Cheap Dirt Bike Flip Finale! (Kx80 Part 2)

[Music] how's it going you guys welcome back to evie garage today we are going to be starting up on part two of the quick flip series uh we have this kx80 with the big boar kit big wheel kit everything and last episode we got majority of the work done got most of it back together we still have the stator cover since last time all i've done is put on the chain um yeah i just put on the chain and then put it away i got a racing spark plug had to check a bunch of different autozones it's some type of specific spark plug that works with this bike so how to find one that worked with that uh we have to clean out this gas tank because it has some sludge in it it's like thick honey if you've ever seen gas that's gone bad that's what's in there so we have to clean that out and then we have to put on the plastics and the seat and then give it a good wash but other than that we just have to put in some fluids do all that and she should be ready to start kicking over and start it up so yeah we'll start off with getting these parts on um last episode i started painting these just finished them up with some clear coat got the muffler the kickstand the shifter and the kickstarter so yeah we've got to get these on so yeah let's start off those all right so let's get this muffler on if you guys can check it out it actually turned out really good match as well with the header the whole goal with this so let's get this on all right so moving along we got that muffler on match as well with the header we're gonna throw on this kickstand so we'll get you angled up right here i'll throw this up all right so we got that kickstand up on there next up we're gonna do spark plug shifter and kickstarter so yeah let's get these done so all right so it's a bit later in the afternoon i got everything on but now it's time to put the finishing things on it so we have this homemade air filter which is terrifying looking but i am very proud of it it will work great um i'm gonna throw some oil on that and then put that in there which means i have to remove the cdi box again um we have the spark plug in there we have some transmission oil in there uh yeah so just air filter coolant and then the gas tank goes on and we'll start kicking it over now time to put the beautiful air filter in all right y'all so it is the next day we got that air filter in and then in the meanwhile i'm just test fitting the gas tank in the seat looks like they're going on well and we just got to get it all bolted down put all the plastics on and give her a really nice detail and that should be about it after the detail we can start kicking or actually i might do it before see if this thing starts up all right and welcome back another new day um i've just had a busy few days that's why this video's broken up in so many days but today we are going to finally get to detailing this thing get it nice and shiny and then post it on up yeah as i said this was just a quick flip series uh we're gonna see how it runs though i have no doubt that it will start right up just because of all of the new things on it but let's test and see if it fires on and if it does then we'll get to washing it up yeah let's kick this thing over a few slow ones you start up first kick perfect awesome all right oh best case scenario runs good too all right i don't want to fumigate the neighborhood but perfect fired up first kick awesome that means i don't have to do any crazy mechanical work um i'll test how it rides after i wash it but other than that quick flip let's turn back off that gas and then we'll do a quick detail on it so yeah let's get into that so all right we got it all detailed up looking nice and shiny and just overall a lot better i'm excited um before i sell the thing of course i'm gonna take it up and down the lot see how it runs and rides make sure it shifts through everything but quick flip series expect a video within this week on detailed on how to make lots of money doing this type of stuff so yeah we'll let this dry off and then next clip will probably be me riding it hey guys so i'm here talking over some b-roll footage and some pictures because the moment i took some pictures of the bike after i watched it um i wanted to test ride it a few times maybe even take it out but i took some pictures and posted it and was just flooded with people wanting to buy it i got a pretty quick conversation with one guy who's nearby he said he could come right now he has 1100 cash um so all i did was just hurried my ass up wrote it took it up and down the block made sure the clutch was good shifted through everything and yeah it ran good waited until he got there um coolant started leaking because one of the gaskets was bad uh he was totally cool with it just because it was an easy gasket to replace uh but yeah he handed over 1100 cash and took it on with him which is a 900 profit off of just a simple two day procedure so yeah expect a video on how to do this more
