Conan Exiles - Beginner's Guide 2022 - Part 25: Midnight Grove Dungeon

hi folks and welcome back to conan exiles this is the 25th episode of the beginner's guide series and in the last episode we tamed these little group of guys behind this so we have a valencia who is a not a guaranteed spawn and then we've got the sumerian berserker leon and the beastmaster tmos which i i have been informed in the comments in the last video the beastmaster team isn't exactly a hundred percent spawn but he's a probably about an eighty ninety percent spawn and certainly every time i've ever went to go and tame him he's always been there but as you can see what i've done in between episodes is i've dressed them back in their actual armor that they wore before we tamed them so we have delincia has got sumerian steel boots and gloves and the sumerian fur tacit and she's still got her star metal sword the berserker has got a full set of sumerian steel armor apart from the don't wear a helmet and they've got the star metal greatsword leon has still got his hardened steel war axe and he's got a full set of vanir settler all light armor and we've worked out what beastmaster teamos wears so he wears the reptilian gloves and boots like we said last time the chest piece and the leg piece are the combusion shaman chess piece and wrap and thanks to a few people commenting in the the comments of that last video the headpiece is a head piece from jebel sag which we don't have access to yet because we haven't learned the devil sag religion so in this episode we're going to go and learn the jebel sack religion so that we can get his head piece and we do that by going to it's around about here here maybe and we we speak to uh i think it's like a where hyena guy and he will teach us the potion that we need to teleport into the midnight grove dungeon and if we complete that dungeon and kill the last boss we get a piece of meat that if we eat that meat we learn the jebel sag religion so that's what we're going to do today so i'm going to get my stuff ready and i'm going to meet you over where we where we teleport and meet that guy okay i'll see you in a bit bye okay we've arrived so this is where we are here so we've come across the desert here through the finger fang rock and come up here and to this location here and there we see this guy there's a scorpion coming right so this guy child of jebel sag so we speak to him come to me if we talk to him he'll tell us all about devil sag we can learn the midnight alchemist which allows us to make a potions ourself so it allows us to make a portion of midnight which is the portion that teleports us into the midnight growth dungeon a portion of bestial memory which resets your attribute points and a portion of natural learning which resets your feed points so they are similar if you drink a yellow lotus potion it resets both of them if you want to just reset one of them you can make one of these to adjust to your attributes or just your feats which is nice and handy right that's all we need to do but the other thing is he will sell us a portion of midnight for five feral flesh so if we chop up this scorpion that we just we've got 28 fellow flesh purchase that we get a potion and the potion only lasts 30 seconds so we have to drink that and that will teleport us into the dungeon and did i take my horse with me i did damn it oh well fingers crossed you'll be okay right so we're inside the very very beautiful dungeon that is the midnight grove if we go into there that teleports us back to september and at the moment all the entrances are blocked off apart from this one so we can only go one way and what have we got hyenas it's all animal based in this dungeon oh by the way i took valencia the new delincia with this valencia let's rename it here 2.0 we'll level her up give her a full set of simmering steel just to give her a bit more vitality and a bit more health all right a few more oh [Music] on you what is that bone meal no no no i'm not gonna bother carrying any of that rubbish right so we've got two ways we can go here one way is what's that more hyenas and the other way is bores well let's go the boars hi guys oh i should have gotten valencia better weapon she's still got her star metal sword that's a shame oh well so really crippling myself here i've taken my horse on that and i've taken a delincia with the wrong weapon that hey right there's some more have you got diners [Music] anymore up here there's more maybe the hyenas would have been the easier way they've been had less hp because these are 700 hph but hey-ho my boys what i meant to do was put the horse on stop following outside because if you leave him just unstop following and not on guard after a while they'll just head back home again and since the exit of this dungeon takes you to separa meru if we came out with a dungeon in separate we then have to come all the way back over here to come and get our horse back we could put it down guard so yeah pulling the whole place all at once let me let me get through here i might get these let archers take care of the boards i'll take the archers like that follow the level up oops missed [Music] there we go keep going yep oh wolves sunburned our water's going down really quickly as well it's typical with dungeons is it seems to always be a lot warmer in dungeons okay so let's just take some drinks let's chuck that in that and we'll eat a bit of food to get our food up a bit healing set one move left okay and as it says we're now going into wolf territory even though we've met them all already anymore around this bit we've got an archer two walls take out the rules first please then we'll take the arch this has got anything to do i've never ever found anything to interact with that what we've got one archer one wolf is that just from the light okay bleeding i think abortion just get our health up quickly okay more wolves get away from my horse okay i must be getting close to the first boss by now another wolf a bunch of bulls because i see an archer around the corner again yep sneaky another level up from this yeah you know seven eight let's just go get our level 10 park by the time we finish this dungeon there is the first boss anymore before we go nope right so in there where is it i can't see i think this is a panther boss what is go get it so we're now locked in this arena three skull and 3000 hp so yeah not difficult at all and it's dead and the gates all opened and to get everything off of it i think we get shade bloom here we go so shade bloom can be used to make better food for taming and this is basically the only place you get it you can get it from a rare drop off of a mob in the outside world but basically you get it from from here all right so there's two ways to go i think this takes you back to the the start that that there was a clocked gate that is now open and this will take us to the next area however for health and war okay all right so we've got men cats and bears let's go bears there we go again would have been better if we had maces to get through the bears high armor but forgot and i say we it was me [Music] [ __ ] i guess i could equip my daggers and we might be able to get some bleed on them anymore anymore there's another one and an arc chart check out the trap that's it and i'll get some bleed on yet a little bit quicker [Music] the next one is that water can i drink it i can drink it and i can fill my water there's two of them awesome that's gonna be awkward hmm [Music] the other one missing me 600. god stack of food okay move on oh there's two more bears here great do the dagger thing without shields down missed okay let's head through here any more beers oh people people and bears excellence glowing goop it is but we're not underwater this baby bear we could pick that up if we wanted to and follower of sag stuck in there yep okay and the hairs are stuck one's got a head in the rock and the other one's just not moving well i'm going to take advantage of that oh but you hit you level up for valencia nope so this one has got something wrong with its brain oh that one's out of its bone fire now oh there we go it moved not much all right can i take you out now yes and that one's down okay well that was a bit bugged which is the way in this is it this way more bears are these ones moving is my horse getting attacked where is my horse where's valencia are we back out the same bit again well there's valencia which way is the right way i'm not sure let's do here okay no that's the way we came in so is we came in this way oh there's the horse and valencia can you get this bear just seems to be this cave seems to be really badly bugged so we pulled this one in and now it can't move of course are you still actually following yes it is okay i'm sure it'll teleport out once we get out this one's bugged as well i don't know where delency is there's a horse oh there's another beer coming [Music] oh there's valencia now this one's bug dude so get that one first oh pulled everything in [Music] let's get the stacks of bleed on them okay let's just get out of there let's something wrong there all right i think yep there's the next boss let's get some more water nothing else guarding the gate valencia is coming and it's the gorilla silverback gorilla [Music] so it's a bit tougher it's 5 600 but again still nothing gorillas do have higher high armor i don't know it's just right-click heavy attacks to put the bleed on pounded me so that gate now opens that takes us back to the start with the triple sack mask and let's chop you up more shade bloom and go ahead hide that get okay so onwards we go there's one more boss we have to do before the the final boss with a few dare to walk it's just the way to the little pictures picture there what is cats so i believe there's a saber tooth down here like that beast there missed there we go now that the work's done anymore got to be some more there's one three a bit tougher now because these guys are pretty hard to beat not so bad when there's only one of them but when you've got three attacking at the same time hello cubs cops cops cops cops cubs cubs kittens even got one got another one all right probably gonna be really heavy now so horse please take those two my favorite pet in the whole game especially we can get the greater variety let's go get him [Music] one cut two two archers two three [Music] i did two of them for you valencia slacker anymore oh he's got gorillas just normally sundered you just see there's two others pounding away over there get over that let's get some healing going caught up in their combos there so took a bit of a hiding all right let's do this gorillas [Music] more gorillas i think there is only just one more boss and then there's the main boss itself [Music] maybe that wasn't the right way to go foreign [Music] um we missed something i thought it was this way this is the way this is the cat way so we came down here kill all them and down here run out of stamina down this way [Music] this is the way we needed to go because there's the next boss fight this one's a bit annoying because you've actually got to drop down take some damage and then we have to try and get the length of that giant bull come on valencia then you come you disappear here's delincia right the bull disappears into smoke so we'll have to try and get off my horse let's get some 4 000 damage so yeah hp he does that horrible aoe there keep out of that get in and get some shots in between he's charging so let's get valencia to stay out of the smoke so he comes back out there he goes where you going come come come here because he's such a pain 3000 going to get knocked back as well so she can't do the [Music] poison arrows would be good for this oh come on halfway there oh charge give us a break come on now slowly getting them down so we ain't smoke i won't say i come back come out again missed okay five hundred there we go what a pain in the butt that fight is all right but the smoke goes as soon as you kill them yeah i've got some more shade bloom and we've got some exotic flash and stuff all right where's the way out you have to climb back up uh yeah about this path here right i think that's the three bosses so now we have to go back to the center oh more walls [Applause] there's the center up here and then i think we can then [Music] go and fight the main jebel sag boss himself and which way is it forgotten have all respawned one two three it's the three other bosses it's this right give me a second i'm just going to check make sure and don't go the wrong way i'll be back a second okay i'm back so i went the wrong way so you don't go back to the center you do keep going this way through the walls and this will take us to the last boss hello is doing well [Applause] i need some more drink water up and get some more healing going all right here we go so we're into the and there's the there's the location of the last boss so we're into the where i think these are where hyenas as opposed to a werewolf which is the same sort of creature as the guy that we speak to to get in here in the first place there you go spotted hayden 900 health some healing anymore nope okay right i need to get fully healed up before i go into this guy so this last boss is i believe it is a werewolf but it might be aware right we're fully healed up and he is so fast so there he is yeah werewolf so i'm just going to block because it's so quick that you can't get any attacks in until he does a howl so he only has 5 000 health so he's not that tough but it's just getting hits in it's the difficult part because he's focused on valencia at the moment we can take him out if he's after you just shield up and just wait for his break in attacks it's too quick to like dodge out the way [Music] ah he's done and there is the god of devil sag himself good challenge there he goes so we chop him up we get flash of remembrance so if we consume that you have learned a new recipe and the new recipe we have learned should be here we go the religion of jebel sacks so we can make the alter a blood letter which we'll need to get the items to what can we craft canine lure imp lure bird lure hunter potion increases accuracy the offerings and night eye potion that allows us to see in the dark and then when we get that up to level two we'll be able to craft the helmet that we're looking for but one way out of here which is out this way which takes us back to the center it doesn't even take it back to the center it's got its own little bit but if we then come to here and go return the surface it breaks us out in the middle of a lake in the middle of super maru there we go which is the way out this way and the guys haven't spawned in but there's a fisherman can be there but if we swim over this way drink while we're at it jump on our horse and up here is our base where there's a bottle music coming from you fighting somebody okay we're home again right i'm going to go oh they weren't are you on attack all enemies instead of guard me uh right let's just stick you back in the list over here and the horse here so what i'll go and do is i'll go and make a jebel sag alter and i will get the items we need to level up to level two so that we can craft that helmet and i'll be back for you very soon but it's going to take me a little while okay see in a bit okay we're back for some weird reason it wouldn't let me put the altar on like a foundation platform like it like it did with the other ones but either way i've just dumped it down here we've got to keep it far enough away from the other alters i've went and upgraded it to a level two and now we can now craft the headdress of jebel sag and it requires a light padding 15 hyena pelt five feathers and five sacred blood that we get from sacrificing humans which i all have in here so we can get that crafted here we go and now we can place that on beastmaster tmoss and now he has the full uniform i have swapped out when i was um he has a steel pike the the trident shaped one um as standard and when i was leveling them up i did swap that for the lemurian pike just to give it a bit more a bit more damage but that's that's essentially what he what he looks like okay but what i did forget to do at the start of the the episode was i leveled all these guys up to level five so i was going to show you all the stats but i forgot to do that and i've since then leveled up valencia going through that dungeon so just give me a second and i'll pull up all the information that i've got that shows what their stats were back then okay so valencia started off with 5547 hp at level five she managed to get to 5934 hp i do have to point out that she was only being fed gruel which increases her strength not her vitality we needed to use the the cooked steak to do that um so she only gained 387 hp over that five levels but she's still almost six thousand i do have to point out that she got to level 10 while doing that dungeon and she got the dead eye perk which means less strength i.e less melee damage and plus five on accuracy so also really bad perk to get for a fighter thrall so she'll be getting ditched and replaced with another one sumerian berserker he started off with 4 337. and you can see at level 5 he's now on 5188 so that's a 743 increase leon started off with 3727 he now has 4 389 so that's a 662 increase but again still still pretty low beastmaster tmoss he started off with 3276 he now has 4437 which is a 1161 increase over the five levels again only using a gruel for strength boost whereas if you had the grill stake he could get even more hp but he's heading in the direction of being a quite a beast because he he does have 64 growth chance which is boosted up to 78 with the the gruel and he already has a 79 chance on health so yep he he got some some good health those other bonuses are just coming from his armors so yeah he he is certainly a very good quick level enthrall the some of the other ones you could kill all the shale backs that were down there then go through that gap and kill all the shale backs that are on the other side of that cliff to get to to get to level five whereas he has was pretty much he killed the shellbacks there and a couple of shale box around there and he was level five already without going anywhere close to all of them so the amount of xp that you need to level them up is is really low so you can see there that he needs 36 000 to go to the next one uh whereas if we look at berserker he needs a hundred and nine thousand to go to level six so it's very quick to level him up and he levels up very well valencia starts off well and stays strong all the way through we've just been really unlucky that we've got archer perks for both our valencias at the moment but there we go we've been to the midnight grove we learned the recipe or the feat for jebel sag religion we crafted the altar leveled up to level two and i was able to make beast master team losses rp headgear so he's now in his full full gear as our as are the other other
