chances are that you're gonna find the crime being committed by the time you show up anywhere in this area you can get to pretty quick and then also the citizens of Spokane Valley are great they're pro law enforcement and they got our back and we got there so it's a great relationship right now we got dispatched to a local business here where an intoxicated male was sleeping on the ground in a handicap zone at the same time we got a call of a male in the parking lot trying to get into vehicle so we don't know if this guy's vehicle prowlin or or what he's doing so we're gonna go see what's going on with him did you call okay thank you what about right there right there watch it nice he's not about getting out there's a manager's right there how you doing guys couldn't stand up turn around from the turn away from me alright put your hands let's have your headphones spread your feet three feet apart interlace your fingers you ain't got no weapons on you right now you got no weapon handicap zone we contacted him he's sitting here his left hand is on his left B behind his left leg I couldn't see it and I called him up he stood up I told him to turn around spread his feet put his hands on the back his head said do you have any weapons and he didn't answer me he kind of did that thousand-yard stare thing so I called Juan over so we could go two on one and as soon as we started handcuffing with this with this right arm which is the one I had he started resisting and trying to pull away and stuff so but he said if he had a weapon in it yeah yeah yeah yeah so he thought he had a weapon after we had him handcuffed I said you have a weapon he said yeah and I said where he said right there he looked down at his left pocket which was the side that was kind of hidden from me when we came up here on his left side so did he have anything no he didn't have any that his plan he's under the influence I don't smell any alcohol his drugs oh I got a call at the front of the store saying there was an intoxicated gentleman up here and so I went to the front and he was sitting on the bench notice he didn't have shoes on or anything at that point my assistant came up and said he had dropped his keys in the parking lot so I went into her asset protection office and notice I had a gentleman that was still working that night when it approached him the gentleman got up and started leaving the building oh he told he was really wobbly on his feet so we just kind of followed him outside to see what he was gonna do he attempted to get into a green Volkswagen bag which obviously did not belong people were about right over in the handicapped okay right over here nearest and then you try to give it to this green vehicle and at that point he was a wobbly we asked him to sit down before he fell over and somebody get over the car amen what happened before we got here who friends him always me they cut all ties to you do you remember sleeping in a handicap stall over here did you see us drive up yeah did you know we're the police hmm yeah how did you know we're in the police this looks like a cop car dang did you see us in uniform will you stood up turn around put your hands on top of your head when I told you to you yeah I mean you followed my commands there I just don't understand why you decided to try and resist us we were just trying to make sure you didn't have any weapons on you I don't know I don't know a healthy I don't know a healthy I knew what was happening with me why did I do I wouldn't be doing what I do what what what do you what do you us orderly and obstructing or the police department we have a volunteer organization called the Explorers it's for kids aged 16 to 21 they can volunteer with us and go out on ride-alongs I'm the lead advisor for it right now I was an explorer when I was young it was how I decided that I wanted to be a police officer and it was the best experience I ever had for partying Hall stress-free 20 40 ml we just got a call of some lewd conduct up in north central Spokane we're gonna head there now apparently there's a male and a female outside on a lawn and they are having sex sorry I'll see if we can locate him and see going on with them tonight we're supposed to be right up here around the corner all right No are we gettin is that the cops it might be the cops why don't you go ahead and pull your pants up where are your pants yeah well I don't put your pants on there partner do you have any idea where you're at I'm not my friends house what's why okay what's your butt sitting on right now grass uh-huh which means what probably you're outside maybe okay pull your pants all the way up and then have a seat there partner where's your shirt excuse me but I don't understand why you where's your shirt I don't know okay why don't you put that shirt on for right now what I'm a little bit confused you and me both put put that shirt on well it's not exactly my shirt I don't really care at a here and I have seriously if if I offended anybody mm-hmm then I will absolutely leave I didn't know I just thought we were hanging out like I have no intention to hurt anybody or to offend anyone I don't think that's really up for debate cuz we kind of saw you naked so what in the world is going on tonight well I met somebody on the road with a couple of friends we came down here I met up with her and we're making out here we are I marry you you've never met Craig before tonight no we were just talking and cuddling but here here's a problem why people called though you're cut alone without your clothes on you were cuddling with such your clothes on that's why people called and we're concerned about the fee was just saying that clothes got wet that's why they took their clothes off hmm fair enough yeah that stuff happens can you explain to her that he said he only lives a couple blocks down no I guess there just got the best of them and they didn't quite make it that far all right we started three houses down and you worked your way all the way here yeah so did she like take off a piece of clothing every house or what no they took a finger gone down there okay and then we walked on the block and end up here so wonder the clothes come off at my aunt's house so you guys were naked walking down the street all the way here yeah so when did the cuddling part start right marry no leader keep walking guys I like being a police officer in Des Moines because it seems like anytime you turn on the news you're always hearing about the bad things in the world and at least with this job you feel like you get to make somewhat of a difference might be a little difference but when you go home at night you feel pretty satisfied with the work you've done and you feel like you made the world a little bit better of a place well we're getting called to some sort of disputed disturbance apparently officers were out here a little bit ago dealing with a white male we're not sure if he's suicidal or not but he was spotted out in the parking lot with a pocketknife waving it around showing it off to people and I think he's threatened the apartment manager sounds like he's got a lot of issues so we're gonna go see what his problem is and see if we can't help him out what building does he live in number 75 apparently the last time he was out here is waving a [ __ ] eyebrow at who the manager at grace yes okay he supposedly has some mental issues and it's possibly off his meds so okay okay let's go upstairs knock on his door Bryan Police Department we're here to help you we heard help your body what what's going on how are you today yeah well sounds like you're having some issues an upset because the manager says this is your victory to victory why why is she gonna evict you okay they told her she had nicer so she says that sects of harassment you you told her what I don't know I like your hair so that's I guess she considers that sexual harassment oh okay there there were some guy next to me a tall guy you know making friends a short guy said I owe some guy 50 yards away might get hurt look at my knife there you know he was just messing with me gotcha you know how it is that would be awesome and where did you say we had a witness that was the saw Bryan threatening people with it or no think so that he was waving it around do you have the knife No a little bit ago and we got called back out here apparently he was out in the park waving a knife we don't know if he's threatening anybody but we went out made contact with him in his apartment as what we walked up to the apartment he was just tearing the heck out his apartment throwing things destroying things we've knocked on the door he opened the door we asked him about the knife we were trying to grab his hand next thing you know it was on and you were I think he kind of took a slap at you didn't he he's got some issues but you just can't treat the cops like that we were here to help them and then he turned he turned on us no we're not charging you with that iconic cops grace they're all yelling at them the tops so iconic opposite Hong comes pocketknife importantly they said four inches so I took it out looks at eyes by the way so that's why I took it out to look at yeah you told us there was a pocket knife in your pocket we're just gonna get it out of your pocket actually and then that's when you lost it right you guys all right paddy wagons coming to get you they're gonna take you to jail where I was fine assault on a police officer Hayes officer man hold on a second you asked me a question I'm trying to answer [Music] and you're being charged with interference with official okay all right okay the wagons coming to get you and then they'll take to jail 27:10 a person
