Conan Exiles - Beginner's Guide 2022 - Part 26: The Executioner and The Red Mother Dragon

hi folks and welcome back to conan exiles this will be episode 26 of the beginner's guide series and before we start anything here i first of all want to thank everyone so far because this week we hit to everyone for the for the 2000 subscribers that's absolutely fantastic so in this episode my plan is to level up beastmaster tmoss that we got decked out in his full rp armor last episode after he got his jebel sag headset he's already got the kabusian shaymin chess piece and wrap and the reptilian gauntlets and boots so the headset was the last piece of the the rp armor set but we're going to take him and get some more levels up on him and get his get his hp up a bit further before we start taking him into other dungeons and what we're going to do is we're going to take him to meet the executioner and the executioner is a undead skeletal serpent guy down in death whisper ruins or death whisper cavern or something along that lines which is down i think it's i think this is it here around about here but uh i'm going to get get the horse we'll go through the map room to the sinkhole which is the closest place and then we'll head down and we'll head over here and and find them and i'll i'll meet you there okay see you in a bit okay i believe this is the death wisp death whisperer ruins here so we came out from the sinkhole so we're here at the moment uh we come out from the sinkhole we ran through here and came down through that gap just up there and we came down past the spiders across past mitra's serenity and we've come up over this side here and now we're going to it is this with spur ruins so there's usually a bunch of spiders around here where's the entrance i thought this was the entrance oh there's a book a little kisser mode hmm okay this is obviously not the right place is it down below us then over here ah there it is there it is that's it there i knew there was spiders here somewhere all right dmos get that guy so there's a camp there that they're constantly fighting these spiders come as well leveled up don't think you got any more i can't remember i can't remember what his hp was but i'm going to swap that blade for a brittle bar steward with a just to give them a bit more damage a bit more armor pen and we're going to go into here what is this camp let's just get it on the map black hand cup ooh who's up named archer watchers away station okay oh you want to you want to have a go as well okay right so we're going ahead and there is two entrances to this location and so one is here and the other one's over here somewhere it's like that but the the executioner is kind of in the middle oh my god all these spiders once again i'll apologize to all the arachnophobes because i know there's a lot of people who don't like big spiders but unfortunately there is a lot of them in this cave hey all right so i think i'll take you in should i take you in part of the way in fact i think i'll park the horse around the corner in case they all start respawning while we're in there hey all right it should be i'm not sure how far we'll have to go before we can put him on guard let's see stand guard there okay that's fine should be safe enough there and it's just the way you get dark so i think what i'll do is i'll just wait here for it to become daylight and then i'll see you once it brightens up and we'll head into the dark cave okay see in a bit okay it's pretty much morning now it should be brightening up quite nicely so let's start heading into the cave more spiders lots of uh brimstone in here as well if that's of use to you my god so many spiders come on beastmaster that's it i don't know get them as well [Music] too slow let's just check that you are on guard how quick the tmos levels up we're not getting a lot of xp from these spiders but he's went up two levels already yep so that's 5100 now so now we're getting into the undead section so this is where it gets a little bit tougher because look how much skeletons there are so i'm not sure how well my shield is going to withstand all this blocking but i did bring a repair kit with me fix it he's got another level up more xp from these guys that is that the executioner there already sure can't remember exactly which room he's in these guys have anything on not a lot that's for sure this this might actually be the executioner so it should be a three skull boss it is so this is him 14 867 i think he's basically the same as the brute but he has some interesting drops in his loot table getting getting sundered oh that's the other entrance that way there's nothing more in here there's more spiders yes skeletons in here that was a bad move i shouldn't have agreed them until we got the big boss guy down are you getting on almost done that's leveled up i mean the boss is dead yes it is and we got nothing off them other than the fragment of power wow awesome there's iron in here okay we're gonna i'll go out the other entrance to see how close that is that's another chest i remember those chests in here here's one gold and silver coins is that it yep looks like that's it can't open that there's nothing in here okay so let's go out the other way which should take you to the other entrance and i'll just like show you the way in there in reverse just in case you want to come in that way it's teemo stuck through the wall again to come out there he goes come on there you go lots more spiders look at that lot over there let's just send teemos down into there to get the aggro off everything [Music] nope come on get up yeah this is not a place for anyone with any sort of arachnophobia it's like okay they're really easy to kill but we've got 117 health or something okay more another one got stuck what all right we need to check these perks yeah i really wasn't joking when i was a fast leveler so he's only got 6000 hp but he got assassin which is plus three strength plus three accuracy so it's not not too bad at least we've got the strength perk accuracy is no use but at least it wasn't a negative one look at that that looks like a place you could go in but you can't and there's some more and there's the way out because i was executioner's entrance so i don't know are they are they any shorter to get in one way or the other seems to just be fighting a bunch of spiders to start with let's go daylight let's just show you exactly where we are once we get rid of these spiders i think that is the the same camp oh maybe that's is that the camp yeah i think i think that's the cam more but we are we're here i think that's watchers way station there looks like there's another camp up there which i think is named after a named guy let's let's go and have a look since we're here because i'm going to wait for that to respawn i want to go and take that executioner again see if we can get one of these special items yes i think that guy's standing over there is sully so sully's ambush oh there's a cook let's just take them out no that's not the camp with the hyena armor in it [Music] yeah so we're up above here so if we run down this way this should be the watchers whatever it was called watchers way station whoops okay and then we run round here and this is the other entrance here oh spiders have respawned okay let's head our way in once again maybe maybe not maybe a bit early yep just one okay i'll take a break here and i will bring you back once it's respawned then we'll go in again and well these guys are respawning so it can't it won't be long but i'll be back okay we're back in and we're in the middle of a big skeleton battle oh stuck we're stuck we're stuck yeah didn't go as planned i was planning on getting tmoss to pull these skeletons out i don't know all right right on to the boss boss if you could get some sundered up that would be helpful [Music] it's about it's almost down there it goes wow two fragments of power still no items okay i'll wait for him to respawn and we'll try him a third time see you in a bit okay we're back in for a third time so let's see what we can pool skeleton wise i think we've pulled a lot i'm stuck on the rock come on yes oh the big i was waiting we looked like we haven't pulled the big boss but then just that then he comes running around the corner all right let's get these guys down okay stuck in the wall oh there's more skeletons coming me [Music] okay hopefully a third time lucky we'll get something dropping off of them this time [Music] so we're getting good xp of it i think that's t moss is like level 15 already so we'll see what his next perk is come on come on there you go [Music] i hope he gets heavy hits missed me and he's dead this time hey here we are jackpot so not only did we get one we got two of the possible items so one is the executioner's hood which is a heavy armor item with a bonus strength so when if i just take my helmet off and look at my stats we've got plus five agility plus four plus four so we've got no bonus and strength if i then put the hood on apart from looking really cool and my attributes are yeah plus three bonus and strength and it's heavy armor as well so perfect for for thralls and the other item is the executioner's blade so this is a let's see if we can stick it yeah so it's the same model if i can get over there i think it's the same model as a dragon bone sword looks very cool but a let's see what says 51 weapon damage nine armor pen is a legendary weapon and it has the execution perk and what that is is when a mob drops to ten percent it'll get instantly executed i think it's ten percent but yeah it's once it gets to a certain amount of damage it'll just get instantly executed so what we've got so that we've got two of the three items so the executioner's hood there is the executioner's blade and the other one is an executioner's axe which basically has the the same oh my shield is almost gone so let's fix that um yeah it has the same execution perk on it that instantly kills the mob when it gets to a certain level so we want to go and try that out so let's head out of here and let's go kill a dragon we need something with enough hp that we can actually see it see it happening and we we spoke about the dragons in the unnamed city when we were in there farming the bosses but we we never killed any and we said we'll come back to that later so let's go and do the red mother which is one of the there's like three dragons in the unnamed city one one kind of on the edge of the north edge of the city up around about here um and then there is in the spawning pools here you've got uh a red dragon called the red mother which also has a chance to drop some nice items and then i think it's like down here there's a there's a green dragon as well so i think it's time to go and take on a dragon and i was hoping i would get one of these blades to show you this which is why i brought some a bow into poison arrows because i'm going to stand at the back shooting arrows and let mr t moss do all the heavy lifting as usual and i'll give him the sword and hopefully we'll see the execution in action okay i'll ride over to the unnamed city and i will see you when i get there okay season okay we're here and that little beauty in front of us is the red mother so look where we are on the map we're on these stairs here looking down into the spawning pools above us is where the random a human boss is up there there are some baby dragons around about there as well down there all right so i've given team ass team os the executioner's hood just to give them some more armor because that is actually light armor has only got six yeah what's that that's medium medium medium and medium so yeah it's only a bit of heavy armor has got give them a bit of a boost we'll start off with them using that weapon to start with to get it down a bit because it will apply sunder and has a armor pen and then once it starts getting low we'll swap him to executioner blade and hopefully we'll see him execute and i will swap to the bow and arrows uh euron scouting okay so i have a feeling that it's corrupted down here it is yeah so we're gonna pull it out and pull it upstairs actually this is a bad place to keep the horse okay can you go for him please just try and get some poison on them i'm not gonna do an awful lot of damage with bowenaro with no points in accuracy so we're gonna let t-moss do most of the hard work and i'll just get the stacks of poison going and then i might actually intermittently swap it coming after me again how can you get me through the wall that's cheating poisoned went got the horse as well but missed get forced to follow me stop following that uh just get them out of the way so there's a big beast i've got to check team oscar's level 15 pack it of course it's 20 stacks of bleed but you can only do 10 poison let's put the daggers on here oh all right getting a new problem at all am i crippling him by hitting him in the legs over here might be crippling him but he's got big strides oh yeah i'm crippling him four thousand left i think this one actually has slightly less hp than the other red one that's in the north of the city wants to go and fight that one day just to compare them but the other one doesn't have a the drops that this one can possibly have that's down so if you haven't already killed one of the bb ones you get that journey step destroy your dragon right and then let's have a look and see yeah nothing nothing very exciting just normal stuff yeah actually we'll take but he does he does have the chance of dropping or she has the chance of dropping some some nice items which i will probably stick up on the screen right now okay and of course the best thing about killing a dragon is you get a dragon head which ah i forgot to do the execute ah totally screwed that up oh well never mind uh right let's let's go and do what have we got what have we got i'll go and do a try i think which is the closest boss i'll do the brute i'll do the brute where's the brute is up this way the whole point of coming here was to show you the execute and i forgot about it oh hello i think the brute skeletons just in this valley here there he is okay okay stop following you come in take them out you go right this time where's your your health's fine let's just give you the executioner blade right now you're scouting so that's fine let's just go and take them out hello come on hit them you hitting him i'm stuck a bit longer for these guys without the thought he's mace but whatever got 14 so when he gets to just under 1 500 he should drop dead um when i grew off them just to light the packs just to try and reduce the aggro does a bunch of heavy attacks can't use the poison arrows on this guy of course because he can't be poisoned or bled being a skeleton okay close up okay three thousand two thousand and he's dead instantly killed him oh and he has the helm of the brute so that's a legendary medium armor and a repair kit take that a legendary it's exactly the same model as what i'm wearing the reptilian armor but it's legendary um with bonus strength on it so also also reasonable one all right let's give you your actual mask back but there we go we saw what what was going on there um we we went off we found the executioner we had to run it a couple of times to get him to drop something he's dropped his hood and his sword the the other item is his axe um but we we took that and then we went to the the red mother to ho i wanted to show you the execution on there but i forgot to equip it so we've now killed the brute as well and you saw him being executed in the last ten percent and we got a dragon's head from the the red mother as well which is which is nice
