[Music] what's going on everybody z here welcome back to some more no man's sky so we're continuing the companions update now i believe that my companion friend if it would stop freaking out for a second hey get over here stop it stop freaking out for a second i think it's time oh you have to be in the native climate to induce an egg oh okay okay okay that's interesting um also i wonder if there was an update because now it says give uh creature pellets which this was definitely an ion cube creature before so uh yeah i don't know but let's go to a planet in which you're comfortable so we were at a spire planet before um i wonder if it just has to be any like kind of crazy looking planet i want to say i have let's see what we got here cadmium oh cadmium might be good activated ending oxygen uh let's go to a hexagon planet let's see if you're uh if you'll be happy in a hexagon plan anyways we're back with some more companion updates today we're going to try to check out the egg stuff we're going to try to hatch something i have a feeling there's going to be a timer associated with the hatching but we might be able to skip past that and check out what we get but thank you genetically modify the egg experiment with egg sequester to breed unique new creatures oh okay so let's call you in here what's up ma what's up my friend uh induce egg oh my god you just pooped out an egg we have a viable egg for you best friend an egg it's so funny i love it uh we better give you a treat oh yeah look at that it was super hungry there you go here have another one on the house i know you don't even need it but oh you love it okay so another 23 hours for that so now that you're happy here let's kind of see what we have that we can use um so platinum cadmium i don't i don't really know like i was kind of looking at the uh the web page or the the update information and it kind of showed a few things in the egg stuff uh you know what let's just let's just let's go let's just do it let's make it happen i want to check it out so obviously we need to make it as red as we can but it also needs to be bigger i feel like we need a bigger pet or a bit yeah we definitely need a bigger pet uh can we call this the oh return to space anomaly oh heck yeah why do i have that option oh no i don't i didn't go through the space anomaly that's super weird it gave me the option to do that okay so let's go in here and let's check out what kind of egg things we can do all right so companion x can be genetically re-sequenced visit the egg sequencer to modify an egg all right so let's get in here and let's go ahead and put in a companion egg and growth hormone if we put larval core in there decreasing not good not good um okay so growth hormone what could we put in there oxygen increasing dose a hundred percent um hold on let's see what else do we have carbon what does carbon do increasing does 100 carbon height weight increase there's not like a percentile with it but tritium decreasing okay so what about what else do we have platinum pugnium uh uranium um storm crystal hydrogen jelly trying to think what would what would like maybe naturally grow i mean that's why i kind of was like oxygen would probably be good do we have any phosphorus we have phosphorus can we do a dye injector unstable okay what happens if we do like carbon does it just say it doesn't say so i don't know which one's which okay so hold on if we did carbon on here helpfulness is decreasing uh what if we did oxygen helpfulness is decreasing okay tritium helpfulness increasing that's only a two percent dose why is it only a two percent dose oh it's because i only had two percent of it um what about phosphorus decreasing okay we want we want like we want super helpfulness what happens all right we're sequencing the egg modification complete oh my gosh 24 hours note the sega has uh weight height increased helpfulness has increased scans indicate the being with the genetic potential to be very large and gentle oh very large okay so obviously i don't want to wait for this so we're gonna have to uh we're gonna have to pull some shenanigans here but that's okay um because we could also grab another egg try another one and i don't know if our let's see our other companion if our other companion is ready yet uh how are you how are you doing uh too young to lay eggs okay so you're still just too young all right anyways okay so let's go ahead wait can we only have one creature out of time yes oh this big metal place best friend is safe all right so we're gonna skip some time here and uh we're gonna see what this thing hatches into i am so excited very large and gentle oh i'm so excited okay time to do a save let's do it all right we are ready to go a living fertile egg ready to hat wait what hatch egg this hatches egg into a new companion ready to hatch oh it just updated an egg is ready to hatch in to a new companion look at the end and then hit e well says e egg's still developing oh it worked okay all right i gotta redo this all right we're gonna try this again inventory hatch okay all right let's do it oh wait you're really purple oh that's cool but like it's not red i want you to be red i bet it's gonna be really big though x-ray to hatch into a companion okay okay all right uh let's go let's go back to my planet let's grab another egg i like you but you're really really purple you know like i wanted more of a red i mean ours was already really it was already red like i want even more red you know what i'm saying we need like a super vibrant red alright we are back here now let's call in our creature buddy again let's call in you and i bet you're ready to lay an egg right and do seg thank you thank you i will take that another viable egg okay so you're already super red so maybe the color we shouldn't mess with uh let's go and take a peek at this oh you're pretty red you're kind of more of a purpley like a magenta color now it says this thing is gonna be huge hey come back here i'm gonna i'm gonna feed you here there you go gently pat give me more creature pellets so maybe it might be ideal to do one trait at a time so i'm thinking maybe we should have done the size first uh getting it larger and then starting to mess with color i might have to do that we might have to play with that a little bit that is super cool though um because you're like yeah you're like a purpley magenta color or it's like our other guy is a little bit more red now did it change any of the colors of the lighting on it no it still looks like it's fairly blue uh what the heck you just pooped good job there guy proud of you super super purpley color i wonder and that was phosphorous too so phosphorus is a really oh you should do it with cadmium cadmium's like a super red red did i do phosphorus or cadmium i'm almost positive i did phosphorus we need cadmium because cadmium is super super red all right so what we're gonna do is we're gonna get some cadmium oh lots of salvage jetta oh what salvage data oh thank you you are extremely helpful see that's another trait extremely helpful too okay uh we're gonna grab cadmium and we're gonna try that and see how that goes um and then again with the very large what did we use for that we used oxygen i think to make it larger all right we're gonna make a bigger one and we're gonna try to make it red and more helpful man i kind of wish we could just get an egg from this one because this one already has some of the traits you know feeling chipper um but how long does it take for you to grow so if we go into here and look at our companion registrar um trust 75 percent infant this one's still an infant this one's mature native climate unusual native kind of unusual so i wonder how long it takes for them to grow up if it's because this one's still an infant but it's not it doesn't seem like it's growing if i don't have it out so i wonder if there's like a certain time frame of it running around that it has to be in order to grow up so okay all right we're gonna try to make this uh we're gonna try to make this egg red thank you you're awesome but i don't think i'm gonna yeah we're gonna keep it who am i kidding we're gonna keep what is that there's cadmium right there well let me just go grab that cadmium real quick you know i think we have academy of mine this update than i've ever had before kind of weird i'm hoping they come out with some patches soon um i wanted cadmium and a i kept i was getting hit by something or something i don't know cargo do i have cadmium in my cargo i don't uh what about freighter i can't tell because i'm not within range of the freighter i probably have cadmium with my freighter let's uh you know what let's let's pop to our home planet real quick and let's see if we have some cadmium we should all right let's pop down into here and let's see if we have any cadmium in any of these stores just hmm oh hypnotic eye and that was actually something uh that we saw that i saw was in the uh in the screen shots that was increasing growth i believe oh hexite uh no cadmium we want cadmium well once you know we actually don't have any cadmium that is super unfortunate okay so let's see let's go to base building and let's see if we have the stuff to make some cadmium grabbing stuff yeah i don't know what was going on it was super weird i was having issues with let's see i can make what 25 of those i only need one and a hollow door and then i need some technology we're gonna need uh probably let's see mineral extractor we need some metal plating uh more metal plating some ferrite dust and then we're gonna need some power of some sort so we'll probably go with uh a couple of those gold chromatic metal let's see am i out of gold how much gold do i have oh i have a lot of gold oh in the storage ship i have a lot of gold okay so let's go back to our let's go back to our mine or academy of mine let's set up a thing to gaps grab some cadmium real quick oh man that was rough i don't know what happened all right so cadmium site alpha here we are doesn't look like we're in a storm this time that's fantastic foundations first foundations would be nice but i don't have i don't fear i test i don't really have enough for this that's fine we'll just do this that and we're going to grab more rocks darn it wait this one of those brand new storage depot and i don't have metal plating good gosh ferrite dust i can't believe i'm out of ferrite dust like who who runs out of fairy dust do you know what i mean who does that nobody does that all right now we should have enough to go ahead and get our supply depot in here now i don't really like need a lot i just want like you know a little bit at the standby actually how much can you actually hold it's not like 42 or 1250 okay extraction zero per hour that's because we don't have any power yet we'll get there we're getting there right now uh let's see check let's do some what industry power i'm gonna build one of you fantastic what about one of these no metal plating are you kidding me are you kidding me do i have the metal plating is the worst oh that's a biofuel reactor i need a battery which means i need condensed carbon i can build what eight of these okay let's get that going uh condensed carbon i should be able to make that in my backpack let's see we have carbon let's go and put that in the portable refiner that's going to make condensed carbon but we needed what how much condensed carbon do we need like 200 i think okay so we'll let that run uh let's go ahead and get these powered up connect you to there you to there and then we're gonna run a battery right here and we're gonna power this place and these okay cool and actually while we're here let's go look at this buddy this little tentacle dude can we can we uh maintain you no i don't think i'd want to anyways to be completely honest i don't think i'd want to perfect oh we can make a couple batteries all right so let's make one we're gonna make one right here right here we're gonna just throw one right there that'll work okay and then we'll allow this stuff to get powered off of that so you to there you to there you to this guy and then you to this guy and you too there perfect okay so everything's powered up looking good what is our power draw time to charge enough is there another academy on deposit around here somewhere um yeah i don't know if that's gonna be enough so i'd rather have too much than not enough oh we gotta get our friend out come on we can't overdose this though i wonder if a hypnotic eye would be better than auction probably is it probably us all right die injector that's where we're gonna go with cadmium and then neural calibrator did we do oxygen again helpfulness decreasing no oh we did tritium we did a lot of tritium last time tritium oh that's only a half a dose what oh we don't have a full dose of tritium to it's even more purple than the other one maybe i need to stop messing with color it's very purple are you more purple than the other one okay hold on let's see so rostella it's like the same color purple okay so you know we might just be better off utilizing this color here hmm and just making a larger one because i want to get a large one you know and i guess this would just happen to be like the perfect color all right well let's go grab another egg and let's do it again all right let's call her buddy and we need another egg man you are working hard i'm just saying uh there we go green egg and then hey thank you for the egg appreciate it uh let's give you some creature pellets and can i have this viable egg fantastic okay so you are pretty much the right color off the bat now um yeah i think we just need to try to make it larger so let's see let's look at let's look at these guys yeah see i mean you're you're just a very vibrant magenta and then so was our last one right yeah pretty much the same color so i like uh i like this color better it'd be kind of cool if we could get it with like black stripes on it but i don't think there's like that i don't think you heard that capable what in the heck is that that's a creature isn't it that is a creature that's funny okay so this is our color choice that we're going to be sticking with but we want to make it uh bigger and helpful bigger and helpful was there any differences i see you okay i see you is there was there any differences between this one and this one i i don't think so i think you look exactly the same because we did the uh we did the variant in the genetics variant i think it's exactly the same unless it had more cogs on its head how many cogs you have on your head come on stop moving around uh what like five on each side is was the other one different in that way no you saw five on each side too okay all right so we gotta get we gotta try to make it larger so that's the one we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna get this egg larger and more helpful and i think that's all we're gonna mess with until we get as large as we can and hopefully uh we can get a larger one we can get that one up to mature and then get an egg from that one so on and so forth repeat the process and see how big we can actually get these things because this doesn't this isn't that big i think there's bigger creatures out there all right it is egg sequencer time throw that in there growth hormone hypnotic eye increasing yeah we'll try it uh and then what did we decide on this oh it was the tritium right one hatch okay so you should be perfect red and hungry nice okay here's a creature palette for you there's another creature palette for you now i don't know how long it takes for these things to mature so let's do this let's go to here let's go to our companion register uh and then you are a juvenile wait you're already a juvenile are you already a juvenile holy moly okay so are you gonna be bigger than the other one that's why i'm curious i'm curious if there's like a max size for like a species like how big can this thing actually get you know what i mean now what i think i'm gonna do is i think i'm gonna go to the planet in which these these hatch to see i don't i don't know if there's like a maturing thing like they need to be in their own habitat in order to like grow up i have no idea so we're gonna see how long it takes for these things to actually grow up because it's kind of interesting it's already a juvenile we just hatched it you would think it'd be an infant right but it's not okay and then while we're here we actually could call in you and we could actually get an egg from you and we can hold that one as like our og egg i think we'll go ahead and do that uh you you didn't give me an egg [Music] hey good job viable egg perfect okay now does it say like a name a mommy a mommy's okay so you are the og egg we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna put that into our starship and then we're going to go ahead and call in our new friend you now i don't oh dear ferret look at that oh that's so nice oh 99 geez louise all right so uh yeah i guess we're gonna kind of wait wait you have horns on your face the other one doesn't have horns on his face you have antennas on your face that's super cool super cool little dude he's so excited all right now how long is it gonna take for you to grow up so let's look at the registrar again uh you are a juvenile mature inter yeah the agenda's indeterminate uh because of course independence gentleness playfulness so i guess we're gonna kind of wait i'm gonna skip another day and see how long this thing takes to uh to grow up oh what'd you get what'd you get for me a geode oh very nice that's exciting thank you so be happier okay so that's the size of our og oh the og had a little antennas on his face too okay so there's the size of the og uh no that one is a little bit smaller still okay hmm i wonder if it has to do with play time or time while it's out well on here it says weight height of the full grown one is 45.2 kilograms or 1.1 meters it says this one is 65 kilograms 1.6 meters you don't look bigger though you don't look bigger huh harvested gift uh tooth studded sport wait what is that a scramble organic matter is not clear if this is a life form in its own right or some ejected sever part of a larger being unlikely to be desired to add a galactic exchange select in the inventory used to process into a process protein convert biological substance into raw materials what is that i've never seen that before uh we got more diet i wonder if it's new with the companion update okay i'm gonna try to i'm gonna try to skip another day and i to see if this grows up because it could honestly just be gameplay based maybe you have to just go out and you know play the game with it or something i don't know yeah i skipped another day still a juvenile so i am just thinking that yeah it's going to uh it's it just it's probably time spent out i could be wrong but if it was time based it would i my guess is it would have worked already unless there's like you know unless it's like three four or five days in between but that doesn't make any sense everything is usually 24 hours so i would think that it's probably hey thanks for that you're super helpful it's like i made you super helpful or something you know um but yeah so we're gonna have to wait unfortunately until this one grows up i want to see how big it gets and then for this one leg so we can do the growth again and basically i just want to see if we can make how big we can actually take this uh this this creature type two because i've seen some big creatures i've seen some huge looking like dung beetle things and stuff like that but i like this i like this guy you're like you're like cool you're like my like robot dog friend i like you we could also make it smaller we could also make it smaller but i think bigger is better you know what i mean i think bigger is better so uh yeah well hmm i wonder if there's a way to make them black like is there like a resource that would make them like really dark like black with oh man if it had like if it had red glowing bits on it instead of blue oh we can make it all black and have red glowing i mean it has like red glowy legs that would be kind of cool it'd be kind of hard to see though too so i don't know pretty interesting pretty cool pretty neato i'm excited to play with this more but like i said i think we're going to have to play and we're just going to
