Complete Houseplant Collection Tour 2021! plant collection 2021

hey guys it's been well over a year since i did one of these complete houseplant collection tour videos and a lot of my setup a lot of my collection has changed so i thought it was time i finally did one of these i've been putting it off because they're kind of long-winded i'm not going to be breaking this up into multiple videos but i will be putting time stamps for each of the different rooms of you so much helix let's get back into the video let's get into this house plant collection tour let's do this all right so first up we are in my basement in the filming room i think this is the first time you guys will be seeing this other than like in videos this is a behind the scenes shot of the filming room nothing super fancy but you know it's a room it films stuff i guess we'll start over here with the bigger plants so on this table here we have a very ski wampus bird of paradise it's really really leaning and i think this is because i recently moved it down here and it was kind of far away from the light upstairs now it has a south window so i think it'll start straightening itself out but yeah i don't know i kind of like it it looks cool like coming in from the corner of videos and next to that we have a little ficus audrey fun fact this is the type of plant that you know buddha sat under when he reached enlightenment not in a very cute setup down here but that doesn't really show on screen so you know what this is fine and if you're wondering what this white stuff is in the pots it's diatomaceous earth as a precaution so yeah i have that in both of these and over in this corner over here we have my big boy monstera which i love you guys this plant has been through so much i chopped it back last summer completely i think you'll be able to see also has diatomaceous earth like you can see where i completely chopped it back and it's grown back full force even better than before so i do not regret it at all this is the newest leaf and it's perfect so perfect there's that monstera and it's sitting on a stool which i think you guys have seen in several videos that i thrifted look at those aerial roots they're wild oh i love it so much okay and then here we have a terrarium which i think also you would have seen in a video there's a lot of condensation so you're not really going to be able to see the plants but ryan has his begonia why can't i remember what it's called there it is and then there's another little tiny begonia amphioxus propagation right down there doing its thing staying small but you know what it'll grow and then just right over here next to that we have an aloe vera cute little aloe vera which i have utilized a few different times and here we have a spathaphylum jessica which i don't know what it is people don't really talk about this variety too much i know not a lot of people are fans of spathophylum but i actually really really love them so i don't know i like collecting the different varieties and this is such a beautiful one really really pretty finally repotted it like very recently in a new series so yeah and it actually really is liking this and this is a south facing window of course you can see it is in the window well thing but it does the job turning you around here we have my six foot terrarium which oh gosh i don't know move all this crapola i don't know if you guys are going to want to see have names for each of the plants there are like a ton in here um but here's an overview there are just so many plants in here it'd be hard to name them all and i honestly i don't know the names of all of them my lil my big little six foot terrarium so i mean i can do like a dedicated terrarium tour maybe i don't know what do you guys think let me know if you want me to name all the individual plants obviously by the time this video goes up it'll be too late what do i do that is the room okay now upstairs next up we're upstairs in the like living room kitchen area and i guess we'll just start over here this is my spathaphylum sensation you can see there's some ugly parts that's because i forgot to water it but it's getting a lot of new leaves so i think it's fine and it's actually blooming yay thanks liquider i do actually give full credit of that to liquider so oh there's another one right there cute okay yeah there's spathalophylum sensation it's just in like a bucket on this little table which i also thrifted i need to sand the top of it or something but whatever it works for now okay and then next to that i have philodendron brazil going all over the place it's so beautiful i love this plant and look it's kind of starting to climb up the tv isn't that cute i think it's cute next to that we have skin dapsus pictus argeris and actually i found out it's pronounced syndapsis but i don't like that i guess syndapsis pictus argerus argus whatever i did recently chop this because it was getting super super long and kai was starting to show interest in it so i just gave it a little chop actually a lot of chop it literally was touching the floor but not anymore oh that rhymed next to that we have my little ikea shelf which up here we have syngonium eritium our erythium kind of a weirdo little guy my neon pothos which i've talked about a lot i really love this plant i think it's so cute and as far as potholes go i don't know the leaves are just really big so i like it and it's so bright and full looking because the leaves are so big i guess anyway next to that then we have a monstera cutting rooting in water and it is by now rooted here we have an aloe coral fire aloe baby that i've potted up some monster and sonia i chopped up and back there is a parlor palm living its best life never thought i would live to see the day that i keep a parlor palm alive but i did then here we have a some yellowing on it that's okay we have syndaxes silvery and i think it's thirsty yeah it is thirsty because the leaves are starting to curl but this one's so pretty look at how silvery the new leaves come in they're just like sectioned silvery sectioned i don't know but yeah i really like this one it definitely is thirsty and next to that we have a ludicia discolor it's a type of jewel orchid i believe kind of going wild here and i think it's really cute in this pot look at the lightning bolts it's so vibrant i love me a black plant that's so pretty and then here we have a peperomia which i have no idea the variety please leave a comment if you know what kind this is my mom gave me a cutting that was probably like this size and i've just been cutting and repotting and it's just gotten so big kind of growing all over the place and i really like it i think it's a cutie and right next to that we have a philodendron mikins which i also gave the chop recently but you know these vines are doing great so no regrets right and then moving down a row we have a syntaxis oh what is this one i can't remember what this one is i'm gonna have to put the name on the screen for this one i cannot remember the variety to save my life and here we have a we have two begonia bikes and a begonia leper leopard begonia i believe um just in this little thing that i got from botanica it's so cute here we have an antherium q to qnc which i'm very proud of because although it did kill off this older leaf this new leaf is new like i just said and it has little aerial roots everywhere so i think it's happy really cool plant and here we have a type of gasteria which i can never remember the variety of this but you know i love it oh look it's got some babies down there can you see them got two little babies right there and right there so cute and this is a philodendron birkin which to be honest with you i'm not loving this plant lately i don't know i really really loved it in the beginning but now it's just given me guff it's like constantly thirsty doesn't need repotted it just doesn't look as good as it used to oh well and back here we have a dark lord philodendron or ubessens this is one of my favorite philodendron varieties should i i could do a video on all my favorite philodendrons if there's any interest let me know probably not it's okay if not no pressure but yeah i think that's really pretty this window here is a north facing window we have mama coral fire aloe which is now blooming have a jade succulent which i love this used to be in kai's room and then next to that we have a little boobie cactus i think is so cute and funky it's a cool plant here we have a peperomia orba which is a new one to my collection found it at lowe's here is a philodendron last serum last serum i believe really really cute plant look it's getting a leaf so exciting the leaves are huge so highly highly recommend one of these i love it here we have a little golden pothos which i propagated and potted up in my how to water propagate from start to finish video if you'd like to watch that i'll have that linked and then this is a little like jumbled mix of plants that has syngonium butterfly and then several different dracinas and it used to have parlor palm but for some reason suddenly the parlor palm died i've had this for over a year now ryan's parents gave this to me for actually at the hospital when kai was born last year so i don't know why all of a sudden died that's sad oh look i think it's coming back to life right there anyway yeah okay next to that we have my biorb nothing has changed in this although things are yellowing so i am going to need to repot everything here soon i've just kind of been putting it off like i want to take everything out and completely redo this reset it up yeah it's getting a little bit too full and then here we have a silver stripe philodendron which i cut the crap of out of it used to be so full and now it is just not and then there's my ryan editing next to my cebu blue pothos which i've also cut the crop out of but i think it's going to be so much happier now because it was just so wild and tangled before and now it's not so some of these leaves are getting really big and it just sits in this little wicker basket and i love this plant love it now we are in my bedroom which is messy my whole house is messy don't judge um we'll start over here look uh this is a spathaphylum domino i've already proclaimed my love for spathaphylums and yeah this is definitely up there i think it's so pretty i mean would you look at that would you just look at that so pretty and i love like the texture i don't know what it is about this variety and this like weird texture it gets but i just love it i think it's so cool and just different from like a lot of other things a lot of other plants out there that you can buy here next to ryan's dirty socks we have this little fish planter with a tiny little lucky bamboo dracina in it which is drying out at the bottom but the top's okay so i don't know and then walking you over to my side of the bed we have where my monstera and sony i once lived and i mean it will still live like some of the growth points are poppin they're definitely starting to activate over here there's another one just all over so that will regrow but for right now it's an ugly little stump which is fine i just wanted to propagate it and kind of start over with a new one but i mean this one will grow back like i said a lot of times okay i'll shut up now and then here on this little glued onto this little pirate thing which i have no idea how to get it off i've tried um is my one and only air plant which i think is really cute and i love this little pirate thing and here we have a terrarium with um a variety of different begonias in there and then there is also a mint variegated add in sonia this tiny little leaf there just kind of a little bit of everything in there you know and moving you to this windowsill which is north facing we have a hoya pubic helix pink pink minx i want to say pink something but it's really cute i mean i hope the camera will be able to pick it up but the freckles it gets instead of silver like most freckly plants um they're like very light pink they actually kind of match my nails that's cute huh yeah and i love that you know how i feel about hoya pubic alex which is again why i collect all the different varieties and here's a little pillia paelia pepperonis this was just a little baby off my mama plant which you of course will see later on in the video and then here we have a little cow and cowy what are you you are you are a calancoe mother of thousands and she does have two little toddlers hanging onto her hips right there so cute but if you pull these off and put them in dirt they will grow into a new plant which is really fun really cool and here we have a little makeshift terrarium with a begonia and a begonia claristicta green form and a ludicia or some sort of jewel orchid and then two other orchid varieties which i have no idea the names um yeah doing really well i need to pull this thing out of here or it's going to get stuck we have a philodendron florida ghost yeah look look at that ghosty leaf and of course here we have my ikea greenhouse cabinet with again a lot of plants i guess i'll just point out like i don't know some begonia epipremnum and plessimon silver glo silver glory syndopsis variegated gigantium i don't know there's just a little bit of everything in here it seems like gloriosum labisia real yeah and right to the side of that we have a philodendron by penifolium new leaf coming in hot right there monstera elbow which this is the newest leaf isn't it pretty yeah it is yeah it is so yeah there's that and i almost forgot but here is my syndaxes pictus exotica still needs repotted turning yellow it's okay though because it's still putting out healthy new growth it's just some of the older growth is turning yellow which i don't worry too much about that personally and then just sitting here on the floor is a monstera which actually popped out this sport little section so i'm excited to see what this what the next leaf on this little section of the plant looks like um i don't know if you'll be able to see it very well on camera but it is sport variegated which is exciting and here we have an antherium of some sort which still to this day i have no idea what it is it was sent to me and the name on it was definitely wrong i don't even remember what it was but when i searched the name like nothing popped up that looked even remotely like this so yeah but i do know it's a type of anthurium that's all i can give you though okay and then here we have what are you cardboard palm i really like it here i think it looks good so yeah that is my bedroom yay bedroom plants and now we are in my bathroom which is very messy okay it's fine so here we have a hartley philodendron which i oh i love it so much look at how cute it is climbing up my wall oh it's so cute right look there's the full effect i'm excited for it to get big and then here's a golden potos i chopped up recently in a video finally growing back and then just a little hartley philodendron baby which i recently potted up into that so now let's go over here where more of the plants are look how big my belly is it's getting so big it grew so fast this time here we have my calathea makoyana one of my most talked about plants in my videos i would say i mention this one all the time because i absolutely love it i think it's such a cool plant so beautiful i mean you can see the colored variety in the plant and the super i don't know intricate markings on the leaves it just lives right there next to that we have some sort of syngonium i'm so sorry i don't know the variety but it is really really pretty this is the newest leaf here and i love the shape and the color the coloration i don't know there's just something cool they turn kind of like gray like this one as they mature here we have a crystalline cross magnificum which is such a beautiful plant love it so much and next to that we have golden pothos justin water rooting away can you see the roots hello roots of this little plant in water so cool okay moving you upward we have my lemon limeranta which wow you guys i need to trim some plants should i do a video what is going on there which has spider mites oh no i need to treat this plant asap yep spider mites that sucks oh it's been blooming so i was like feeling all good about it but oh my gosh that's so bad oh my gosh oh you can see them right there crawling those little black things are crawling on their webs oh my gosh i need to take this down and deal with it i'll do a video i'll do a video dealing with this it's okay i'm gonna like start hyperventilating but it's fine we're gonna be okay we're gonna be okay you're gonna be okay lemon lime miranda i promise i'm glad i decided to get up close to see that because that's bad but don't worry don't worry we'll take care of it it's fine bugs happen it happens if you have inside plants it just happens sometimes stay tuned for that video anyway here are my various orchids again this is a north window oh this one bloomed so cute and here we have syngonium styromarky which is my top favorite syngonium of all time so yeah getting a new leaf such a cutie and here we have a philodendron gloriosum this is the newest leaf looking good really really pretty i love it oh that leaf is yummy that leaf is yummy and next that we have my raphida sport well raphaephora tetrasperma which i'm debating chopping up or giving it like a super high moss pole because it's growing kind of wonky i mean you can see it's like and i have no idea where it's going to go from here so yeah yep did it stay it those plants were out there and that's the whole bathroom now we're in oh it's really echoey i'm so sorry it's really echoey i'm so sorry but we are in our guest bathroom it is kind of full of plants i think i think it's one of my favorite planty spaces in my whole house but here we have syngonium butterfly which this was one of my first plants i say that every time i mention this plant but it was and it's grown so much it started out as one or two like little stem cuttings and look at how much it's filled in like all on its own which is really exciting doing well and here we have a lucky bamboo which is actually a type of dracena so yeah people call this bamboo it's not actually bamboo and this is the only place i've ever been able to keep bamboo happy i mean there's a window here or that kind of dracina happy there's a east window here and then just you know artificial light up here and that's all it gets and it's done better here than it has anywhere else in the house so if you're struggling maybe put it somewhere with even lower light okay and definitely the pride and joy of this bathroom is this golden pothos which is just all over and i love it kind of wild looks a little weird how it's like going up around the lights um but oh wow it's gonna fill in so good i mean it already is filling in so good so i think it's really cool again and it goes on to the top of the toilet so you know you're like attacked by plants if you got a p diddle my guests are already my house guests are already attacked by plants just by coming in the house and then here you know a little double attack so yeah i love it so much okay here we have a valentine aglionima which look it put out a little baby oh let me move it this is a valentine aglionima and it put out this little baby offshoot plant which i'm really excited about because this one's been looking rough i don't know why just every once in a while it gets a leaf that does this but like the rest of the leaves look completely fine so i don't know oh maybe i need to cut off the bloom kind of weird looking got a little thing in there i don't know yeah i love this plant next to that we have these two oh is that a hair there's hair everywhere oh no it's not it's a piece of dirt um we have these two little teeny tiny micro donkey tail succulents which there was just a little donkey tail there were two little donkey tail leaves in a plant i purchased um one of the leaves hasn't fallen off yet so it just had two of these in a plant when i went to repot it and i decided hey why not just try and get a plant going and i got both of them to go so yeah i love these and they're just so tiny are you kidding me you're so teeny tiny and so cute okay and then here we have a type of sansevieria which put off a little baby move it so you can see a little better and i think it's cute the baby is almost as big as the mom plant now no idea what it is other than sansevieria type but i like it whatever it is the name doesn't matter and then here we just have some syngonium so there is a syngonium iridium which is a little bit sun bleached but the rest of this is syngonium batik batik cuttings i say that every single i say it different in every single video so one of these times i'll get it right right which is just living its best life let's see what these roots look like oh it needs potted up i mean it also has moss in there so those weren't all roots but it's definitely well rooted um just look at these markings it's so pretty wow it's so pretty so yeah you can't really see this that well because it's you know incredibly backlit but oh well it's so pretty i love this bathroom okay the next room i'm actually not going to show you each individual plant either like same with the terrarium downstairs on my ikea cabinet there's just so many plants to get through but it is the room that we have been propagating for my shop and you'll see there are a lot of propagation bins i'm not going to be opening the propagation bins today in this video but i will show you the room so let's go oh it's not that bad okay so here's some plants i pulled for the shop restock this week and so many propagation bins um here we have an avocado tree which is sad i forget what this is called it's a type of euphorbia let's get up close some sad etihated succulents some hoya from hoya's queen 10 out of 10 recommend checking her out and a bunch of little gasteria babies little cuties and then what do you know more propagation bins and more propagation bins the propagation has been something else something else lately you know we just been on a whole other level okay i'm gonna need that to spray off a bunch of freaking little spider mites all right so here we have all my monsters i'm propagating so here's some sport variegated monstera really really cool looking one um some elbow monsters i'm propagating mostly elbow monsteras and then some random little euphorbias which i have no idea the name i'm not super well versed on succulent plants um but yeah more monstera another little euphorbia and more sport monstera and a random little red stripe claythea cute okay and then the last room oh let me turn off guys sound machine and then the last room with plants is kai's room so let me show you all the plants in here so above this little oh gosh it's really messy above kai's little play area we have a holiday cactus and i believe this one is an easter cactus well i don't even know because aren't they okay i always thought that they were named easter thanksgiving christmas based on when they bloomed like if it bloomed around easter it meant it was an easter cactus but i think it might also have to do with the shape so i'm not quite sure i want to say easter or thanksgiving but this one did bloom more around easter time so yeah i just have it hanging there out of kai's reach for now and over here on the other side um up here we have my hoya carnosa compacto which i recently moved in here out of the propagation room which we were just in because i needed the space the shelf space so now it lives here and again it's a little bit too high for kai to reach fortunately but this is like my pride and joy oh it's growing he's growing and he's so pretty i've had this for years now i think three years now and then up here we have a philodendron mayoi or tahiti philodendron i think it's also known as this was two cuttings that i bought from planting the world red and they are now rooted and pushing out these baby leaves obviously the baby in mature leaves look a lot different than the mature leaf like the shape but you know they'll get there then down here kind of hidden by the hoya compacta we have a dishidia ovata which i love and again was getting a little bit too long so that's why all the ends are chopped kai could reach it it was like down to where this little airplane thing is so i chopped her up propagating it and it's doing pretty well i think it's a really beautiful plant and then behind all of that we have manjula pothos another one of my favorites i guess i say that about everything but this is just such a beautiful plant i've also been chopping and propping this like nobody's business and it still looks full as ever oh my gosh there's just something about i don't know what it is there's just something about a leaf with like a drop of water let's see if i can get this to focus water like that that i find really beautiful you know what i mean isn't that so majestic you can barely see it but i find it really majestic and it's spilling over the side here okay a spathaphylum domino propagation which again you saw in a how to water propagate video from start to finish and it now lives in kai's room and here's my newest pink princess philodendron so pretty look is gonna leave what will it look like we don't know i'm excited to see though i hate how they do this it looks so stressful right and here we have my paliya pepperomeoides which is the mother plant to the one you saw in the guest bathroom and it's got a lot of babies down there again that i need to remove and get them propagating and right next to that we have a what are you lemon lime philodendron yeah just you know in some water can you even no you can't even tell but it's in water in a llama okay so those are all the plants in my house obviously without all the plants in my house i guess i should say that are like out living on shelves um in my daily life because obviously we have the propagation boxes i'm not getting into those and seeing those plants every day i have to grow tent i'm not even going in the grow tent every day um and then my two big terrariums i don't really go look at those every day either some days but not all days so yeah those are the plants that are like in my daily life around the house if that
