Day-02 | How to Install CISCO FMC on VMware | Cisco Firepower FMC/FTD Tutorial

hello friends welcome to my youtube channel technet guide friends in this video i am going to tell you how to install fmc on vmware friends fmc is a firepower management center which is used to manage app study okay this is aptly this ftd is managed by fmc okay so friends in last blue we saw how to install ftd on vmware okay so now in this video we will see fmc installation and we'll see how to join how to connect a pd with fmc okay so friends first we will see how to download fmc image from cisco site so friends you can see go to software.cisco download site browse here go to security click here security now click on firewall now select here firewall management in the firewall management you can see here firepower management center and firepower management center virtual appliance so we have to select perform management center virtual appliance click here now click here fire power management center software click here so friends uh in last video we have installed f3d 6.4.0 so now we are going to install also purple management center 6.4.0 okay we'll install it 6.1.0 so you can see there is a multiple images there this is for upgrade fmcb you can see fmcb okay you can see f1cv we have to download this image for virtual machine okay so you can see it's a 2gb approx vmware install package now click on download here you can download from here now you have to log in with your user id and password then you can will download here okay so friends i have already downloaded let me show you so you can see i have already downloaded it i have already downloaded firefox management center virtual image 6140113 just now extract it extract here extra file click on ok now now click on just open this file you can see there is multiple vm images there so we have to select this one firepower management center virtual image just double click on it just double click on it and now accept license agreement and click on next now type here your virtual machine name opencv was fmcb fancy virtual now select a location where you can you have to install it i am going to install in this path now click on next now you can put password itself to let me put password here now click on import now it's importing click on yes okay it's already loading so friends it will take time so we have to wait for this now fred it's initializing the configuration database now it will take approx 10 minute okay now friends you can see installation done now friends you have to provide here admin and password is by default password a a capital admin one two it's successfully installed here management server now friends we have to configure its interfaces and provide ip address so we have to type here sudo su for super login user supervisor now type password of superuser now to configure network type here configure network just press enter do you wish to configure ipv version 4 yes management ip 192.168.70.5 okay just press enter now pray and drive your 70 mask now type your default gateway provide ipf default gateway okay you can see this is our network are these setting are correct yes do you waste configurability no now it's updating network configuration okay now friends you can see ipaddress has been updated now we have to log in on gy just go to gui browser and login with it ip address 192 70.5 okay fmc ip address now advanced click on process login with this ip address admin in ipaddress password now friends you can see we have successfully logged in in fmc now here from here you can change your password okay now let's change password default password into your password provide your password now you can change hostname from here let me give hosting fmc okay dab dns you can provide dns server secondary dns server from here you can provide a smart license okay so i'm going to listen read and apply it again apply so friends you can see this is a fmc dashboard here currently there is nothing in fmc so let me show you systems so friends you can see system and 10 you can see it's 70 to 10 now we have to provide here provide here after the ip address 182 168 70.10 okay here is a display name it's not a host name only will display on your fmc just provide your key now we have to just run command configure type here configure manager add okay now provide ip address of the fmc 180 to 168 70.5 fmc ip address now you have to provide key like cisco you have to remember this key says one two three okay now check show managers so manager you can say spending now we have to go to manager fmc cisco one two three create policy you have to create pulse here initial policy by default implicit rule we have to provide implicit rule by default it will block all traffic and or you can select intelligent presentation so i have to select block all traffic by default okay creating policy so friends policy is created here okay now you have to enable this malware thread defense url filtering okay click on register here now it's adding your updated device on fmc okay now friends you can see after d registration is in progress okay it will it will take some time now friends you can see we have successfully added ftd on fmc okay now go to edit you can edit
