case i haven't met some of you and this is judah and tracy and we're so glad you're here this morning let's just stand and we're just gonna enjoy the lord's presence he's so good i just feel like we should just honor him this morning and just welcome him lord we just welcome you in this place maybe just put your hand on your neighbor and just begin to just bless them this morning lord we just love you we worship you for who you are and what you've done for us you're so faithful father you're so so faithful i just wanted to read a couple little scriptures just to just to set the tone um this is paul and he really loved jesus and he wanted to know jesus more than anything else and he said this but what things were gained to me these i have counted loss for christ yet indeed i also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of christ jesus my lord for whom i have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish that i may gain christ and be found in him amen not having my own righteousness which is from the law but that which is through faith in christ the righteousness which is from god by faith that i may know him in the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings amen lord we just thank you that it's because of the cross because of your blood that we get to come boldly to your throne say this to three people the lord is good and his mercy endures forever so judah the lord is good and his mercy is forever the lord is good is mercy endures forever amen amen amen aren't you thankful thank you jesus oh we thank you for your mercy yes we thank you for your goodness you're a worthy jesus oh just begin to tell them with your own voice thank you for being so good thank you for giving your life oh you became like us so the presence of the lord come on there's nothing like him um yes so i have a couple of announcements and then we'll take up the offering and have a word that's what i'm really excited about and i pray it just hits us deep within the heart transforms us all but i've got good news i got a tag a license plate tag from last week thank you jesus any of you that weren't here last week i got pulled over to the cops on the way to church that was a glorious time so i obeyed on that one but yeah so i'm really excited to announce we have a glory nights coming up this month this event yes and uh it'll be the end of this month many of you that have followed us for years we've been doing these actually started from a dream many years back actually we would travel all over the country and and hit major cities and it was awesome but now that we have our own house we're really excited because how many of you know from these events stemmed outreach as well we'd hit these main cities and on saturday do outreach incredible testimonies and uh and then we would get out on sundays though because we didn't want to step on the feet of certain churches in the region but now that we are one we're trying to impact the city and also house the catch and everything in between so anyway it'll be friday night oh yeah there it is um saturday morning though is a vision breakfast where we'll be over in the event center if you want to join us you have to register for that it's going to be awesome we'll serve you some good eggs and bacon um how do you like bacon yes lord okay i knew i was in good company turkey bacon yeah i'll do that too it doesn't really matter whatever's got protein in it okay you know the vision that peter goes into in acts chapter 10 where it's unclean animals always say there's bacon in that in those sheets that's what i think he saw but we'll have breakfast over here cast vision see many of you that would love to join us in a both prayer and financial way to help us just boost forward into the things the lord's calling us into really excited about it and so oh water baptisms as well it's going to be just a jam-packed weekend so it's going to be awesome look see many of you dunked whoever gets gets baptized you know i believe we can anyway we'll see but i think we can heat the water so it's not a polar plunge like on our staff members that um so excited about that you remember you know water baptism super biblical if you've not been water baptized and you're coming to the glory knights event i would encourage you to email us and and because those spots will fill up quick and we'll probably pull this production curtain until you can sneak in and out and it'd be awesome she's not gonna be going across the stage silk and wet you know i think the practical wisdom but um baptism is gonna be awesome another one coming up here pretty quick is we're gonna have a good friday service gonna be awesome um that's going to be communion look man uh i want to say it's is it not this coming weekend but next [Music] so we'll have a good friday 7 00 p.m come one come all we're gonna have communion we'll be serving communion focusing on the lord's death how many you know jesus says as often as you do this in communion do this in remembrance of me his broken body has shed blood most powerful occurrence that ever hit the globe the blood of jesus christ two days later obviously three days rises from the dead but sunday which is going to be a celebration we have obviously easter sunday here but friday good friday we'll be here as well mark your calendars for that i'm just stoked any reason we can find to focus on jesus and celebrate him we're plugging it in the schedule i'm just going to tell you that yeah christmas is going to be epic we're going to be lighting candles and just worshiping anything we can find to focus on him magnify him lift him up just don't light anybody's hair on fire in the row in front of you you know the candles the the light of the world is going to be awesome by the way i love your hair right here in the red pants and the black shirt how are you doing sorry to put you on the spot but i love your hair it's just amazing i was coming up the aisle i said just beautiful here um so anyway that um oh yeah school of ministry again because many of you are watching online we're in our break right now i miss you all academy students air hugs and all that stuff but we jump back into our spring trimester of a two-year school of ministry ascend academy if you want more information on that it's ascendacademy.com and it's a two-year program if you jump in with us this spring you will be in the class the graduation class of 2024. super amazing and um how many know these are the times to go deep in the lord deep in his word deep in community and that's what this is it's kind of a notch up i mean we really go for it and just uh no holds are barred you guys know what that means like in a match you can you can use any you know move you want but it's deep in the word we really go for it and that's awesome myself many instructors that are just generals across the earth so it's going to be awesome all right let's take up the offering we'll jump in the word um if you have an offering slip you can go and get that and i'm just going to pray not going to really belabor at this point but just want to encourage you again as you feel that tithes and offerings um just want to give you an opportunity to sew how many of you know i touched on it last week a life of generosity is how we should live as believers really in all things look generous with your time generous in love generous and giving everything unto the lord and whatever it is you live in a generous way it unlocks the reaping of that exact thing to chase you down galatians chapter 6 says don't be a fool god cannot be mocked that which a man sows he will also reap you so sparingly you reap sparingly and that's okay too i'm thinking let's just so abundantly and put the pressure back on god you know what i'm saying it and so just i would encourage you start stepping out in faith and in giving not only of financial to sow into the things of the kingdom paul writes about it in philippians and so many more places in scripture you see where you sow into the things of god first but also our time in the presence some things already touching on this morning just a lifestyle of generosity and i believe we you start a reciprocal effect of the kingdom just swirling around you can't shut it off and people wonder why like man famine and times of hardship is hitting everybody else around you but what's wrong with this person you know how do they not get affected and i believe this is part of it when we live according to scriptural principles and in faith so um the ways to give obviously behind me and those of you online can write checks text to give and the domain as well online if you're tight if you go to another church please tithe there really big into honoring other houses and not overlapping those lines and blurring them but um but i'll pray jesus i thank you so much for your people um and i just pray the blessing of god over each and every one god we thank you for your kingdom that you are the god of more than enough that you shall supply every need and god we thank you that you own the cattle on a thousand hills right now and for anybody even just um up against the mountain of lack i speak against it now in jesus name in jesus name yeah i'm reminded even now when elisha you know with the widow she was in a place of lack and he knew he had to trigger i don't know i was going to go here giving to unlock abundance and so she's like look i've got what i've got and i don't blame her i've been that way many times because i don't even know when you have little you're like the last thing i need to do is give more i need to save you know get my account just hang on what i have she was about to die she's making her last little stack of pancakes for her and her son my version and she had nothing and this is actually the lady that god told elijah to go to for provision somebody with nothing god's like watch what i can do if you'll just align with kingdom principle but if you want a line of your understanding go for it just not going to get real far so he says look i've provided i've sent a widow there to provide for you so he sends he basically sends him to a broke widow but you know god's he's always knocking two birds out with one stone she's like look this precious widow she's been faithful i'm gonna unlock abundance over her and she's gonna be the flow to my prophet so elijah gets up to her and she's like i don't have anything else he goes well what do you have she's like i'm just hanging on what i've got she said what do you have and all she had left was a little bit of oil and so he just found that one thing to get generosity to unlock on it he says give it to me first which seems super selfish if you read it you know what i mean you're like what didn't care about her her son he's like feed me first but he knew the principle of the kingdom unlock it then the oil flowed paid all the debts and provided for elijah so really good anyway if you guys want to bring those forward if you have envelopes and if you give online that's fine as well you can go ahead and come i think that so um i'm going to pick back up thank you so much man um from the so the first week remember we were in like john 13 and then last week john 14 and then this week i'm going to be in um john 15. basically to remind some of you this is the last hour before the lord went to the cross and and rose from the dead most scholars of the day propose these are the deepest verses as far as spirituality in all of the word they're all god you know breathe but john 15 he kicks into it look i pray it it hits us this morning um and we may even do something a little different at the end i'm trying to just see where it will go but last week i touched on the week before jesus washing the feet then he disperses judas you remember that it gets down to the true ones he loves the eleven then he starts going through john 14 basically telling them look i'm not going to be with you much longer basically pay close attention to everything i'm saying right now i'm not going to be with you much longer um i'm going to send the holy spirit who will comfort you lead you in all truth all these things deep truths i mean they're just verse after verse after verse but the one i want to hit this morning is john 15 where he goes into uh i am the true vine and look this to me is maybe one of the greatest of all they kind of all are to me like anywhere in the world but um and we have a fun graphic in a second we'll put up it's the old greek icon from like the 15th century i think gives a good visual for jesus called christ the vine from like the 15th 16th century and i i think given the nature of things like this helps just set our mind back because you'll see things i touch on this morning i'm trying to renew our minds mind included to the word and i think far too often culture you know starts to form society and we're in it and we don't know that's happening the bible says don't be conformed to the world but be transformed meaning come out of the form of the world by the renewing of your mind the word you know so it's like if you pour water water in a bottle it immediately takes on the form and so the bible says look don't be confused don't take on the form of the world so how do you do that ah you you get transformed meaning you come out of the mold in the form over here back into the renewing of your mind we've got to dive into the word and again if we're not careful it just happens subtly through time you know if you're driving a car and you barely just barely to tilt the steering wheel you don't notice it right away but miles down the road you're in a ditch somewhere so um john 15. i'm mainly going to be camping out on one one verse but just want to touch on some points here that are beautiful john john 15 verse 1 jesus says i am the true vine uh we'll just stop there so jesus goes out of his way to say he's the if he has to go out of his way to say he's the true vine that shows you there's many false ones out there he and i can just picture this this is just me nobody knows scholars don't know but jesus literally last supper john chapter 13 and these parables a lot of these are only in john they're deep mysterious truths so intimately based where i believe the lord's calling the bride in this last hour and so their upper room last meal jesus is just sifting through he dips the bread go ahead judas empowers him to turn him in and he says now boys listen time's running short ruler of this world is coming for me nothing's in me we touched on that last week that's sifting nothing's in me then he says i'm not going to be with you much longer holy spirit's coming and then right before chapter 15 it says jesus tells him he says now get up let's let's go away from here so our picture he's they just finished the last supper judas goes he's talking with them and then he says all right let's let's go on from here now time's running short i feel like they were walking by possibly grapevines i can just see he's running his fingers through him he's like i am the true great man and he's just going through talking to me says i'm the true one so if you can picture a field a massive vineyard full of grapevines we need to know this all the days of our life there's only one in that entire field that's true and his name is jesus christ there's vines we don't know we do it but we we love to attach ourselves to them and we love the fruit that appears in the moment but it's not fruit notable by heaven it's job it's career it's connections relationships we attach ourselves to these vines and they produce fruit but it's not the true vine that brings about eternal fruit that the bible later says truly glorifies the father and so um he goes i'm the true vine and my father is the vine dresser king james version says husband men basically means caretaker of the land farmer so the picture here is there's a massive vineyard pic pick your choice but there's only one dead center the most beautiful of all the only one that the sap of eternal life comes through into the branches of his bride and his name is jesus christ and you can see the father he comes through and he only prunes one he only care takes over one he's the divine dresser of one jesus christ the true vine and what's beautiful your beginning you will begin to see as we have one um like thing that's accountable to us in this entire thing like god does it all as always but jesus is the true vine the father is the vine dresser and he goes on to say every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away and every branch that bears fruit he prunes that it may bear more fruit you are already clean because of the word which i've spoken to you so that word prune there means purify and it's funny that jesus goes right into you're already clean because i've already spoken to you the word god's word purifies it cleanses we've got to say deep in the word what is it you know jesus says sanctify them in your truth your word is truth psalm 119 says um someone one uh psalm 119 says how can a young man keep his way pure by yielding his life according to the word or his commandments psalm 119 also says it says um i have hidden your word in my heart that i might not sin against you so one of the oh may we be washed in the water of his word ephesians 5 it's all the way through there so his word inherently washes you i just want to encourage you because you notice before the abiding takes place purity must have take precedent and his word does that we've got to stay in his word but right here verse 4 this is what i want to camp out on on this morning chapter 15 verse 4. he says abide in me and i in you as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine neither can you unless you abide in me i'm going to read through verse 8 and then i'll go back and just go slowly verse 5 i am the vine you are the branches he who abides in me and i in him bears much fruit for without me you can do nothing if anyone does not abide in me he is cast out as a branch and is withered and they gather them and throw them into the fire and they are burned if you abide in me and my words abide in you you ask whatever you want it will be done for you by this my father is glorified and you'll be my disciples so look i even have a couple of fun notes here kind of like we do in our school of ministry i probably won't really go through a bunch but i'll pull from some this word abide here we may not even get past this one word this morning these seven words though in this verse not even the whole verse abide in me and i in you is the most revolutionizing thing for the life of a believer so again i just want to paint the picture you have jesus christ is the true vine the father is the vine dresser and a unique thing jesus says he says branches in me that don't bear fruit and he talks about branches that do meaning you can be in jesus christ and not bear fruit i can even see the wise and foolish virgins in this passage it splits them right down the middle and guess the only word that this whole passage hinges upon the word abide there's a big difference i'm telling you between believers that really abide in him and don't and we're not trying to you know this morning get into like finger pointing or condemnation we just want we want the lord to take us deeper and challenge us in his loving kindness but verse 4 he says abide in me and i in you basically the picture here is i thought of a couple the fun ones just to give a visual because until we abide in him he can't abide in you that is not on him in you cannot unlock until we first abide in him and that word abide there is a relational choosing upon our part look man people love to camp out on the positional everything positional righteousness positional intimacy but there's a relational choosing that is weighty and it's all throughout the word um man tommy or one of y'all might get me a couple chairs i know this is like on the spot but let me just show you i appreciate it look at tommy also woke up i don't know many of you guys know if you heard uh that story it was awesome he was working out and uh tommy was just getting it man because you know he just he says he kind of stays focused when he's in the gym just two chairs yeah so appreciate it man sorry about that and uh thank you so much and uh so he he was working out and uh and the guy comes up to his like what playlist are you listening to you're going crazy in here you know i can imagine tommy's got all the 45 plates on his you know and uh and tommy's just as smooth as anything he pulls his phone out he's like oh that's the new love note by upper room how epic is that man he said the guy looked at him like okay man you do you i love that story man it never gets old so um but look so let me just give you a visual um look people love which is the truth how many know there's multiple truths in scripture you know psalm 78 i think says um his truths are purified seven times over and sometimes we find one truth that we like so well and we negate the other so you need the full counsel of god the full truth so is this okay can you guys let me put them over here so this would be let's call it the positional seat when you get born again everybody gets this chair thank god relational seat and they're both deep deep truths and very undergirded by scripture you cannot get around them one of my favorites anybody that's followed us for any length of time you've heard me quote this a million times hebrews 10 14 paul writes this mysterious verse you think it's a typo he says god has forever for all of time made perfect those that are being made holy and you read it you're like paul man typo that doesn't fit it does not work our natural mind think you can't have you can't forever be perfect but you're still being made holy but what what it is is we're three parts spirit soul and body our body houses it all as soon as your spirit leaves you're dead into your hands i i commit my spirit and he he's gone your body is just the housing for your soul and your spirit so you get born again you get a brand new spirit new creation in christ is kind of comfortable uh and and all believers have this chair praise god and when you pray that's how you can enter in straight before the throne with boldness the the throne of grace and god sees you um you know like his son made new we have the spirit of the living you know the the spirit of the lord sorry and this the same spirit that raised jesus christ from the dead this is this seed but your soul being renewed and work walk you know uh working out our salvation sorry that's this seat and so we're forever trying to join these two seats the christian life that's what it is you're trying to merge them to where they look the same does this make sense to you guys but people love to look man i just kind of want to live in a little compromise and sin but i'm the righteousness of christ they'll just camp out on positional verses just put their bumper stickers on their cars and all this and that's fine if it works for you and i pray you squeeze squeeze in in a squeaky way the gates of heaven but why why play around with it relationally you do the same thing you start talking about in a deep way abiding and going after the lord well you kind of get legal brother the lord says he's always with me i'm in christ ephesians 2 6 i'm seated in heavenly places no though which i love those verses my gosh chew on a meditate upon them positional take them both but we've got a these words that jesus drops like this abide they're 100 reliant upon you puts full dependence on you with no excuses to even grab ahold of there are none and i love this i know it's weighty sometimes but it's fully reliant upon us that abiding and you can see clearly in this passage the abiding is the only key that truly unlocks this bearing much fruit so let's call it the pulpit no no let's do our image watch this it's a greek icon from way back it gives a good visual vision isn't that awesome it's like old mystical greek icon so look jesus is the vine and then you have the branches these super cool looking apostles i guess but and on a grapevine the main branch the main stem sorry is the vine and from it the branches in the fr this is another thing fruit cannot come out of the vine it's impossible it's got to have a branch to go through so you and i are merely the conduit that jesus flows through to produce fruit to grapes but it is impossible to produce fruit outside of abiding in him big difference positional chair won't get you there he says look some branches are in me all of these are bearing fruit we can go back to the the regular one or you guys want to leave it up or or pull it down kristen wants to leave it up i can leave it longer so anyway but there's branches that can be in the lord but not bear fruit and he he makes it so clear here he says abide in me and i and you as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine the only way you can bear fruit is by abiding in him and i'm going to go into that word i was thinking even like a practical analogy to give you guys um you know because he says abide in me and then i'll abide in you and it's impossible if the first one is not uh relational choosing on our end he can't abide in you in a deep way it's not going to happen but like when you pull up to a gas station which you guys are loving the gas prices these days amen i'm teasing but you pull up and if you just pass by the pump if you even just pull up and park near the convenience store any of that you're not getting gas in the car you've got to pull up to the pump shut it off abide park then the pump goes into the car and that's how you get fueled up but abiding i'm going to uh touch on it here in a second it's way deeper way deeper it's funny i was another one i thought of me and judah got our haircuts the other day together we're like spinning in the chair across from each other yeah you know we're just like same thing he's getting we just look look almost the same anyway the same hair cutting but same thing if you don't sit in the chair abide first then they abide in you you can't get get the haircut so that abiding has got to be applied and it's 100 conditional upon our life choosing it's a relational choice not legalism but relational so watch this he says as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself i'll move these out of the way but in greek that word cannot guess what it means possible i'm just moving chairs uh possible with the word not added to it possible plus the word not meaning not possible it's impossible so basically the life of a believer it is absolutely not going to happen if you think you're ever going to bear fruit notable by heaven it is absolutely impossible without abiding in him it's not going to happen and i think sometimes we you know we think we know this but our life choices say otherwise and so watch this i want to go to the word abide the um old english for this word a the first letter a means onwards and the word by means to remain or stay somewhere so basically an ongoing posture of remaining and look this generation it's it's not doing this real well i'm just going to call a spade a spade this morning if that's okay this fast-paced generation it's it's doing anything but abiding in him we're abiding in many things but not the lord look we can abide real easy on facebook buy it on instagram abide in phone calls uh buy it in things we we like to look up on the internet tv whatever it may be going out to eat but when it comes to abiding in him the crowd gets real thin and true fruit's not going to happen you know greek origin of this word abide from scripture listen to this it means to stay remain wait continue endure dwell terry which means to linger in expectation and listen to the word in where he says abide in me that word in there means to be wholly given over to if you attach the word abide to that it means for a while enduring time i love this word because it's it's it ties into time we've got to invest time into being with the lord in a deep deep way um watch this i looked up this generation and it that studies show that generation z typically has an attention span of merely eight seconds a few seconds listen to this shorter than millennials who come in at a hot 12. i threw the hot in there but i bring the sword but the um the attention span you know this generation is like man so quick and fast and in in abiding's everything but that and i don't care what's popular what's that we've gotta like get out of the conformity of the world and go back way old school and if you look at jesus all of his parables just about he he mentioned he alludes to things that take time the kingdom of god he goes it's like a mustard seed you plant it through time it becomes the largest of them all birds have shot you know shadow to kind of post up under he talks about the word as a seed have any of you guys ever planted anything most boring thing ever on planet earth takes forever me and um zoe really judah kind of helped but it's mainly me and zoe right we were trying to do a uh judah just lost interest don't blame him we planted uh try to plant some jalapenos you know when you wrap bacon around them bad boys you just gotta add bacon to everything and cream cheese uh but the jalapenos just had no glory on them they never would come forward tomatoes we got one yeah and so then we plant the seed and i'm like we're waiting weeks before we even see anything i'm still looking at dirt this little green thing pops through the dirt we're like yes jalapeno tomorrow no four more weeks you know and so the the things of the kingdom and the lord if you start slowing down and go by the word standards you start realizing this takes time and you look at the lord he's like man i'm gonna pick my disciples he prays all night long mark chapter one he gets up well before the sun we're talking hours and so i love this word abide because it really there's no way around it there's no shortcuts to this word abide you really study it out it has to do with ongoing amounts of sustained time wholly given over to him and guess what those are the only ones going to produce fruit the only ones and i pray that would be us in this last hour you know that would be people that are all in and abiding in him i have other verses i'll read in a second but you see where even john talks about he uses the same exact word with abiding in the word of god amounts of time you know and i know nowadays like many of us are like but i'm so busy you know i've got so many i've got priorities i've got a lot of stuff going but when i am too look a lot of us are but when i hear that all you're telling me is what you prioritize look if it's priority to you you'll make time you know um let's just say like tomorrow somebody said look tomorrow if you'll come downtown atlanta at 10 a.m i'll give you a briefcase brief briefcase or have a million dollars everybody's going to be there i don't care if you have work probably some of you skipped funerals i'm just being honest i'm teasing but you know when something's of priority you it it takes precedent and i'm telling you the most valuable thing this side of heaven this is like one of the last most golden gems he gave to the disciples he's like listen to me i'm about to go and i need you to listen he was talking to them and through them because they were probably thinking abide in you you just told us you're about to leave it's in the holy spirit what but he knew i've got to release these truths to them and through them for my bride to come and i love it he was like look i'm the vine truest vine ever the spirit hits the ground the sap of eternal life comes through me i'm just longing to pour into my bride life complete healing victory understanding destiny that's the only thing he produces is heaven himself perfection love grace truth my father will even prune the branches basically um diseased branches things that don't they're attached but they don't abide i was looking up on it to better understand and uh they say with grapevines they go into a dormant season through winter and that right there is right when you prune them and then right now the season we're shifting into which it was interesting i think jesus was probably walking by some right as they started to sprout in spring but it takes seven months until harvest the fruit jesus was talking about takes seven months i started doing hours that's just how i am i was like how many hours a day do they need sun and water and they need like seven hours a day for seven months to even bear fruit so you see these things jesus compares spending time with him too they take time and i think in this day and age if we're not careful we just get busy and we start letting our phone run our life emails and we got to just shut it down you got to get militant with it and you reverse it the other way you said no i'm going to abide in him and he and me because if i don't abide in him in a real true rich way he's he can't abide in me he wants to but he can't and i don't want to be a dormant branch and they say some grapevines live up to around 120 years about the length of man that was promised to man they have some in california that from like 1880s so they live even like the span of a human life and they bear fruit every year so i even propose sometimes if we're not careful we'll have 10 years straight of abiding and fruit comes and it's beautiful because we're abiding in jesus because we can't bear fruit outside of him but the 11th or 12th year we get our eyes off of him and and watch the father will come pruning because if you're a branch that does not bear fruit he prunes he removes that which is dormant and dead and not to be a heavy thing but in this hour we would bear fruit and much fruit if you read uh further in that passage it says this is how my father is glorified if you bear much fruit and the only way you can do is abide in him in a deep way so i just want to encourage us this morning that we would take this you know um more seriously you know and and pray and i'm i'm believing for a fresh grace to hit this house and and everybody online that's what i want to do actually in a second maybe amy if it's okay like maybe you abide we have a prayer team but i kind of want to minister to him and just together practice what we preach i may lay out somewhere find a corner if you want to and i know it's not a typical sunday deal but i really i'm praying for a grace to abide to come on the house because sometimes it needs to be a supernatural thing and i've seen it where like a stamina will come on you and all of a sudden there's like a a new ability to be with him you know i don't know if you guys have ever been in prayer and it seemed like 10 minutes was an hour if you if you haven't you're totally lying in here i've done that plenty and uh but other things we do it's like time flies you know and that's okay we've all been there and get it but i pray this would slowly reverse in our life we'd be known as abiders those that attach deeply to the vine christ the vine and all of a sudden i'm telling you that's the other beauty of this is you can't not produce fruit if you attach deeply to him it has to happen fruit will start popping through your life it touches everything and people will notice it very fast second samuel 6 a lot of you will remember the story where david and them kind of touched the ark without full reverence uzza did sorry and uza dies so they're like whoa we're not moving the ark let's just shuffle it over to obed edem's house and just let it post up there for a few you know a few months and so obed edom he's just going about life and the ark of god the presence of god this would represent jesus the presence of god sits in his house and remains if you read in second samuel 6 it remained same word for abiding and so all obed edom did was abide it he allowed it to remain and abide in his house he didn't have to do anything else all we have to do is abide it's the only job we've been given there's only one key in this passage that will unlock that door to much fruit and it's abiding otherwise you can kick that door all you want it's not coming down but i'm in christ and we quote all the verses i'm attached yeah you are and he even says you are but not if you don't abide which is a deep sustaining of time in him it takes time and and uh but obed edom says all of a sudden everything around his world became blessed all the things of his household and supplies his whole world just got taken over by the manifest presence of god with the fruit and the same thing will happen but we just often you know we don't mean to but i think we get busy in time and i pray we'd start to reverse our schedule you know sometimes you can look at your iphone how many have iphones in here whoa samsung's whoa okay you're the green text message that that always pops up you know there's always that one person in the group text like ah samsung that's awesome when you have iphone i'm sure samsung's do the same but you can literally look oh i've done this recently i just encourage you guys again not legalism but man we're on this earth once you can't get back yesterday and and man that the the uh like uh christ the vine is posted up man he's doing his job the father is and all he needs is a bride that will attach to him in a deep way he's always available that switch never turns off the reliance is on our end and um sometimes all it takes is a few um positional shifts in live choosings that's all it is but it'll revolutionize everything just attach deep into him then all of a sudden the sap of eternal life comes through and flows into the branch like oh my gosh what have i been doing all of these years what have i been doing i've been crutching on false fruit fake fruit that man is appeased by matthew 7 many people get fooled by gifts that's another thing that people love to write off in the positional chair but i prophesy yeah that's great i love that please do it but those come those are irrevocable but relational is what i'm talking about it's a big difference relationship brings presence person it's a big difference you can get around them you can tell they don't weep when you talk about the lord their heart's not tender but gifts are flowing and prophesying and all this and that's not fruit the lord's doing that anyway fruit's different it looks like in tastes and smells like the presence and person of him it's the fruit of the spirit love joy peace the kingdom of righteousness and things like this and so that abiding it just starts to happen just trust me like obedient just say three months post up in the presence of god and abide in a deep way and you have to be very intentional about this because like i just told you guys back in jesus time they literally would make everything from scratch walk everywhere they went there was now today everything's so fast paced you know i mean if our internet's not lightning speed it's like we get frustrated because things spawn twice before you know and i love efficiency don't get me wrong but back then look moses went up on the mountain waited six days god said go up on the mountain i'm going to talk to you we'd go up there for six minutes and if he didn't talk we'd be off answering phone calls and texting it you know six days seventh day god finally spoke um so that we just start to go back to the old and i would encourage you guys sometimes just shut everything off for like a whole day i'll go wait in the woods many of you know this some of the most powerful times i'll have with the lord just shut everything down you can't get a hold of me you can't find me out there the only thing you can find is deer some woodpeckers that sometimes really ruin the secret place but but that choosing to abide like lord make that in me and lord i know i'm not the best at it but help me i want to i want to do better because i i know apart from you i can do nothing it's absolutely impossible to bear fruit because the only fruit that's legitimate is what he calls fruit and um so i just encourage you guys you can go into your phones and look at like oh my gosh i'm spending all this time on this this this and god's gonna be like i know that's okay but i love you i'm over here just waiting for you to attach to me in a deep way because this life will flow and revolutionize everything you ever knew everything you ever knew your family members will wreck your world i'll start start thinking about him and i just get messed up but people get around you they just don't understand you look the same but they're like man something's different oh yeah yeah i just amped up my attachment to him he was always there i didn't know i didn't know i was busy i didn't know i was a branch i was i was a virgin i shouldn't have a lot of oil you know matthew 25 talks about you know how i'll land it but these these 10 virgins and that's what i love about this parable too because it very intentionally focuses upon believers this is not a sheep and goats parable this is not the wheat and the tear this is strictly believers branches that are in him versus branches that abide in him and that bite is like ongoing remaining sustaining hours are you getting kind of legal days i mean i say go heavy the other way and start to see what happens you know anyway if you guys want to stand we'll uh make room for him yeah maybe amy and tracy yeah i think what uh we could do yeah i didn't think i'd go over my notes a whole lot there's so many more verses here man there's just so many more verses but um yeah let's do this i'm to pray and uh i want to encourage you in a second when you know find a place you can get out in the aisle come lay up front go wherever won't spend long we want to be mindful i know we have kids in um child care nursery and our ascend kids over here and our team so but i want to believe for a supernatural like infusion impartation to hit the house for deep abiding you know and and you can be dismissed too when i pray here in a second no pressure but across the world online that this new grace would come upon us where we just start to go in the secret place and like man i don't know what it is i just really enjoy being with the lord it's like the kite of my prayer life can fly higher and longer now there's a new wind i don't know what it is and it's that spirit going yeah yeah this is it attached to me in a deep way and i'll transform everything about your life you fruit cannot not happen and it'll be abounding much fruit and then oh my father will be glorified then you'll be my disciples and that's the other thing you don't even have to produce the fruits you don't even know how it just happens it just happens all we have to do is abide in him deep attaching in a deep deep way so yeah you guys can maybe go wherever you'd like it i'm going to pray corporately and they want to invite you to get out in the aisles come up front lay out just in the presence of the lord and sit down or go wherever you want it and i'm going to pray for a great grace to hit us [Music] jesus christ the vine i thank you for you thank you that you are the true vine and that we've been given this ability to abide in you come holy spirit right now right now let's just lift your hands to heaven and receive i pray for a supernatural grace to abide in christ the vine right now sweep across the house sweep across the nation and the nations of the world right there in your home great grace come now supernatural stamina to be with him to attach abide sustain remain dwell continue ongoing remaining wholly given over to you that we'd get lost in your presence the highlight priority of our day would be abiding in you so then you can abide in us [Music] and from that place bear much fruit be glorified father make us true disciples in your precious holy most powerful name amen you know i want to invite you just to find a place and lay out sprawl out go wherever and just let's wait on him for the next few moments doesn't have to be
