going to be an amazing crazy day here in florida we're at a resort and we're going to tell you how you yeah you you not just what the hell's but you you could actually live here for free in florida we're finally here and we're gonna have some fun one of my buddies i know he's around here somewhere one of my buddies maybe you remember where there's a willis there's a way well there is a willis right there there's a willis so there's what you do in willis now remember where there's a willis there's always a way and there's actually a way for them to live here in florida for free travis says this is the office here at the resort and uh there's a famous cat miss kitty miss kitty does what she uh she usually decapitates squirrels so she has a good habit of decapitating squirrels so if you've got a squirrel issue where you want to come right here now what what is what is the resort's name ellie ray's rv resort and lounge his actual name ellie rays e l l i.e okay there you go i'm not much of a speller and i'm not good with numbers but uh this is the office right here yep so this is the office so the cool thing about it is here we're on an honor system so therefore have a seat these are kind of i like it already man oh it's so that's that's sturgeon's favorite spot on one of these rocket chairs right here but uh you know so many campers come in and they're wanting to you know get ice or firewood when the office is closed at five we're on an honor system here so we got two bucks a bag and come over here got a little drop box right there like pop open the freezer grab my bag of ice as soon as he's got it all stacked up all right travis be honest with me has anybody ever gotten inside of here as hot as it is right now in florida you might see me in there no you can't do that dude come on come on travis travis come on get on that side come on where there's a willis there's a way come on i'm doing it i'm doing it he's getting it i'm doing it tell me i'm doing it i'm serious yeah where'd he go oh man that never happened that never happened i smelled something we have to we have to delete that we have to delete that yeah that was all the flies around the shoes check this out look at this ellie raise rvresort.com right there and then these got to be okay travis are these cabins here one two three four okay miss suzy says they're they're cat there's a home there's a private home on the property that's the only storage also that's the owner's home okay you can actually rent an entire house absolutely we have an airbnb on the other side of the property right next to the lab wow and look pool substitute george you know what i'm thinking spa day but wait wait wait this is right on the river so these all docking positions right here they are they're not actually numbered just yet i got a little bit work to do on the dock we got some you know a few planks got a fix that came up over the weekend but uh that's one of the next steps that's why we're looking for all the help out there i mean there's a lot of things to get done around here so yep you'll see what do you think you think i can get in this one too i i don't know you know what if i eat enough of these i think i could actually fit in here if i eat all the ice cream first get up on this horse and ride where are we at travis so these are the cool little cabins we have here in the resort that uh you can actually rip these things so you don't have to have an rv or a tent you can come in one of our cabins uh don't bring no or don't bring your limits because we don't have any limits or anything here but we're going to show you inside they're cool rustic awesome and the river's just right over the other side so so if george and i ever ever uh want to get away here in florida get away from our own private getaway right here this is where we would go absolutely let's check it out okay oh you got the key this feels like this feels like being at home in uh at the warehouse being locked out now we haven't cleaned it yet because we only had tough time to clean the ones that were ready to check in the day but hopefully i love the floor already oh yeah look at this look at this oh yeah you got a cook top in here check that out running water i mean that's always a good thing running water for sure okay this is uh this is actually pretty cool and microwave there's got i bet you there's a mini fridge hidden under or no there's a mini fridge right there right there look at that live slab i love it i love it oh man yeah this is you have a bathroom in here dude oh yeah there's a bathroom in here okay sub george check it out there's actually a bathroom in there okay i'll check it out okay there's only room for me in the bathroom travis this is better than my place in otter creek man you know i i i've been out there many times and i'd have to agree this is better than my place this actually has running water that works a bathroom a toilet that flushes yeah uh you think i could get one of these and just plop it out on the property you know actually they do have wheels in the hitch on them i'm not sure if you take one of these but you could probably find them i got the truck this out look how beautiful this is this is one of the camping spots here i think uh travis you said mack daddy's spot right there's mcdaddy right here this is where you got the big old ridge check this out put your chairs up you got your fire pit the river is literally right there there's a spring right over there and there's manatee in the river travis you gotta you gotta you gotta let me know can we see manatee today i hope i'm not gonna say yes or no i hope we can the river is definitely low but uh you can see everything in the river as a matter of fact robbie would have loved it yesterday yeah i got some video of it uh i was chasing about seven foot croc swimming down the riverbank really right over there are you serious okay well you've got to be our manatee whisperer today as well i'm counting on you we have to find we have to find a manatee we have to find a manatee now in this area florida if we find a manatee legally we can or we cannot touch it no no no no nowhere in this area but there are areas in florida sub george come on you're a florida native you're a florida native there are areas in florida where you actually can go in swim with the manatees touch the manatee as they initiate contact with you you'll be seeing that probably soon soon on what the hills are you seeing this i mean are you seeing this now i know we have found a lot of elephants in florida and we also know there's a hails of a lot more elephants coming to florida but i've never seen a pink elephant look at this this is a baby pink elephant this has got to be the coolest thing in the world what they do with this travis travis come here tell us what they actually do with this here well i wouldn't be surprised if they actually do a little bit about what you're doing right now and riding it so yeah that's what they do they're running so actually well what this is if you pan the 360 substitute george you'll see this is our future music amphitheater park that we want to build and so for our guests right now this is 60 acres but they're allowed to come out here after hours and there's no noise ordinance no quiet time they can raise hails all night long so they literally can be as loud as they want as long as they're at the pink elephant well this isn't like the gator at the hell's ranch that's for sure all right now if anybody wants to donate a gator for travis i think he'll accept it yeah especially man i'm so glad you came by man we're out in the woods it's it's burning up on there can we please can we please it's a ride yes yes can we have ice cream too probably look at this travis built a stage finally finally i'm gonna live out my dream as a rock and roll artist forget youtube i'm going on the road actually i'm just gonna stay right here and i'm gonna play until my heart's content nobody will listen but this is so cool live edge here out on the dock looking over the river so how how the name how ellie raised so the original owners uh ellie and ray from what i understand they're uh they're still alive they're still around here in north florida somewhere i don't know where but uh they were the original owners and hence the name ellie raise uh now this the lounge is called sturges at ellie ray's because sturge obviously bought the razor bought it did you look at all this up here oh my goodness you know what i don't know if i'll get in trouble for this but i'm thirsty i need a drink yeah is this where the spa is 32 people 32 people in the spa or or one jeremy if i jump in and i just cannonball and no not if i get in there first no no no no no this is it's 90 plus degrees like 100 humidity this is where i'm wait this is the heated one right yeah yeah i'm not going in that one how about the pool how about the pool over here the pool over here this is what's the degrees on this one nice and cool but it's not as cool as the spring that's right down there though wait till you get to see that the spring all right let's go you know what forget the pools let's go down to the spring i want to find manatee so this is a natural spring here on the river that it is it's uh you know it's not brightened up we need the sun to come out to see a little bit better but how far down does it go so 25 to 30 feet is what i've been told you can definitely see it when the sun is out but the story is years ago they used to cave dive and went all the way up underneath the lounge are you serious i actually i would be all for that i'd be i'd be in on that one that'd be a lot of fun but i don't know about going in the cave no i'd be i 100 i'd be well let me tell you this though that they can't do it no more because they have a daily it fell in oh that i'm not okay with that i'm out on the other side now it's a little bit more clear because of the sun can you see down to the bottom that's pretty cool that actually that would you know what i envision i i envision manatee in there travis there's got to be manatees somewhere i am hoping to see he chewed up his finger on the golf cart trying to fix it how do we get on this thing you know we just got to get on and go all right i'm ready here we go you ready come on let's go see manatee he's untying us let's try i'm pretty sure this you just pulled and just jump in all right we got sturge at the helm captain captain sturgeon i'm king of the world travis oh look at this oh man travis this is amazing it feels great which river are we on so this is the santa fe river this is the river that goes right by right where the resort's on right there in santa fe we're going to cruise up now about five miles up river where the itch that touched me is that's where uh me and stuart seeing the manager just say instant touch me no it's the touchscreen oh okay but anyway that's where i mean that guy back there sturge we saw the manatee that was on one of my videos a while back i saw nothing he's telling nothing i don't believe he saw nothing hopefully we'll see it today but uh yeah and then behind this about a half mile is the swanny river so three rivers all within just a few mile radius it's the best place look at this over here look at that look at all the cypress isn't that beautiful here's the best part you can't build on the river anymore it's outlawed but they're grandfathered so if you want to be on the river you've got to get into a grandfather's system it's so gorgeous i can only imagine living on the river this is amazing [Applause] it's so clear i can see the bottom you probably can't with the glare but we're gonna get to a much much clearer spot and that's where the manatee hang out the manatees are there here you never know where you're gonna see the manatee actually fingers crossed so check it out back here the um the santa fe comes up you can see the difference in the color of the water when it turns into the destiny it really turns into crystal clear water even though it's clear out there it's it's a whole different color than that over there and so this is okay what river are we going on this is the it's the touch knee not is am i gonna touch you okay okay all right but this is where we saw the manatee where do you think they usually hang out so when me and sturgeon were over here on the jet skis yeah uh they were right up in the cedar cheese it's kind of over in the shade milling around and then he actually swam across the river and went to the other side so you know you just got to look you never know so they could be anywhere in here yeah it's crystal clear it's like we're not the only ones looking for manatee this is what fun employment is all about literally just out in the florida woods on the florida river looking for the florida wildlife this is my day today we're still looking he's doing all the work we are still looking this is how clear this is look everybody out on the river oh that looks like crystal clear what's that right there it's got a ripple it's it's rippling right there it's definitely something's in the water right there right over there right over there sturge what is it i think it might be we don't know it might be anything there's something moving there's something moving don't don't take the camera off don't take the camera off it's right up there we're getting closer we're getting closer do you see it mm-hmm you guys flipping notes over there something's moving over there and something's moving over there something is definitely there all right we're about to find out in three two one it is a tree it's just a tree it's water flowing over the tree i thought maybe it was water flowing over a manatee's back what do you think we getting close you know we're getting real real close to where i mean it's third seeing the sturgeon's right up here i think hopefully we can get there if not you saw two of them right what's that oh that's the log that's a log that's no actually not the one that we only seen the one right it was one it was just one how big was it she was a big old gal big big big cow she was a sea cow for sure and we didn't think she had propeller marks on her back but we examined more as he did that's the unfortunate thing is you see the river so low that's why you just kind of cruise through and everybody watches can you see them you turn your motor off and you let them kind of go by let them pass let them pass and it is probably what a couple feet deep right now yeah i mean it's not even looking more than four feet right now so it's pretty shallow the finger what's watch my finger that's a bumper man oh yeah i'm about to start watching you i know also known as the redneck bathroom we're floating backwards through the river right now so we got to a point where it was too shallow so right now sturge is actually turning this this boat around and um this is the party boat we are partying like crazy with water and um water and and water because that's how we party we are looking for these manatees these guys saw him just a couple weeks ago they're somewhere somebody one of the neighbors just told us that they just saw him up front there we still see an alligator stur just said we saw an alligator as a four footer and he got the three inches apparently sturge really knows the size matters so right up here is a better example the river well there's a turtle right over there i like turtles you go from the crystal clear to the other clear right there's the separation from the issue of testing to the santa fe you definitely saw a lot of cool things out on the river right travis okay uh but the coolest thing ever is a manatee and you happened to see the best one so this is some of the things you get to experience when you come to ellie ray's rv park and resort you take a ride up the santa fe hit ditch the touch knee and then cruise up the edge and touch me and he might run into one of these things a manatee you might run into that guy right there too look at that sturgeon the manatee where are we at now this is beautiful where are we at well you know the river is just right over there yeah but this area right here is where uh all the camp workers we're gonna have so all this yep all this we got eight spots or four spots on this side four spots on that side okay so let's say i have a camper all right i have a camper and i have a deep deep desire to live in florida which i do have a camper and i have a deep desire to live in florida if i if i didn't buy 70 acres in otter creek what is the alternative what are some ways that i can actually live in florida for free well you could give me a call and we could um basically set you up what i need is about 20 to 25 hours worth of work during the week and we can pull you right on here set you up plug you in hook you up and uh help me have all the fun and then they're ready to go okay so listen listen to this okay this is what travis is telling you if you want to live in florida for free he's giving you the
