[Music] hey there everybody welcome back to the page matt from cork boys barbecue and welcome to medford lakes we're in my backyard and i'm excited for the first time on my page i'm gonna actually do a review and today we're reviewing our cuisinart 360 xl griddle a little different than most griddles you see it's round let's go so while we walk through this review uh you know it'd be kind of boring you sitting here just listening to me talking about a grill so uh i'm gonna cook some smash burgers while we're doing this so not only am i gonna give you my review of the griddle and how i've liked it so far i've been using it for about a month um we're also going to make some smash burgers maybe down the road i'll do a full video on that too so the first few things that are really going to catch your eye about this 360 xl griddle by cuisinart are the size and the shape as in its name 360 degree accessibility it has a drip tray yeah we're going to be making smash burgers a drip tray that travels around the entire griddle no drops no grease no stains it also comes with a lid it's vented you can bake roast and yes you can even smoke so my goal here is not only to give you what i've liked about this griddle in the last month you know we're also going to cook on it so i'm going to show you how this thing operates and the kind of food that you can really put out on this griddle and i'm telling you it's a lot i'm only cooking a few smash burgers here but i've had a few cooks on this thing that i just loaded it up so the first thing you're going to notice and what i personally enjoy the most about this is this cooktop it is strong it's rolled steel this thing seasons like a champ and i'll tell you one big difference in other griddles that i've used i protect it i cover it and no matter how well you protect or cover a griddle i've learned over the years that you'll still get some of that rust if you go a week or a few days without using it i have not seen that with this at all this cooktop i mean look at how beautiful it is it looks like the first day that i seasoned it and i've done about a dozen or so cooks on this so far so just a beautiful color that stays uh cook after cook and only improves with your cook and i'm gonna improve it today with some wagyu beef for these smash burgers so like i said we're making smash burgers here don't mind me it's about 30 degrees here i'm gonna go ahead and get some onions going now let's start at the beginning here i will tell you that this took about an hour hour and 20 minutes for me to build uh that's with one person directions will tell you about an hour and a half with two people i was able to do this by myself in about an hour no problems i didn't mess up anywhere i didn't have to unbuild it and then build it again like we do so many times with things um it really turned out uh it was an easy build so that for me from the beginning is a win i have a 20 pound propane tank this is a three burner griddle and uh what i do love about it is with a three burner um you're able to kind of have zones so i can keep one low and one high so i can kind of move food off to the side if i need to i'm just going to go ahead and brown up some onions here for our smash burgers now what separates this grill too is the lid all right so if i want to steam or bake or roast you just pop this lid on and there's also a vent game changer i could smoke ribs in this grill and i will you see the heat on this thing already these onions are just about where i want them again the accessories that i got with cuisinart are perfect as well let's get on some beef real easy here and this is nice because you have the space we're gonna toss a little seasoning on top [Music] and we're going to let that work for a little bit our onions are still going we're going to set those aside for a minute [Music] now also with cuisinart i bought the smashburger package because i make them so much you get your cast iron smash burger and then you also get a piece of wax paper what happens is a lot of times if you try to use like a spatula or a plate to smash your burger it'll get stuck this is going to prevent the burger from sticking we're gonna go ahead and pop that there and we are smashing that [Music] perfect [Music] so and we're done so definitely something about this cooktop that just separates it from other griddles i've had i've had a few um the sear the crust that i've gotten is nothing like the other griddles i've used it feels heavier sturdier it's easier to clean and i've yet to feel the need to reseason it or re-oil it after every cook i simply clean it wipe it off and we're good to go for the next one so as those are cooking let's take a look at a couple features again i showed you the lid awesome steam smoke if you want to sear you just take it off if you have a steak and you want it to cook a little bit more pop this on and it becomes an oven um super sweet it's a three burner all right you have your propane tank down here a little bit of storage room and you also have your uh your hook no fuss no mess handle to go there we do have our drip tray and super super cool feature about this is our 360 degree drip tray so anything that comes off of this griddle is going to be caught you're not ruining your patio no grease stains we all hate that this thing it's just it's fun to cook on let's put it that way and let's get back to that cooktop you want to talk about a crust a sear on a smash burger i mean just take a close look at what this griddle top on this xl360 is doing to these smash burgers this is exactly what you want in a smash burger you want that crunch you want that crust on the burger that is going to add that extra layer of texture that you expect on a smash burger i'm not sure if you saw the crust on that burger flip what oh let's put some cheese on now let's talk about the cheese and making sure it melts a lot of times on griddles you see the dome that you use and you have to put it over the individual burger no no no we have a lid that goes over the entire griddle game changer huge advantage here you don't need your separate uh tins to cover um you got the whole lid you want to melt cheese you pop that right on wait a couple minutes and we'll take these off so with that lid on we have it vented you know that that cheese is gonna melt a little side note the handle you have a nice little cushion there that's pretty sweet little detail again you can see the grease dripping down the drip tray takes care of that i can't tell you how many patios i have stained with grease from other griddles i have so because of that dome because of the lid i know i'm gonna be able to melt that cheese how i need it i know that these buns are gonna get steamed and get a nice little toast on them and we're gonna be ready to build these burgers at this point we simply set the buns on top of the burgers let that cheese continue to melt really combined with the bun and those onions and we're good and these burgers are done easy to assemble looks rad your neighbors your friends any parties you have they're gonna love the look of this grill they're gonna want one i'm telling you my whole street uh half of them have already bought it and the price point is right you're not beating the price we're gonna bund these up we got nice toasted buns i'll take them inside the family's gonna eat at least my boys my wife's vegetarians i mean this this griddle is great ton of accessories for this uh if you guys are interested in this grill i'm gonna put the link in the description uh where you can go and get one again for under four hundred dollars uh the price for this 360 xl is competitive and comparable to any other griddle you're gonna get and the amount of space uh is pretty much unmatched for a three burner griddle um all right let's eat now let's talk cleanup is all i do is take my spatula most you probably do the same scrape off all the bits all the burnt parts take a paper towel wipe down that drip tray wipe down the griddle top is all you need is the grease from the burgers back up and look at how pretty yes i just cooked on it these burgers turned out incredible guys this griddle is a winner cuisinart xl360 i'm telling you you won't go wrong the price point is right and look at the food don't mind the busy house i'm a dad and that my friends is a smash burger on the cuisinart xl 360.
