need the brand for so they're all black except for that one yellow one but i've got a lot left to do today like i said earlier i think it's like 2 30 at this point i went through straightened up my desk again kind of organize my earrings but i'm really hoping to get some nice content creations in today as well i also realized that i am completely sold out of my wandavision pins i restocked them just last week and they're already sold out i think i'm going to buy another batch of 10. i don't know if i'm gonna do 20 and i might hold off on it because i do have these little charms that are going up soon as earrings and i'm turning two of them into necklaces because those were things people requested on tick tock so if i when i post those i might add a little comment saying hey should i restock the pins but on average only about 40 people see my videos so uh i don't know if that's going to be a very good gauge of audience i might post a poll on instagram and see but i'll have like yes i'm like yes but in red because i'm always terrified of people being like no you don't want them i'm like no okay so say yes but in red the weather always kind of gets me in a dream mood but i've been gone this week so i'm very excited to get back at it and i think i i mean i've got a lot of work to do so i'm just gonna get started i'll be right back good boy you're so precious oh my goodness i'll be right back update so i think last time you guys saw me i was on my way to the post office so that was really quick i got home and then just before four o'clock-ish is when i got that all finished up and honestly for the past hour i've just kind of been resting i finished making all the earrings i helped my sister with the cricket a little bit now i'm gonna go have some dinner and then do some quick etsy stuff before i have to start my virtual job tonight [Music] [Music] i just finished my work so i made this sign and instructed others of how to make their sign i work at board and brush um i like it it's fun it's just a nice creative way and another job i have i've worked there for like a year and a half now i love it so i just keep doing it even though etsy takes up most of my time and of course school i just really still make a point to still have this job because i think it's fun just it's kind of a break which is weird to say about a job it feels like i'm able to relax and take a break whenever i go to work or do one of the virtual classes i've been doing a lot of virtual classes recently actually i've been doing a lot of girl scout troops however this was a sustainable society of women's environmental protectors something like that so it was very nice to talk to a bunch of women in stem and to teach them some little arts and crafts and painting i made this sign i'm gonna give it to my mom and that's my work for the day i still have to take my etsy product pictures and it is about 8 30 at night now alrighty so i have my earrings and everything i need to photograph right here i'm gonna grab my photography stuff i just use the lights in my room i have these really nice lamps i turn over turn off my overhead lights and all that but i need to do that while simultaneously being in a bidding war for that brown squishmallow guy the cow i really want him and i might spend way too much money on him just as like a birthday treat for myself next month but we'll see so i'm gonna go and take some pictures already so literally my winter photography setup is just a random piece of white paper in the dark so i'm using this lamp angled up so there's not any harsh shadows there really aren't that many shadows oh my goodness there's paint on my thumb i've got this light over here illuminating all of my plants and then i have my overhead light turned off because this overhead light casts a bunch of shadows so i find it best to just use this desk light and any other lighting i have just so that the earrings can be the focus i used to do really complex let's see if i can find some yeah i used to do really complex setups and i kind of want to get back to that but it ain't broke this white stuff just really allows plain white background really allows the earrings to shine through and so they can be very large in the listening photo because the smaller ones from far away you can tell what all those earrings are but those guys you can barely see and i think that's an issue so that's why i went back to using the white product photography is done i'm gonna do a little bit of etsy listing work and photo editing i do all of my photo editing on vsco you'd probably use lightroom but i love fisco i'm just gonna use that alrighty so it is now one of the almost eleven i've got all ten of these drafts done i end up not listing these rainbow iridescent guys until i take better pictures hopefully tomorrow because they don't even look iridescent right now they should look like clear hoops but trust me they are good but i have these all set up and i think my day is over i'm gonna get changed and go to bed alrighty thank you guys so much for watching this is what a typical day in my life looks like when i have one a bunch of etsy work to do and two don't have any classes i am really happy with everything i got done today i honestly was working for pretty much the entire day i took a little bit of a break in there which is of course important but
