okay for chicken tikka masala you need to marinate the chicken first so i am using approx 400 grams of chicken breast if you look at the pieces it's thin slice and long ah thin sliced because it cooks well and long you know i just like it uh i just like it in that way apart from that i'm gonna use ginger garlic paste garam masala powder red chili powder it's kashmiri red chilli it gives a very good color to the chicken turmeric coriander powder black pepper powder kasuri methi ferric leaves and salt to taste plus we'll need a small amount of curd it's approximately grams of curd and we'll need one lemon okay let's start adding these spices together so i'm using approx half lemon juice this is more than enough for this pinch of chicken approximate of ginger garlic paste 1 spoon of garam masala powder 1 spoon of red chilli powder small amount of turmeric a small amount of coriander like half teaspoon half teaspoon of black pepper powder salt again i'm adding half teaspoon salt right now and i will add more salt at the end plus we will need some fenugreek leaves so like you know add a small pinch of fenugreek leaves to this and give it a good mix using a spoon or with your hand and i'm gonna marinate it for like three years see uh you need to marinate this for at least three hours add curd so if you marinate for enough time the chicken you get it's very soft it will be juicy and will also cook quite well so marinate it for approx three hours at least for three hours and if you have time you can marinate for the whole night up to you okay to make the gravy we'll need a small amount of ginger garlic paste garam masala powder mirch powder turmeric powder coriander powder cumin powder a small amount of fenugreek leaves a small amount of milk cream salt to taste and we'll need some amount of butter which will be added in the last and uh we'll need so i'm using three tomatoes you know it's chopped it's finely chopped here even if you if you can't chop it uh finely it's fine we'll be using a blender to mix it so it's fine i'm using three small onions finely chopped plus if you look at these onions i have just made like in a cubes of uh onions here this will be also added at the end and we have like this similarly i have removed the seeds from tomatoes so you can see you know that i have removed the seeds and the fluid from this tomato i'll be using this and it will be added at the end plus i'm using a cinnamon sticks a very small amount of cinnamon sticks three uh three green cardamoms one black cardamom and five cloves of five gloves of uh cloves actually five cloves of cloves so sounds oh yeah so i'm also i'm i'll be using a small amount of cooking oil i'm using a i'm using a vegetable oil here and my chicken is well marinated and we can start okay if my oil is super hot you can check it see ya this is like super hot i haven't added a lot of oil just again the base is like well greased here add chicken pieces to this don't over fill the pan okay uh so we'll cook this chicken for five minutes on each side and total time will spend is approx 15 minutes let's fry it for 15 5 minutes keep stirring it so that it doesn't stick to the base and let's check it again after 5 minutes so look at the color of this chicken you know it has already been five minutes i have just flipped it it looks awesome you know the color it looks quite golden uh you can use a spoon to just keep checking you know if this is being cooked or not and we'll we'll cook it for 10 more minutes and after that we'll start making this gravy ok it has already been 15 minutes now and look this chicken is cooked now now we transfer this chicken to another plate and we'll start working on the gravy it looks beautiful okay now let's start making the gravy so add cinnamon sticks so i'm using the same oil the leftover oil from the frying okay add green cardamom and black cardboard with cloves like fry it for like 30 seconds then add onions and ginger garlic paste okay i'm adding onions to this the finely chopped onions will fry it till it's cooked and we'll add ginger garlic paste i'm adding approx 1 spoon of ginger garlic paste toss it let's cook it for five minutes okay one thing about onions you know onions you should always cook it on medium flame or low flame because you know the property of onion if you cook it on high flame the outer part will be burnt and the inner part will not be cooked oh and keep frying these onions for five to seven minutes keep stirring in it between keep sorting it in between so that it doesn't stick to the base especially if you are using um like you know i'm using a non-stick pan so it's good for me it's easy for me but if you don't have an honest pain keep sauteing okay it's already been uh five minutes i have added tomatoes now i'm sorry that i was unable to record that but after frying onions for five minutes you know we'll add tomatoes and we'll fry it for like four to five more minutes and after that we are gonna add spices to this keep sauteing okay the onions and tomato they look it's cooked now so we'll start adding spices to this add a very small amount of turmeric like half teaspoon add like one spoon of garam masala powder add half spoon of half teaspoon of cumin powder add half teaspoon of coriander powder and add like you know one teaspoon of red chilli powder we'll fry it for uh two to three minutes i'm gonna ask add some salt to this now we'll be also adding water after some time let's fry for like two minutes okay add salt to your taste don't add too much of salt you know even if you add like a little amount of salt and if you feel you know it's not enough you can add more so i'm getting i'm getting a very good smell of this spices i'm gonna add some water and after that i'm gonna blend it in the mixer so we'll make a smooth paste of this add like a generous amount of water above 300 ml of water and let's boil it to boil for like three to four minutes on high flame okay uh it looks nice we can switch off the stove and let's wait for like five to seven minutes so that it cools down before you put it in a blender you don't want to you know spoil your blender so yeah let's cool it then blend it in a blender mixer or using a hand blender okay let's pour this sauce in this blender i will blend it okay our puree is ready uh let's strain it so that you know we remove all the seeds and all the skin of onion and tomatoes this huge seaworst strainer and make sure that you are getting the maximum juice out of this yeah it will take some time be patient you know for good things you have to spend more time in life okay my onions are cooked now like now i'm gonna add tomatoes to this so keep the flame high you know you need these onions to be crispy oh you have to frying these onions for onion tomatoes for like two minutes add like a small amount of butter come out okay now i'm gonna add this puree and i don't want anything to be wasted so i'm gonna just put some water into this and you know now now so this is good uh we're gonna put chicken pieces into this now and we'll cook it for like five to seven more minutes after that we'll add green so let's add chicken pieces keep the flame high and let's wait for five to seven more minutes okay this is almost cooked now add cream to this like bring it to boil you know just wait for like one more minute and after that will be done okay this chicken looks um awesome okay now add like a small amount of kasuri methi good to go now you can serve it with roti or rice whatever you want to okay if you guys are
