COUNTER-STRIKE 2 ... For Noobs

[Music] what happened to number [Music] two it seems every day I don't have a [Music] clue before I met a new game but now it's just a big up date so what happened to number [Music] two I don't even know what I'm being told is this game actually going to be a sequel what happened to number two what happened what happened is it just used to confus what happened what happened when the sequel comes they don't even let us choose so what happened to number [Music] two hey okay hey y just that life crisis over border line trauma that control my life more than I control my life damn near mortified I just got demoralize I don't know my purpose so I'm might CS2 which is technically the fifth Counter-Strike and not a direct sequel to the original Counter-Strike but it's actually a sequel to Counterstrike Global Offensive AKA CS:GO so this is really more csgo 2 but regardless this is the sequel to Counter-Strike developed by Valve as many people know there isn't really much of a difference between this game and in CS goo so before I discuss the big changes let me first explain the core gameplay of Counterstrike 2 for all you noobs out there who have never played a Counter-Strike game before in CS2 you're either a terrorist or a counterterrorist with the goal of either planning a bomb disarming a bomb or sometimes rescuing a hostage but everybody hates the office map so just don't play on it oh yeah all of the previous Maps made a return so if you loved any of these or hated any of these old Maps they're here to stay each round you have an allotted amount of money to buy weapons grenades items and armor or you can choose to save that money to use for the next round during the round you have one life and you have to either kill all the enemies or successfully arm or disarm the bomb right thereus I didn't buy a bomb kit oh you didn't buy a kit am I lose uh you might hold it hold it hold it nope you're [Music] dead damn it I forg buy a diffuse kit don't be a loser by a diffuser if you survive the round you can keep whatever weapon you bought or stole P off the enemy's dead body and then you can use it in the following round but if you die everything you bought is gone and you have to buy new things for the next round now I know what some of you noobs are thinking this is just like valerent just stop right there stop and remember that this game came out before valerant and inspired valerant so any similarities are because Counter-Strike did it first okay God and just like valerant you have very little health and your weapon accuracy is only good when you're standing still you can either walk or slow walk where your footsteps make no noise so being patient and playing slower will allow you to be sneakier in this game so this ain't no runand gun movement shooter like Apex it's Counterstrike so most games will be like this awesome there's a wide assortment of weapons pistols shotguns SMGs assault rifles and snipers each has their own pros and cons and utilities and in this game one of the newer features is that you can choose what weapon you you can and can't buy during the game and also choose your starting pistol there are some exclusive weapons for the different factions like the AK-47 for the terrorists and the M4 for the counter terrorists but for the most part it's a pretty balanced and wellth thought out variety of weapons but make sure to switch to the USP for the counter terrorists thank me later then there's the grenades and Equipment you got flashbangs which can blind enemies and your own team smoke grenades to block line of sight and vision from enemies Molotov which create pools of fire that damage enemies who cross them Reg frag grenades which do regular frag grenade things and decoy grenades which makes it seem like gunshots are happening and distracts you and your teammates sometimes it sounds realistic okay I get distracted so once you figure out which weapon you like to use and which grenade suits you best go in and get kills arm bombs and get that W this came new that I loved Halo so now I get so hyped when I'm MVP because I got this music pack I clutched [Laughter] itter the music bro beautiful the game is free to to play but it's got to make its money somehow so CS go sells skins for their weapons and their knives and these skins have gone up a lot in price thank you unlucky ducky for giving me a bunch of free ones I love you MW okay so that's CS2 in a quick nutsh show there's obviously so much to go over so let's first go over all of the the graphics have gotten a huge overhaul now that it's on the source 2 engine it just looks a lot better unfortunately that means players can't really play this game on a toaster anymore and trust me a lot of fans were pissed off by this since some of their computers can't handle it as well as they used to but as a newer player the graphics are really nice the maps all look fantastic as I mentioned before there's a whole new inventory system where you can choose what weapons each side has when you go to the buy phase but also the whole buying system got a rework and they even copied valerant and let you sell items in case you accidentally bought them or just like misclicked or something which is a great quality of life change there's now response Ive smokes which means that smokes from smok gr nades move and shift from other nades and from bullets allowing for another level of play competitively Pros will make the most insane plays and setups with this mechanic for sure there's now a Premiere system where players who pay $15 will get access to cheaper and free weekly cosmetics and they'll also be matched with other players who pay $15 and this is all done as a way to mitigate cheaters since there really was a cheating problem in csgo and I genuinely do think this is a smart approach as it will simultaneously disincentivize cheating and make valve a ton of money off cheaters who keep making you accounts it also should curb a bit of the toxicity but this is csgo it might be the most toxic community of all time yellow you're Mexican aren't you what the hell Marco is Mexican you're Mexican you're Mexican you're Mexican you Marco another thing they copied from valerant is the visual indicator for your footsteps on the mini map which is so helpful and a great update to the quality of life in this game they really took all the good stuff from valant without all the annoying stuff like drones and robots and turrets and people yelling at me to hop off Omen Hop Off Omen like now but I love Omen please the entire UI in the lobby and ingame just feels better with more Pizzazz and flare however there are some features that are missing from this game that were in the original csgo like Workshop Maps but I feel like we should expect these features to all make a return soon we just need to be patient however I do understand why a lot of people were frustrated with this game it really isn't a sequel with barely any real new features and not even new maps or weapons and while the changes are nice completely replacing this game with an overhauled game whether you prefer it or not is wild which means that players can no longer go back to the original csgo as it essentially no longer exists it's kind of like OverWatch 2 but with significantly less empty promises on the bright side at least all of your skins that you bought previously they're still here and they look even better which means you can buy more cases and get more skins and look how nice these skins look in the source 2 engine buy more skins buy more knives buy byy bye as someone who never really played that much csgo partially because it always seemed like a goofy old game I was pleasantly surprised with CS2 it felt like the game was trying to get new players into it and is even trying to Target players who may have only played valerant before it's a solid approach that may pay off as a lot of veterans do seem to like it and a ton of new people are giving it a try but how do I feel about it overall although it is more of a glorified update I'll be giving CS2 an 8.5 out of 10 so now I know what you're thinking macro this game or valerant honestly I personally think I prefer valerant more but that's probably because I'm a little bit more biased when it comes to class-based Shooters like OverWatch and Apex but I think that most people who like tactical shooters or the original fans of Cs goo will really really like this game but what do you think have you
