Sure! Whoa! Why is this blanket so heavy? Teacher Harriet: Sometimes,
Max likes a heavy blanket, like this. It makes him feel like he's
getting a nice cozy hug. Daniel: But why does
Max need it? Are you cold? Katerina Kittycat: Are
you sleepy, meow meow? Teacher Harriet:
No. Max is autistic, which means that
some things about him are different than you. Like the way he calms down. Now that you're
feeling calmer, Max, ready to show them our book? Max: That's my book! Teacher Harriet: I've told
Max about each of you and we made this book
together called "Max Visits School." Let's read it together, so you can learn

about something, he only wants to talk

Max is trying something new, he needs to
take more time until he feels
comfortable. Something we can do is let
him hold onto his clock, until he decides he's
ready to hang it up. Dad Tiger: Take as much

loud for him. They make things quieter. Elaina: But the loud sounds
