Leroy savage and for the people who don't know it's a 2001 Corvette that we bought wrecked we put a 427 in it with twin turbos BAM we do everything with it we do drag we try to do drift to kind of suck at that mostly drag and then we do auto cross road coursing we've driven out on Daytona we do everything street driving taking the Taco Bell whatever get out oh well you're from Florida so you can street drive anything down there this is registered and insured and all that job no portal will let you register it well in Florida as long as you have the stock reservoir tank four wheels and a stop cooling reservoir yep done deal what did you build this thing for so essentially it went like the YouTube when our YouTube channel started taking off we needed a cheap project we're live we need something that's easy to make fast and that was you know kind of a poor bag could you start off with LS so I bought this thing wrecked for five grand was it a cs6 or was it a pal she's a base model okay five grand for a Rexy five I paid five to thirty thousand miles all original highway and they did it drove perfect it ran 11s bone stop with no body and then we're like well that's making faster so we put an LS a supercharger on it ran nines then we put turbos on it we went 840 with it I mean today we ran to 850 passes at 170 miles an hour it sounds really a stick-shift baby you know oh really you Rowan gears I commend this man for running an 8 second quarter mile it's better it's actually one of the fastest we had the record for stick shift Corvettes period we were the fastest why are you technically a stick shift Corvette well that's the point a lot of people giving you crap well the guys who had the records they passed it on to me when I beat them it's a bone stock Corvette chassis with coil overs it's literally missing a body and there's guys who say it's not a Corvette and I don't really give a [ __ ] they don't think it's Corvette yeah that's fine let me ask you a question cuz I did watch you you do a pass yesterday even though this time I'm gonna answer my own question but I saw you go through the traps in third gear do you trap in third no no I let out cuz they're only letting me run eighth mile okay because I was like what the hell transmission or gearing is this guy running in this now I go into fourth right after the okay and then it runs out so well they'd know they only eleven you're on eighth I was only supposed to run eight but since it was the end of the day I forgot to let off course there's a crazy thing my thrall of stuff I went through the corner in 8:50 and then they came gave me a warning I told them I was like guys my throttle is stuck I was doing it for Dale and I went out there same thing happened dude I put it in 4th gear in the throttle stuck and I went all the way through the traps at 170 and that's unfortunate I think there is freedom stuff down there in my foot well held my throttle wide open what is the what is this thing way cuz see fives are pretty light and then you have no body but you do have a full roll bar here believe it or not it's not as lies you think so you take fiberglass off a Corvette yeah fiberglass is light steel heavier add turbos a water tank all sorts of crab it actually weighs 2,900 pounds with me in it that's it's still light though it's like 4,000 horsepower weight doesn't matter when you it's like 12 or 1300 then you got an old Eagle strapped with two turfs keys yeah do W force on quick bends dude I mean it does like when we're at Daytona did we add this thing on we got to 150 and the tires so immediately started rubbing in the back well once it's loaded or a lot these things are even functional wings we just play quick pins I when we go drag race and we yank it off but otherwise without a kind of looks naked you know right got the card lug means like our cart has a wing to for the sake of just looking cool anyway [Music] thanks the cool so what else you want to talk about this thing it's it so the rest engine obviously crazy is its top drive line the rest of the way so essentially what we have is a Texas speed 427 twin precision 64-66 that's right that's that's a simple stuff but Holley EFI on and that's what makes it actually go fast and then we had rpm transmissions build a t56 with face plating gear so that's why here it go like thunk-thunk in the rear you guys are used to that with drifting it's got a c5 dip in it for a while we had bone stock axles and everything but I mean otherwise runs on freedom you know ignite 90 you guys run that this is the last one delivery oh that's how okay yeah when we bought it shout out to Leroy was right we never found the owner search for him Leroy and Coker I wonder what happened honestly I mean the thing was rear-ended yeah dude when you order club this guy did the special delivery picked it up at the Corvette factory that's probably why so fast you want to you want to make these guys proud well let them eagles that make these make America proud did you notice as did you notice this is this beautiful with this bald eagle thing oh what's that about if I told you I'd have to kill you Gary hey Gary why you why don't you hop in with him when he does a little demonstrate and I get it can I get in with you mr.
