appreciate it and the first story is scooter lady this happened last week and yes this lady has officially traumatized everyone in the store now cheese's semi-regular and everyone tries to scramble away when she rolls on in on her scooter me SM equals store manager M equals other manager a equals other associate SL equals scooter crazy nightmare from HEC lady me hi how are you today anything you're looking for in particular scooter lady yes I want to look at some dresses I need one that's specifications is this all you have I don't like that how much is that me they're on clearance so it's xx dollars and then 40% off that scooter lady how much is that me tells her scooter lady that's not a deal I'm looking for a deal then rolls on over to another area these sweaters are they on sale me looks at the sign right on the sweaters yes they are 40% off scooter lady okay I'm looking for a deal that's not a deal you know what I mean me yes ma'am I do this continued for another 15 minutes as she hated everything she told me to hold up her asked for the price miss read every buy 1 get 1 50 % as just 50% off and kept saying daddy no deal ok we find a few things she manages to like and thinks is a deal then we get to her needing tights scooter lady I need tights I want black me okay we have sizes colors and styles scooter lady I want black sheer I bring her the size she would be according to the weight chart she insist she wants the next size because she wants them loose when I bring her that size she yells at me saying she's not that big she doesn't want this certain style she's okay with super opaque which is much darker than she told me she wanted now she wants another color this adds another 12 minutes of going around in circles as I'm getting frustrated with her constantly telling me she doesn't want what she just told me she wanted when I get back to the register where she's plopped I heard her talking with my manager but not the conversation scooter lady okay I need a new bra I think I'm blah blah size and need to be measured me okay I can do that for you Scooter lady really you you can do that she's skeptical because she's in her late 60's and I'm in my late 20s apparently I'm like 5 years old in their mind needless to say another 10 minutes of arguing about how she's always been this certain size and I must be wrong I go back to fetch something else for her and when I come back she says she wants me to total her stuff and she was told she'd get 30% off her whole purchase I asked her if that was a coupon customer courtesy or what she starts to turn a little nasty because I was questioning her she keeps saying they said 30% off my purchase me ma'am I wasn't here for that conversation was it a coupon or customer courtesy manager it was a coupon for 30% off one regular priced item scooter lady no she meaning store manager said it was 30% off my whole purchase store manager no I said it was a coupon for 30% off of one regular priced item scooter lady okay I know what I heard but whatever I'll take that we go through ten minutes of totaling her stuff taking almost everything off reading checking discounts kmn she again tries to ask where 30% off her purchase was I tell her yet again that's not what they said she proceeds to scream at me she's done with me and if I don't know how to do something I just need to get my manager me I know how to add the discount they told you five times it would be it was not 30% off your purchase but I'll gladly get you my manager I walked away and went up to both managers trying to finish moving all this stuff me I'm done she asked for a manager one of you can deal with her I'm just done manager is finishing up I go to a and ask a few questions about the paperwork and other stuff I was working on earlier scooter lady takes a while trash-talking me trying to pull the same crap on the store manager yeah I hear finishing up and go duck down behind a display I think out of sight out of mind she'll just roll on out and leave me alone finally boy was I wrong she goes through the door and I hear her say where that little girl was helping me earlier store manager you mean X market lady X scooter lady yeah they start calling for me I hear store managers say I must be in the bathroom or something Associate comes around the corner spots me and like a genius points at me screaming there she is no she's never been socially aware and able to read a situation I give her the dirtiest look and then walk up Scooter lady in store manager Scooter lady I'm sorry you were irritated me no ma'am I'm sorry then just looked at her and waited for the next BS out of her mouth Scooter lady it's just you walked away from me after whatever me you told me you didn't want me anymore and to get my manager which I did I was just giving you what you wanted you know what have a nice day as I started walking off she did that little motion with her hands where she grabbed at the air telling me by the second she wheeled her a out manager comes up to store manager and reams her out for 10 minutes for not interfering for her treating me like garbage not kicking her out because she's so obnoxious and allowing employee abuse she shouldn't let it go anywhere near that long being condescending etc store manager is pouting about ready to cry says that we need the sales and this gets manager in another uproar manager not at the cost of a good employee it ended with me telling store manager I will never help scooter lady again I will walk away and not subject myself to any more the whole store finds out about the interaction and shares their stories of her with me she always magically can't listen read a sign always argues turns you into her personal shopper he's incredibly rude and just wastes your time over a small sale the second story is customer doesn't understand how receipt lookups work I work behind the desk at a decently large retail store I deal with every type of customer imaginable the kind wants the rude once and the especially rude once it was two to three weeks ago when one of those especially rude customers rolled in with a return multiple returns rather right off the bat I knew I was in for a treat I was in the process of retaking items previously returned on my desk leaving little to no space for any more items on said desk that's when this customer comes and slams her bagger returns right on top of everything I was working on including our expensive machines machines remained okay by the way no greeting said just returns I muster up the tightest smile possible and slowly remove my own work elsewhere and begin opening a computer for the return I've in ask the basics dear avarice eat nope what about the form of payment used to purchase these items nope I then tell her that I'll begin a receipt lookup in hopes of finding proof of these purchases so she can receive the full amount back for them I start asking for a phone number in hopes that it's linked to our reward system which would make the search easier this is where she loses her patience as I'm about to ask when these items were purchased she goes off why don't you just scan the items scanning them should bring up my receipt I tell her no that's not how purchases from our store name work she rolls her eyes at me and laughs you just don't want to do it every other store does it for me stop making this difficult I explained as calmly as possible that it's not possible to pull the receipt just from scanning a barcode from the items bond we need a specific date when bought an either a phone number email or form of payment used in said purchase tagged along with an item ID not just the item ID alone that's literally useless she gives me attitude for another few minutes as I go back months and months in an attempt to find a receipt to these items but alas she had to make yet another comment about my work this shouldn't be as difficult as you're making it out to be she angrily stated as she tried tilting the computer monitor so she could get a look at what I was doing from behind the desk not allowed I quickly stopped her movements wanting to protect our property and snapped it becomes difficult when you come in here empty-handed and impatient she didn't say much after that five more minutes of desperately searching she gave up she grabbed her unreturned items and thank me for nothing I smiled and told her to have a great rest or a day to which she said fu to me and left a co-worker was quick to fill me in on previous encounters she had with that same customer apparently she's known for being the worst of the worst thrives off of it even today Sunday God's Day this devil of a woman returned with more returns my co-workers and I were already pretty busy as is but I made it a priority to take care of this red horned woman despite it I make room in our desk for her and beckon her up she has attitude right off the bat I'm here to return items and hopefully this time you'll actually return them instead of biessing me like my last visit I grinned and told her I remembered her and hope she was doing well she ignored it and beckoned to her items I searched the bag she provided for her receipt and what do you know she didn't have one nor did she have the form of payment used to purchase them with Q deja vu despite the previous interaction she still couldn't handle the questions I had next dates email phone number anything to help she still didn't get still didn't appreciate my efforts to find her bloody receipt I never have issues with his stuff not from any other blank this specific store is beyond terrible with its customer service you should be ashamed with how you've treated me to her lack of knowledge a manager had been watching the interaction from the start as she was familiar with the customer herself my manager swooped in after that statement sweetened the customer up a bit and somehow got a brand new phone number out of her one that this customer never provided me with in which help find the receipt just like that her items matched with the receipt found and she was credited a whopping 195 dollars to her card you would think she would be happy that the issue was solved but unfortunately no she began asking my manager why our systems were so flawed and why it takes so many steps for her receipt to be found my manager explained our policies regarding the subject and the devil woman left without another word spoken I never ever get rude with customers like I got with this woman even once it talked to me with serious attitude this one crossed a ridiculous amount of lines for merely ruining our printing machines touching our property without permission shelling impatience and being overall rude to me despite my long efforts to retrieve a receipt I felt defeated returns without any proof of a purchase or hard beyond hard sometimes but we like to go the extra mile in an attempt to find them for the customers nobody wants to go home without their money back we know this we try to help we really do I wish more people could sense this and the last story is the Internet is not a bank I work at a cinema and when people book tickets online and would like a refund we have to give them a form to fill out with their details like their name email address and some credit card info for their credit card info we mostly just need an expiration date and a few digits from the card number but not the whole number we literally cannot do a refund without this information the other day a lady came in wanting a refund for an online booking so we gave her one of these forms and when she handed it back to me I noticed she had filled out everything except for a credit card info me I'm sorry I just need you to fill out your credit card information to complete the refund lady but I paid online me that's fine I just need the details of the credit card that was used to pay lady but I didn't use my credit card I paid online me okay I need the details of the card that's linked to your online payment account lady my online account isn't linked to a card it's linked to my bank account me all right I need the details of the card linked to the same bank account lady but I paid online I didn't use my card me I know but I just need the details of the card that's attached to your online payment account lady but my online account isn't attached to my card it's attached to my bank account this went on for about five minutes and the whole time she was talking to me like I was the idiot her mother was standing behind her two whole time as well repeating everything she said I tried to dumb it down for me okay so your online account is connected to your bank account right lady yes me and that bank account is connected to a credit card right lady yes just like all other bank accounts are she laughed at me when she said this like I was saying something stupid me right so I just need the details of the credit card that is connected to the same bank account that your online account is connected to lady can't you just send it to my email me no we can't refund the money on to your email address lady I'm not really comfortable giving you my credit card information me I understand that but then I can't do the refund we need this information to put the money back onto your card lady but the money didn't come from my card it came out of my bank account I couldn't believe she was being serious me okay I'm sorry we need this information to put the money back into your bank account she finally gives in and starts writing down her details me all I need is the expiration date of the card and a few digits from the credit card number you don't even have to give me the whole number lady you won't even be able to refund my money without the whole number me yes we can it's literally the only way we can do the refund lady I don't know how you're gonna be able to refund me without my whole credit card number it won't work me yes it will we do it all the time she filled out the information but there was one more thing she forgot me all right it's almost done I just need you to write down what type of card was used lady I told you I didn't pay with my card I paid online me I know but you need to write down whether the card is Mastercard Amex etc lady but I paid online we went through the whole thing again until she rolled her eyes and finally completed the form I then told her what I tell everyone when they finished filling out one of these forms me thank you the money should go back into your bank account within a few business days but if for whatever reason that doesn't work and you can just give us a call lady
