Coronavirus Psalm 91 Confession | Keith Moore

[Music] the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want Oh hallelujah praise you I praise you lord praise you Lord hallelujah few weeks ago we did what I'm about to do but I know there was a number of you that might not have been with us and it won't hurt you to do it again there's a lot of concerns about the coronavirus and and other things but we took an immunization a few weeks ago you remember that and inoculation and so it won't hurt us to take another one and for the folks that weren't here you can take one with us right now so miss what what I don't want to take a shot you want this one you want this one right here Psalm 91 put it on the screen for us y'all can just stop playing and let's focus on this put it on the screen some ninety-one one and we're going to read through the whole psalm it won't take long just a minute here but we're gonna put it in the first person and we're going to take it for ourself are you ready okay let's pull the syringe here all right we got it are you ready we're we're gonna put it right here are you ready set out loud ID well well that we'll just read it together I dwell in the secret place of the Most High I abide under the shadow of the Almighty now you're not just reading this you're taking this is that right you're confessing it over yourself you're receiving it into yourself and around yourself verse two I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my fortress my god in him will I trust hallelujah just like you receive Jesus as Lord of your life you receive him as your provider you receive him as your protector settle acid out loud again he's my God my refuge my fortress my god in him will I trust surely he will deliver me from the snare of the Fowler and from the noisome pestilence he will cover me with his feathers and under his wings shall I trust his truth shall be my shield and buckler I will not be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that flies by day nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday now stop right here back back up to the fifth verse what did we say what we say you see there's there's a god word side to keeping you but there's a man word side we got our part we must receive what he said we must believe what he said and we must not yield to fear said out loud I will not be afraid see he mentions four different categories of things I won't be afraid of the terror by night I won't be afraid of the arrow that flies by day next verse I won't be afraid of the pestilence that walks in darkness I won't be afraid of the destruction that wastes at noonday said out loud I refuse to fear see fear makes one subject to that that you're afraid of it makes you vulnerable but faith makes you immune hallelujah keep keep going a thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it shall not come near me come on say it again it shall not come near me say it again it shall not come near me aren't you concerned about it aren't you afraid aren't you concerned it shall not come near me you know what you just did keep reading only with my eyes shall I behold and see the reward of the wicked because I have made the Lord my refuge the Most High my habitation there shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come near my dwelling are we reading the Bible are you a believer do you receive this neither shall any plague come near my dwelling that's your house that's your apartment that's where you live said again neither shall any plague come near my dwelling it is written Psalm 91 10 for he will give his angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways they will bear me up in their hands lest I - my foot against a stone I will tread upon the lion and adder the young lion and the dragon shall I trample under feet you know the scripture said the devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour I don't you like that word Mae Mae Mae there's some he may and I'm looking at some may not that he may not and so instead of him devouring you you're gonna trample over him he Bree because I have set my love upon you therefore you will deliver me you will set me on high because I have known your name I will call on you and you will answer me you will be with me in trouble you will deliver me and honor me hallelujah we're honoring him right now by acknowledging he's all-powerful and he has the power to keep us and we trust him and we rely on him and those that honor him he will honor verse 16 with long life you will satisfy me and show me your salvation [Applause] Heys be to God praise be to God do you see how you get to verse 16 how do you get to long life you'll satisfy me what the era didn't get you the pestilence didn't get you the plague didn't get you come on can you see that the Lord kept you and protected you violence disease famine lack none of that took you out and you kept living and were sustained and kept until you were old and satisfied hallelujah you don't have to go and leave here until you and the Lord get good and ready for you to go you don't have to go from some crazy accident or crime or one of the devil speaking diseases will go with us in the Lord get good and ready for us to go go ahead lift your hands thank the Lord for his keeping power in your life Lord we worship you we praise you we thank you we release faith we receive this into our lives and over our households and our families and we confess that you are our God you are our refuge and our fortress and you do keep us thank you lord hallelujah praise God well it would have been worth you coming this morning just to get that right there well smile at somebody and shake a hand or two and you can be seated
