Checking Out An EPIC Backyard Wooden Roller Coaster - Shadow Stalker

towards the end of June I had the awesome opportunity to check out this backyard wooden roller coaster called Shadow stalker it's in East Brunswick New Jersey and it was built by a 17 year old and a 19 year old here's how the day went so we've got the temporary lift mechanism here at Shadow stalker we got uh Sammy from Built To Thrill of course what's up guys we got Colin I'm calling with Studios hey as well as Phil what's up guys what's up this is crazy Sammy this this is awesome came up pretty good you built this all at 17 that's nuts yup and I was I was still in Diapers at 17 and you know you built this whole wood coaster yeah you want me to come up there man I'll stop filming I'll help pull this up so what we're gonna do here guys we're gonna We Are The Lift Hill here so we're gonna push this thing up technically it's uh it's the fifth operating uh wooden coaster the cable lift oh yeah it's right I mean it was already but yeah theoretically theoretically that's sick we can't walk here all right this is how you power Custer yeah imagine if we had to like push El toross like 36 ensies of like a 76 degree incline like you know up these like Planks on the side we could do it keep arms hands and legs inside car at all times Sammy built the ride he's going for the test ride for the day you good you ready dude send it I've heard about that Hill that's how you know that's legit that Wildcats Revenge hat flew up oh that's crazy oh my God how many rides you have on this thing definitely at least 15. oh that's awesome how many exactly a good amount oh yeah definitely a good amount oh so sick I'm hyped to take my first ride on this thing I'm a little late to this you know it's like towards the end of June but gonna hop on this now get my ride there you go yep oh I did not expect that is that your first ride yeah yeah welcome back how was that rod we got a ride designer ride Builder ride operator maintenance Sammy the air time here looks legit I'm super excited to try this off it's a little it's like off axis too all right let's do it back up oh there we go all right manual labor at its finest all right guys I'm gonna go for my uh first right here on Shadow stalker got a seat belt looks in lap bar straight yeah you can get the other time all right enjoy let's go he said hold on uh one arm like this you want to push yeah all right you don't want to push it too much just give me whatever you guys want all right ready all right backyard homemade wooden coaster let's go oh nice yeah that airtime's awesome dude wow that's the first time I've ever ever been on a backyard coaster and that was amazing no not even a PVC coaster like straight up wooden wow yeah real one for sure thanks man wow that was awesome yeah shout out to soccer slaps shouts out to built a thrill yeah that airtime's awesome dude so here I am with the man behind the ride Sammy what's up guys we represent Bill to Thrill I am um so I'm actually going to walk back on a lot of the stuff I've told you guys about dragster specifically the zamperla aspect I made that all up um it's actually Sammy with Phil to Thrill Is redoing dragster yeah well don't say anything until uh August 1st but okay yeah that's the plan that's the plans I won't post before August first our photos look pretty good so far oh yeah you guys are got the Footers in how's the spike gonna come in is it a spike or is it a I don't know we're thinking top hat right now okay it's in the uh we're thinking like wooden top hat and then it's gonna kind of go into like some uh some kind of RMC elements all right yeah yeah so yeah I definitely won't leak anything so yeah yeah you gotta be careful about it but yeah that's you know good job Landing that contract man taking that right from incident yep intimate's got some competition yup yes I do here you've got the car it's all welded together oh nice double guide Wheels oh it's sick man is there an upstop wheel or is it just uh oh dude nice you can see it from back here okay oh yeah nice that's awesome man hey I love the double guide wheels too help with the turn this thing is legit comfy seat too where'd you get the cushion from oh nice oh sick yeah so this this is the uh the car you'll see on the new dragster actually so this thing can go um 120 miles an hour right now let's go and I won't leak that I will not leak that yeah I'll post that after August 1st the bar gotta get you know get some air time here I wrote I wrote in this position and I got lots of air time I'm gonna check out the top and some kids in their backyard they would have like a ladder on like a playset if you're Sammy with built to throw you've got a spike and then this is the spike that they'll be using or similar design for the new dragster and check that out guys track stack dead end super legit yeah guys so here's the track on the ride it's it's a track stack we've got one one two three four five six seven eight eight layers of wood just like on a regular wood coaster just a little a little smaller car weighs a lot less so you don't need like the full thick size but you know check this out you know you've got a place or guide Wheels here up stop wheel it's got steel for the road road wheels this is legit and he did have a pulley system you know to pull the car up today we were just doing that a little exercise doesn't hurt Keeps Us fit for the ride so we can get extra air time which I did receive on this ride because that that hill right there sends you to the Moon nice we got some battery braces over here yeah you should put some of these on steel vengeance nice the original car sick all right so that's going to wrap it up for this you know Sammy thanks for letting me ride and Colin and Phil thanks for helping out so much today getting this ride running so you know it's sick Shadow soccer is dope airtime is for is insane congrats to you for building this thing man you know it's spectacular and coaster companies need to be hitting you up unfortunately the town of East Brunswick is not too happy with it and as of July 6th has not been able to operate the town wants it taken down immediately and they're not willing to work with built a thrill even though one the ride is just amazing and two it's a great Showcase of filter thrill skills there's not many 17 year olds and 19 year olds capable of doing something this epic Sammy will be taking down the coaster shortly and is searching for a new home for this ride if you or someone you know is able to take this coaster and relocate it to somewhere in your property please email myself
