COZY Winter Evening Routine 2019

[Music] what's up everyone welcome back to my channel my name is Antonette if you are new here and i am finally posting my winter slash fall cozy evening routine I'm so excited to be finally putting this out for you guys if you are new here please go ahead and subscribe I make tons of really aesthetic routine videos like you're gonna see today so jumping right in I first put my of course coat and keys down purse all of that and then I kind of do what everybody probably does when they get home is basically pace around my apartment on my cell phone checking Instagram that listen I waste time on my phone a lot too but you guys can follow me on Instagram if you'd like here's my little handle I make sure I leave it linked in the description box for you guys as well when I get home I obviously agreed to my beautiful dog so II I get so many questions about her I actually don't know for sure what her breed is but I was told she's some type of yellow lab Shepherd mix she was the runt of her litter so that's why she's so small but she is the most precious girl ever look at her here she's like please get off of me so yeah I just give her a little love for a second and then I will go and do a quick tidy so always do a quick tidy when I first get home it is just something I've made a habit and now I can't like live if my space feels cluttered so I always just do a super quick tidy I also take my laptop out put it on the desk keep it open answer comments I think this particular day I uploaded a video so I wanted to keep my laptop open to kind of chat with you guys and then I also plug in my diffuser I'm obsessed with this thing I've talked about it so many times but the fall and winter is my favorite time to use it because of this sense that I get I buy these ones off of Amazon of course I know I've talked to you about them a million times but they make the coolest like fall and winter sense like cinnamon and pine trees apple vanilla just dropping a few of the apple scent I've been using that one lately and I love it it's just a little bit different than your ordinary Falls scent but yeah I let this go for a little bit and I continue to clean up my place [Music] everyone always talks about flowers and foliage during the spring and summer but the fall and winter is my favorite time to get flowers around the apartment I don't know why I just think I like the more rustic tones so here I am peeling off some of the leaves on these beautiful burgundy mums I got from Trader Joe's this was like the bottom of the barrel since it was towards the end of the day but nevertheless they are gorgeous so I just mixed them in with a little bit of a eucalyptus this is my favorite mix I found this little jar at a garage sale so yeah I'm just popping them in there and then I also just kind of make a couple of different bouquets to place around the apartment [Music] [Applause] [Music] so now it is time to finally take off my makeup taking off my makeup is one of the things I do first next to cleaning and greeting Zoey I cannot stand being home with makeup on so I'm using this LMS or LMS pro-collagen Rose cleansing balm I am obsessed I have been seen these kind of makeup remover bombs all over the internet and have been dying to try one so when they sent this over I was ecstatic to try it by the way nothing in this video is sponsored I've just been loving it and you can see the way that it really just breaks down all your mascara eyeliner anything like that and I wear a lot of matte lip products so they don't really come off that easily so this balm has been just taking my makeup off and my face feels so soft after so I'm just taking the washcloth that they sit with it and wiping off my makeup [Music] I'm using my Frank body face scrub I love this stuff it's kind of like coffee grounds double cleansing is an absolute must for me especially when I wear a lot of makeup like I did on this state I absolutely must double cleanse and I'm so sad I broke my cleansing brush so I need to get a new one if you guys have any suggestions let me know I really miss it my skin just does not feel the same let's hug the cleansing brush next obviously is a quick shower I'm gonna wade through just a couple products I use I've mentioned before I love my glossy body here oh I do have a discount code I can leave down below for you guys and then of course my cleared up detox shampoo cannot live without it just makes your hair feel so clean and soft I swear to god you guys have to try it and then of course my Moroccan oil smooth conditioner and then I just wrap my hair in this little pink towel thing I can link to one on Amazon there we can find them everywhere but they're really nice I'm gonna use the Aveeno eczema therapy for my moisturizer today I wish I had my Frank Body one that I love if you guys have been watching my routines I've been using this moisturizer by Frank body but I ran out sadly so I kind of wanted to just use up what I had so I've been using this I do think it works really great for eczema I'm just not crazy about how thick it is but I guess that's the reason why it's so great for eczema it's so moisturizing but I also mix in a few drops of my Moroccan oil like actual body oil that you can kind of see it's the orange bottle up there I just mix in a few drops and moisturize on my skin as you can see and then I finish up my skincare with this LMS pro-collagen Rose facial oil this is a different kind of oil than I've ever used it doesn't have that stereotypic glue greasy oily feeling to it it almost feels like gel oil I can't explain really but it does make my skin feel so incredibly soft and if you look close you can even see the way that my hands are just like gliding across my skin it just really makes my skin feel so silky as I mentioned they have not asked me to talk about these products but they sent me the whole line and I've been trying it and loving it so much and then I also follow up with this s the derm hyaluronic acid something eye cream I love the applicator as you can see it's just little tiny it's like silver applicator and it gets really cold and it just feels really nice in your eyelids especially in the morning but at night too I feel like it just helps with a little bit of deep puffing so I love using that and then last but not least just following up with this Pro collagen rose hydro mist this is basically like a spray-on serum I like the product of ton but I'm not crazy about the spray I just feel like it doesn't like disperse evenly across your face so I just spray it into my hand and then I apply it that's how I usually do it but yeah I do really love it [Music] and then taking my hair out of this turban now that it's pretty much all the extra moistures dry I also forgot I use this I have no idea how to pronounce this actually but I'll link it it's basically just like a spray-on mist for like super dry skin I use it it fits out already I don't really like make sure I use it but I like it if it's out and then I'm just going to brush through my hair really really quick as you can see my hair is getting long it's super thick it's been a while since I've done a keratin treatment so I'm just giving it a good brush and now it is time to put some PJs on I got these most gorgeous pink silk pj set from lilly silk i'll tell you more about it in another video but it's stunning and i love it so yeah throwing this on and then it is time to light some candles and set the mood lighting [Music] I've been really loving this almond macaroon scandal from Target I always get my candles on target because they are way cheaper and they're huge and they're all soy and I really love them I just think they have a great selection for a really great price so I'm lighting a ton of candles I'm also gonna set the mood lighting I put my cozy socks on this is my favorite part of my day you got he's just getting the place feeling cozy and just kind of winding down for the day I love it so yeah I always open the blinds once the Sun is set because there is nothing like us on set in New York City by the time my husband is home that's Shane if you guys are new here he is my husband we just got married in this past April so yeah he's home but when he gets home from the gym he showers and all that takes Olli out again for me he always handles that for me so blossom [Music] so as my hair dries once it's about 75% dry I'm just gonna really quick toss my hair into some flat twist I'm tossing my hair into this will just kind of like two little pigtails and then I throw it into a hair tie you literally just put like two french braids on the side but instead of french braids it's just twist I am going to finally make some dinner me and she ain't always cook together if we can or have time it's just a nice time of the day that we can like connect and hang out without a lot of distractions so I am making one of my favorite meals that I've been making it's the easiest thing in the world it's literally just a giant like veggie baked over rice Shane ended up doing no rice on his so as you can see I'm just doing a very small portion for me we're going on a vacation soon so the effort he's eating a little car but yeah I'm just doing some squash here basically you heat it up for about two minutes just enough to let the skin that's peel off so we just cut up an entire massive squash and then put it on to a baking sheet along with a ton of other veggies you have with what asparagus potatoes we did I think some onions and red peppers and just tons of like different veggies basically [Music] so once you cut up all your veggies and lay them out on the tray you should get something like this how gorgeous is this it's the easiest thing in the world you're literally just cutting up veggies and tossing them in the oven on 450 we also layered some garlic and spices salt pepper garlic salt pretty much any seasonings that we had I think we even did a little bit of like rosemary and thyme and maybe parsley too can't remember but it was amazing so yeah popping that in the oven for I don't know maybe 20 minutes we're going to now make some dessert Shane got this recipe from his mom so he actually made this dessert for me and it was amazing god bless a man who can cook so yeah this is just a little bit of flour and oats I'm gonna leave the recipe down below for you guys so that you guys can and cook it for yourselves but yeah basically just layering in a ton of delicious things oh it's flour cinnamon brown sugar I forget what this is called I can't believe I'm having a brain fart it's just like apple crisp I guess so yeah we're making the crisp now and then of course it's time to make the apples next we're just going to peel a ton of apples and cut them into little squares [Music] [Music] okay I believe he put in a ton of like sugar and cinnamon and a little bit of lemon juice like I said I'll leave the recipe but tossing the apples into this little pie tray and then of course the kind of crust on top and into the oven for 20 minutes of course and your house is gonna smell so amazing so much fall vibes oh this was amazing so good [Music] quickly taking the flat twists out to show you kind of how the heatless waves look I totally got this from Tom Mars but curly girls have been doing this forever it's a really great way for if you have natural curls and you want to rock your natural hair highly recommend for anyone though then Shane always feeds Zoe right before we eat she likes to eat while we eat so yeah feeding her and then it is time to finally sit down and relax for the night I have been loving eating I know it's kind of weird but bleeding on the floor we got this coffee table recently and there's just something about it I don't know the height and the cozy rug it just feels so cozy and comforting look at me I'm having a moment it was so good but it's just there's something cozy and comforting and like very grounding about sitting on the floor and eating together and we just watch TV and chill like candles sometimes I play card games no two days are the same of course but yeah just showing you my amazing dinner so we're gonna eat and enjoy this and then I will show you the last bits of my routine right before bed [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] it is finally time for bed and in the winter I always use my humidifier I have really dry skin I suffered from eczema so I like to think this helps but mostly I find it so therapeutic I just like the aura it gives and I love that this one turns on and I like the red light because it's very soothing at night as you can see it's very relaxing and then the last thing I do before bed is I drink my tea and I write a quick little blurb in this living well one a day journal I bought this years ago and I lost it for like two years and I just found it what you basically do is you write a little blurb about your day every single day for five years straight if you can remember unlike me obviously I have a lot of blank pages because I forgot but I found it and I opened it up to the day that I moved to New York City and it was so cool to see kind of like just my thoughts that day that I moved and it kind of inspired me to start writing again obviously you guys I'm not gonna show what I wrote it's kind of personal but you get the point I got linked that's what I do before bed and then I will always enjoy my sleepy time tea that you guys saw me make it's just a bit of chamomile tea and honey it's so good and tastes amazing so yeah that's
