good afternoon welcome back to the session the second session just to welcome the chairperson is Kabir Saxena here thank you and before we start we were just going to give a little token to all us speakers with the blessings of the Guru so I just take this opportunity and then I hand over to the Chairman to continue the rest so I'm not reintroducing or anything [Applause] this week thank you so much so ladies and gentlemen we have an impossible task we have to fit 90 minutes worth in 270 minutes I've been told not to prejudice the tea break now unless I get orders to the contrary that will be what we do although it seems a great shame if we have to cease the flow of authentic dissemination from great masters so I hope will be allowed five ten minutes into the tea break I don't know which organizer to look at full mission but I presume the silence betrays consent so let's avoid the tea break joking no no I'm the one who'll suffer the most so thank you they say comma is definite and so I don't know what comma brought me on this stage with such great practitioners of course little help from high places also helps but is said to be some karmic cause I don't know what the collective common cause would be for us to have this amazing opportunity to not only talk about such a great figures guru Rinpoche but in the presence of you know the unimaginable people are actually beings were actually carrying on the lineage the parampara of guru rinpoche para para being defined by some dong rinpoche as a tradition from a divine or holy source from an aria source and which is still coming down in an unbroken lineage from the time of its first disseminator and which does not contradict logic and reasoning so of course some aspects of good ripich's like do defy logic and reasoning like flying in the sky and so forth but maybe there are the levels of logic which ordinary people like me don't understand so anyway we've created the marvelous collective karma to be here together and listen to these great masters one master I've heard before I'm very happy to see in person Neff interview mature whom I've heard about but never met so really it's a great honor for me who is a miserable wretch of the degenerate era to be quite frank so to be allowed this opportunity to introduce such great speakers thank you so much so we'll start now with Nathan choking MHA and if you want to read about Rinpoche it's on page 18 I don't think I want to take any time for that I accept that just to read about Rinpoche is something extraordinary and mind-boggling but here we have in human form a person who is going to share about partner Sambhav a sage of the himalayas so I would request most humbly request temperature to to guide us and to inspire us and enlighten us with your with your presentation so Rinpoche will we'll see how the time goes but I'll try not to interrupt at any point until I see Amitabh Mataji nodding off or something then I will know that it's tea time and so thank you so much master and respect everyone mmm today is very special that we gather here and talking in conference about the lab of Thomas and our Naropa massamba was actually very was and very big it's really difficult to talk in a very short period of time but still that we had to few things about kombucha and I who are my limited mind and thought that what is important FEMA teams from God watches life and I will try to talk and actually awarded few things here so that I won't say unnecessary things in such a short period of time so we I don't want to as enough time so I will start by the reciting one of the well-known prayer to Thomas Aloha it's the great independent who is Congress 40 bedskirt the one born from lotus whose body is born but in death right now trimming the subduing in russia of the southwest the pressures on duty honor to you replay so actually this player says whole like Optimus Ambala in a very short form but actually there is many different life stories about Norman Boucher we say is over thousand life stories of the group which I'm a Samoa some of the stories actually told by himself and some hope the stories actually didn't by his followers so anyway love stories let famous Ambala is mainly we have to understand and two different ways one is the our ordinary way of telling without our within our capacity of understanding with our normal and limit limited human mind the other way the other way is to go beyond our intellect which is limited to our mind we have to understand with the open mind before he came to Tibet he was already living in the India for many hundreds of years according to the Nirvana Sutra the Buddha emphasized about the tomasulo's appears twelve years after his passing away this means that Thomasson bhava was already thousand years in thousand years in India before he comes to bed those things are doing our normal intellect so we have to understand his life within with open mind actually it is not just about the misawa but to understand in spirituality we have to go beyond our limited mind in the eighth century sizzlin Goodson is the rule Tibet he becomes the king at the young age of 15 ever since he become the ruler chiseled Edson had been fighting worse with the inhabiting traps in the countries he had been continuously fighting battles for seven years when he was when he was 17 years old he came across this scripture the Sutra this true sutras had come into his hand of his ancestors the King taught rotary through his past karma empty so that's instructed we have interest in Dharma he sent his invite to India to invite de santa rosita who was the abbot of nalanda university the Malouda abbot come to tibet and he taught mainly the sutras they had buddhist temple the source of gamma stem around the 7th century but the dhamma had not rooted in tibet to some desi realize that for the Dharma of flourish inland there must be a Sangha a community of practitioners with this thought in mind to Soviets in wanted to make attributes first Buddhist monastery he wrote this ministry to be a place where the three jewels the Buddha the Dharma and the Sangha the objects of devotion for this purpose he started building a samye monastery but the local spirits were not support of the Kings wishes they tried their best to make sure the ministry was not built whatever the name built in a dead town the spirits will destroy in the night time the spirits created diseases and imbalance in the weather in the brought suffering to the people who then started blaming the Dharma for their suffering this lead to the people not wanting to involve anymore in the activities connected to the Dharma the King felt helpless and hopeless but Santa Rosita told the king that he should not worry about because there is a solution just hearing that the king was already very happy and looking us what can we do and shinza rachida said there is pundit called Emerson Dawa he is born miraculously from the lodgers he is right now in good gawa and you must invited him as I said before a group which he has many different versions of the life story and there is some of the story he was born into just miracle early just appear in this wall and sometimes he is the one of the son of the king and there's many few conversions that like I said before we have to understand the imagine being said that in the legacy is beyond our normal intellect mind so for general for the Himalayan people - so Pema Sumbawa is no is born in the Lotus it is said that the Misawa appear in a different parts of India in the same time but having a different names all these different manifestations we are crying crying out different activities in different places one day he came to put God to offer process to the Buddha well there he miraculously manifest many wonderful offering to the Buddha's roger seat where the buddha had a seat in becoming latent san francisco misawa and asked him who is your teacher in india student has to have a lineage which is his teacher and teachers teacher Thomasson baba tells this man that he has no teacher the man is shocked he tells the misawa that without authentic teacher in an authentic lineage you must be a demon then permison baba then realized that in order to convince and help sentient beings it was very important to come down to the ordinary level and it was important we have a teacher in the lineage he then goes to different parts of India to study with the different teachers and he had Mauritius both male and female but they ate vidyadhara of the India are the his main teachers he even study medicine art in carbon trees basically history many different things this the seven invoice sent by Virgin King chisel Nelson and Thomas Ambala mitten boot gaya on a meeting there 70 Burton Thomas and Allah knew that it was very important for him to go to Tibet he accepted the invitation to go Walborn Asim Bajwa was in Nepal on the way to Tibet the spirits of Tibet in Nepal were already getting nervous and irritated on hearing that the misawa was coming to Tibet their spirits carry many obstacles for permison boa on his way to Tibet the masam Bawa sub D many spirits along the way he not only sub didn't but also taught them the teachings of the Buddha and met them protector of Dharma and the guidance of the Dharma practitioners when they first made the tibetan king thought that the massamba will pay him homage by depositing to him the muslim Baba does not mind prostituting to anyone but in order to Tim Tim the Tibetan kings ego in order to Sarah BA in auspicious beginning and to show the king the winner in importance of the Dharma he purposely does not post her to the king in order to tell the king said arrogance he shows him this subjugating mood Allah with his finger it builds the courts of the Tibetans King the king and his retinue seeing the powers of the Thomason Bawa prostrate to him the auspicious condition had been set up for the Dharma pundit Sundara cheetah and Thomason Bauer and the Dharma King Tizen debts we call them Caleb Chisholm the commune together of this three people especially determined Allah brought a revolution in Tibet some Internet jokingly say that decline of the Tibet started up to the arrival of the masala in Tibet this people right from their own point of view because Tibet was a big in empower the Muslim Baba first arrived slowly the Tibetans becomes less and less interested in the worldly matters especially fighting battles to expand their territories basically anything to do with the harming the surgeon beings and their Tibetans had no interest the entire land adopt the Buddhist teaching permison Bawa brought the teachings of the Buddha I am taught studying from the King to the everyone it was common sight to see people flying in the sky go through the walls leaving footprints champions importance on their worlds and groups and becoming a rainbow bodies therefore the entire lent was a film with the special beings those were their first maecenas until now there is continuous streams of the Masada's all over the Himalaya you will see the science of the Maha siddhis who had followed the footsteps of the misawa even today there are some hidden masters in some not hidden masters I myself a fortunate to some masa does in 21st century and witness their compassion and the qualities of the Bodhisattva we have also witnessed some miracles from those masters Thomas Ambala established all of the Buddha's teaching the sutra and tantra he categorized the entire teaching of the buddha into a nine Yanis permison bhava invited more than 100 and it's from india including the luminometer thomas Ambala also true unity but in lots of us a translator teaching them solid so that there lots of us could communicate with the indian pundits the indian pundits in the tibetan lots of us translate not only the teachings of the buddha but also the commentaries by indian pundits and mercy does on the Buddhist teaching Sunday ministry was a successfully complete it become became the treasure house for the precious teaching of the Buddha within the complex of samye monastery there were different temples in structures some areas were used for the translation some were used for the meditation some are used for the expanding Dharma in some parts where the most used in there were place also for the layer male an female pettishness there are the laboratories the printing where Buddhist texts were translated in copy and story well they been really painted atisha who was the airport of the commercial a university came to tibet in 11th century he was immersed in the core collection of the Buddhist texts in the samye monastery he thought that he had seen and study all the Buddhist texts that ever exists but there are some takes a semi monastery that was seeing for the first time the Buddha Dharma was like the sunrise in Tibet all the teachings of the Thomason Bawa and the happened it's passed down from the teacher to student an unbroken village up until now we can trace back any teachings that we have received stop straight up to Thomas and AMA all the way to his own teacher we don't accept any teachings or practice without any authentic lineage during the term of the peninsula in Tibet it was perfect him to bring the Dharma from India because very soon around the 20th century the Nalanda University will be a destroy and the buddhadharma in the decline states it is thanks to Thomas Aloha that the entire Himalayan region was open to the teachings of the Buddha especially the vagina Thomas Ambala the specialty is the term or treasure tradition the treasure tradition is very effective and an intelligent way of preserving and propagating petitions in building benefit at the right time as we all know term in situations are changing all the time this is the nature of samsara they have been great changes from the time of the Buddha up until now they know new things have come and many all things have been disappeared permison baba designed the thermal system so that petitions can be revealed and come out in the right time in the himalayas since the term of the tamozawa up until now they have been many changes but because of the thermal system the teachings survive and stay authentic permison Baba's treasure are not just the teachings he also hide the goals in worlds and Timon needed and also later Shikamaru a mission in earlier about hidden lands Kibeho the humans where the people can find a refuge from the war in the environmental disasters also there are many purposes but Thomasson bhava regarding the future he set up in design everything for the futures region beings but they at the same time how much it will be woke depends on how much we will be able to follow his instructions it is like in the instructions from the good doctrine it is important to follow the doctors full instruction to get a good result the Buddha said I will show you the path to liberation but liberation depend on it upon you since the Muslim Baba came to tibet until now some period in the term will follow his instructions well in some period we could not follow really well his instructions most of us are clearly aware of the results of the not following his instructions and well we also know very clearly the benefits of the following his instruction many of us around the world who know in follow in the footsteps of the parmesan Baba he is father figure in the guide he is someone you can rely 100% he is someone who is always there for you those things are not streaming from the blind faiths this faith and confidence in dependence on Baba comes from the experience of the following his instructions per Muslim bharwa himself said for those who have faith in me I sleep in the your doorsteps this is his promise Thomasson Baba is not just the spiritual guide he is also someone who is there for you in our mundane world life there is a prayer by him called dispelling the obstacles this player dispels all sorts of obstacles in our life for example one line in the prayer is asking AMISOM Baba to help with the travelers to safe journey even for such a small matters such as a travelling there is prayer to him similarly for every problems he is there for you this is why he composed this pea this is just a one example there are many other players in practice by permison Dawa basically he will be there for you studying from the small obstacles to the something very big after finishing the all the his activities in tibet and he wants to go to tomorrow the land of the rushes the tibetan will request the massamba to stay back and guide them but he and that he had done everything for them and now it was attempt to turn for him to go to Chamara to subdue the king who was going to harm surgeon beings especially the people of our world permison baba said before they become out of control in bringing suffering to the other world our help to go and subdue them as of now he is still in samara subduing determined directions when he was living Tibet he consoled the Tibetans by saying there is no beautiful said even though I am not physically in this world I am always there for you because I am being but in death if you want to follow me then practice the Dharma almost everyone in Tibet become serious petitioners taking an example of the single monastery like the Kotok within the single monastery they are more than 100,000 practitioners who EgyptAir in the body this took place many years after the permison Baba had led Tibet also in thoroughly in Bhutan under the guidance of the great masters longchenpa they had been many practitioners who attend temple bodies so this is just the true example of the monasteries but there is thousands of monasteries and not only that there is hidden practitioners that who keep the enlightenment without anyone notice becoming a rainbow body is one sign of the spiritual accomplishment the body dissolve into a Dharma Tata the body dissolve into the true nature the land was a full of enlightened beings it is like the story when Thomason Dawa moved to the land of organ in India he taught the people they're studying from the king of Fujian to the north subject they've become his student the entire length become empty because everyone was in Latin and had a cheap durable body Parmesan bara went to many different places to help beings we are aware of some lengths that he visited and there are also places that we don't know what we know for sure is they visited all over the Himalayan regions it is very clear that he is visited those places because their culture and their festival in their holy places of those areas are all committed to the permison Dawa from the culture to the spirituality aspects permison bhava is as a setter with all today around the world there are millions who follow in the permison Bawa footsteps he benefit us in many different ways brought in worldly and spiritual ways mean we'll never forget the kindness of the Indian Maha pundit chymosin bhava it is very auspicious that we are all gather here today talking on the life in the legacy of the Kamisama hua in this own land and allowed to say thank you to the old organized to for this event because it's a earlier this we say that even the permison bow is very well known in Himalayan regions all our cultures in spirituality everything is connected with the Guru Padmasambhava so even though it was very well known in Himalayan regions but that in now in all over the world the premise on tawa is very well-known but in India and his own place is very limited to his life stories so I think that Thomason Baba is such a important for specially for the future searching beans in the future people so so I think it's very auspicious that we are getting here today and we're talking about this and thank you thank you very much attentively new protegee especially for reminding us of a limited mind and that much of this is beyond intellect but it's that Patna Sambhav and his kindness also decided to show that he had a lineage and also reminding us of the collective karma of beings in his time when they could see marvelous signs like flying Yogi's and footprints nowadays of course we have different flying machines and have to be careful of our carbon footprints but we're in a different time and Rinpoche has reminded us that if we actually practice the teachings of Guru Rinpoche then maybe we can change karma of ourselves Palmer of our planet so thank you very very much Rinpoche ji and now young gaming Julian PO che is going to speak on the life and teachings of Guru Padma Sam Bala Rinpoche is I think very well known now for his teaching so his books which I myself have also partially read and found very useful especially since they contain actual dialogues and accounts of member chezj meetings and teachings help given to actual students around the world people with problems like you and me Sandra mature is very clearly in his book shown how the buddhadharma can help such beings especially since room became himself said that he went through much difficulty as a young man with panic panic attacks and so forth and how he coped with that also I think Rinpoche example of leaving his monastery and wandering for three years or so just just just leaving getting up and going was an inspiration to many people after the initial shock and I think it seems like remember chase guru his eminence ic2 Rinpoche ji was was happy that which I did that living the monastic ray not the monastic but the bureaucratic regime of a monastery which requires a lot of you know certain kind of looking after and just wandered and met with so many people and faced hardships just like the Yogi's of old so anyway without further ado Roger please guide us and inspire us with your talk life and teachings of Guru Padmasambhava thank you very much for Jesse Kabir not excited as you know my story Tashi Delek for all the Venables brothers sisters oh yeah hello I think it's we don't want to tell you today so at least take as much time as it takes me what you really want to see 20 minutes yes okay so the live-in teachings about the Crimson power so that's two topics so to him because of the limitation time should I focus more about the life or teaching raise your hand live ah kissing okay so as we all know about the in this morning and now knitting channel mature discuss about guru purchase life story so the practice the practice of the main part main teaching of gulp Amazon power is to connect with the our fundamental nature the pure awareness Sigma primordial wisdom so this pure awareness primordial wisdom is deathless why is it unborn so there's no beginning so no you're not going to die but of course for us we are getting all sick die isn't it but the Kusum which is said these are you lucian just like in your dream you can become sick all and died but this all illusion so how are you looking free that the most important thing is dub wisdom for example if you have nightmare anybody who had have having nightmares sometime raise your hand me too sometimes so we all have nightmare so let's say you go to the Himalayas you know Himalayas is not you know what we think so nice Wow a lot of very nice but the journey to the Himalayas mmm not so nice the trails you know tiny and there's a lot of wild animals lens light suppose that you go to him you want to go to Himalaya and you're into Himalaya and one day you have wonderful dream in the Himalaya that you are having samosa you know there's no samosa in the Himalayas where I've been to in the Himalayas not easier to find samosa this morning we had nice samosa so you're missing some and finally you get samosa in the Himalaya mountain someone offer you a nice samosa and you really want to hit some massage you know so this is a very very special so I want to offer this group immerse empower the samosa I know there's some practice so practiced um you know guru mom pays a guru padma siddhi hum separa water cannot serve the public eye and you offer some more sign with the closed eyes but certainly in the himalayas as a big bird and when big bird come while you close your eyes offering this samosa - guru panda some more big big bird to be a sore muscle so now you might cry in your dream right so not only that there's a while there's Tiger lepers in the Himalayas lens light so a lot of problem so when you having this dream in the Himalayas so what is the best solution to free from this dream without wake up any answer without wake up to note that is a tree yeah that's the best solution to know that you're dreaming then the wild animal cannot eat you and you know that samosa is dream when the bird to us almost okay yes and also you know it's dream you can make another samosa right so you don't need to follow the rules of the dream when you recognize this so similarly the what guru premise about the main teaching is all this a lie dream so being born getting all sake died is a dream but if you totally recognize this then you will achieve as children person mentioned member body or tethers body so there's a lot of legends that could remember somebody live thousands ears right so there's a lot of stories even like their mas there's a lot of tech repair my son but himself mentioned that I was born from Dan Akasha lake by from the bone by lotus flower or I certainly manifests on the sheer pata in Sri Lanka certain manifestation I was the son of the king might be Orissa somewhere there's he was being born as normal family so these are lot of mysteries so for the dream it doesn't matter right but if you really want to buy scientifically if we really want to locate it we're good massamba was born I think this will be the big discussion I think so we have to continue to discuss about that okay so now the main teaching about the Guru Padmasambhava is to recognize who we are and how about our life in this world so main thing is about the wisdom so there are as soon as you mention the Guru Padmasambhava Khattak categorized all the Buddha Dharma as nine Yanis the shaka potato pada put sat wah and then tia UBA yoga and then also maja annuity so total nine and this nine Yana is include entire Buddha Dharma so Buddha taught 84,000 different teachings what we call everything include in this nine Yanis and and also good and massamba has a different manifestation right so all this different manifestations is kind of a life story about how God by massamba learn this nine years like begin by guru Shakti Singh ha which has he learned from the the basic Yana Shalaka particle Buddha and Buddha sadawa tram all this and all these manifestations but main focus is about three yoga's my yoga and yoga attack at the yoga so my yoga is based on the developmental stage with we have this imagination power we all have do you have imagination right without imagination you cannot come here right and without imagination you cannot go back the imagination has image in our mind there's a words image and there's some sensation and this memory all this work together so this imagination has great power that we can transform our life even our body even our perception of course we can transform our emotion thought everything through this imagination power of imagination do you wonder how many of you know strawberry of course you all know strawberry right how many of your life strawberry raise your hand orange how many of you like orange okay orange more stir berry more orange mmm strawberry more orange I think okay now pull your hand like this close your eyes and imagine that the best orange is in your hand fresh nice smell and with leaves okay so now bring close to your mouth as if you're going to eat orange mmm okay now over your eyes how your mouth full of saliva yeah so automatically it will produce saliva in our mouth actually there's more orange in your hand or Lance does not exist but a power of the imagination when your mind imagining there's orange a change in your body so it produced a saliva so similarly the myoga the main focus is about the developmental stage the the visualization so there are lot of text sadhana more than three or four thousand different sadhanas and lot of them while guru padmasambhava in tibet she taught these teachings and the most of them i would say 90% of them he put into the rocks lake disciples mine so what we call teshuvah so the t-shirt there's a touch' from the earth from the water from the mind from the vision from the sky so many different treasures so still now these are living lineage still we can have we can see new captain determines treasure revealer and they all have the sadhana the practice and most of them are composed by a guru padmasambhava and all this the unique thing is all this different sadhana many thousands of sadhana the the wording the meaning the poem said just like one person wrote all this it is not that our normal develop like we can study about how to write poem in tibet we have been a volume text but it doesn't fit into that category their room the Goomba justat sadhana all the Texas very experiential got Danny to your heart is based on the meditation the wisdom so it is simple many is very important vas and go direct to the heart so so all this many of them are the practice of Gautama symbol himself so there's not so many the the masih does or scholars they wrote about them the practice of themselves but the guru Musa most of them other so then the main practice development of men practice is imagining equality the wisdom compassion the awareness clarity of the enlightened being mix with imagination skill imagined and imaginative way right now with your body so that's the image of Guru Padmasambhava here so when we imagine we need to imagine like moon reflection appear in the lake not solid no real so that is what we call de fashion its emptiness so you will have direct experience of emptiness but then you have to aware there's awareness schemata practice and while you want to practice this to want to benefit for all beings so that's the voltage EDA and also the quality of enlightened like vas the beyond conceptual wisdom primordial wisdom the pure awareness boundless love and compassion you can imagine those right for the imagination level you can do anything you cannot experience right now but for the imagination or you can experience so all this combined together your imagine right now I but ma Sumbawa can you do that do been to try maybe we can try so please keep your spine loosely straight and close your eyes and you all have this enlightened quality of what we call Buddha nature the scar the garbha and that scar the garbha there's no difference between you and burma Sumbawa and all the enlightened beings that is your your true nature who you are so actually you are but mass Ambala so now please imagine or feel that you are but no samara I am enlightened being my body manifests as gorgeous body like moon reflection in the lake and don't worry about clearer picture the form and color is not so important the most important is the sense of the enlightened quality with you right now now I have this bounders of wisdom and I'm feeling boundless of love and compassion I'm the embodiment of all the enlightened being what we call Hydra pride okay now you can open your eyes how was it who are you are you playing some ball for the imagination world yes but don't tell this outside you know when you go out nicely meteor IM perma sambhavana for the religion we are not yet father for the absolute level yes so that is the developmental stage the essence of the Maha yoga and second is a yoga I mean over is connected with the the body the prana Bindu Nadi working with the body and that is there in the guru mooches teachings but he didn't emphasize too much about the unyoke is there but it's quite risky sometime if people don't know how to practice well you might become crazy and then now the most important part is adiyogi the adiga is direct connect to the primordial waist of the pure awareness which is we all have the mind right do you mind I'm gonna over your mind raise your hand I want you to do more exercise with your hand you know um who have mine and how many of you don't have mine so you all you're both right those who said I have mine of course you have mine right those who said I don't have mine of course you don't mind so actually our mind is combination of this to the real nature of mine is there exist you can hear you can smell you can test and there's thought comes emotion comes everything comes and goes but itself untenable it's empty we cannot really define it we cannot really grab it it is unborn there's no beginning but thought has a beginning emotion has a beginning perception is the beginning and these are changing changing changing so what we call the mind is light sky sky is always pure present unborn so sky cannot die but the sometime sky is allowing the cloud right pollution also tap on the pond right type of working so everything is here in the sky pollution cannot change the guy that stone you cannot change guys guys always present in the pure so our fundamental nature of mine just like that and this is always present we are talking within this primordial mind thinking within that state seeing within that state eating samosa within that state but we don't know so we don't see that test of what people ignorant is there with you but you don't see it so therefore the best teaching for the mati is recognition to recognize your own true nature so then that is telomerase knowing one liver is off so just the essence of yoga teaching guru budgets teach you so when I was young I was born in a path in the Himalaya mountain so the first one of the first my mantra for mese omong basura guru padma still the first mantra is guru Samantha in my village everybody practice that and I am having panic or nausea not happy so I try to pretend to meditate but I have no idea about meditation so what I do is I choose some mantras so one of them is a mound by circle to Kumasi to recite in the mind and in my hometown there's a lot of changer referred in the past so there's some cave nearby cave there's empty Hall which is treasure which is revealed by one of the Tetons in the past and there's a treasure sign or so we can see anyway there's a sign of badger a cross so and in my life I also met great captain Tim questions are modulating which intimacy which is revealed the treasure from the mine from the Earth from the lake which is the living death and that I met and also in Tibet we have great what will legends of emanation of group M asam bhava so one of the my teacher died pseudonym but she is the thought but my tongue in speech of the Guru Buchi so total there are six of them now my digitized images for so tumor will come in the future so this prophecy this other life so living tradition still now so I think I hope this through this conference you will get some connection with the life and teachings of Guru Padmasambhava and to benefit for you and all of you and thank you very much for all the organizers this is really happy to be participating q very much thank you very much for virtue for that helping us to engage in a few exercises that make it come to life in your own inimitable style thank you very much indeed now we'll move on to Grandpa sanam couture GG what does your name mean what does Homer mean this is a family name okay okay maybe I should have read properly this so grandpa taught AG yeah whom I might have seen in Nepal but I forgot chief spiritual adviser of Buddha not stupa so educated the songs are shed draw the dialectics in beer probably at what is now Deer Park small what is now Deer Park Institute and it's traveled extensively India Nepal founder of the gagarin quorum foundation and a school in dal PO offering free education to children from nearby villages undertaken projects for health care environmental protection and sustainable Community Development for pastoral communities in that region so remote AG we don't have a title for your talk so you'll have to tell us than I can okay the legacy of Guru Rinpoche in Bhutan so venerable please enlighten us and inspire us with my devoted respect to our eminence Reema chase and then venerable gaseous chemical Asst brothers and sister I would like to extend my Tashi Delek greetings to all of you so my topic of the presentation is the contribution or the legacy of guru Padma some problem related to Bhutan why I chose this topic is because my respect my love my feeling for this wonderful country Bhutan I've been hearing from many different scholars about the life legacy of guru Padma Sun power in different locations from different scholars and figures but what I notice is that the great deal of you know activities related to Bhutan of guru padmasambhava is not much discuss and talked or heard about so I thought it is really important to talk about initially I didn't know there are so many you know there's so many participants from Bhutan you know all these scholars and great teachers and masters by anyway this is my love for the country and it is my wish that I wanted to so accordingly I prepared and then I'm here from from Nepal representing SEMO Saraswathi the daughter of Catherine regime so without any further delay I would like to go with my presentation so I began with the point the beautiful partner sample one photo that I have I would like to show to all of you and then I begin with this let me begin with a little bit about the country button as you know the kingdom of Bhutan is located in the Eastern Himalayas bordered by the tibetan autonomous region in the north the second state of india and the chili value of tibet in the West the Arunachal Pradesh state of India in the east and the states of Assam and West Bengal in the south Patong Jo blood politically belongs to South Asia and is the region's second least populations populous nation with its 800,000 roughly about eight hundred thousand inhabitants proton was always an independent country it has never been colonized in its history the protonated state developed a district distinct national identity based on Buddhism proton was for a long time in isolation and its name became known worldwide while only after the vote King of Bhutan King Jimmy syndrome aren't you knowing the term Gross National Happiness in 1972 and today that gross national happiness is more important than gross domestic product the kinds of implies that the sustainable development should take a holistic approach to as nation of progress and give equal importance to known economic aspect of well-being is it okay sorry mm-hmm forward for okay I'm using this arrow yeah okay so this is the next photo I I forgot it anyway the concept implies that the sustainable development should take a holistic approach to us no notions of progress and gave equal importance to non economic aspects of well-being the idea of Gross National Happiness Jane also captured the imagination of others far beyond Putin's borders in 2011 the UN unanimously adopted a General Assembly resolution introduced by proton with support from 68 member states calling for a holistic approach to development aimed at promoting sustainable happiness and well-being let me begin my actual presentation with these curious questions how is it possible that a small country like a proton has never been colonized how can be that it became the last standing Vajrayana buddhist kingdom and is regarded to be the happiest country in Asia and eight happiest country in the world so I would like to begin with these questions the photo is of eight manifestations of Goomba chain if we look at okay so in my presentation I would like to also stress a little bit about you know some of those criticisms not only talk about you know those miraculous activities and amazing legendary sort of you know things that Guru Padmasambhava did but also we should talk this is very important I think that those elements opposing guru but you who went against guru misshape you know it's kind of so know what you call it even written for good done this has also happened and nobody talks about it I'm not too instan involved in any sort of controversy or create as some kind of you know any kind of sectarian issues or whatever but I really feel these issues are important really important to be talked and discuss so I'll be also stressing stressing a little bit about these aspect in my presentation if you look at the early Tibetan sources we find that the spirits of Bhutan were subjugated by the dodgy Tory from those it was a form of partisan power in parrot oxen the tiger nests cave this even was described in the Catalan literature and numerous other sources but I'm a lamb plus bipartisan Bevin is the perfect place for practice it is the last resort where virtually no practitioners can practice without obstructions it is the most suitable place for spiritual realization and in the College of the Tantra route Tantra there is a prophecy scene where the king follows the Dharma and his subject relying solely on the Dharma that place is either for practice and for living in happiness without conflicts so this is a quoting from the Kalachakra Tantra the ideal situation described in the prophecy is seen by many great masses of Tibetan Buddhist tradition to be similar of Putin so it could be also indicating Putin in the prophecy because the four abundances what we in our language called terms okay she are all present here in this country the four abundances are the things of Buda that we have the complete package in Putin pursuits pleasure and liberation okay so my presentation is not just simply I'm expressing my what I think or what I imagine my statements are all based on a text buying the maximum the maximum is one of the 25 disciple of Guru Padmasambhava and this text was actually revealed as a theorem on the treasurer teachings later by which example another Tilton so it is about the story you know that many of the early speakers keep on telling about the king Cinda Raja from Bunton Bhutan so the taxes are all about the stories of the three kings in the Roger and the coming of goombah chained to put on so it is very clear in the text that you know the first visit of Guru Padmasambhava second visit of Guru Padmasambhava all are very clearly mentioned in the text so I'm my source is there much amongst x.r available example Tilton and the texts are also fortunate that one or from one of source I got the copies you know just lately so I prepared according to the text okay so these are the true or early temples in Putin during which built by King or swims in Campo during which the the Dharma the Buddhism was introduced to Tibet so in the city seventh century during science encompass time Buddhism was introduced to put on and two temples were built the John Paul Hawken and the cage will happen in peril a group of history historical research experts including - dr. camapign so here with the help of our different authentic sources confirmed that 750 ad was the exact year but Muslim Bala went to Bhutan for the first time 7-eleven 62 was his second visit to them - this second visit to pretend traveling from mountain through yearning Shambu jota and kim balloon then to boomtown so these details are all found in the ottoman stacks one of the names also scale symbolises biography and our prophecies title clear cave near was written by the maximum late eighth century so burning late eighth century one of the Patna symbols 25 disciples who accompanied Patna Sumbawa on his journeys and noted down events and waves of his teacher this was discovered as a theme of teaching by petal audience uncle who was a student of Darjeeling pan and his biography the darshan salmonella is also mentioned in the in his discovery the text raccoons okay so this is the current temple which is built on the rooms where even in Cinderella's castle what you call that jaakor the palace used to be located so the text becomes the story of Cinderella Jay King Simba Roger who's originally a prince of Kapilavastu because of his misbehavior he was expelled by his father and then migrated to boomtown to become his ruler and lived in jacker this is the the jacker the photo shown and I'm the Ivan Castro simple Raja fought a war within Indian king- who was a follower of but with some power in which symbolizes son named that no member was killed more than which he may be mediated between these two kings okay so this is the pillar erupted elected by to commemorate the odd you know during the peacemaking so the the pillar is still there in boom - sorry don't sir district erected by Gucci but Muslim Baba for the memory of taking oath taking an oath to keep the peace but miss imbaba erected a pillar with an inscription I'm not sure whether the inscription is inscribed on the stone or not but that inscription is found written in the tax des mots amongst tax so I would like to cite that also which can be still seen today and in terms our district in a place called nuttin which means the earth ground on the north side of the pillar there is a pillar with the Padma's empowers handprint next this is permissible same print as a witness and then under is doing some garages this is Linda Rogers handprint on the South the darkening the the daughter of the king cinder Raja this is her handprint as a witness and then in the east you know what she the opponent King his handprint so I have all the evidences according to these sources quotation from the single Rajas biography and prophecies regarding the pillar okay so this is the inscription all the kings are the kings of India and moon referring to put on particularly boom tongue at that time all the kings of India and Moon were their ministers and subjects whatever change time would bring when you come across this earth pillar men should dispute it this is my loosely love translation however we break it it would be a challenge to me Padma referring himself but no some problem may all the gods and spirits of the world instantly draw the heart blood and cut the life of those who dispute this off pillar so it is said that publish on problem conceived 30 different types of their mass treasures in the area of not on the old ground and gave the empowerment of the 8 helices to the talking's so this clearly tells that much before Tibet the highest form of tantric practice and teachings were given to the patinas kings and his followers during Gulen which is first visit according to this tax after his visit to Putin admissible over into boot gaya so before he came during his first visit before coming to Bhutan he was in Nepal Nepal currently there is one place called popping in our language we call it an issue this is the enlightened place where Google padmasama achieved enlightenment so according to Tundra tradition that is the bodhgaya Tantra tradition I mean bodhgaya is in Nepal after the first visit of Bhutan then publish and power went to bodka so according to text this is not making any personal statement and based on my source there Matt's amongst acts so it is very clearly say it told but my symbol went abroad gaya from after after these peacemaking in Bhutan where he subdued the testicles furthering Vedic traditions who are controlling the temples mahabodhi temple and the group of the sample renovated the maha bodhi stupa which was damaged by the Aesthetica followers in the text he says he will stay in india for 12 years so it looks like after visiting Putin guru padmasambhava spent 12 years in India before going back to come an apology and then after spending a month in Nepal he will go to Tibet while was while he was staying in Nepal darkanian's gave him a prophecy saying that he should go to genting and there he met the invoice of the tibetan king but did not follow them together all the way to Tibet when them to meet the Tibetan kings okay so then okay so this is a demo tecnine I have two photos in my new content so the meeting of limits are known all and guru became why Google which was on the way to Tibet when he rich momentum he met area own demands a man whose father and mother just passed away within the period of one month I kept he was from a powerful family of Tantra tantric practices and because of his family had a fierce protector the villages were afraid to do the funerary rites for his parents would produce some power then subjugated the protector performed the funerary rites and took the little boy to accompany him for his on his travels he was giving him various teachings and in a I think I'm coming to my most of the important points so please hmm okay so excuse me for this so I really want to give the clear picture so that you all of you have the information okay also but let me do it faster mm-hmm okay so he was then he accompanied guru Padma sample here everywhere goodness environment and guru Padmasambhava also taught him so within a year it's like there not among the little boy was able to learn three different 200 different Cary graphic scripts goldenblood she asked him to travel with him to Bunton and they went through your own shampoo and Infotech they made the key of can balloon king kicker attitude the king told Padma some power you came all the way from Tibet when you will so this is GU room which is second visit to Bhutan when you were in bintang last time you helped Cinderella the King to recover from his illness loved your blessed body a body print which is still in Boonton at goji and helped everyone to make peace therefore I would like to invite you to Kindle in my country so at Maron there is a one place coordinating silver dome where guru padmasambhava did one week-long retreat and all the local spirits were instantly pacified and started B or being him in Benton publish on bhava gave the King the teaching call the clear mirror of great perfection for watching for 7 min on the single Roger and the king kicker adieu and the later offered his kingdom in all his wealth to purpose Imbaba their mother moon acted as the treasure a treasure and sort of financial minister and he became one of the most important partners on powers 25 disciples so this is about the maximum and then next I would like to go to battle ok so jump in come to rota time mentions that Putnam power went to Bhutan third time I don't know exactly what the jungle new dimensions 13 or not but according to my research this is what I understand first visit and the second visit already mentioned and the third visit was when he actually not perform all his miraculous you know manifestation as a guru totally the most wrathful ones at tiger nest so according to Jung Geun control he has mentioned in a context in hundred and eight you know great Teton biographies that it is the time when guru Rinpoche went to borrow toxin is right before he when he left Tibet from Gunton the date of the third visit is not mentioned in the text attributed to their maximum but from other sources such as the hundred thirteen biographies by Jim Camuto it is known that he met he went to proton from Tibet which is Rajal and was accompanied there by Momo taschek uten who was from Bhutan so I have little introduction about Momo Tashi children going which is pretty nice our concert but since we have limited time so I don't want to read it later I will share my presentations and then let me go to the next okay so this is go digitally the wrathful form of goodness and problem and this painting is drawn I don't know the artist but it is it was done streak under strict guidance of each other in bad shape and I got it from the German young certain Bishop from Tibet and it is a blessings for all of you please have a look at it when but no simple manifest is as digitally at peril - Akutan manifests as female tigers his vehicles the purple symbol on who are subjugated most of the terrifying demonic forces known as dom c demons Samiha transgressors showed him to vanish it gives some very interesting description about it so this is something that i want to quote Ambala describing the manifestation of remember Chi as this form in this form WG says he was half Indian half Tibetan and in the person who dress up like a Tibetan madman he held a budget ax and a dagger flame shot from his body and his voice a pregnant Tigers it was quite a syringe he was not quite a local deity and nor quite a conventional guru he was neither warm nor King he was certainly not an ordinary person but I do own a tiger is regarded as a mistake but he somehow managed to do it was he trying to disguise himself as a Tibetan or what was he trying to do he was not particularly teaching anything he couldn't deal with him as a bone priest or a missionary he doesn't convert anybody that didn't seem to be his sister either he was just instigating cows all over the place even the local deities were confused actually upset the symbol of the tiger is also interesting a platinum tigresses supposed to be the most vicious of all Tigers she's hungry slightly crazy and completely illogical you cannot read her psychology and work with it reasonably she is quite likely to eat you up any time and that is the nature of dajatol as transport vehicle this tiger could be said to represent crazy skillfulness and those it only has crazy wisdom that writes on it they make an excellent couple so this is quoting from trooper number to describing going which is manifestation at possum nests and this is not photoshopped the mountain naturally shapes like a rock who face online face and it is a special or a special place many see this rock formation as a manifestation of virtually many great masters including to be considered pachitea G does remember change Cambridge England so and they all went to extreme extended to the extended retreat at paradoxical and reveal many German teachings their coming of guru padmasambhava was a most significant turning point for both Tibet and Putin he indeed the most important father figure for participation in these countries we could never fully put into words but with some Baba's great act of cleanness unfortunately many seem to disregard but with symbols tremendous credits by negating his legacy that shared to these countries throughout history many in the past employed repressive measures against these fathers forcibly converting monasteries and destroying religious artifacts associated to but Nasim Pavan so this is the main point that I wanted to raise his numerous instructions guidance and prophecies regarding the future of Tibetan Putin and how to safeguard these countries and preserve Dharma and had great impact on their history I think it is important to raise the issue and discuss how in spite of partners and policy measurable kindness and generosity his teachings were often attacked during history even today I don't mean to get into any sectarian controversy or offend anyone but I would like to show a few examples okay so in this short version of cotton it says that although I have shown the great kindness of Tibet beings remain persistently ungrateful yet through the power of continuous players to me I will avert all negativity even in the worst times thi doesn't achieve status on Godot team remembering notes in his books called a book called the reign of a diamond file that poem cavitational a great scholar from caleb tradition once sent a group of his monks to show control it Hakan a temple in tibet in a trashy boom boom a temple that who are housed a publicist on power statue as male image and ordered them to destroy the statue and toyed into River redeemed amici who was the region at that time took the matter to court the reign of a fire the book by Chattahoochee published by something Institute daily 2005 page 68 I'm quoting it one of the two letters on the screen written in Tibetan there you see is by problem color the great japan scholar to attain his army general of Kuomintang government you when we who was the chairman of citron province and later he the administrative leader of she telling province which is referring to tibet for ten years polenka was letter are introduced in his collected works in volume cha he wrote three deceitful letters to this general trying to get his military support by condemning the other schools especially in new traditions so in this letter that i have translated into english roughly states that all so this is the letter all other buddhist traditions in tibet can claim that their view is not a generous person he kannada ameeta however as the person become a technical view is extremely profound and subtle the followers of these traditions are not able to fathom the ultimate view of these great passes corners and accomplished masters hence their view is incorrect most of their views tend to be that of hostile mahayana and thus accumulate the cause to fall into realistic view resulting to be born in the hell realms in second letter to one of his chinese our fatherís chinese monk he also wrote to his disciple his name is ab a second new Salutin television true spirit even all these sectarian messages to his other Chinese policy so the letter states these days the views of Sakha Catalunya and others are mistaken let alone their view being Pacific personality to mother Michael they don't have the view even that of the Sonderkommando Mika they also solely meditate up in the realistic view of the likes of the tirthikas and the hustle Mahayana holding the nihilistic view will undoubtably lead to the hell of ultimate torment hence they don't have the unlisted in path to liberation and supreme enlightenment even it won't if one meditates upon such a room 1000 year for 1,000 years one will never achieve any realization cases this doesn't serve any purpose as it is like aspiring for butter by churning water finally I request you to translate these words into Chinese and pronounce it to others Chinese tsubasa cos the lay practitioners this is what he wrote in his second letter now the summary conclusion when you look at the internet the major sites you look up to learn about the history of putin or guidebooks or even if you go there and listen to your local tourist guides but in this history and tradition seems to start only in 17th century with shuttle morning again while before him there was famous movie masters like living there like luncheon-table jumpa darling family / just to name the most few ones in 2016 the prime minister of Bhutan selling table J in Paris a dinner conference only to go but no samples powerful blessings of prophecy shuttle known and then founded our nation the unification of our nation was in accordance with the professor group of muscle power later the emergence of both of you generation as the first two of Bhutan was also introduced sorry and I was also accordance with the prophecy of group of Muslim power to fulfill the need of time in engine linguist short version of gotten there is a prophecy by botanist Impala about the kings of Bhutan written as written in Tibetan language tricky mentally cheese rajendran can see should you do in reduction in window there will be defeat or in all sectors of the case this is not my translation then an ammunition of myself will return to protect the dharma right across the Empire shall do now uncle amazing the current great master has indisputable role in unifying Putin and fighting back the Tibetan Mongol army three consecutive times if he has not able to succeed the defense succeed to defend the country but I would have not been able to keep his severity he also had a great role in preserving the legacy of Padma simple and the Chi treasures of banana schools in spiritual material since she hadn't invited which originally from Kanpur and received transmission of transmissions and initiations of the definitive Islamic on do at politics in the Aeneid routine ceremonies of Lama Cooper duper and Olympus particular a pseudonym practices are carried out in a very extensive way in every joint in Bhutan festivals like the great in administration of go Patna sambar and other religious events are state-sponsored rituals in Bhutan which show the great faith patinas people have in guru Padma Sam power even today finally the prophecies of group of muscle power jam them come to know the tire engineer kim sehwang PO advice cosas attendant you the first to put on food or who fulfill by building fulfill the prophecy by building the some of him to having at gujhiya Bunton with the tower in which a statue inside facing east directions in 1900 regarding this I heard from some of my precious Lamas that remember education noticing it is certainly due to the blessings of group membership and collective methods of Putin's people the noble kill of Putin fulfilled one of fallible prophecies of group of Muslim power just on time as The Situation's demanded because of this landmark initiated taken by the noble King people and nation of Bhutan enjoys peace and happiness prosperity without decline today thus I asked in the beginning how is it possible that a small country like the Putin has never been colonized and how can that it became the last standing whether you are a Buddhist kingdom and is regarded to be the happiest country in the world it is possible because of guru padma some powers of blessings and in other in order to preserve his legacy it is important to give a full picture of his history so that's all about my presentation concludes with this photo of you saw his eminence sorry His Majesty the King bowing at Goomba chain so thank you very much that's all I think thank you very much I'm sorry the time constraint which made me come up to you but these all these conferences are designed for short presentations and if one really wants to get into the topic it's always difficult so I understand all the information that you gave and of course the bunker impasse is one of my gurus gurus so that's ok we live with contradictions it's it's all I think there's some wonderful quote by guru Rinpoche saying just samsara is unfortunate or impure dependent arising so what to do you know we do our best in this situation now I think tea has got cold so let's forget tea even though we are from Indian and British foreign powers or we'll have it a bit later but I would request our next venerable speaker Kempo top 10 la true perhaps keep it is really gonna is you'll
