CLASSROOM SET UP 2022!!

[Music] hey everyone so today's video as you guys can tell by the title is my day one of my classroom setup i'm in my classroom this is my third time being in here first time is when i saw it in may a couple weeks before the school got out and then the second time is when i brought all of my stuff in here so everything's pretty much in here and now today is their time so i brought my brother with me and we're going to go ahead and start setting up i'll be coming here for a few hours in the afternoons every day this week and then trying to get everything that we can and we're going to go ahead and start with phase one of this classroom setup so yeah without further ado let's go ahead and get into the video so this is what my classroom is looking like right now this is everything that we brought some on the other side okay so right now we're removing all of the bookshelves because i'm having those actually removed from my classroom just because i have some other things that i'd like to put in here and there's no need for them so yeah i'm we're so we're taking all the books that way they can remove them and that way we can put everything else in the layout that it needs to go so once we're done removing these books we're going to start putting these desks and it's correct setup that i think i want to do so [Music] okay guys so in my room i have all this storage and closet space and i was hoping it was empty but it's actually full stuff which is actually a good thing because i actually have a lot of resources and supplies which is very great and nice but because it's full of stuff i'm gonna go ahead and organize it because it's all like disorganized and i like things to be very organized and i have different bins to put some loose stuff like different supplies and things so i'm gonna go ahead and do all that now and clear all this [Music] okay so far i'm in the process of organizing the closet on the right and cleaning out everything else so this is my goal for everything to look similar to this i just know that if i don't get it done now it will never get done and we unfortunately only have like 20 15 minutes like only like 15 minutes left to be in here before school closes so not a lot of time we got done a lot lot less than we i thought we would so i'm a little stressed but it's okay we have three more days i don't know if i could do it in three more days but we'll see if my hair looks crazy right now all right we're heading out now we did not get nearly as much as i wish or thought we would um but tomorrow's another day my brother finished these shelves over here these little white ones so actually no he still needs to put in the little shelves for that one but i did this this little shell that you guys see that got organized so at least almost one shot got organized and almost my whole desk set up but that is it so we'll be back tomorrow for day two hello everyone it is day two now of setting up my classroom so like i showed you guys yesterday gonna continue finishing off those shelves so it's all done my brother's gonna continue getting um the shelves built which we ended up getting two more yesterday just because i realized that i actually have a lot more books and i need more space so that worked out um but gonna go ahead and work on shelves and then i'm deciding i'm gonna move around my desk situation so do that next and then we'll go from there so yeah [Music] okay so we're getting kicked out again unfortunately we're losing an hour they're having us leave an hour early which is very stressful again because i feel like i have no time luckily we finally got rid of this ourselves unfortunately ourselves and that took up pretty much our whole time so cut out a lot of time that we wanted to get things done unfortunately um but finally have my library shelves put in and organize the shelves so tomorrow i just need to organize all these supplies and everything and finish this i'm keeping this one open in case i get like more math books and stuff so leaving that open and then these i have labels for all of them that's where i'm gonna put supplies like markers pencils colored pencils whatever so that's where that will go and this will be like student supplies so yeah unfortunately day two i really wish we got a lot more done but hopefully tomorrow we'll get some more time yeah we'll see you guys tomorrow okay guys so we're here now for day three of a classroom setup they finally took out the bookshelves that i needed away and so that's really good and i feel like we're gonna have the most we have the most time for setup today because i got out of my training earlier today so it's now like 1 30 and we have until about 5 30 we have about four hours which luckily which is double the time we've had the past couple days so hopefully we actually get a lot more done today and they haven't vacuumed yet so i'm not going to set up my classroom library yet but we did bring my bear which i've had for a while i got it when i got asked to prom in high school so this will be going in my library but figured out this is where my desk will be so let's hope that we can get a lot of stuff done today okay so a lot of books were left in my classroom so i'm just adding them to my classroom library so i'm putting them on the top shelves i'm not gonna do my library yet it's not my priority but i am trying to move desks around and they're all piled up on there so that's why i'm trying to clear things out and then my brother right now is building a rolling cart [Music] so [Music] oh my god okay so as you guys saw we're unrolling the carpet and two cockroaches rolled out so that was fun anyway gonna go have someone help me with that situation okay so we figured out the roach situation we had the custodians come in here and help us get them out which was a very terrifying experience but my brother right now hung up my mirror from my affirmation station um i put i'm putting some bins right now in my classroom library can't really see but i'm right now i'm just working on unboxing everything we were gonna hang up my clock but we need to put a battery in it first before we hang that up but i feel like we're actually making some progress which is good so we still have about two and a half hours which is great because it's more time than we've had the past couple days so things are looking good so far [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] all right guys so it is now a little past six and luckily we got four hours in there today so we got so much done still i wish we got a little bit more done um but for the most part i really only need more help with one more thing so we have one more day tomorrow but unfortunately we only get two hours tomorrow which hopefully with with that one big thing we need to get done which is putting out bulletin boards will be good and at the end of that time i was able to finish a calendar and he did the clock and finished up the affirmation station so things when we left actually feel like it's coming together and we see an actual classroom coming along so yes very tired very exhausted but we're leaving luckily we didn't get forced to leave today we're just the last ones here but we're tired so we're gonna come back tomorrow and hopefully get everything i doubt everything will get done tomorrow but get the stuff that i can't do without him to done tomorrow so yeah [Music] [Music] hey everyone so today is our last and final day of our real classroom setup we'll have a couple we'll have a little bit of time next week but my last big day with my brother here so right now we're just working on bulletin boards and that's the last big thing once bulletin boards are done i can just start putting things together and stuff but i do think i'm gonna need more bulletin paper and bulletin borders so i'm gonna have to order that this weekend yeah definitely need some more but yeah getting some progress done [Music] [Applause] okay so still not nearly close to finished but i'll show you guys progress we made today so we still need to get some more borders i put magnets around the hand signals coming along coming along put my board back there for small groups my brother right now is hanging these posters up but yeah still a mess so chaotic and need to put all those in recyclables but yes still very much to do okay guys so we just ended our last like official classroom setup day and i wish this video had a happy ending and we were done and i got to show you guys everything but unfortunately we just didn't have enough time i feel so so stressed because even though we can come into our classrooms next week it's going to be a lot more of prepping actual like things for me the teacher lessons planning and not so much to decorating i feel like so i'm a little stressed still but um anyway at least we got the big stuff done i definitely need to buy some more borders and bulletin paper i thought i would have more than enough because even i considered it over the summer like let me make sure i'm prepared i just wanted to make sure i was over prepared with everything that i needed and when i saw that stuff come in i was like oh i think i'm solid like i feel like it's more than enough but no i definitely need a lot more so i'm gonna going to order that this weekend but at least my room is coming together it's definitely my vision coming to life like i love how it's turning out so that's exciting but yeah i'm gonna go ahead and end this video here i hope you guys enjoyed seeing my classroom set up um i'm gonna continue filming next week so you guys will still see some ins and outs of me hopefully continuing to decorate and also a classroom tour hopefully coming before the school year starts i don't know if that's realistic hopefully everything gets done before then and also my affirmation stickers i also need to get something else to help stick with
