hey guys welcome to awakened reading vlog it is Friday I finished work and I did like am i reading this week actually I think I did the tiniest bit of audiobook listening but apart from that yeah I really didn't read that much so I'm excited because now it is the weekend and it is actually a long weekend so I have days off until on Monday so I haven't decided if I'm going to vlog until Monday or if I'll stop it on Sunday and then start a new one on Monday but anyway so I'll talk about the books I'm currently reading actually I'm really gonna talk about one because my main priority for this weekend is going to be a book that has hopefully arrived I have two packages to open and it should be one of them so I'm so excited I'm still in the middle of the same books as I was in last week's vlog but I have started listening to the audiobook for every big game space out here I'm on page 31 so I'm probably going to listen to some more this weekend although my internet isn't working right now it's actually really annoying because I have a really exciting video going up tomorrow morning actually I can already tell you because it should already be up my book club announcement video so if you missed that video I'm starting a book club books with friends with Spencer from commencement and the first operating is six of codes but anyway I'll link the video up here if you missed it I'm just so excited about it and anyway so that needs to be uploaded by tomorrow morning and I'm using my hot spot chat Wade right now but it's really stressful it's taking so long so I think tonight I have to go to my boyfriend's house to steal his wife I have once planning to just stay home and read but I need to upload but I know sir yes reading me put the gates no let's open the two packages I'm hoping that one of them is the wicked King and one of them should be the wicked King I'm guessing this is a pre-order one of my most anticipated places of the year and the wicked King which is also one of my most anticipated releases of me sorry I feel like I'm talking really weirdly I thought kind of pad spitting me let's open it all say if this is the wicked King the NASA moment priority this weekend yeah so this isn't a good king this is another book I'm really excited for that was the grossest opening of a package this is ship of smoke and steal on one of my most anticipated releases oh my gosh it has the embossed font okay I'm really excited about this this is an alien inspire fantasy I'm probably gonna read this soon well I wanted to read it in January we'll stay file B I want to get it to it okay so this should be the wicked King oh Montana so if you didn't see classics bog I accidentally pre-ordered the UK version of the wicked kings I didn't match the cruel Prince so I ordered the US Edition too much imagine you might order the thing you came on again okay so this is the wicked King and this is the other day yes oh look at that beauty although I will say the actual cover is not as cool as the UK one I'll show you the side-by-side obviously it's the same cover but I don't know if you can see that gold outlining the font is much rider on the UK edition underneath you can see yeah yeah this is just more vibrant I definitely prefer I guess I'm lucky happy to have this them oh yes see even the spines I actually tried to buy the cruel prints UK Edition so I would have two matching sets but it's out of print and it's ridiculously expensive to buy its again so not doing that but um yeah I guess I'm actually happy to have two copies hopefully I love that wicked King as much as I love the cool prints so I'm gonna start this tonight I'm so excited oh it's actually kind of short it's really just everything two pages well that's actually quite sure oh I also have this package that I wanted to open I'm pretty sure this is a birthday present that Amanda from blue-eyed books on Instagram sent me because she sent me the tracking and everything so is there I've just my pear box and don't open it okay it looks like oh my gosh is it oh my god I think this is scruffy on a blanket oh my gosh is this comfy this is one of the best friends ever this is my dog scruffy on a kid oh my gosh that is leeching one of the cool things I've ever seen let me try to show you something oh my god not just the coolest thing oh my gosh thank you so much Amanda I literally love it so much this is everything I can't express how thankful I am and oh my gosh I can't wait to show you I'll bring him in here actually and I'll get his reaction okay I wrote scruffy what do you think oh it's gonna be hard to show it's goofy look that is honestly amazing I can't how thankful I am that's literally one of my favorite presents I've ever received it's just so soulful and amazing and of course I love Scott me so everything pass it's actually really soft this feels like a really good quality sir thank you thank you thank you love it very much lastly I wanted to quickly open this this is from very late and this should be the missing bookmark that was missing in the December box I think that's open it I think it's the game of throwing smoke legs at the clock I actually love this how cool are these bookmarks like this so big and the drawing is like really realistic like it actually looks like Khaleesi I don't watch Game of Thrones but I'm pretty sure her name is Khaleesi slash generis slash honor oh my gosh dragon okay I love these studies cycle now I need to just do a few things booktube related and then I'm gonna start reading the wicked King so excited I've been waiting so long [Music] okay so I'm on page 59 I am flying through this and I am loving it I just love this world I love learning about the world I love the political intrigue and while I don't really love Jude I actually really admire her ambition well I don't know admire it but it's definitely interesting to see the link that she will go to achieve what she wants to achieve it's just so interesting I feel like I'm never bored reading these books even though people say that either slow in the beginning I just don't feel that way I mean I guess like technically it is slower but I don't feel bored or anything because I'm just so interested in the world and I just want to know all the details and I just love this scheming it's just such a fun time so I feel like I'm definitely going to finish this tomorrow because I'm just so into it yeah so I'm actually going to go to my boyfriend's house now because I need to borrow his internet like I said I'm probably gonna stay the night there so I quickly put my bag then go but yeah I'm so excited to continue reading this and meesh it sing thank you Mary probably by the way I love the green font I feel like it's really cool doesn't that look really cool anyway my what Cohen hasn't been in the videos so long but um yes I'm here oh hey hi so we are hanging out today because it's Saturday any has the day off yeah so we are going to what are we doing he's gonna play games why while I try to finish good wicked King oh I got up to page page what is it who is that Maleficent you know up to page Maleficent I didn't recognize her initially I'm up to page 105 and I am cool she's really loving it but not as much as the culprit the girl will print Chrome pretty cool car in sounds better yeah I'm really loving it but yeah just not as much the cool print right now but we'll see we obviously still have like a turn to pages to go heard it here first folks so I'm gonna try to finish this today I think it's possible because I'm really flying to it but I also want to play some Zelda so we'll see are you taking your Oh what did I think it is rock paper scissors we say says rock rock rock Oh what does that mean what do you mean [Music] okay so it's later in the day I finished reading for the day I didn't finish it I am on page ty5 of the wicked King and I'll just try to finish this tomorrow or Monday I don't know how much time I have tomorrow I'm going to the bookstore so so excited I'm going to books Kinokuniya which is like the best bookstore in Sydney I love it so much so I'm so excited so yeah I'm up to like I said page 205 and at this stage I'm really enjoying it but I will say I think it's a four star at the moment if you didn't know the cruel prince was afire sorry to me loved the girl Prince so much it just completely sucked me an animal as invested in this story it's definitely interesting and I actually do really love Jude now well maybe not love maybe we're not there yet but I actually I'm really liking her and I'm definitely liking him more than I like to any call Prince I didn't like her in the corporates but I've actually been finding myself cheering her on so I was like yes Jude so nothing interesting turn of events yes so I have just over 100 painters left and I'll definitely be finishing it over tomorrow Monday yes so now I'm actually probably going to try to bake with Kalyn and we also have Sina and we're probably gonna watch movies so I don't think I'll be reading any more today oh my gosh I forgot to say I forgot to say that I uploaded my book coming out some video this morning and thank you so much to everyone commenting saying you're excited and following at the Instagram and the Twitter I've just been having such a smile reading through the comments and seeing you guys get excited and it's just one of the most exciting things like I am just so excited every month this is gonna be one amazing event that I always look forward to so so excited if you didn't see the announcement video I'll link it up here by reading six of crows in February we're gonna discuss it in the live show it's gonna be I don't using time anyway yeah hey guys quick update just to say I'm going to leave scene Gio to the bookstore yes Sunday I'm gonna set up oh yeah see I'm gonna leave like actually now to go to books Kinokuniya I'm so excited I'll show you a little hole when I go I haven't been you wondering I'm so excited I haven't been to a physical books ranges and have am into books Kinokuniya in ages and I'm just so excited because I love that book stall so much and I'm so excited to see all the mungo how a few things on my list I need to get waiting for spring vol 2 because what I don't need to but I want to because I read the first volume and I really want to continue with the series I want to get this new I over the gotten more graphic novel I didn't realize it up but I still see the space she call it so I need that now and just you know look around and see and [Music] okay we tried to quiet place in the store so I could update you because it's kind of busy thing oh my they are we just sitting down to kind of think and decide which one so gotta buy I think I wouldn't get all of them except a little bit of it I'm just throwing cladogram anyone I'm not hundred percent sure about is this one I need to look up reviews first because I haven't heard of it but it looks really cool you take a horror manga and it's obviously Frankenstein we're ready time come to planning in this yes but I read this early January and it's a really cute kind of essence of like the main cacti okay but I haven't read it yet that's what we're gonna get because oh yeah [Laughter] [Music] in the store because we thought we were together so we're in the car now we're back from the bookstore what reading offense filling one in the bookstore and then we were like will you take me so this what's it called heavy vinyl on the radio yes we saw this and we were like this looks so we ended up picking up two more books but they sounds really cool it's like this girl game it says they're pushing against the patriarchy and it's like some music thing out of it it sounds really cool kind of I'm just starting my day but you were so fun reading in the bookstore yeah and we read at the same pace which is so cool my arms hurting so I'm gonna show you the books and I got laid out but yeah I'm gonna show you all the ones I got thank God how many did I get I haven't gone shopping in a while first I got Frankenstein by June g8o I think I know that they are a really famous horror manga right up I've been wanting to try that books I saw this and it looks really cool it's basically just Frankenstein and I think there's some other horror stories and hey it's really cool and I love the story of Frankenstein then I got waiting for spring volumes 2 & 3 which I'm really happy about these are the main things I wanted to get sorry I'm so excited so you can can you that series and then I finally got the correct volume of tank you go volume 1 because you didn't see in spying but I got press of such I think I bought myself go ray which is like the next series or something so I had to mind the original so I can actually start it so I got volume one and then my car you talked about I got fence Volume one and two and I already loving this so much well I think things like the same point really copy through and it's just so a good cyclist I'm so excited but volume 3 comes out in August yes I'm kind of sad about that but anyway it's already this is yeah ii feels like it's a heavy vinyl right on the radio maybe that's just maybe like a riot on the right areas like pulling one's name or something I don't imagine if this was like going to well maybe this is just a standalone I don't know I'm really excited about this and I got saga volume on which I know its own people well and I'm a little bit nervous on this because it is Syfy very five seasons like that and like some of you know I'm a bit hesitant when it comes to sign fight I mean I'm slowly getting more into it but I want to try this out because people say it's like similar to Avatar in terms of its veins and stuff plus me way to say it's just so good thing I'm really hoping I hope this but yeah so what I got from the book so I'm really happy about them yeah I really recommend going to the bookstore and reading if you happen because you're such a fun time yeah that's good but yes I am going to finish this vlog because I'm just gonna go to the accounts house probably just chill out watch movie I don't know so yeah oh I didn't finish the wicked King I'll probably finish that tomorrow I don't know anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this video hope you guys have a good day or night and I'll
