hello everyone today I'm going to show you how to clean your Cuisinart 360 griddle first thing you're going to want to do is make sure the griddle is turned on and you have it at a low setting what I like to do first is I'll take my scraper and I'll scrape off any large pieces of food or grease that may be stuck on the griddle surface you also want to make sure you hit the sides of the griddle as well to make sure you get any stuck on food off the sides then I'm gonna take my squirter bottle here full of water and just put a good amount of water onto the surface and then go back in with my scraper and scrape all that water and grease off into the side grease trough very important here that you use only water to clean your griddle you don't want to use any soap or any kind of chemical because that can damage the grill surface or not repeat this process two or three times it really depends how dirty your griddle is and I sped up the video here just to save a little time and what I'm doing here is I just take some paper towel and I'm going to push all that greasy water and residue from the side trough and push it to the back grease cup located at the back of the griddle this is before the next step which we're going to be using a towel to clean the griddle surface off and you don't want to accidentally have the towel dip into that grease and then bring it back up onto the griddle and once again I'm going to use just use a cotton towel here or in my case I used a cotton rag that I had in my rag box and I like to dampen it before I use it and then you're just gonna put the water onto your griddle and take your towel and scrub off that excess residue that might be on there that's what this does this takes off any of that remaining residue that's going to be on the surface and we just want to make sure that before we season the grill that it's properly cleaned off and you can see a towel does get quite dirty and again I'll repeat this process two or three times it's gonna vary depending on how dirty your grill is and and how often you you know how much you want to clean it off but we just want to make sure that we get all that residue off and the next step here we're gonna do what they call either sealing or seasoning the grill and I'm just using vegetable oil you can also use extra virgin olive oil or canola oil whatever you have on hand I'm just gonna take my paper towel here and work that oil into the griddle surface and it's important to to make sure you get the sides as well and what this is going to do is this is going to create a seal on the griddle surface and that will keep your griddle service protected and keep it from rusting the goal here is just to get a real thin even layer so I'll take my paper towel and make sure I get all that excess oil off and just so you want to leave a thin layer behind and once you're done doing this you can turn your griddle off let it cool and you're ready for your next cook I hope this video was helpful and I want to thank you for watching
