always just makes for a pretty exciting shift we're pulling up to a disturbance in one of the gas stations here looks like some kind of disturbance between the guy in this white Escalade here just guys jut me and cut me go okay maybe you stop I know I did tell you my buddy tell my story my knee that a man for me wore a black kind of white guy jump me come and go I try to pull out and I think he without her in that car but he rose in that car pulled up it stopped me okay see don't you move these cars back up I stopped sir for the record did I stop you stopped after I stopped you yes sir yes guys did beat me a man shot me I got scared look at me did you hit me in that right side of the head sin-hye damn it okay I started try to get yes and this white guy started talking to me and I was a fighter and I turn right I don't take from nobody and this is one of my faults and I'm guilty as charged I started talking to him next thing I know this big ol big dude so I don't back down for nobody I still duck they jumped me what were they saying get me what are they saying they were say we're gonna kill ya you think you are they jump me look at my head you know I know you didn't do this to me I pulled over I pulled over I got beat up I was pissed cuz I got beat up I'm a fighter I don't get beat up how long did the fight last thirty Seconds married the clerk see it yeah everybody saw what the clerk me and what the clerk say he was called the police and I saw you two I have a driver I robbed and you pull right from my truck and I panicked doo doo beat them why did you run when you saw me cuz I got two felony assaults back at the late night I'm 36 by the late night are you on plate I know I've got a probation parole but I thought you would think if ice got out zipper these guys jumped me and she's gonna call B you'd go oh this guy jumped these guys is that bigger well that's not the way I'm looking at it okay I mean okay man I know you told me that you don't care they beat my I do care so you don't cuz I ran from you know he stopped in traffic he got out and laid down and just went straight into telling us how he was the victim of the Cesana there so I don't know well I'll see about three 15s get and we'll go up there and check it out okay he's still up here with the victim / witness so all right let me know okay sounds good the other officers went up there to the gas station they spoke to the other two suspects one of them has a dislocated shoulder and went to the hospital the other one was interviewed and released here at the scene no just gonna pull out and see if the clerk here witnessed anything basically trying to figure out if our guy was telling us the truth or not how are you can you tell me what happened behind the Buick and was beating up the younger adult yelling screaming hollering he looked like it didn't remember what he was saying screaming just everything under the Sun cussing was he threatened then the guy I was just about everything my fear unless he had a weapon what were the other two guys saying back to him nothing really if that dude leave us alone leave us alone move your SUV so we can get out leave okay based off what the other officers are saying the witnesses were telling them and the clerk that we just talked to it sounds dust like our guy was the suspect and an assault on this thing and that the DWI portion of it's gonna just be secondary so it looks like we're gonna go second-degree assault put a hold on him plus C is evidence you should have just stayed at home tonight precinct one it's 110 square miles we got everything the rough city streets the rural trailer parks neighborhoods in here that are million-dollar houses it's like going to a different side of the world when you go into another beat it makes you versatile in your job and it's it's fun to work I just saw this girl run across I was 17 and she's in congestive track that looks like she's dodging vehicles so we're stopping her jaywalking this girl [Music] across the highway where are you staying I only get stopped when I'm on 17 you keep your hands on your pockets home you have anything to leave on you don't touch your pockets I just asked you something on highway 17 across from the guest house a white female with a pink shirt are you banned from anywhere never been back never been in trouble with the cops over again maybe you know was here in Savannah but that was just because its benefactor who I had in the vehicle with me contra 10 arrested him first donut please office bar her saying a police officer fleeing and eluding who are you working I don't how are you living being working long days better than I am put you out you are again because I there's like a certain person college you have to school in it why are you dating such a bad dude there must be a reason why you always get stopped on highway 17 right putting yourself out here I mean you get yourself in trouble prevent you from joining the Coast Guard it's hard to get in the Coast Guard yeah I got a motor so bad so bad what is that hmm what is that yeah just fell from you what is it okay come on step over here what is that okay where's that step over here don't walk away from you now you're starting to be misleading okay you can sit right there on that car okay you know it's illegal to carry well how do I know you have a prescription then I just asked you if you have anything illegal on you and now you lied to me and tell me that you don't have anything illegal and then you lied to me again and say that didn't come from me when did you go to hospital who's your doctor what's your doctor's name you don't have a dollar that's what for what they gave you hydrocodone for a toothache all right turn around put your hands on that bar hold onto that for a second your hands on your back what else you have on you that's illegal you sure you're trying to go to the Coast Guard you come on now this is uh this is not a good start look at it where I'm coming from okay I'm the police officer I stop you first thing you say is I got popped for DUI for drugs right can you tell me your boyfriend's burglary impersonating police officer and you lean over to knock your pants off your feet in a boom do normal people carry hydrocodone controlled substances in cigarette containers in their clothes like that I'm hidden I don't I go to the doctor I get a prescription I go home take it in the bottle and I take it when I need it I don't carry it in cigarette box wrappers see where I'm coming from so what does this look like to you [Music] several times right do you apologize you got it univer the cage come inside all right Samantha can you you want to sit down right there on the curb this hydrocodone is an epidemic over here anybody can can tell the police that they have a prescription if it's not carried in the prescription container then it's no good she's gonna be under arrest for possession controlled deputies fresh out of the Academy the transition into law enforcement could be a little bit tough and intimidating and for myself having that background coming from the Marine Corps has set myself a good foundation for a career in law enforcement okay we've been dispatched to a call of a reckless driver apparently complaint following a white vehicle and crashed into the side of the bridge and kept going the complaint followed into one of the local motels down here we're gonna see if we can find a vehicle and see what's going on with the driver we're going come on are we going bro come on out here boy come over here me let me talk with you you mean no come over here grab him for a second over there stand over there what is it that you not understanding boss stand over here okay put your hands right here and don't move alright you want to be treated like this no it's not listening you understand me our son all right keep your hands on the card they move what app are you going to he take off running for you know what lion because we've been sitting here watching this parking lot since you pulled in we got a phone call about the car and we've been watching it since you got out of that car you guys okay so you need to start telling the truth cuz we're live where's he's right there that's Dirty South I know he's the only one that you listen to me that's it let's go put on put your feet in the car yeah just a vehicle that matches the description of the one that we got in a call being reckless on the road driving all over the place and this damage here looks some it looks fairly new so this is probably what he damaged when he when he hit the bridge you see a point of view he's got a it looks like gin some beer cans the the half-full this one's completely full well it knows what else he has but this your car tell me tell me from the beginning what happened with Mike I had my yard with Arden because basically I listened already once ecosystem because the help was better done and basically um I wouldn't fight for a minute I can tell what's going so you went inside for what you were hanging out outside with him yeah okay you left the vehicle running to charge the battery you went inside to grab something background go to the bathroom real fast you when you came back out the vehicles gone yeah okay at no point of time you gave him permission to use the vehicle I could I don't allow people are drinking driver in any vehicle you know are you willing to press charges I don't press charges this it's a mistake but you don't you drink you make mistakes no I don't know okay well that's I mean you make mistakes by you know maybe taking somebody cigarette that you didn't have permission to take or something like that taking somebody's vehicle for a joyride one year you know I've had a quite a bit to drink and he's not only putting you at risk because you know it's your vehicle anybody didn't think you just want to think yeah I mean it could come back to you he took off running we would have known all we would have done Ryan of in but it came back to you we have it knocking on your door watch it he is being charged with obstruction for disobeying I told him to put his hands on his head obviously we got something going on here something's wrong this crimes being committed apparently it is a stolen vehicle there's some drugs in the vehicle there's open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and it's quite frustrating when you don't get the cooperation from victims I mean he don't want to press charges apparently just a family member and I could see where he's coming from but you know on our end it's a little bit frustrating when you when you complete an investigation and all you have is a minor charge but you get a multi Street for a night so that's a good thing
