How to Upgrade Checkpoint Firewall 🔥 with CPUSE

hello friends welcome to my youtube channel technet guide friends in this video i am going to tell you how to upgrade checkpoint gateway from our 77.32 r8010 so friends we will perform this task with cpu's upgrade okay you will upgrade from guy up gui so friends we have to upgrade step by step our first step will be download our 8010 image from checkpoint portal and then we will download deployment agent we should install latest deployment agent in order to upgrade okay first we will download our 2.10 image from checkpoint portal then we'll download latest deployment agent from checkpoint portal and then we will install deployment agent then we'll perform upgrade so let me show you how to download supportcentre.checkpoint.com okay now you can see here upgrade wizard install and upgrade click on upgrade wizard now we are going to upgrade so we have to select upgrade here instead of new installation now click on upgrade click on next here we have to select our product check security gateway and then appliance type appliance will be open server okay now appliance model will be open server now our upgrade from gaia and r77.30 okay now upgrade to gaia and r 8010 now click on we are going to upgrade from our 77.32 r8010 now click on next now you will see this file here click here to download here is a detailed file and md5 value after install you can after download you can verify your md5 value now click on download now it's downloading let it complete let me pause this video after download you can now friends you can see i have downloaded successfully this file okay so now we have to download latest deployment agent support center type here deployment we have to download latest deployment agent checkpoint service gaya development agent checkpoint upgrade service engine cpus you we are going to upgrade via cpu so gaia development agent here so drop down here and you will see here is download option here click here to download now you will see deployment agent now click on download here it's downloaded successfully so friends before going to upgrade we have to take backup of our gateway configuration interface and routing okay just we have to take backup logging we have to log enable browse no gateway and cap any mis configuration or other thing so we can for safe and secure purpose we have to take back up our of our configuration okay just wait to set cli env row zero cli in v row 0 for complete backup now run command here show configuration now press enter here now you can see this is our config file exit and check backup done or not the desktop so you can see this my backup file you can see i have taken backup now we have to install deployment agent on gateway so friend now we have to transfer deployment agent file to our gateway where folder go to export mode export cd slash where slash time okay unless there is no any file here so we have to transfer our latest deployment agent file here okay now go to win sap gateway ip address 192 168 username password okay yes okay system authorized we have to change so we have to change cell here list to base okay change cell minus as lesbian slash bash user admin click enter now cell has been changed here again try here now done go to root folder go to root and where then temp temp folder go to desktop so you can see this is my development agent file we have to transfer from here to temp folder okay you can see it's transferred now go to your cli checkpoint cli now we have to check this file where ls now you can see file transfer successfully here okay now you can close bin sap now we have to extract this file jx we have then file name okay you can see we have extracted here now you have to run this command rpm minus you huv makes yours pause and then file them okay make sure syntax should be same here now press enter here now you can see it's installing here deployment agent the service is stopped here okay you can see da service stopped here now we have to start dollar d a d i r slash bin d a start run this command so we can see da service cpw services start area okay now we have installed deployment agent now login to your gui okay this is you can see this is gui so before going to upgrade let me show you www r77.30 okay so after install receive its version now go to cpus upgrade okay status connection good click on installation action now click on import package click here and browse and select your upgrade file now click on import now your package is importing here let it complete it will take 10 to 50 minute okay once upgrade it it will import package okay now it's importing okay now you have to verify this package okay it's successfully imported now just select all now right click on it right click on package and select verify verifier it will verify your package okay one of the verification we're done we had to know successfully verified here means it's okay for upgrade we can go for upgrade now just now again right click and click on upgrade now upgrade start here it will take 10 to 15 minute once upgrade you will get login prompt with gaia r8010 okay so let it complete upgrade you will get here you can see this is a guy our 10.10 login prompt here you can see successfully upgraded here okay now login with your id and password you can see successfully login and your version is upgraded okay r8010 now go to cli of gateway just log in on cli log in here and run this command absolute version to check your version now you can see virginia r810 successfully upgraded so thanks for watching this video friends
