this year our next guests not only starred in the blockbuster film Wayne's World but he also reached new heights on Saturday Night Live take a look now at this man at work I will never raise taxes again and I may never never ever ever never ever again and I may never ever ever never ever never now can we talk about deficit that's enough to buy still in a new outhouse for every family little please welcome the man who is just a heartbeat away from taking over this show Dana Kirby let's talk a little bit about the the election that was nuts like the last six months you bush parole all of those guys bill clinton with phil heartman you guys have never been busier I would guess people actually thought I was influencing the election paperwork cots hang on who shot vote for let's see what the church lady man does people were calling me journalist Ted Koppel called me at home I'm Ted Koppel this is a phone call that's the only impression that actually hurts my face to do yeah don't try it at home no it was crazy Perot called me and I wanted me to I thought these guys would get mad at me cuz it's you know we make fun of these guys bro called the the day of the election so come on down to Dallas it's gonna be a hootenanny it's gonna be huh he's gonna hit you dressing me and I'll be me that's right specially what any chance I get to put those ears on sometimes I wear them at night and what about George did you hear from the president yeah he left a message on man's machine the day after the election this is George had to do it so bad well he actually holding you responsible for it then that was sort of the gist of the joke I was going for yeah very mistaken it wasn't it was bad it was bad so what that's what he became and then four years ago I was like this George Bush by the enders I it's bad it's just wacky I just made a wacky and everyone went with it that's how weird same thing with church lady kids come up to me now and go do Churchland and I go I wave them to go that's not good you shut up but they never do my point you know why because they love you and I love you we have to do station identification really yeah and you can stay with us the longer are you and introducing a fragrance tonight that's good we're gonna pause here for station identification it seems like you and I have been sitting here forever there didn't it I know we got flowers that's so close all right so my dad did not end up taking me on the fishing trip okay speaking of your dad and your family now that yeah since you you were the one who was doing the the George Bush and the Ross Perot yeah one was not re-elected one was not elected are they worried about your future career on the street have been stomping you what do you get really like in tears getting I don't know church lady yeah oh go back to the lady you need some vocational counseling no I well I you know people say do you do do you do Bill Clinton all you can do is fill Hartman's Bill Clinton after a while you know ladies and gentlemen fill our minds Bill Clinton I did burn the American flag but it was toxic so they did hand Bill Clinton ladies [Applause] you're kind of parasitic there with your impressions your bottom-feeding what you're doing other impressionist others are doing yeah I mean I've got the bush first and not took him out there a while but now Phil's turn to do the president and I I did call him it to about 3:30 a.m. on election night with a conciliatory phone call that was saying it so my wife was in tears my parents had to leave the room it was a big night for us how's your son doing Dex yeah Dex yes Dex des fir and you can't stand it can you no it's an unusual man it's like my son Dex I said this on the Regis show but I did we went to the hospital his name was Jack gonna be Jack and then I said oh you know Jack be nimble Jack be quick and other kind of you know Jack kind of names and so up on the I via my wife's IV it said dextrose so I just kept seeing Dex and looking up and I said how about Dex my wife's in labor with drugs that sounds great that's how I became known as Dex but I am worried having a son doing what I do yeah the one day in the Attic you'll find it later lady tape and dad we gotta talk well come out with the dress on it go I'd feel good on me too speaking of that gay sailor why does that guy want to go back in the Navy anyway why would a gay guy want to be on a boat with 3,000 sweaty sailors look here I know it's cheap I'm sorry uh and your son is how old getting back he is 8 17 months 17 months and very exciting time in your life I would guess yeah I'm sure yes you getting ready to do some more of those Wayne's World and that we're gonna do I'm Wings world - I believe in you Wayne's World the first movie was such a huge success it was like a hundred million dollars at least in domestic ticket sales or however they calculate their yeah that's amazing that's a real credit to you guys it's still inside it's in Japan they love it over there honey on day it's all over the world who knew I mean I think it's kind of frightening yourself if you do you still enjoy doing the character yeah I enjoy doing it but my dear I did have a jaw pain after doing Garth literally tried doing this like four hours a day three months and my dentist went and saw the movie and saw that said that explains the clicking yeah is your yeah I'm Jay right man I do I have a job so I don't have to really contain my Garth isms and the big show tomorrow night hosting is Sinbad and short-day spelled Si de I don't know where the last name could be on our show tomorrow night good to see you my pleasure did Dana Carvey [Applause] [Applause]
