Cypher Setups for EVERY Map in VALORANT!

how's it going everyone today I'll teach you how to play Cipher on every map in valerant we'll go over defense setups as well as how to play on attack and there's time stamps below for anyone looking for a certain map before we start the video I have a few announcements to make and if you're a cipher player you'll probably be interested in them so stick around firstly I recently started a Discord even just watches the videos I really appreciate it and with all that out of the way I hope you guys enjoy the video and let's get into it all right so the new ice box rework is here and today I'm going to teach you guys how to master Cipher on it before we get into the video I wanted to mention that this is a really good map for Cipher on attack it's probably his best one so I really recommend that you guys stick around until the attack part of the video anyway let's get into it so the first thing that I want to look at is pistol round setups now I have one main setup that I use for this map and the buy for it is one trip wire two cages and light Shield to do the setup toss your trip right above these spoons and forks and kitchen so just like this and then come over here to B Tower and you can actually jump throw your cam out of here so it lands like this so throw that Cam and then for your cages you can either save them to use during the round or you can use one of your cages to throw a oneway pre-round if you want to throw the one way line yourself up with this line in the wall and then turn around and look where this line here and the snow meet so somewhere around here then you can just jump through your cage and that'll give you a nice one way on anybody peeking from this area they're not going to be able to Su at all here's their POV off of this setup you could play either at Snowman or Tower but I primarily play around Tower so I'll use that as an example with this you have your trip to hold anyone trying to push up into kitchen and you have your cam which sees basically all of sight as well as anyone trying to sneak under tube when it comes to playing off of this setup you can start the round off by sitting on your cam and when your opponent start walking out of main you can kind of Swing this angle like this and try to get a kill you could pop your one way and put them in that or you could even swing from this side like this now we're going to take a look at full setups this first one that I want to show you is my favorite one on ice box and it's basically just an extension the pistol round setup that I showed you so to do this we're going to throw the same trip and Cam that we did last time for the second trip there's two different things that you can do the first one is on the left side of yellow just like this and the second one is over here off this little Barrel on the right side of yellow no matter what trip you throw here the setup's going to be played pretty similarly once the round starts and you hear some enemies B you can toss one cage here and your second one over here off of this you'll want to play pretty close to yellow and on your cam you'll see if anyone's pushing your left or cross ing behind container if somebody pushes your trip and they hit it you can pop your cage and easily get a frag off that and on the other side your cage is mostly going to be used to delay and isolate some 1 V ons and if you wanted to you could even pop this cage and use it to fall back onto site the second B setup that I have to show you is kind of a more aggressive version of the first one because we're going to be using both of our trips on site now this setup has two different cams that you could use and the first one is in kitchen here I recommend using this cam if you don't have another teammate or ability to hold mid and kitchen for you because people do like trying to lurk here and since we don't have a trip it's good to have something watching this area but if you do have an ability or a person to watch that area for you you can just throw the same cam on site again now for your trips throw the first one along this wall so it goes all the way across like this and you can put your second trip off of this wall again you want it to go past the box to make it a bit harder to break off of this setup we can either play round Tower or we can play at Snowman and when we hear him coming towards B we can toss one cage here and our second one right here then when your enemies come out and they hit one of your trips just pop your cage swing out and get a free kill off that by the way if you don't have your cam on site I recommend you jiggle this angle every so often so you can get some info on what's going on moving on to the final B setup we'll throw our same trip and kitchen that we have been so just like this and then come over to green and you can toss your cam right up here don't worry about this getting broken we're just using it for info and this is another setup that has two different trips that you can use the first one is on the left side against this barrier like this and the second one is on the right side off this wall with this setup no matter what side you trip you're going to want to throw a c on the right pre- round and this is because if you throw it after the round starts any enemies playing here or here are going to see you throw the cage and they'll know where you're playing from off the setup we'll play in this area and as soon as we see somebody on our cam we can throw our second cage here and if your enemies come up and they hit your trip you can pop your cage and get a free frag off that and you can use your second cage again to isolate 1 V ons or even to cross off a site if you have to fall back now we're going to take a look at a setups before we do that I wanted to mention that these walls here are pretty restrictive as to what you can do they don't give you too much space to work with for your util so a lot of the setups that I show you on the site are going to have you throw things after the barrier goes down this first one doesn't have that but I just thought I should mention it for the first day setup come into Tower and then toss your cam in this corner throw your first STP at the edge of this wall like this and your second one on this wall over here off of this setup you can either play behind Tower or up at heaven and once you hear your enemies at a you can TOS one cage here and your second one on this side and from here you can kind of just sit on your cam until somebody comes up and hits your trip and once they do you can pop your cage get an easy frag off that and you can do the same thing on the other side too for the second as set up we're going to throw our cam high on this wall just like this and then come down here and throw the same trip that we did last time for the second trip you're going to want to stand here before the barrier drops and look a little bit to the right side of this line so about here and then pull your trip out and as soon as the barrier goes down just toss it like this and then you can play behind this with this setup you can play in this corner here and as soon as it seems like your enemies are going to come to a you can toss a cage right about here and this cage is perfect because it lets you swing off both of your trips so if somebody hits this one you can pop your cage and get an easy kill off that and you can do the same thing with this one and if you wanted to you could even use this cage to fall back behind Tower safely I have one more setup that I want to show you guys remember though there's a lot of good stuff to learn on attack so stick around for that all right so for the first STP you're going to want to throw it off of this corner here at head height and pair that with the cage and then jump on top of screens and as soon as the barrier goes down you're going to want to throw your cam high on this angle like this throw a trip here and a cage like this try to be fast when you're throwing this util because if you are fast you'll be able to throw it before any of your enemies get to a spot where they can see you throwing it now to play off of this setup you're going to tuck yourself in this corner here and sit on your cam now if somebody comes up and they hit the strip you can pop this cage and easily get a free kill off that this cage blocks all other angles so you don't have to worry about anything except for the Target that you're shooting at and the second trip is basically used in the same way when somebody comes up and hits it you can pop your cage and get a free kill off that too now let's move on to attack and we'll start with the most important thing and that's how to hold flank so for bite there's a couple things that you could do the first thing is pretty obvious and that's just throwing in one trip right here and your second one in this doorway but there is a way to hold flank with only one trip the only complication with it is that you have to throw it once the barriers go down which isn't really that big of a deal most of the time so yeah my favorite way to hold flank is just by throwing it off of this angle as always make sure you throw it at head height so no enemies are able to crouch under it or jump over the trip if you wanted to you could pair your trip with this cam to give you some midino and an earlier heads up on anybody flanking this Cam's also cool because it lets you see into the new window to have a good flank hold on a unfortunately there's no tricks here you do have to use both of your trips you're going to want to throw one in this doorway throw it like at the top of your head height so about it this height and that'll make it so nobody can jump over it and 30 second trip over here in this doorway now if you can only afford one trip or you only want to use one for whatever reason you could pair your single trip with this cam here to give you a little bit extra sec security for holding flank throwing your cam in this spot is good because it lets you see everything that you need to while still keeping the cam hidden all right so now we're going to take a look at attack cams we'll start off with a and this site has quite a few good things that you can do the first one that I want to show you is here you can just throw your cam on this angle and this will let you clear anyone peeking close to you and it also lets you see into this area here pipes has a few different good attack cams that you can do the first one is just on this angle here and this will let you clear anyone close right or on the left side and it also gives you some more info on site you can also jump throw your cam onto this wall and this will clear anyone playing in these areas or you could even throw your cam over here now for the B attack cams the first one that I want to show you is just jiggle peeking this corner super fast tossing your cam out and this will let you clear anyone trying to play close up to you and the other one that I want to show you is just jump throwing it up on this roof like this this will give you good info behind container and on most's site as well for Mid attack cams there's two different ones that I like to do and the first one I already showed you in the flank section but you can just toss it here this lets you see into the new window and also gives you some good info on anyone trying to flank you and the last Cam that I have I use when I'm actually going to Mid myself or when my team's planning on pushing mid if you get up on this cargo container and throw your cam on this High part of the snow right here like this you can get a really good angle on Mid which lets you see boiler into the window and also you can sometimes catch people coming in and out of this door here all right so the new Lotus rework is finally out and today I'm going to show you the best Cipher setups for it this map has been upgraded so much for Cipher players and I'm excited to show you guys all the new stuff we're going to start off by looking at pistol round setups and we'll start with C the buy for this setup is one trip two cages and light Shields and to do it we'll jump up on this box over here throw your cam in this corner like this and then come over here and throw your trip off of this box so it goes like this then we're going to throw one way for main to do it jump on these boxes here stand in this corner and then if you look at the corner of this thing here and go down until you hit this line and toss your cage that's going to give you a nice one way on Main so toss your one way and then off of the setup we play over here at this pillar and from here we can sit on our Cam and when they come in and they hit our first strip we'll pop our one way get an easy frag off that and then we have our second cage for whatever it comes in handy for you can use it here if you want to use it to cross over into waterfall or you can throw it over at stairs if you want to go back into CT and here's the enemy POV with this oneway they can't see you at all no matter where they are over here it's super clean now I'm going to show you the second pistol setup this setup has the same buy as the first one so one trip two cages and light shield and for the setup we'll throw our cam here on C and this Cam's just for info so don't worry about it getting broken now come over to B toss your trip across Main and off of this setup we can play just right here if you hear some enemies in B main you can toss your cage here to pair that with your trip and if somebody does come up and hit your trip you can pop your cage and get a free kill off that and delay their push then you have your cam over here not only to get you info in c main but also to trick your enemies into thinking that you're playing at C and if they think that you're playing C they're most likely going to rotate because nobody wants to deal with Cipher util which will also bait them into coming into your trip at B all right right so now we'll take a look at full setups and we're going to start with C this first one is basically just an extension of the C pistol round setup that I showed you and it's my favorite on the reworked Lotus so to do it we'll throw our cam on the left side of this flower and jump throw it so you can get it onto that part toss your first strip across main just like this and we're going to pair it with a one way to do it jump on this box and stand in this corner and then look at the edge of this thing here and go down until you hit this line and toss the cage and for our second trip just throw it off this wall and make sure it goes all the way across s like this for this setup we can play behind this pillar and when they come in and they hit our first trip we'll pop our cage and get an easy frag off that again they can't see us at all with this one way but we can see their legs completely then we have our second cage to use for if we see them coming up toward stairs we can just toss the cage here then when they hit our trip we can pop the cage swing out and get an easy frag off that and we can even use this cage to fall back off a side afterwards moving on to the second sea setup we're going to throw our cam in this corner just like this and then throw your first trip off of this wall and make sure it goes all the way to the Box and for the second trip throw it off of this angle so it goes something like this and with it setup we can play Behind these new boxes here when you hear some enemies and see main toss one cage here we can sit on our cam here and if they come in and they hit this trip we can pop the cage swing out and get a kill off that or we could even wall bang them through these boxes here and if they end up coming in and hitting this trip all you have to do is wall bang them here and you have an easy frag and then you have your second cage to use for whatever it comes in handy for all right so now we're going to take a look at B setups for this first one 30 cam on this Vine here make sure it goes on the Vine and not below it because if it does go below it enemies are going to be able to break it from in and obviously we don't want that happening then come over here through your first trip like this and your second one off of this angle here so it goes across man throw a cage here to pair it with your trips and off of the setup we can play back and breakable and when somebody comes in and they hit one of your trips you can easily pop your cage and get a free frag off that then if you have a second trip that they hit you can toss your second cage and use it again this setup is really strong because when your opponents are coming out they either have to go left to right and no matter where they go They're going to hit one of your trips and feed you an easy kill the second B setup that I want to show you is made to get us info on both B and C to do it toss one trip across c main just like this throw your second trip across B main like this pair that with the cage and then throw the same Cam that we did for the other setup off this setup we can play really from anywhere we could go cink heaven or breakable I'll use cink as an example but really no matter where you play you're going to play it the same way so yeah this setup's pretty simple just decide where you want to play and then go over there when they come in and they hit your trip you can pop your cage swing out and get a free frag off that then once your trip and cage are gone you still have your cam to get you info on all of B and you have your trip over on C to get you info there as well moving on to the final side of the video we have a now A's become quite a bit stronger for Cipher and this first setup that I have to show you is my favorite one for it so to do it we're going to toss one trip across man like this and then stand in this corner and look at the dark part of this bush this shows up a bit better on Lower graphic settings but yeah it's right here so you can just toss the cas then second Tri across tree and something kind of unfortunate happened here R ended up moving this barrier so we actually have to wait until the barrier goes down to throw our cam it's not a super big deal though because we can easily just throw it and then run back to where we want to play so once the barrier goes down just jump through your cam up here and then you can run over into back site and play from here if somebody ends up coming up and hitting this STP you can pop the cage and easily get a free frag off that this puts them in a one way so they can't see you no matter where they're standing here and it's super clean then we have our cam to hold tree for us and I really like this cam because it gives us 100% info for tree throughout the whole round so if somebody ends up hitting the tree door we don't have to guess if they actually went in there or not one thing I want to note about this cam though is that you shouldn't ping people with it most of the time because it's going to tell your enemies that you know that they're in there and also a lot of times it's going to get broken if you do ping them but once you see an enemy go in here you can easily toss a cage to pair this with your trip then when they come out and they hit this trip pop the cage swing out and get an easy frag off that moving on to the final setup of the video we're going to throw the same cam as last time so when the barriers go down just toss your cam up here throw one trip across like this and your second one across here like this off this setup we can play in back site and when the enemies start coming onto sight you can toss one cage here and your second one here if somebody hits this trip pop your cage swing out and get an easy frag off that and if somebody hits this trip you can do the same thing this setup's strong because it denies a lot of space for your enemies and yeah I definitely recommend trying this one out all right so I want to end this video off by looking at some stuff on attack most importantly how to hold flank now for almost every attack round on Lotus I'm throwing my cam right here and that's because this gives you really good info on anyone pushing out C and even b and a as well so I really recommend that you throw this cam along with your trips for flank so if I plan on hitting a during the round I toss my cam here and then I walk with my back against this wall until I'm not able to see in this doorway whatsoever so then just Crouch here and toss your trip in your eyes so no enemies can Crouch under the trip or jump over it now the reason that I walk with my back against this wall is so enemies can't stand behind my trip and kill my teammates when they're standing here so yeah it's a nice little tip to use now if I'm hitting B again I like to put my cam right here and then the trip is pretty simple just Crouch here and toss your trip now for C flank this is the one site where I don't really throw this cam all that often so all that you have to do toss your trip here and you're good now I know that I made a big deal out of using this cam to hold flank but that doesn't mean that you have to throw it every round because Lotus also has quite a few good attacking cams that you should be taken advantage of my personal favorite attacking cam is this one on a and to use it just jump up on this thing here then you can toss your cam high up on this pillar now the info that this cam gives you is really strong because it lets you see all the way into stairs a lot of times this is going to be smoked off and it even lets you see over that so I definitely recommend trying this cam out if you're going to hit b a good cam to throw is just on this wall here and that's because it lets you clear this angle a lot of times you'll have somebody like jet or chamber peaking this and it's really helpful to get them off of that angle and if they don't end up breaking the cam you can just take it back the last attack Cam that I want to show you is it C and all you have to do is toss it on this wall when your team's about to take sight and this is going to let you completely clear stairs as well as this new angle on the left here what's going on everyone today I'm going to show you guys how to play Cipher on bind we'll go over the best setups for defense how to play on attack and yeah let's jump straight into it so the first thing that I want to look at is pistol round setups and on bind I usually only set up on B on pistol rounds so here are the setups that I like to use the buy for the first setup is a ghost one trip and one cage and to it you're going to want to throw your trip across long like this go here next you're going to want to jump up into hookah and throw your cam high on this wall like this now we'll throw a one way for Main and before I show it to you I want to give credit to thwifo cuz that's who I found this from his links in the description now to do the one way come and jump on this box and then look anywhere on this dark straight line here and toss a gage now off of this setup we're mostly going to play off of our cam but before you hop on your cam make sure you look at your cage so you can pop it as soon as you get off the cam and also make sure that you're already on the cam before the walls drop so your enemies can't hear you on it so once the walls drop basically you're just going to sit on your cam and wait for people to come into hookah as you're waiting call out to your team if you hear anyone short and if they walk into hookah tell them that they're in hookah and that your teammates are able to see them on their map now once your enemies are about here in hookah you can pop your cage swing out and get an easy frag off it and once you get your kills you can just drop off the box like this here's the enemy po they're not able to see you at all with this one way and we even have a ghost so they can't see tracers and shoot back at us you see them on map if you want to turn this into a full bu setup you can either throw your second trip off of this pillow like this or you can throw it across the hookah door moving on to the next pistol setup this one is a bit more passive and is mostly designed to get you information on B the bite for this is one trip two cages and light shield now to do the setup you're going to jump on this radi night box and jump through your cam up here now come into hookah and throw your trip across hookah door like this with this setup you're really able ble to play from anywhere on B and our util is going to get us early information no matter where they come from if your enemies run into hookah they'll have to hit your trip and that's going to delay them give you information and a teammate could possibly even play off the trip and we have our cam up here which is going to give us good long info and it also lets us see basically all of sight which makes it really good for retakes moving on to full setups we'll start with b and for the first one throw one trip across long like this and your second one across hookah window just like this then you can come into hookah and throw the same Cam that we did on pistol around up here and then to play off of this setup most of the time I play in back site and sit on my cam again it's good to pop this cam before the walls drop so your enemies can't hear it once you hear some enemies at B long you can toss a cage like this to pair that with your trip and if you hear some people in B short or if you see them in hookah you can toss your second cage over here off of the setup if your enemies jump out of hookah window and they hit the strip you can pop your cage and get a frag off that and you can do the same thing with this trip here if you wanted to you could also use this cage to rat on sight if you wanted to go in the tube or over into the C and you could use this cage to swing this angle on hookah all right so moving on to the next be setup for this one we'll jump on this radianite box and throw our cam on the top right of this triangle like this throw your first strip off of this door and your second one along the ground over here toss one cage here and with this setup you can play back an elbow when your enemies come out onto sight and they hit one of your trips you can pop your cage and pretty easily spray them down and for my second cage I usually either throw it here if I want to use it to play off another one of my trips or I throw it AC cross guard in door to help me while I retake sight moving on to the final be setup this last one I normally use on Save rounds or light buys it's especially good if you have a spectre or any shotgun and to do the setup jump on this radi knite box again and throw your cam up here then drop down here throw your first STP off of this wall and your second one right over here when you hear or see some enemies at B you can toss one cage here and your second one over here and then from here you can basically just play off of your cam when you see an enemy getting close to one of your trips go toward towards that side of the tube here and kind of hug the wall then when they hit it you can pop your cage swing out and get a kill off that and same thing if they're coming on this side hug the wall pop your cage and get a kill off it you could also play in tube off this but it's a bit more risky so usually I play back site all right now moving on to a this first setup that I have to show you is absolutely insane here's how you do it start off by coming in heaven and jump throwing your cam on these white circles up here and then come over here and throw your first trip off of this wall and your second one across bathroom door now I'll show you guys a one way for bathroom door to do it walk into this corner look at this dark line here and toss your cage this is a perfect one way and your enemies can't see you at all with it there's two different ways to play off of this setup and I'll explain them both to you guys the first spot that you can play from is up in heaven and this is my personal favorite way to play off of this you can basically just sit up here and play off of your cam this cam gives you really good info on basically all of sight so make sure to Cal what you see if somebody comes out and they hit this strip you can throw a cage here pop it and easily spray them down a quick note though a lot of times Heaven is smoked off by the time they hit the trip so you don't always need to throw a cage and for the bathroom trip if they hit it pop your cage and then swing out and you can spray him down the second way to play off of the setup is from behind triple and you play off of it basically the same way you're going to want to play back here and sit on your cam once you hear or see some enemies at a you can toss your second cage here then if somebody hits this strip you can pop this cage and get a frag off that and you can also use this cage to lurk around side if you want to and for your bathroom trip if they hit it again just pop your cage and get a off of it you could change this trip out for this one if you wanted to this one is best for to lay and plant and if they do hit it you can pop this cage and then swing out here and get a free frag all right now moving on to the next setup for this one jump throw your cam up here then throw your first STP off of this wall and for the second one you're going to want to wait for the walls to go down and as soon as it does just run into bathroom and throw your second trip here and pair it with the cage off of this setup you can play in bath you have your cam to get you site info and if somebody comes out and they hit this STP you can pop the cage and spray them down and then if you want to leave bath during the round you can throw your second cage here and easily cross over to triple and you can also use this cage to spray anyone down who hits this STP the final setup that I have to show you is inspired by liquid gats and it's super clean and to do the setup you're going to want to jump through your cam on the top left of this wall the reason that I throw it on the top left is so I can see into bathroom with it and also get a pretty good view onto site now for the trips you're going to want to throw one off of this box like this and the second one off of this little angle just right here toss your first cage here and then you can play back and U-Haul off this with this you can sit on your cam and when somebody comes out and they hit one of your trips you can pop the cage and get a pretty easy kill off of it if you want it to be a real demon you could even buy an Odin and when they hit one of your trips just spray them through the wall and yeah that's the setup let's move on to attack moving on to attack we'll start with the most important thing and that is how to hold flank on bind for a perfect flank hold you do need two trips now there's a whole bunch of different trip coms that you can do but I'm just going to show you guys the best overall one now to do it toss one trip right here at head height make sure it's at head height so your enemies can't jump over it or Crouch under and then throw your second trip right here once again at head height but put this one at the top of your head so it's just barely above your camera and that makes it so they can't jump it from this thing these trips give you a perfect flank hold there's no way for anybody to get around it without hitting or breaking one and this is the only pair of trips that I know of that can do this so I throw this almost every round but if you only have money for one trip what you can do is throw this trip here and then pair it with your cam and just throw it somewhere around here so it catches anyone who tries to go into cave or flank you from long this obviously isn't as good as having a second trip but it's viable if you can only afford one moving on to B attack util the first thing I want to look at is attack cams and the first ones for hookah to do this you can just peek this angle quickly toss a cam out and this will clear all of hookah for you you can also throw your cam up on this angle and this is useful if hookah window is smoked off because it lets you see over the smoke and even a bit into back site now for be long you can throw a cam like this and this will give you really good info F on garden and it also lets you see into this little area which can be useful now moving on to a attack cams a lot of times what I'll do is wait for the wall to go down and as soon as it can I'll just toss a cam here and this will clear anyone trying to push up short and then once I get that info I'll take the cam back you can also stand behind this box and jump through your cam up here this gives you a really good angle on site and it's also hard for the Defenders to see this Cam and if I'm going bath it can be good to wait for the wall to drop and as soon as it does just throw a cam somewhere around here and this will see anyone who's peing you from bath today I'll teach you you guys how to master Cipher on split we'll start off with pistol round setups and my favorite one is it B so I'll show you that one first the buy for this is one trip two cages and light shield and for the cam come up on rafters and jump throw it high on this wall like this and now we're going to throw a one way for main to do it walk into the left side of this door here and then look up at this dark piece of wood then go over until you're on the lighter side and toss your cage for your trip throw it off of this angle so it goes like this off of the setup we can play back in this corner sit on our cam and play off of our oneway this Cam and oneway combo is probably the best one in the game and that's because of the angle of the cam it's super high up which allows you to see your enemies way before they can see you like for example your enemies could be this far back in Main and you'd still be able to see them but they wouldn't be able to see your cam at all they're not able to see it until they're this far out and even at this point most people will miss it but yeah off of this setup we can play back here on our Cam and when you see that your enemies are standing under your oneway you can just pop it swing out and you basically have a free Kill from that for the second cage there's two different things that you can do the first one is just throwing it up here so you have two one ways but the other way to use it is by throwing it about here then when somebody hits your trip you can pop it and get another frag off that or you could pop it if you want to run on to the other side of site moving on to the a pistol round setup this one has the same buy as the other one so we're going to buy one trip two cages and light Shield the cam for this setup is up on this wall just jump throw it like this then you can throw your trip down here and play over an elbow while you're an elbow you can sit on your cam and this cam gives you a really good view of sight it also shows shows you if anyone crosses to ramp and you can see a bit into heaven now off of this when you hear some of your enemies a a you can just toss a cage like this and when they start running out and they come up to your trip and they hit it you can pop the cage swing out and get a free kill off that now for your second cage you can really use it however it comes in handy a lot of times I find it useful to throw it here and then run off a sight with it now we're going to take a look at full setups starting off with b i play this site differently than I do with most other sites in valerant because what I do is I throw the cam and oneway combo that I showed you earlier and then I just rotate through a whole bunch of different trips with it here's some of the different variations that I like to use start off by throwing your cam up here and then throw the One Way by walking into this side of the door looking at the dark part of the wood and going over to the light now the trips that I use most often are throwing one right here and the other one up on rafters like this when you're playing off of this setup you can just play close to this wall and when you see them on your cam standing under your one way you can just pop it swing out and get a free frag again they're not going to be able to see it all here now the reason that I throw both my my trips for this side of the site is because a majority of the time your one way is going to be enough to stop your opponents from even trying to push into B through main so if they still want to hit B after seeing the one way they're most likely going to hit it by going through heaven so we want to have good coverage of that part of the site so yeah off of this we'll play close to this wall and if your enemies do come up into heaven you can kind of hide behind this box and you'll see them on cam way before they know where you are so yeah you can just hide behind this box throw a cage here and if they end up hitting one of your trips you can just pop it and have a pretty easy frag off of that by the way if your enemies do still try to explode on Main after seeing your one way you're still pretty safe because when you see them coming out on your cam you can easily just throw a cage here and have a pretty safe way to get off of sight the second pair of trips that I like to throw is having one off of this trash can like this and throwing the second one off of this wall off of this setup we can play off of the one way basically the same way that we did on the other ones but the difference now is that it's a bit stronger because it has a trip paired with it the reason I don't throw this trip all the time is because if your enemies know where it is it's fairly easy for them to break while they're running out out but using it every once in a while can definitely be good so yeah when they hit the trip you can just pop the cage and get your frag off that if your enemies are able to get through your trip and cage and they decide to commit to B you can play around this box here and while they're coming out you can toss your second cage here when they hit this trip you can pop the cage get a frag off that and then also use it to fall back if you need to here's some more good trips that you can do on B I like to throw this one over here at head height a lot of people will run out of main pretty mindlessly and hit the strip and when they do hit it you can just wall bang them through here if my enemy have a jet that likes to dash out of men or a raise that likes to Satchel out then I'll throw this strip here and a lot of times it'll stop them because they'll hit it while they're coming out and yeah it's really strong for that and here's kind of a bonus trip for Mid a lot of times while I'm rotating I'll throw a trip like this and it just stops any mid lurks that come up later in the round moving on to full a setups for the first one come onto Rafters and jump through cam high up here throw your first trip off of this wall so it goes like this and your second one off of this angle just like this off this setup you can play elbow and again your cam gives you giv you a good view onto site and it also lets you see anyone who crosses onto ramp but anyway when you start hearing enemies at a you can toss one cage here and when they come up and they hit either of your trips you can pop the cage swing out and you have a pretty easy frag off of that you can also use this cage to move around site if you want to go two screens or back to Elbow from screens and for my second cage most of the time I throw it here and I pop it either when somebody hits one of my trips so if they hit it I'd pop it and then swing out and get a kill off that or I use the cage to run back into screens if I have to give up sight moving on to the next day up for the cam we'll throw the same one that we did with the first one and then for your first trip come over to Main and throw it like this throw your second trip off of this box here and then off of this we can play over in screens and when you hear some enemies at a you can toss one cage here and then sit on your cam now when they come out and they hit either one of your trips you can pop your cage and have a pretty easy frag off that and you can even throw your second cage here if they end up hitting both of your trips now moving on to the final setup in this video for the cam you're going to want to come onto Rafters and jump throw it high up here just like this and for your first trip throw it here and the second one you can just throw right about here this setup is basically a full version of the pistol round setup that I showed you with the cam that we have with this we're able to see into Main and that's really good early info to have if you see someone just calm that to your team once you see someone you can also toss a cage here and when they come out and they hit one of your trips you can pop the cage and get a frag off that then you can do the same thing with this one here cage triggered or once again you could use the cage to run off into screens moving on to the attack part of the video the first first thing I want to look at here is how to hold flank holding flank at B is super easy all you have to do is come somewhere in this area and toss your trip at head height and no one's going to be able to get past if you want to throw a second trip for flank you can throw one here and this will give you a bit earlier info if somebody tries to flank you through mid now to hold flank at asight again this one's super simple just come up to this wall somewhere and toss it at head height if you have money for two trips though you can do something a little bit better that'll give you earlier info on anyone trying to flank so if you have two I like to throw one of my trips right here here and the second one in sewers just like this again both of these variations can hold flank perfectly but if you have money for the second trip it's good to throw cuz it'll get you that information a little bit earlier moving on to attack cams a has a really strong attack Cam and you've probably seen it before but you might not know how to throw it so here it is you're going to want to jump up on these boxes here and this will let you jump through your cam on this wall and you can throw this pre-round so as soon as the walls drop you can pop your cam and this will let you see if anybody's pushing close from here or if anyone's playing in screens the info that this cam gets is really strong to have just make sure that you comment to your teammates a also has a few good attack cages that you can do one strong one is throwing it on ramp here if you want to throw that and then try to run onto site or you could even throw one over here and this will make it so your enemies can't tell if you crossed over to ramp or not and yeah it's super strong there's also a good attack Cam that you can do at Mid if you just peek out real quick and toss it on the wall this cam will let you see deep into mail as well as some events and even if you don't end up taking mid it can give you strong info throughout the whole round when you're attacking B you can Peak this angle real quick and toss a cam on this wall and this will let you clear close right and left without having to send someone out throwing a cage here while you're coming out onto site can also be good just to kind of block off these angles and make things a bit easier all right so the first thing that I want to look at is pistol round setups Ascent has really good pistol round setups On A and B so I'll show you both sides personally my Cipher pistol round by is a trip wire two cages and shield and for asight like to jump up on genen cam just under these windows on the wall just like this then you can trip off Main throw it up as high as you can and have it pretty tight about here that'll make it harder for them to shoot so you can toss that pair that with the cage then you can come over here and either play behind dice or genen completely up to you both work good for this example I'll use dice though cuz I play there more and when you're actually behind this you can stand pretty far away um because they won't be able to see you until they hit your trip and the further away you are the better swing you have so you can come out like this kind of see what I'm saying so yeah we'll stand around here here and wait for them to come in and hit our trip when they do we can pop our cage get our frag off that and we can fall back to here then we have our second cage for whatever it comes in handy for we can either throw it here if we want to cross to genen or go into hell later in the round or you can use it however else you think you should throughout the round and the cam that we have for this um it actually watches all the way into tree this makes it so anyone who comes into tree and tries to go up top is going to get seen by her cam or anybody who comes out a tree so yeah it's a really good pistol round setup let's move on to B so B has two different cams that you can throw one is going to pair with our trip and help us hold sight and the other one's going to help us to hold mid if you want to throw the mid cam all you have to do is when you spawn in jump up this thing here then just throw your cam up there um as you're going over to sight and as you can see this will give you a really good angle on Mid and the second Cam that we can throw is above main just like this for our trip we'll just throw it along the ground like this throw it as far as you can that'll make it harder for enemies to break and we're going to pair this with a cage to throw it stand on top of your trip then ping 4 M ahead of yourself like this and drop your cage and off of this setup we can play here here on Lane and kind of hide behind a little wall just like this and sit on our cam until they come in now once they start coming in and they hit our trips we'll pop our cage swing out and get some frags off that and then once you get your kills off your trip you're able to fall back and either play in this little corner and try to get a little ratty pick or you can come back in a boat house and play over here all right so now we're going to move on to full setups for the first one I'm going to show you it's a a and we're going to come jump up on Jen and throw the same cam as last time and also the same trip in cage that we did last time so just like this and for our second trip we'll just throw it along the ground just like this this setup is just like the last one where we can play either dice or genen again most of the time I play genen so I'll use that for an example so we'll sit on our Cam and when we hear them in main toss your cage right there when they come out and hit your trip go pop your cage swing out and you'll get the kills and after that you can kind of fall back behind dice again they'll come in and hit the second trip again you can pop your cage get some kills off that you can wall bang him through here or you could even swing this if you wanted to and if anybody goes over into Jen your Cam's going to see that as well so you'll be able to prepare for it if anyone tries to fight you like this moving on to the second full setup again we're going to throw the same cam this is a beautiful beautiful God cam I throw it nearly every round so you're going to throw that cam put your first trip put it off of these boxes here so it's something like this and your second trip can come off come off the wall put it just barely above the slip so it goes all the way to Jen and toss it here for this setup we're going to play at Jen and once we hear him coming in or once we hear them in main we can toss our cage here and our second one just right here now again when you're playing off of the up you don't have to be all the way tucked into Jen your trips hold a bunch of space for you and playing a little bit further back is safe and also it's just easier to swing off of and gives you a better angle when they come in and they hit our first trip pop our cage and we'll have an easy kill with that and we can even walk over to dice if we want to do that and if they hit this trip again pop our cage and we have an easy frag sometimes it comes in handy to kind of ratten this cage and push up a little bit you would have your cam to help you all right so I have two more strong setups to show you a a for this first one we're going to keep the same cam as before and throw your first trip off of the Box along the ground just like this and for your second one you can throw it off this lip in the wall if they have like a nade or some type of util that can break your trip just throw this up at head height and it won't be able to do that but if they don't have any of that util throw it along the ground off of this setup we'll toss a cage in this doorway and play up here in tree now we can basically just sit in this corner until they come in and hit either of our trips and once we do we can pop our cage and we can swing off that and get easy kills you could also swing from down here if you wanted to and for your second cage you can either throw it in the doorway again that comes in to be useful or you can save it and use it however you think you should as the round's going on my last a setup is a high penetration wall bang setup I normally buy an Aries or an Odin for this obviously the Odin's going to be better just cuz it's a better gun you guys already know what cam we're using um in the first trip just goes at head height off of the Gen just like this and the second one goes along the ground right here off of the setup you can sit on cam in heaven you know that you're safe from tree cuz your cam holds all of it and when they come out and they hit your trips you can wallbang them and get easy frags off that from either side and if they do end up planting the bomb you can easily just throw your cage like this and that'll let you drop down into hell without them even seeing you you guys know I love my Odin setups and this is probably the best one in the game all right so now we're going to take a look at a setups and this first one that I have to show you I already showed my last Ascent guide but it's a really good setup and I feel like people watching this should know it too we're going to throw our first trip just in pieza like this and then come over here and throw this same Cam and trip that we did last time along with the same cage so yeah we'll sit on Lane wait for them to come in then when they do pop cage get our frags off that and by the way you can also shoot them through here if they hit your trip on this side for our second B set up we'll throw the same trip in mid like this then we'll come over here to mark it stairs crouch in this corner make sure that you crouch and then look at this chimney on this house and throw your cage that'll give you a nice one way just like this and we're going to pair this one way with a trip to do it look at logs here and throw it off this one so just like this and then once we have our trips and our one way down we're going to jump up here before the round starts and as soon as the wall goes down run and jump your cam into main just like that and then we'll play in this corner here at switch and we'll wait for him to come out and hit our trip which once they do we can pop our one way and we have an easy kill they can't see us at all here and yeah those are all of my Ascent setups now I want to show you guys some stuff on attack most importantly how to hold flank he is really simple all that you do is come here and make sure that you throw the trip at head height so your enemies can't jump or Crouch under it and put it as close to the wall as you can and that'll give you a perfect flank hold and for the B flank all that you have to do is come into this doorway and throw it a head level just like this and this Trip's cool cuz it's hard for enemies to break unless they're really close if you have the extra money another good thing that you can do just to keep more space for your team is throw a trip like this across tiles that'll give you early info and if they end up committing to the flank after hitting that trip they'll hit your other one too and yeah it's pretty strong now I'm going to show you some other useful things you can do with your util on attack the first one is this a attack cam all that you do is come over on C when the round starts look here and then jump through a cam on the wall by the way if you don't want your enemies to know that you're cat you can just do a Crouch jump like this and do it silently but anyway this Cam's going to give you a really good angle on Mid and it's just good info that you can have for most of the round a lot of times even when people are peeking out of Market here they're not going to see your cam because it's covered up by the arch right here for them and you can still see them another thing you can do with a is jump up here and then you can ping these two spots on the map and jump through your cages and hit them basically perfectly and it just acts as a little smoke for your team that's pretty useful the last thing that I have to show you guys today is a post plant trip and basically once you get the bomb down even if the door is closed um just throw a trip like this throw it right across the door and people can't break this without walking into it so once they do start walking out you're most of the time going to have a free kill and you can even pair it with a cage if you want to now here's some good stuff to do when you're playing B the first thing again is an attack cam you're just going to jump up here onto the orb and then if you look out this window and jump throw you can put your cam on this wall which lets you see almost every angle and whoever you see you can Cal to your team and it's just insane in to have and another thing that you can do with this box is Ping Market door as well as a stairs right here then you can easily throw a cage on that and you can throw one on this and yeah just makes your sight take way easier you don't have to throw both a lot of times your controller is going to smoke market for you but if they don't you can throw that one all right so for the first B setup we're going to throw our cam in this window first STP goes across M and we're going to pair it with a oneway to throw it stand in this corner here and then look at the dark edge of this little plank of wood here then just go up until you hit this part toss your cage and then we're going to throw our second trip off of this angle here just like this and as you can see you can kind of hide it inside of here just to make it a bit harder to break if you wanted to you could replace this trip for one just along the ground here both of them are strong then we're going to play off the setup in back site and basically sit on our cam this Cam's really good because it lets us hold market and Main at the same time so yeah we're going to sit on our Cam and once they come out and hit our trip we'll pop the cage swing out and get our frag and then basically the same thing for for this one if they hit the trip pop the cage and then get a frag off that too all right so for the second B setup there's two different cams that you can throw the first one is just on this palm tree here like this and the second one's above B man just like this then we're going to toss the same trip as last time and we're going to pair it with a different one way to do it jump up on these boxes and then if you look in the middle of this rectangle here and toss a cage it'll give you a nice consistent one with and then the second trip is just real simple just throw it like this so it can hold market for you and then we're going to play off this setup pretty similarly to the last one basically just stand over here on cam and when they come out and hit your trip you can pop your cage and get yourself some frags off that these two one ways for main are so strong and I recommend that you guys throw them until your enemies can prove that they're able to counter it the only way that you can break this trip without getting hit by it is either by using a phoenix ult a yoru clone or a fade dog so if your enemies don't have those just throw this one way every single time and they're going to keep on feeding you kills all right so if your enemies do figure out how to counter it one way here's another good setup that you can throw throw your first trip along the ground just like this second one like this and then throw your cam up on this pickle sign here and then off the setup we're going to play over in backside again and basically sit on your cam and let them hit your trips when they do you can toss your cage and swing out and get a frag and then same thing for the second one here the last thing that I want to show you guys at B is as soon as the wall goes down you're actually able to throw your cam into Main and this can be really strong for getting info if you do throw this though try not to pop it too early or the enemies will hear it and end up breaking it you could also throw a trip here when the wall goes down and pair that with the cage let him walk into it and then get yourself a frag and yeah those are all my B setups all right so moving over to a there's two plays on this site that I think every Cipher man should know the first one is pretty simple it's just throwing your cam in this window this cam is super strong because what it allows you to do is have full a man info as soon as the wall drops basically you can pop this Cam and then instantly let your team know there's 3A or 5A or whatever and this is basically impossible for your opponents to counter the second thing I want to show you guys is a nice oneway there's two different ways way that you can throw it the first one is standing on the side of this box looking here and then toss in your cage off this you can basically just let your enemies walk up when they do pop the cage then you can Crouch and spray them down while they can't see you at all you can also throw this one way for your teammate um that's probably the best thing to do just so you don't risk losing your trips but obviously you can't always do that if you're soloy or whatever but if you do want to do it all you have to do is stand here line this part of your Hut up with the top of this triangle and then move over until you hit this dark line here then just toss your cage the this one way is really strong and it'll get you a bunch of frags all right so for the first a setup we're going to throw our cam up on this building just like this first strip goes along the ground like this paired with a cage and the second one is just going to go right here now off this setup I like to play in this spot and sit on my cam this Cam's really strong because it basically lets you see if anybody walks out of Main and goes into this area so yeah from here we're just playing off our trips when they hit the first one pop your cage and get a frag off that and then same thing with the second one if you wanted to you could throw this cam instead and then hold both of these angles at the same time both of them are strong it's just personal preference all right so for the next a set up we're going to cam high up on this wall first strip goes off of this box just like this then the second one is going to go over an elbow then off this setup we can actually play behind this radi KN box and when they hit this strip we're able to spray them down and get a free pick from there and then if you end up having a fall back you can just pop a cage here and run off a sight for the final set up we're going to keep the same trip and elbow and either use this cam or the one up here and then for our second trip we can just throw it off of this angle here and pair it with the cage then off this we can play in this corner here when they hit the strip pop your cage and then spring out get a frag and you can back out all right so moving over to defense if you're planning on attacking B the best trip that you can do is just on this door right here and then you can actually instantly cam into this window here which is super strong because What it lets you do is tell your teammates if any of your enemies are walking into Main or peeking or whatever and then you're also able to hold mid with this Cam and then if you're planning on hitting a you have another early info Cam that you can throw you just toss your cam into this window here and this will allow you to let your team know if anybody's peeking a in or over an elbow if you throw this Cam and do end up seeing someone normally it's going to get broken but the info that you get is definitely worth it and then for trips I think the best thing that you can do is just throwing it simply like this starting off at B this first setup that I'm going to show you is probably the best Cipher setup for this map so here it is you're going to want to jump on this box here and cam high on the wall first trip goes across main paired with a cage then for your second trip you can throw it off this wall here and kind of tuck it just so it's hidden behind the box like this and we can pair this with a one way to do it stand in this corner over here then look at this brick go down to the bottom part of it toss your cage and then off the setup we can play over here in back site and basically just sit on our cam until they start coming in when they come in and hit your first trip you can pop your cage jump on these boxes and spray them down or you can stay down here and just shoot them through the wall then once you get your frag off that you can kind of just keep playing around this area your cam holds tunnels so you don't have to worry about that too much then when they come in and hit your second trip you can pop your cage and spray them down you'll be able to see them almost completely here but they can't see you at all here's what it looks like for the enemies they can't see you at all when they're in the one way super strong setup for the second B setup we're going to throw the same cam up on the wall here first trip goes off this pillar then the second one is going to go off the wall just like this paired with the cage now to play off the up we're going to sit behind these boxes here and r on our cam when they come out and hit the first STP we'll jump up here and shoot them through the wall then for the second one we'll let him hit the trip pop our cage and then spray them down once they hit both your trips you can use your second cage like this and then kind of run back here to where you're safe this is another really nice setup that'll get you a whole bunch of frags for the final B setup we can either throw the same cam as before or we can throw it along the ground like this if your enemies haven't broken your cam up here yet just keep throwing it every time it's definitely the strongest one for this site we're going to throw our first STP off of this wall just like this and then the second one just like this now off the setup we're going to play it half wall and I actually think that it's best to use a guardian with the setup because we're going to be going for wall bangs you can use a phantom or Vandal if you want to but I just find the guardian to be much stronger so as always when the round starts we're going to be sitting on our Cam and kind of just waiting for them to come out and then when they do come out and hit our trip we can either wall bang them through here or through this part then once you get your frags off that you can just start playing a bit more passive if anybody tries to push you through mid or through sight you'll know beforehand because you have your cam and then if they come up and hit our second trip we can either shoot them through the wall or we can swing out and get our frags like that and if you end up needing to leave site you can just toss a cage like this and then back up into McDonald's all right so moving over to a for the first setup we're going to throw our cam high up on this box just like that first STP is going to go off of here just like this and then the second one like this now off the setup we're going to play behind the titties when the round starts you're just going to want to sit on your cam then when they come out and hit your first STP pop your cage swing out get your frag off that and then for the second one you can do the same thing if you wanted to you could play on this side of the titties as well the only difference would be that you toss your cage here instead of over here and yeah play off it the same way when they come out here trip pop a cage get your frag off that and then same thing with the second one for the next setup we're going to throw a cam up on this thing here toss your first strip just like this and then for the second one wait till the wall goes down and when it does just kind of throw it along the ground toss one your CAG is in the middle of the titties and then the second one just here now off this setup we're going to play it basically how we do all the other ones sit under Cam and then when they come out and hit your first STP you can pop your cage swing out and spray them down with this cage you're able to shoot them no matter what trip they hit so it's really nice then you can also swing off these cages and spray them down no matter what trip they hit I have two more a setups to show you stick around for the last one because it might be the strongest for this site for the next setup we're going to throw the same cam as last time first trip's going to go off of this wall just like this and then for the second one we'll throw it along the ground here once the wall drops toss one cage here the other one like this and then you're going to want to play back in this corner and sit on your cam until they run out and hit your trips when they do pop your cage swing out and get a frag off that and then for the second one you can do the same thing if you end up needing to you could also use a second cage here um to escape over to the titties and yeah this is a really strong setup it'll get you a whole bunch of frags so a little preface for this final setup you have to be very fast to get it down before the wall drops it's definitely possible I do it all the time but just a word of warning you got to be fast so here it is we're going to stick with the same Cam that we've been throwing first cage is going to go up in the titty trip off of this box just like this and the second trip is going to go like this then once you toss all this you're going to want to run back up to the stairs and as soon as the wall drops hit the door and run in here just so you know you do have time to get in the door and be safe before the enemies come out of cave you just got to be fast so yeah we're going to play in this little room here and when they come out and hit either of your trips you're going to pop this cage swing out and get your frag off that you can toss your second cage here and with this cage there's two different ways that you can use it for the first one you can just wait till they hit your second trip and pop it get your frag off that or you could use it to walk down the stairs and kind of sneak out of there
