lot of you guys have been asking me to do what i'm going to do in today's video which is talk about corp's husband's music i've actually known corpse for quite some time met him through dave great guy amazing at video games he's totally annihilated me in most games in overwatch rocket league and most recently in among us he's a crazy good gamer and overall nice guy i like him a lot and i'm so glad he's blown up a lot recently really cool i've heard a lot of his music before he blew up but i'm going to revisit it i'm going to talk about it let's do it first off we have e-girls are ruining my life arguably corpse's biggest song to date 16 million views on youtube 45 million plays on spotify crazy really heavy [Music] i appreciate the little sound effect when he says freak me and there's just a little moan there just so i know what's going on [Music] it's really [Music] note the nice note reference what's gaspare ah gaspar madagino is the real name of savage gas which is the collaborator on this song it definitely has that aspirational vibe of you feel really cool when you listen to it i think that's such a quality he has with his low voice is really cool it makes me want to have a low voice too low do you want to take me when you mean it's like very gravelly a lot of what you would call vocal fry and you need to lower your larynx a little bit i didn't do it too well there i think i could lower it a little bit more choke me like you hate me but you love me it's hard to get right [Music] i and even know her this is like e dating in a nutshell i kind of feel nowadays like if i would date a girl i would have to kind of scan her online presence before i do anything i'm not sure if you guys will be the same way but like sometimes you can find out some pretty crazy stuff about people ain't no daddy issues that i won't even bother she said i kill a cat like i'm luca magnata she say i kill her cat like him luca magnata here corpse spices up a boast about his frick prowess that uses common euphemism for female genitalia with a smile that references an infamous animal abuser and murderer oh edgy i haven't listened to the lyrics that much he's going pretty hard with these references okay and then straight up next one is like saitama like one punch man reference murderer one punch man of course of course they used to hate me now they want me i feel like so many references in a row who's gara character for the enemy naruto he was originally an antagonist and ruthless killer i need to watch naruto at some [Music] points [Music] damn son that's pretty hardcore i love how low his voice is here it's really like oh i could never do an editors help me editors help me my voice is getting messed up just i'm trying to do it i've never talked to him about this but a lot of youtube videos are saying that he has like curd or something is gastroesophageal reflux disease occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the tube connecting your mouth and stomach common signs and symptoms of gerd include a burning sensation in your chest chest pain oh and part of it is disrupted sleep i know he sleeps really poorly so that could be part of it i guess man that sucks i read somewhere that it would also lead to bad breath but that's not anything i've noticed hanging out with corpse it's like he smells fine just putting that out there you're welcome like corpse i'm gonna have my pure birdie soon wait i'm just joking around his voice is a really nice variation on that song like it's really kept interest up even though the beat is kind of static in some ways he sounds a little bit more classic metal than corpse you can pretty much imagine him going into like a proper metal screen from this cool though they're both going for that vocal fry register like ugh another death note reference i guess there has been a lot of anime references in soundcloud rap for quite a while i think you would consider this soundcloud rap right i mean corpse is definitely not a soundcloud rapper since he's kind of built himself out of among us on youtube now i think this girl is really trying to plan my demise it's the pumpkin patch damn he got coke in his nose are you getting are you drinking the coca-cola oh yeah if you do this yeah then you can get coke in your nose pumpkin patch king with the corpse with a ring references to tim burton movies man this is a lot of like referencing and like name dropping of kids culture really it seems pretty common though that a lot of goth people and kind of alternative people draw us from the nightmare before christmas for aesthetics this sounds pitched down now even for corpse but damn that's dope of course this isn't very close to the music i usually listen to but i can really appreciate it for what it is which is just like this vibe it really doesn't really sound like a lot of other stuff that i've heard at least at least not that have blown up like he's definitely in his own little pocket of stuff now the way he does this music he could say anything really cool or like anything about his life and i would believe him he could be like you know oh flying five helicopters at the same time about yeah i believe that corpse is the guy who can literally steal your boyfriend and your girlfriend it's funny how just this super simpy fandom has come out i mean it's gotta be pretty stressful to be faceless and be this simped over if you want him to ever show his face this is not the way you do it corpse music scary corpse voice scary corpse personality dino nuggies pretty much hey yo bro you want auto-tune corpse no i mean it's not really the type of vocal that you would use other two nonzero i kind of hate that people always talk about no auditor and something positive like this person doesn't need autism autotune needs this person grow up that's not like a compliment is nothing his voice sounds like he would kill me in an alley and cuddle me as i fall asleep at the same time and i clear eyes red mind praised i can't wish that you were here i i mean my spanish accent is also like sounds really cool when he says it though something i find refreshing is that he's not really going for the mumble wrap style which so many people do nowadays he's really pronouncing everything very very clearly it's definitely got its own flavor compared to a lot of other stuff right now i can't even leave my place without hiding my face just a glamorized dash job running away i ain't even got friends feel like everyone's fake really brain for the day the reaper take me away that's gotta be really stressful for him now i remember him tweeting before he blew up about stuff like oh i feel a lot of pressure now because everyone keeps talking about how hot they think i am and i mean that's gone 10 times worse now probably he's one of the most popular people on the internet right now i'm glad i showed my face at least no one thinks i'm hotter than i am i guess out of this one and e-girls are ruining my life i really think this is the stronger song this song hits harder for me lyrically it comes across as a little bit less tongue-in-cheek and more genuine which i enjoy but yeah real dope song as well this chorus slaps what anime is this though i need to watch this anime it looks amazing these are such vibe it's great for corpses while these songs are so short i was watching this one analytical video about the music industry the other day and they were talking about how spotify is different from youtube streams pay the same i think for songs up to like five minutes and once you're over five minutes it starts paying more but basically if people have the time to loop your songs more often like if your song is like one minute and a half when someone loops it or has it on like a playlist with other short songs you're able to earn a lot more money the songs are getting shorter and shorter it's a sign of the times next up we got cat girls are hurting my life what will thing is supposed to be a pun what is it a pun about though yeah the only thing it says here is that the lion refers to the controversial bias of twitch staff towards female streamers where allegedly twitch staff will give lesser punishments to female streamers than males for the same stuff okay one interesting thing about this is he's really taking this culture that's still i think consider a little bit nerdy like streamers and all of us people on the internet basically and i think he's making it sound cool with his voice and the way he talks about it nerd music didn't used to be this cool girl [Music] more than your dad but i knew he wouldn't get that messed up got me looking like masked up got me looking like no face oh yeah that's a reference to another anime it's not an anime necessarily it's spirited away which is japanese animation i'm not sure if that's considered anime these lyrics are great fine last nice cat ears the ubu line nice i'm not a weeb after all the references he's done nice this beat is great as well i think this is produced by oxygen beats he's done stuff for a bunch of youtubers i think he produced life is fun as well for odd ones out in dave great producer anyway okay next up we got white tea by corpse [Music] i like how distorted the vocals are on this one is the acid on my vocals reference to the gird thing yeah it is [Music] okay that's the most mumble rappy he's ever sounded with a yes but yeah it's dope i like how widely mixed everything is and the beat is so [Music] heavy [Music] oh that really hits hard there i liked how dynamic the beat was there for a second it really was like a highlight a lot of these beats kind of go on and on and most of the dynamics come from the vocals but that really had a nice snap to right there ah this is oxygen beats as well this is really dope i love this beast more cats girls just faceless youtuber stuff those are great lines i love that i mean this is really interesting because i think most rappers kind of exaggerate things and make stuff up to what extent are these things real it sounds in some lyrics like he's like freaking other guys girlfriends stuff like that he doesn't strike me as a person who could do that so yeah i don't know if he's talked about it at some point it would be interesting to hear for sure but like all the people who make kind of like alternative music and really hard music are always the nicest this is pretty consistent it's like they get their outlet for all of the hardcore stuff in their music so then they're just like soft boys all the time like i used to hang out with metal bands a lot when i was younger like all of them be like you want a cinnamon bun and corpse is no exception to that he's so nice i love the production on this his voice sounded probably the lowest in any song on some of these lines okay guys okay for more music commentary videos get careful music vs videos it was nice to have another listen to corpses music it's definitely a vibe he's definitely found his own niche and he's an amazing guy go support him if you haven't already even though half the internet is already we play among us together sometimes
