(Translated by Souk @soupvoid) Hello hello everyonee :D Look at this mesmerizing perfect cheese pull :)) I'm making a super simple cheese taco todayy~ I'm finally able to go outside in so long so I went and bought a bunch of different types of cheese. The sad life of a cheese addict :) You guys probably already know about Bottega Zelachi. It has super high quality cheese imported from Europe and Australia and I really like it This brand also has the unsalted butter I usually use for baking and it's also super high quality :) I'll start with making the taco shells first. I'm using 150g of all purpose flour, 1/2tsp of baking powder and 1/4tsp of salt I'm adding my wet ingredients which is 80ml of water and 15g of oil Then start mixing to work those arms out :) Mix it until the wet ingredients are incorporated into the flour Then I'll continue to knead the dough with my hands for about 3-5min until the dough doesn't stick to my hands anymore Just like this :D Then I'll wrap my little creation up and let it rest for 15-20min :) After resting, dump the dough back onto the table and knead it again for a bit. The dough in this stage is super soft and it feels really nice :)) Next I'm dividing the dough into 5 parts since this recipe is enough for 5 full tacos :)) Then I'll roll out all of the individual dough balls. Since this dough is more durable, roll it out super thinly into a circle about 20cm in diameter You can practically look through the dough, it's that thin :) Being extra is a part that's etched onto my brain and flows through my blood veins so there I was trying to make it into a perfect circle :)) I wouldn't personally recommend doing this :))) O that doesn't look very circular :)) It's ok everyone makes mistakes but the only one that's getting away is me :))) To cook the shell, I'm using a non-stick pan that I already heated off camera :)) Just put the dough into the pan when it's heated. You can fix it if it's a bit wonky, or don't because the wonk adds character :)) I'm cooking them for about 3min on low heat. Flip them every now and then until the dough becomes more opague. We're going to cook it more later with the filling inside It'll shrink a bit when it's cooked, from 20cm to about 16-18cm I'm storing these in a closed box to prevent drying. You can also just toss these into the freezer and they'll be good for a few months I'm going to continue with making the taco filling. For 5 full tacos I'm going to use 300g of boiled and peeled potatoes After the pototoes have boiled, start mashing it and absolutely destroy that dumb looking potato. If you have a hard time with this step, pretend the potato is your ex, it's efficient :))) Just kidding :))) That's not called efficient working, that's just called holding a grudge :))) It's easier to mash the potatoes when it's still hot. You're getting a huge workout if you decide to mash it cold for whatever reason :)) Next, I'm adding a bit of oil into the pan and wait for it to heat up While waiting, I'm going to cut up 60g of onions Throw all of that in along with a tsp of chili powder (you can change this to your preference or how much time you'd like to spend on the toilet that night :))) Mix it around the pan to cook the onions a bit Lastly, add a bit of pepper and then turn off the stove Add all of this to the potatoes from earlier Also add 5g coriander, 1/2tsp of salt and 1/2 of sugar. You can, again, change this to your preference Now just mix it all upp~ Here's the end product :) Now take the shells from earlier and put a layer of ketchup on it Oh boy here comes the cheese :)) I just bought a whole box of different types of cheese from Bottega Zelachi. This brand has been on the market for 12 years so its cheese is guaranteed to be high-quality Plus, its cheese are imported from Europe and Australia and comes in all types and sizes. It's suitable for both homemade food and even restaurant food :D I'm going to be using that sexy and irresistable mozzarella :))) It's one of my favourites if you can't tell :)) After the ketchup layer is on, add a layer of mozzarella on top Then add the mashed potatoes filling Don't put too much filling in there or you'll gain weight and won't have enough filling for the next one :)) I'm just kidding who cares about weight when you can just simply have more cheese :))) Fold your taco and hold it like it's your prized creation, your baby :)) Next I'm going to use a non stick pan and put a bit of butter on it Put the tacos on the pan and cook it for about 5-7min on each side and it's turned golden brown. The cheese should be melted and looking oh so sexy at this point :)) Be careful when you flip the tacos as well and don't burn yourself :D Anndddd tadaaaaa~~ You can immediately see that yummy cheese when you tear out a piece. The smell of the potatoes and cheese is so appetizing. The cheese from Bottega can pull to almost 60cm can you believe that :)) The shell is super crunchy and the potatoes filling tastes super buttery and so good. Plus the super fatty and delicious cheese from Bottega Zelachi just tops it off. This would be so good for cheese sticks as well :)) This little devil especially likes the smell of cheese today :)) Usually he just sits there and look pretty for the camera but started sniffing around :)) So I'd say this dish is Bub approved :))) Anyways, don't forget to share this video for mee :)) Or else my cats will scratch you :))) Tysm and bai baiiiiiiiiiiii~~~
