Customer Got Sued

[Music] [Music] good morning everybody steps in with steps lawn care here today is third Wednesday no today is Thursday and we have so guys here's the deal we have not been able to mow the past two days so Tuesday and Wednesday rained all day all night last time it rained a little bit it's still a little wet outside but I think we should be good to go where I'm so low today so we're gonna try to get as many done as we can that are dry enough at least I know there's gonna be a couple yards order to it but we're for sure gonna get I don't know we'll just we'll have to see but we are way behind schedule it's gonna be a gonna be an interesting day say the least so yeah guys we're gonna head to the first yard soon we get there alright guys alright the first one obviously the fescue is sprouted pretty high but sorry the Hondo will take care of it - what use the right so I'm just gonna throw myself on the front so let's get it done [Music] alright guys so we're done here check out this yard man the fescue Honda struck this really nice I did double cut it but looks really nice paid off so this is the fescue this was caught on three and a half but man check that out I double cut the front two and I did back at the fescue so it was really tall as you guys saw but man one down yard looks great one of my favorites to move for sure any more we can do because this yard was very wet but I'm pretty sure that he watered it last night cuz the sprinklers were up a couple of them were up still it looks like that hey we recently got watered so the other yards may not be as wet we're gonna go we're gonna go see him go check him out see if they're wet or not so guys those right oh man we're at the next yard and let me tell you something I wish that I could fit 236 them back it won't fit through this tiny gate it's if this little iron rod wasn't here it would fit man it's like an inch too big but check out how tall this backyard is so I got a push mower full game first of all and yeah check that out man I mean some parts are really tall like those freaking where those Daniel lines are and stuff like that so you guys are in for a treat man is gonna be a good mowing some good mowing footage for sure but we're gonna use the ride on the front and come back cute so let's get her done [Music] [Applause] oh so we got this yard done thank God that I did have to use a push mower because down there guys where it's kind of dead the dormant still it was sloshy as crap i'll sliding all over with the mower and with my feet when I'm standing on it I wouldn't have been able to use the ride if I wanted to so if I could oh I guess oh so yeah guys what we're gonna we eat this one and then load off so see you guys me that your backyard was killer push mowing yeah it took us about an hour and a half while I was mowing my dealer texted me and he said hey come in we got something for you I know what do you got for me but you guys don't know yet and you're not gonna know until we get there so hang tight guys we're gonna go this is that he's got for me you guys might be surprised so stay tuned alright guys so we just pull up to the next yard I did go to my dealer and I got a piece of equipment sitting right here check it out guys I've got the steel BR 800c with the decide star thing right here so there's a certain way to start it with the side start pull it up a little bit and then yank it so we're gonna have to see when we blow this yard off I'll kind of give you guys a little walkthrough on how to use it uh but yeah like I said guys we're gonna mow the front real quick and then move back were quick so you guys will enjoy and also have a question do you guys prefer a long-sleeve short-sleeve shirts to work during the summer personally I prefer long sleeves so it covers my arms I don't have to worry about wearing putting sunscreen on three four times a day so that's what I do let me know what you guys how you guys prefer it another Carlos like short sleeve Jackson like short sleeve just this but I feel like using a long-sleeved you stay cooler especially if it's dry fit because you know the the sweat that you're accumulating on the shirt kind of cools back off and keeps you cool I don't know that's just how I feel so let me know I mean what do you guys think [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] alright guys so we're gonna go ahead and use this lower try it out man yeah might be a problem the weed eaters in the way so maybe I have to switch it to that side probably all we have to do is put the bigger top part on cuz it's the same height as that going hey let's get this thing on I can tell you right now it's lighter than the echo for sure in the pvat 10 let me adjust these straps to how I need it you then you can buckle it around your waist which I don't think I'm gonna do right now okay so you untwist this the nozzle comes out Wow okay cool then you just twist it back to lock it alright we're gonna try to started guys so they said you want to pull it a little bit out and then try to pull it oh it's about to start [Music] [Music] [Applause] okay so guys we just finished up this yard nice and green now by the way I got some things to say about the new steel so oh I'm done for the day I'm gonna head home and give you guys my thoughts but there's some things on you say that surprised me so let's go okay so we are back home and I kind of want to give you my little just from using in a 1-yard and I just blew out my garage this is pretty dirty so I want to give you my two cents on the steel BR 800c Magnum with the side start Oh first things first guys it's way larger than the echo the pvat 10 and I demoed last week about I mean it feels a hundred pounds larger but I know it's only maybe a pound lighter and it feels louder I don't know the specs or anything but the steel feels lighter I love love the side start I'm gonna put a clip in right here but the side start is so easy to use and just so convenient so if you missed a little spot like I was blowing at the other yard and I missed a little spot take the blower off and put on the ground and lift it back up you know I just pull right here up from my side and so it's really convenient really simple that way this one so the steel it has less CFM in the echo but I'm but it cut it blows farther I'm pretty sure that's because of the tube the nozzle is smaller so I like steel it's quieter for sure and it blows farther I like how you can how the tuber tracks back up into itself all you have to do is just unlock you untighten this push it in tighten it back up and you're good to go and it fits in a grito track I've put on the same settings as the echo 770 all I did was put the wider frame on this the holder and so yeah guys like I said I like this personally I like it better than the echo not even a lie so I think that my choice is made up about the next blower I'm getting so yeah but yeah guys someone update you on that story wanted to tell you was basically customer I I had to sue my customer I had to threaten to sue my customer basically so this was last season so don't worry it wasn't any it wasn't recently this is last season so this was back in this happened then may know something in June of last season was when I still had only had my tour l had my old trailer my small trailer and basically what happened was I picked up this new client and it was this elder elderly guy his son lived it was two corner Lots his son lived right across the street from him and they're both not both nice yards fescue and so basically what happened was he hired me I definitely underbid it because honestly guys I don't know why I just underbid it I wasn't thinking and I didn't know how much work it really was would have been so yeah I under bid it and next thing you know we're mowing it we mow this was back before I did a charge card on file now I have card on file for everybody because of this what happened right here and basically what happened was so we mowed his yard we did it for a month so he did it for the month of June yeah we did it all for all four or five weeks of June however many there were that time and so I sent on the invoice he did it was do my invoice is I make him due in 10 days so they have ten days to pay it and so he owed me $400 there's $100 I don't that's how much I bet I don't have it anymore so it was $100 for two corner Lots huge corner lot with fescue really thick grass I always had to triple cut it and I just under grid myself because I was hungry I wanted the business and now I look back and I'm like I cannot believe I did that but so like I said we mowed it and I gave him ten days to pay me it was $400 let's see it was four no it was three weeks later so 20 it was 21 days or basically a week after it was due and I called him I said hey you need to pay this he said oh I'm sorry I forgot to I'll send you a payment right now the week goes by I hear nothing so that at this point I quit servicing his yard and you know I quit servicing I don't show up on the think we voted on a Monday I didn't show up that Monday and he's calling me he's cussing me out he's saying why are you in my house why aren't you get your effing guys out here and come over my effing grass cuz we were on a schedule and I said sir I'm not coming back until you pay that I'm sorry so he said well this is f and BS and custom me out and man it was crazy and so he's still so I quit showing up nothing happened I guess he got someone else to do it but thing is he never paid me so I needed I wanted to get my boy it was like $600 by then because it was six weeks that we mowed so six hundred dollars and he wouldn't pay up so I sent him a court notice and threatened to sue him and because I'll tell you what that worked that check came in the mail I kid you not two days later that six hundred other check wasn't in my mailbox so that was a crazy story having to sue my customer and that's why I switched to payment at time of service so now people either pay me cash check or they I charge their card on file after we at the end of the day or after we pull off the house if I don't forget so that's the reason and I I mean I just wanted to show you that if you guys I mean have you guys ever had to do that ever had to threaten to take your customer to court or threaten to sue them I don't know that's the I mean that's the first time that's happened that happened one more time but I didn't actually sue them they paid up finally I'm getting a phone call this number calls me literally everyday dude I don't know they ought they never leave a voicemail they call me every single day I even blocked them and it still goes through somehow Oh No but anyway so yeah guys that's my story of suing my customer I had to had to lay down the law man so if you guys have any customers aren't paying and it's been a couple months send them a court notice and they will you know send the most likely listen and check right away because nobody wants to pay all the legal fees to go to court and all that stuff so yeah that's my story hope you guys enjoyed it let me know your crazy stories in the comment man we got so much stuff to deal with in all our all of our taming things are expensive and customers don't really understand that but what can you do guys so that's my story wanted to kind of tell you guys that let me know using the in the comments we had the steel demo today good good blower I think I'm made my mind up on what I'm gonna get so yeah guys I'm if it my training in tonight so if it does there's not gonna be a video tomorrow but if it doesn't rain I will have a video tomorrow we'll be out mowing again trying to play some catch up so yeah guys hope you enjoyed this video I will
